  1. Okay so, I think I can be able to buy this PC. I didn't bother with building since I have no idea on how to build one, and the fact I'm too lazy. Judging by the processor I might even be able to run Source Film Maker at minimum to medium settings. Take a look and tell me what you think: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuypower-desktop-8gb-memory-500gb-hard-drive/6980021.p;jsessionid=66F755CE17F2C85C43F28CCAF524D44E.bbolsp-app02-111?id=1218818471270&skuId=6980021&st=pcmcat287600050002_categoryid$abcat0501000&cp=1&lp=10

  3. NOTE: Any major/minor spoilers on the story, can you please put up a "Spoiler" tab? Some may haven't finished the game's story yet. I love this game. I knew Rockstar Games for the GTA series. Even though I never played GTA, I thought it looked like a bad series, so I steered away from all Rockstar games. Then I tried out Red Dead Redemption, another Rockstar game, and it was a really good game, actually! After that game, I was thinking wrong about the company, so I tried out LA Noire as well. I like those old films where it was murder mystery and everything, so I gave LA Noire a try Via Gamefly, It surpassed my expectations, and doing the story itself is very interesting, and keeps me on my toes. The characters were great too. Especially Cole Phelphs and Rusty Galloway. Has anypony else tried/played this game? Was it any good to you?
  4. I hate em' Off to /dev/null they go! also PC master race my ass. and Console master race my ass as well.
  5. I actually had a fair bit of fun playing Civ IV (Even though I suck hard at it) and Civ V is only £5 atm but Because I am severely limiting myself on steam purchases (I am getting a Wii U) I won't be able to buy the expansions, and from what I have heard Civ V is pretty ass without them. So could any Civ V players confirm if they are right or not? Should I just skip V and wait for Beyond Earth?

  10. The journey to Greenlight has been a long and stressful one but after long last we feel confidant enough to submit our first game, Pigeon Defense Force, to Steam's Greenlight. As such, we would like to take this time to share what the game is all about and encourage everyone to please take the time to head on over to our Steam page to give the game a look over. From the Steam Page itself: Oh no! The Earth is under attack by a flock of Angry Alien Avians and it is up to the Pigeon Defense Force to save the day! Inspired by classic arcade games and 90’s cartoons, Pigeon Defense Force is a top-down shooter where players go beak-to-beak against an alien bird menace. Do you have the skill necessary to defeat Admiral Pelican or will General Hawke and his forces wipe the Pigeon Defense Force off the face of the Earth? Pigeon Defense Force is the first game being developed by Toxic Creativity. We have poured our blood and sweat into this project and are very proud of the result. Pigeon Defense Force will provide players with a lot of entertainment as well as challenge as gamers face off against hordes of evil alien birds. They will need quick reflexes if they wish to survive the onslaught while at the same time trying to achieve the highest score possible. Pigeon Defense Force includes: A classic 2D top-down shooting experience with fully rendered 3D models Fifteen levels spanning over five maps. Five different Pigeon Pilots to choose between; each with their own speed, firepower, and special weapon. A survival mode to push players to their limits Cinematic cut-scenes detailing the storyline between the PDF and the Alien Bird Menace A killer in-house soundtrack to help keep the blood pumping. Achievements Weapon Power-ups to increase firepower High Scores to increase bragging rights Can you pilot your Pigeon through the alien assault? Put your skills to the test with Pigeon Defense Force and find out! For over a year we have been working on Pigeon Defense Force and the release date is growing closer with each passing day. As such, we'll be updating our Steam Page with every new update and we'll be doing our very best to answer any questions you may have! We really want to make this game one that everyone can enjoy. All we ask is for you to take a little time to head on over to Steam and give our game a look-over and if you like what you see, please don't forget to give us an Upvote. Here is our page for everyone. We really hope that you enjoy what you see. Thank you all so very much! http://steamcommunity.com/id/ToxicCreativity/myworkshopfiles/?section=greenlight&appid=765
  11. My 500 Watt power supply came in today, but not my graphics card yet! (It says it's still in Toronto, ON) Just to let you know, my graphics card is going to be the ASUS GTX650-E-1GD5, hopefully this is enough to please me. Even though I already bought the power supply, is 500 Watts enough to power both the motherboard and the card? (This card gets power from the motherboard, no slot for the power supply cable) Old PSU = 300 W New PSU = 500 W GPU card power required = 75 W I wanna make sure I did the right thing, this is my computer and no one else's, so this is my risk.
  12. Personally for me they do, cod, halo, tf2 and battlefield, ever game I get is filled with nothing but snipers (Or in Halos case, people teamkilling for it) it becomes frustrating and unfun when I cant take a single step without being shot by three or four snipers. Cods unrealistic use of them is the worst. Running around using them as a shotgun is bullshit and annoying to deal with for me.
  13. HOORAY I FINALLY DID IT!!!!!! I built my first computer ever today... and jesus was the experience.... well interesting I guess! First things first, I did NOT go through this without problems, I made some pretty damn stupid mistakes which I'm surprised haven't come back to bite me. So the first thing I did was install the CPU... The biggest mistake I made was umm.. not putting the CPU in properly... I had taken the words "put it in gently" a little to literal and assumed it was in place, and when I put the stock cpu cooler on I noted it was moving around a lot... only to pick up and see the cpu stuck to the bottom of the fan.. OOPS! I fixed it very quickly and was amazed I didn't fuck up the pins. The next oh so fun part was trying to hook the retention's of the fan to the side. this took me so god damn long because it just wouldn't stay, I'd say I spent about half an hour before I got it right. After this I installed the 4GB ram as you can see in the picture above and got ready to place the motherboard into the case. Before doing that however I placed the powersupply, hard drive and optical drive into the case, because they were easy to install (Close up of HDD) Now I installed the mother board into the case, the case came with some pre installed motherboard standoffs however I needed two more for the MB I was using. The screws all worked very well and I was starting to get close to the end of the build. Now that the motherboard was securely in the case I now decided to hook everything together, here's a before and after picture. Before After: Everything was all connected, it was complete!! I hooked up the power cable and got ready to see the PC boot!! .... and it didn't I was confused and wondered why it wouldn't work however by this point it was late at night and decided to wait til morning to see the problem. Now by morning time all sorts of things raced through my mind, did I break the CPU earlier? Did I scratch the motherboard? Is the PSU fucked? ...nope it was none of that after all! After a couple of hours tinkering with the MB I actually found out the connector to power the MB... was loose... once again oopsie So here it is... my first boot! The computer is now waiting safely in a box to be delivered to my friend! If anyone is interested in building a PC I would HIGHLY recommend doing it, it was such a fun experience!
  14. Me and my friends are tired of Tekkit, so I offered to compile a few mods and make my own tech themed modpack, I figure that since it's for personal use I don't really need to worry about permissions. We had the most fun in tekkit planning out the layouts of pipes and machines, an making complex redstone devices, and factorizing everything so we want some tech themed mods in the pack. 1.6.4 only please. I already have IC2, computercraft, and buildcraft. Any suggestions?
  15. I've been looking around for a good PC for a relatively low price range, and yesterday, I stumbled across this sale on CyberPowerPC that looked pretty decent. If anybody could tell me if this build is good or bad for the price, I would very much appreciate it. If you do see some parts in there that you absolutely would not recommend, please let me know. All I'm looking for is a nice rig that can play most newer games like Battlefield 4, Titanfall, Skyrim, EVE Online, DMC, etc., at max settings with zero lag. Let me know if this machine would be capable of that BASE PRICE:$799 CASE: ZALMAN Z11 Mid-Tower Gaming Case w/ USB 2.0 & Side-Panel Window CD DRIVE: LG 16X Internal Blu-ray Burner, BD-RE, DVD+RW Combo Drive (Black Color) COOLANT: Standard Coolant CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.50 GHz Six-Core AM3+ CPU 6MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology CS_FAN: Maximum Enermax 120MM Case Cooling Fans for selected case (Maximum Silent Operation) (1,000 RPM Black Color with No LED Enlobal Magnetic Barometric Bearing 17 dBA) FAN: Asetek 510LC 120mm Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler - Enhance Cooling Performance (Single Standard 120MM Fan) FLASHMEDIA: INTERNAL 12in1 Flash Media Reader/Writer (BLACK COLOR) HDD: 2TB (2TBx1) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive) IUSB: Built-in USB 2.0 Ports KEYBOARD: AZZA Delta Gaming Keyboard w/ Anti-Ghosting & red backlight MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1866MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair Vengeance) MOTHERBOARD: * GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P AMD 970 ATX w/ Ultra Durable 4 Classic, On/Off Charge, GbLAN, 2 PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x1, 2 PCI MOUSE: AZZA Alpha 1600 DPI Gaming Mouse NETWORK: Onboard Gigabit LAN Network OS: Microsoft® Windows 8.1 (64-bit Edition) + Office 365 FREE 30 Days Trial OVERCLOCK: Pro OC (Performance Overclock 10% or more) POWERSUPPLY: 600 Watts - Corsair CX600 600W 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply RUSH: Standard processing time: ship within 2 to 3 weeks SERVICE: STANDARD WARRANTY: 3-YEAR [3 Year Labor, 1 Year Parts] LIMITED WARRANTY PLUS LIFE-TIME TECHNICAL SUPPORT SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO VIDEO: AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card (Major Brand Powered by AMD) PRICE: ($863)
  16. It’s another year and that means another Assassin’s Creed game is coming our way. Unlike last year, however, this year will reportedly see two Assassin’s Creed games. One will be released on the PS4, Xbox One and PC while the other will be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. A tipster leaked the former to Kotaku and that has forced Ubisoft’s hand resulting in the announcement of the next Assassin’s Creed game. Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Unity over the weekend – the game is slated for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It will feature a new protagonist named Arno and will be set in Paris. The time period is the French Revolution if the guillotine didn’t give it away.According to Nicholas Gigante over at The Examiner, the game will also do away with competitive multiplayer in favor of four player co-op. Beyond that, we know nothing else about Unity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i41FVf7Jl4E‎
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Prj3LDjJMjw (Original Rayman Legends trailer) Hi all! I was browsing youtube, and I spotted this lovely video. You all know who Rayman is, yes? No? Well, Rayman is a game series that follows a limbless hero and some of his friends. But I'm not good at explaining things nor am I here to talk about Rayman. I am here to talk about RayCORD, a soon-to-come platformer that follows Raycord (Discord) as Rayman, and from what is seen in the teaser, it looks amazing. The art style is spot on, and it just looks... Good! But I want to know what you think. So, what do you think about this? Are you hype? Are you against this? Do you not even care? Talk away! Tell us what you think!
  18. WOW LOOK A NEW SECTION NOT LIKE THATS EVER BEEN DONE BEFORE. Anyways, in this "segment," I will be showing you some new(ish) steam games that have been put out into the greenlight thing or whatever. So yea. Enjoy or something. The first game I will be doing is called "Crawl," a 4 player game made by Powerhoof* in which you play as a ghost who can transform into monsters or something and try to kill the adventurer exploring the cave you are in. *Link to their site: http://www.powerhoof.com/ As you can see, it is very pixel-y. Look at those monsters. MHMH LOOK AT THEM. So anyways, you play as this ghost dude and you take control of these monster guys. You are up against 3 other players trying to kill this adventurer, and who ever gets the killing blow takes the adventurer's body. You must then locate the hidden room that has some portal thing in it and fight a boss. Bam. Boom. Have you gone to check this game out yet. No? Well if you want more from me too bad you know I am bad at writing here is a video: Oh, and PS: This went up on Greenlight yesterday and is already lit, so dont worry about it not coming out.
  19. You guys didn't think you could have a proper bandwagon without me, could you XD Well, let's see. What did I do with my life... 1. Bought and beat Mega Man 3 on the Wii U Virtual Console. 2. Set up a Twitter account. 3. Threw it away after only a few hours in. 4. Bought parts for my new PC. 5. Wrote a few lores about Sonic and MLP (Separate, not crossover.) 6. Chatted on Skype with Princess Shy, Dsanders, Sterling Crimson, and a few others 7. After everything else was finished, I pressed this button a reasonably large amount of times.
  20. I have had this computer for a few days now, and I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the parts inside? I want to turn this computer into a gaming pc. ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M11AD Intel Core i5-4440 3.10GHz 8GB RAM 64-bit Intel HD Graphics 4600 1TB 7200RPM HDD 300W PSU Windows 8 upgraded to 8.1 for free I thought to post it in a blog, since I already posted something in a thread, and I did not want to bring back a dead thread (if it is dead).
  21. Ok so I'm getting these random video card crashes lately. While playing a game my screen will turn mostly white or black and the whole HDMI signal just freaks out. Also the sound goes buzzing. I don't think it's heat related because my video card doesn't get above 80 degrees and my processor doesn't get above 65 too. I also recently updated drivers and bios and already run a memory test. DOES ANYPONY KNOW WHAT TO DO??/ :( Also my pc is really new, just over a moth old so I can still send it back. But I just wanted to make sure it's nothing I can fix myself ^^ So here are my specs: Video card: Asus2GB D5 X GTX770-DC2OC Processor: Int Core i7-4770K PSU: Corsair RM650 MOBO: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Memory: D3 8GB 1866-9 Vengeance rd If anypony could help I'd really appreciate it!
  22. One of the original FPS games... is 20 years old! I remember my father playing it when I was a wee lad, and I've been playing to this day! my 20th isn't too far behind either!
  23. Even though I'm a HUGE Sonic the Hedgehog fan, my opinions of certain games in the series change all the time. For example, Sonic Generations. Back when this game came out in late 2011, I was in the middle with it when it came to my overall opinion. But, after playing it again after two years, my opinion on the game has changed drastically. I couldn't believe how much this game harps on the nostalgia of previous titles. But, on top of that, I couldn't believe how well they did it. But, before I get into the game, I'll start by briefly talking about the story. Right off the bat, we see the younger Blue Blur, Classic Sonic, being dropped in an HD recreation of Green Hill Zone. After playing through this love letter to the fandom, Classic hears a loud, unsettling noise coming from the distance. He simply shrugs at the sound a few seconds later and continues running. But, that doesn't last for long when this ungodly monstrosity called the Time Eater enters the Green Hill Zone and sends Classic into a timeless void. Upon this, we're immediately transitioned to the present day, where Miles "Tails" Prower and (most of) Sonic's friends are planning a surprise party for the Blue Blur's birthday. For those that don't know, this game was released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog. That's why this element is introduced into this game's plot. We then see the older version of the Blue Blur, Modern Sonic, enter the area and be surprised by his friends. As the party commences, the same monster from before enters Modern's time and begins kidnapping his friends. Sonic attempts to homing attack the Time Eater, but the monster simply smacks him unconscious, sending Modern into the same void that he sent Classic. From that point on, both Sonic's must race through their memories to restore the past and find out who exactly is behind the Time Eater. Alright, now that the story is out of the way, time for the game itself. The game has a total of nine zones for our two heroes to run in. Each zone contains two acts within each of them. Act one will always be played with Classic Sonic while Act two will always be played with Modern Sonic. The acts are designed to cater to each Sonic's specific abilities. For example, Classic's stages are more centered around platforming and spin dashing your way through the level in a full 2D environment. Modern's stages are like this, too, but his stages are much faster and he doesn't have the spin dash. However, that is replaced by the boost gauge, which Sonic has had since Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Colors, though it was taken away in the most recent title, Sonic Lost World. Now, let's talk about the zones themselves. Each zone is a recreation is a recreation of a certain level from a past game. For example, we have Green Hill Zone from Sonic 1, like I mentioned earlier. We also have recreations of zones like Chemical Plant from Sonic 2 and Sky Sanctuary from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Each stage is remade beautifully in full HD graphics and each stage has a remix of their respective themes. I love the remix of Green Hill Zone for Modern Sonic, and I especially get a kick out of Classic Sonic's City Escape remix. There's also a power-up shop that you can go to where you can purchase things like the elemental shields from Sonic 3, boosts, and other things around those lines. You can purchase these items after you earn them by doing specific missions. Problem was, I could get through almost every stage without power-ups. Because of this, whenever I earned the special items through missions, I often forgot I earned these items to begin with. So, these power-ups are mostly just pieces of optional nostalgia. Another thing that bothers me is the final boss. The actual fight itself isn't that bad, and it's one that I think most players can enjoy without much of a problem. The issue is the background noise. If you've already played this game, I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about. While the two Sonic's are finishing off the time eater, everyone that you've rescued is talking to them on the other end, pointing out the painfully obvious homing shots and telling you what you must do. It gets annoying REALLY quickly, and whenever I replay this boss, I just turn down my TV just so I don't have to hear it. But, honestly, those two are nitpicks. The overall game itself is one of the best 3D/2D Sonic the Hedgehog games I've played in a long while. Like I said before, this game harps on nostalgia tremendously. But, I think the game is one of the best among titles that follow a similar concept, such as New Super Mario Bros. or Donkey Kong Country Returns. If you're a Sonic fan and if you haven't played this game yet, please, do whatever you can to get it. It may be the end of the generation, but this game will hold up for a long time. (But, don't get the 3DS version. That version is terrible ) Overall Game Grade: A Next Review: Shadow the Hedgehog
  24. Now, not saying they would ever touch this, but are you curious about pre celestian pony history? (Aka PC, or if you wanna be cheeky BC). I mean celestail isn't around in hearth warnings eve or so the story goes. would you be curious to find out there use to be worse than discord running around? the forces that gave Sombre his dark magic? the source of unicorn magic itself. I'm cool with the current show, but i sure wouldn't say no.
  25. here's a link to the PC. http://gamepc.nl/amd-game-pc it sports: an AMD FX4300 processor clocking in on 3.8 Ghz an kinda good 8 gigs of RAM an AMD radeon 7850 1 gig graphics card and a 500 gig HDD i know the graphics card isn't all that good, so should i buy this? it's about 600 euro's, and that's really cheap for a game PC.
