Appearance: An average built, though exceptionally strong Pegasus with dirty brown hair. Has a shaved mane and a clipped tail, with horseshoes on despite flying most places. The wings of this Pegasus are tattered and calloused, but still very strong. Most importantly of all, he bears a leather and diamond helmet designed to act as a hacking tool in combat.

Cutie Mark: Sturdy Wing's cutie mark is a broken spear; representing his commitment to containing the evils of Equestria and his strength in battle.

Personality: Sturdy Wing is cheerful beyond the expectation of his destiny and solitude. Always greeting every friendly creature with a combination of both seasoned wary and jubilant friendliness. Years of battle and conflict have made him proud and confident, perhaps even arrogant; and his competitive nature often clouds his view of the larger goal, but at the end of the day he will return to his watchful guard over his home, and his friends. Look no further should you need someone to lift a glass in song, tell a tale, or dance to a tune. However, when the tide turns and the shadow grows black over the forest, he will be gone, ready to stand against the storm.

Backstory: Raised in Los Pegasus until his early teens, Sturdy Wing spent most of his time outside of school exploring the forests below, and protecting the weaker flyers from the cruel kids. On his fifteenth birthday he led a group of his friends deep into the Everfree forest for some fun, where they were attacked by a single ferocious Timberwolf. His friends took cover and hid, but Sturdy drove the beast back into the deep of the woods and saved them all, seeing the pain the forest was in, and the evil that lurks just on the doorstep to Ponyville, he decided what he must do. Sturdy Wing defends the perimeters of cities and roadways, keeping at a tentative bay the evil that seeks to consume the world.
