Cutie Mark: The Cutie Mark is a tornado with one lightning bolt coming out of the source.<br /><br />Whirl got her cutie mark from saving an earth pony while in a hot air balloon. The hot air balloon got caught in a dreaded storm, thus causing heavy winds and severe thunder storm; leading to lightning. The earth pony shrieked for help, but no one was around at the time. Whirl ventured into the storm and saved the pony. Unfortunately while in the process of rescue, the hot air balloon striked her ear; leaving a permanent scar.

Personality: Whirl Wind is a very brave pony. She always wants to help anypony in danger. Whirl likes to fly and improve her speed day by day, so you'll probably see her in the sky mostly. She is relatively shy, but not as much as Fluttershy; and Whirl is always up for a challenge.

Backstory: Whirl is an onlypony, so she tends to herself mostly. Her parents didn't really encourage extreme flying, or challenges in that matter. They wanted her to be an artist, or a lawyer, but she refused. When Whirl was just about 16, her parents dropped her off at flight school and they fled to Manehattan. Ever since that, she always is impelled to have a frown on her face.
