  1. When experiencing negative emotions, do you eat comfort food? Or do you lose your appetite? Both, depending on the situation? Or neither?
  2. So i got into vaping after meeting local bronies. They said it was a healthy alternative to actual smoking. Now, they didnt say vape in place of smoking. In fact, they told me to quit instead of looking for more ways to smoke. After a long talk about smoking and why we do it, they pointed me to vaping. Less messy, less chemical's im inhaling(cause im mostly smoking vegetable oils and flavoring with a small amount of nicotine. Bought myself a 200 dollar vape pen thats top of the line(until they make a newer better one) that works well. I've been mostly vaping to get that extra energy during work. Now im flavor hunting. I dont smoke for the nictotine anymore. I use 0mg nictotine e-juices that are just flavouring. I spend close to 100 dollars a month looking for that next big flavour. (Why do i feell like this is someone's OC's backstory?). I just wanted to know, who else vapes? Maybe even start a vapers club? Do you vape to quit smoking, flavour hunt like me, or just cause?
  3. Random but it's a... Strange condition I have
  4. This is disgusting! I see this in public bathrooms all the time and I hate it. I wash my hands 100% of the time in both public and private bathrooms. Please it only takes a few seconds, stay clean and healthy guys Second, don't you hate it when people don't close the door when they use the public bathrooms? This is pretty common when I use them.
  5. Perhaps you came down with a fever, sore throat, vomiting, etc. When was the last time you got sick?
  6. Wellll here we go again, another COVID topic! So with all the COVID 19 going around dies anyone happen to know anyone with a confirmed case? While I know people that MIGHT have had it that I know of I have not meant anyone that had an official test done and tested positive!
  7. Anxiety is a cruel beast. It makes us a feel a multitude of things, like worry, stress, fear, and generally it makes us feel really, really bad. It's not good. I suffer from pretty severe anxiety, as it is in the 'crippling' category. I take a medicine for it that only seems to work at times, but in times like last night, the medicine had no effect. So I want to bring up the discussion, do you suffer from anxiety too? If so, how bad is it? How do you cope? Also for the record I am diagnosed with GAD or Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
  8. Bit of a random question, especially since I almost never use painkillers because I have had little reason to do so, but recently I pulled a rib muscle and...yeah, let's just say that hurts like hell. After 3 days of hardly sleeping as a result and dealing with the pain (not very well mind you), I took an Aleve liquid release capsule and that has worked incredibly. Went from barely no sleep in 3 days to being knocked out for 11 hours with no pain whatsoever. Still not feeling much pain, just some soreness currently and for that I am quite thankful. I think I have a substantial new-found appreciation for these things. XD It makes me wonder, what painkillers do you all normally use when issues arise and have the most success with?
  9. Is there anyone out there with mental health issues? I mean more like anxiety, depression etc... it doesn't just have to be autism, but I won't disregard anyone for posting about this either. I just don't want to make this thread a repeat of the autistic thread. Also, if there's already a thread about this, feel free to redirect me there. ^^ As for myself... aside from my autism, I have very severe anxiety. It's often so bad that it disables me from doing most things. A lot of medical pros tell me it's due to my anxiety, which is a little stupid. They don't really understand how hard it is or how bad it can get. I've also self-harmed before. I've been clean for several months now, and I'm very proud of myself for this!
  10. So let's say we're at the point when bionic body parts became more functional than natural body parts. What would you think about that? Would you "change" your body parts for cyber ones or you're against it? I have a thing for bionic prosthetics, they're one of my passions, in fact I even wanted to develop them in future! (but I realized that this job has a very risky way to get to) So I would (and will if I live up to this point) change at least my arms and eyes
  11. Simple question. Everyday I go on a 45 min walk in the forest which is located at the rear exit of our house.
  12. How's it going everyone, my name is Matraxial Artemis. Some of you may have heard of me or know me from the past in this wonderful Forum. I started this topic to keep the track of days, showing my art (every art tells a story) either be a joyous moment or a sad moment. It's like that I'm telling a story.

  14. I’m curious do you have any scars? If so where and how did you get them? It can be a mental thing too but then it’s better to put in spoiler. as for me, my main scar bothers me a lot it’s right under my chin because I fell as baby on top of a porcelain chicken and got stitches for that. That accident also left me with scars through my eyebrows. (Their not visible on selfies cause I can hide them with make-up) UwU - I also don’t feel comfy showing my chin etc that’s why my selfies mostly come with a filter only a few know me without! I have a scar on my finger on right hand aswell as scarred legs, stretchmarks on my bum / sides because of growing probably and cut scars on my left arm but they (luckily) faded because they got treated asap, you only can see it if I get a tan but I’m really white... mental:
  15. Have you ever had something you fidgeted with when you were stressed or anxious? And if so, did it help? I have a three-year-old stress ball that I recently rediscovered, but I don’t think it’s very helpful.
  16. The title is pretty explanatory. I was just wondering what all of your accidental injuries are. I'm betting that none of yours can top how retardedly I received mine. It was my turn while my friends and I were playing pool. I had to hit a ball that was on the other side of the table, so I raised the the cue stick and put full force into it. My aim was true and the ball was pocketed. I also managed to PUNCH the pool table at full force. THAT has got to be one of the stupidest ways I had gotten an injury. Baseline, I received a cut, about a centimetre, in length, just because I sucker punched a pool table.
  17. Spoiler alert, we've got nothing to go on. But for anyone interested, it goes into great detail on why all of our estimates are so wonky. It's a pretty long article, in fact, but fortunately it does so with funny pictures and language that those of us who aren't insanely educated can understand. The article itself is here - Any thoughts? ... {this is a few panels, by the way, not the whole article}
  18. About a week ago I started taking my showers cold. At first it was horribly unpleasant, but now I like it. Advantages: 1. No waiting for hot water 2. Save money 3. Shorter showers 4. Better for skin and overall health Disadvantages: 1. Cold Has anyone else here taken a cold shower?
  19. So i know brushing your teeth is important day and night for every day but what about mornings ? if you brush your teeth at night and not have anything after and just go to sleep then whats the point in brushing your teeth in the morning ? why not just mouthwash in the morning since you already brushed them at night? if u guys want to know yes i do brush my teeth everyday XD lol.
  20. Since everyone is apparently being forced to wear these things, might as well wear one with a personal touch. I’ve seen all kinds of different styles, colors and patterns. Do you have a mask customized to reflect your personal interests, or something generic straight out of the box? I have one with Disneyland attraction logos on it (see below). How about you?
  21. What do you think about snuff? Do you take it? Do you have friends who take it? Maybe you think people should not snuff? Is it legal in your country, and do you think it should/shouldn't be? Do you think it's dangerous? I snuff, although really rarely - maybe once a month, or less. Also, please keep in mind that snuff is legal in many countries and is not a drug - I've met people who thought so.
  22. Will it ever go away? Will someone finally develop the cure for it? And most importantly, will things ever return back to normal? I hope it goes away, I'm sick of not being able to go certain places because they are closed due to the coronavirus.
  23. Given how gatherings where still allowed up to 1000 people early on, and somewhat later down to 50, I was indeed baffled and maybe even angry when some shops etc. closed without being legally required to. My moments: 1. A newsletter, which has shown calc on how infection rates work and our whole health system is in danger of being unable to cope with, and just reducing the infection rate by 50% will have an multiplicative effect way closer to 80% than 50% for the number of infected, depending on the time span. Before I was like Yeah, as if it helps much if a few people wear masks and stay distanced, and then I went to Wow, even impact that number slightly will have eventually a large effect. That such small action make a huge difference. 2. This didn't affect me too much, because I already developed #1 at that time, but the short speech of Merkel to the nation: The situation is serious and dire. Please take it serious, too. That surely was a signal towards the population how important the stuff is, and not all countries got such strong signals from their govs regarding corona. That surely helped. 3. Again not impacting me much, but it was a relief that obligatory masks reduced infection rates by 80%. I did wear coverage (scarves) before that anyways, but making laws certainly helped and fining people violating them. Also, the signal sent by making such ones cannot be underestimated.
  24. I've been debating becoming one for a while but I have finally decided to just do it. I just don't like the idea of eating animals. I've also researched into it a lot more lately and I now know what to eat and what vitamins to take to remain healthy. Any other vegetarians here? I didn't eat any meat yesterday so I guess today is my second day of being a vegetarian Any advice for a newbie? Edit: Oops. I meant to tag this under food not health. Sorry.
  25. I've just gotten back from my new therapist, I haven't had a therapist since I was 16; I feel amazing. At first I was feeling scared and worried that new job opportunities and people would think I'm crazy or scary but after talking to my therapist she cleared everything up. It's absolutely OK to admit that you have depression or feeling scared/anxious, crying and letting it out felt so amazing. What do you guys think? Do you think therapy is good for anytime you're emotionally upset, or should you be like me and wait till it's almost unbearable then go in? I feel like I should of done this a lot sooner. Also discuss how medical and insurance should offer more options when it comes to getting personal health, some insurance companies refuse to help you with getting proper health, even if it's mental or drug/alcohol abuse. Personally I think it's bullshit, you should be able to say "I need help, I need someone to talk to!" and go get that help without any hassle.
