  1. We are pleased to announce MLP comic colorist Heather Breckel, artist Tony Fleecs, and writer Heather Nuhfer will be joining Andy Price as Guests of Honor at BABSCon this April! We figured it takes more than one person to make a comic and there are so many great teams working on the My Little Pony comics. So we had to bring as many as we could to San Francisco for best con of the year. Coming to make the Bay Area more colorful, these comic creators can be found sketching in our dealers hall and drawing (see what we did there?) upon their experiences as IDW staffers during their panels. A bit darker in tone than some of her counterparts, Heather Breckel (Do you see that cutie mark?!) is known for coloring all the issues of MLP:FiM to date (1-16), including the mind-bending The Return of Queen Chrysalis and Nightmare Rarity arcs. She also colored the Rarity and Luna Micro-Series comics as well as the 2013 MLP Equestria Girls Annual issue. Tony Fleecs is an L.A. based comic book writer and artist who's credits include, In My Lifetime, Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here and notably, MLP:FiM, amongst others. He is credited with drawing for the Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash Micro-Series comics, issue #2 of MLP:FiM Friends Forever, and the 2013 MLP:Equestria Girls Annual issue as well as several covers for each of the MLP:FiM comics. Heather Nuhfer is an award-nominated writer of several bestselling comics and a self proclaimed “eater of pie”. She is best known for penning several of the the MLP:FiM comic book arc, such as the Nightmare Rarity, Pirate Ponies, and Bookworm arcs. Her other kid-friendly works include graphic novel adaptations of Monster High, Scooby Doo, and Strawberry Shortcake. Find them via their twitter handles at @TonyFleecs @HeatherNuhfer @angienessyo and @AndyPriceArt . Don’t forget to follow @babsconsf for all of our announcements and contests! And stay tuned! Along with our announcement of Ashleigh Ball, this party is just getting started! The Bay Area Brony Spectacular (BABSCon) is the first convention devoted to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in the San Francisco Bay Area, and will be held on April 18-20, 2014 at the SFO Hyatt Regency in Burlingame, CA. 2. The Noble Mares of Adventure, Ellowee and Golden Gates, cordially invite you to the land of Equestria for a rare and magical opportunity. A portal has been opened in the Bay Area and those who find themselves curious and brave enough may enter it and experience the Legends of Equestria! Those who attend the Bay Area Brony Spectacular this coming April, can not only transform themselves into a pony* but find themselves spirited away to a world of quests, beauty, and exploration. Legends of Equestria features sweeping countrysides, breathtaking cities of splendor, floating airships, haunting forests, daring quests, and distressed ponies who desperately need the assistance of a hero like you! The adventurous ones who travel to BABSCon, the epicenter of this event, can not only visit this magical domain as one of its natives, but may also converse with and learn from the mystical keepers of the realm known only as... “Developers.” These wizards will be on hand to explain, guide, and discuss the future of Legends of Equestria and the muses that inspire their craft. Further, Ellowee, the keeper of the Legends of Equestria, and Golden Gates, the beloved mascot of BABSCon, can be found roaming the world awaiting the pleasure of your company. Those unfortunate souls who can not find the wherewithal to travel to the West Coast of the human world to gather at BABSCon need not despair! While the Noble Mares of Adventure, Ellowee and Golden Gates, truly wish for you to arrive, you may instead use your remote portal devices known as “computers” to join in the otherworldly festivities all weekend long. We hope that you will join us for much running, jumping, dancing, flying, teleporting, and hoof-bumping this coming month, and wish you the safest and most exciting of travels! The Noble Mares of Adventure, Ellowee and Golden Gates eagerly anticipate your arrival! *BABScon and LoE are not responsible for physical, emotional and/or psychological effects of being transformed into a pony and/or cuteness attacks. 3. “Golden Gates, what does the scanner say about BABSCon’s guest level?” The moment you all have been absolutely expecting is now here. Appearing for the first time in as many years, BABSCon 2014 is proud to announce the lovely and talented Ashleigh Ball as a Guest of Honor. The star of the recent documentary A Brony Tale will be coming to the Bay Area Brony Spectacular Convention this coming April 18-20 to give bronies a big “Howdy Ya’ll!” and an experience that’s guaranteed to be “So Awesome!” A voice actress since early 2005 when she first appeared in Trollz, Ashleigh Ball has portrayed such notable roles as Blythe Baxter in Littlest Pet Shop, Oopsy Bear in Care Bears, Plum Pudding in Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Adventures, and Mary Test in Johnny Test. Oh, and should we also mention she plays Rainbow Dash and Applejack in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic? Thats right, Ashleigh Ball will complete the “Mane 6” at BABSCon as she joins Tara Strong, Andrea Libman, and a special appearance by Tabitha St. Germain. A feat that NO other MLP convention has ever accomplished! If you want to see them all in one place then come on down to the Bay Area and see not only the “Mane 6” but the voices of Spike the Dragon, Mayor Mare, Princess Celestia, Miss Cheerilee, Big Macintosh, Ahuizotl, Mr. Cake, and Babs Seed, just to name a few. If you missed seeing Ashleigh at her convention appearances in 2013, now is your chance! As a bonus, you can also come see her for less by using the BABSCon exclusive coupon code MANE6COMPLETE during pre-registration. But hurry…pre-reg ends April 4th! And wait! THIS ISN’T EVEN MY FINAL FORM!! We aren't done yet...we still have more to announce for this year’s hottest convention so stay tuned right here and at our twitter @babsconsf! 5. BABSCon Just Got More Colorful…. We are pleased to announce Andy Price, the amazing My Little Pony Comic artist from IDW, as our next Guest of Honor. Andy has had his hand in some of the most memorable comics of the series, including the Changeling Arc, the first four issues of the series that helped kickstart the comic’s rather impressive sales record! When Andy isn’t sketching pretty pastel ponies being thrown into mortal danger, he’s drawing something else! Beyond comics he’s known to do advertising, storyboards, book covers, book illustrations, trading cards, and more! He has worked with such renowned companies as DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Rittenhouse Archives, Image Comics, SLG Publishing, and Innovation Comics. 6. I would like to announce that I will be starting developement on a Megaman 3 ROM Hack hopefully this week. After playing another MLP ROM hack (can't remember the name) I have been inspired to do my own with a wacky story using the dark depths of my crooked imagination. Anyway I hope you'll be looking forward to it. In the future I will possibly put a trailer on my YouTube channel and maybe even a demo, I'll post them here as well of course so sit tight.
  7. I had a small technical hiccup where I forgot to cut the music. I'd fix it, but honestly, I'm tired of editing right now. I just wanna play a game XD Soooo, yeah! Here's my voice! Give it a listen, tell me what you think! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lF7cdCLAHU&feature=youtu.be But, before I do any video reviews, I'm going to finish up the Pikmin trilogy, which will be typed. You probably wanna know the music, too, don't you? Well, here it is Sonic Lost World Windy Hill 1:

  9. So, um, yay. As we approach S4's premiere in the winter, I guess now is a better time than ever to announce a new ongoing blog in which I shall review every episode of the show so far. Not a lengthy, 10,000 word essay on each story, mind you, but a couple paragraphs in which I will lay out where I stand on every character, every story, every moral, and every horse pun, plus a little aside for each episode in which I talk about a random tidbit I want to prattle on about or a trend that develops among several episodes. There is no schedule for this. Maybe I'll crank the whole thing out, maybe it'll take the rest of the year, but I will write a piece on every episode within the foreseeable future. So hold on to your hooves, because I'm about to be brilliant. Maybe. Probably not. This is gonna suck.
  10. Hello, several people on here that regularly tuned in to my analysis! I'm overjoyed to announce that the secret project I mentioned before is complete- an original analysis, written by yours truly, has been featured on The Round Stable. For those unaware, The Round Stable is a pony-centric blog that specializes not only in news, but also in analysis and editorials. Over the span of the last couple months, I've been working with the editors in order to get my writing up to snuff to be put out there into the Interwebz, for all pony fans to enjoy and ruminate on. The article is titled The Pinkie Pie Principle: Humor From Characterization. It deals with how Friendship is Magic utilizes humor to aid in building the characters, but also how, with Pinkie Pie in particular, humor and characterization can be used in less-than-ideal ways. I'd like to thank any regular readers I may have garnered since I began Pretty Pony Analysis. Without this outlet for my thoughts, I never would have taken the leap and contacted The Round Stable. As for the future of this blog, I hope you'll all be pleased to hear that I'll be posting here semi-regularly once again. Obviously, not every little bit of analysis I think of is worth the effort to put through the editing process, and not everything I analyze is really in-depth enough to be published. So this blog will function much like it has; my analysis and thoughts will go here, with my more extensive and in-depth writings saved just in case. At this point, I'm not a full-on contributor at The Round Stable, but it is up in the air at this point. Depending on how things go, I may or may not be admitted to the team. While it is far, far too early to jump to the conclusion that I'll become a regular contributor there, I can assure you that it is not outside the realm of plausibility at this point. So, there ya have it. Thanks for the reading my ramblings on this little corner of the Internet, and I hope you'll continue. I have plenty of ideas for things to write about. So if you enjoy my writings, why not come along? We'll see together where this all ends up. Yours, Metaright

2K Sports announcing WWE '14 Release Date

2K Sports© announced the release date for next upcoming wrestling game for Xbox 360 and PS3. 2K Sports is now the wrestling gaming brand for WWE since THQ went bankrupt. The U.S. release date for WWE '14, will be on October 29th also the Europe release date will be on November 1st. That is all for now, I'll be doing a blog on Batman: Arkham Origins next week. Ciao!
  12. Hello all. I honestly didn't expect for my analyses to become quite as popular as they did. Granted, ~130 views per article is not really popular at all. In fact, "popular" may have been a terrible word to use. But for an unknown, up-and-coming writer on the Internet, that's a pretty significant figure. Anyway, there will be a delay for this blog. For reasons I do not feel I can disclose at this time, the analyses I have written will not be uploaded to this blog until further notice. I can tell you that there may be an exciting new development for me in the near future that pertains to my writing. Alternatively, this may turn out to be a false alarm, in which case my analyses will return to this blog as normal. I do apologize greatly for the delay. I know that there are at least a couple people on this forum that seem to enjoy reading what I produce, and I hate to disappoint. But I ask what few regular readers I possibly have to trust that I am doing what I feel is best, and what may result from this may benefit us both greatly. That's all for now. Thank you for taking the time to read this, as well as the rest of my articles on this blog. I truly appreciate you as a reader, whoever and wherever you are. See you soon, Metaright
