  1. What is that you like about the above user's avatar?
  2. This game is quite simple. Just change one letter of the four-letter word that the pony above you posted. IT HAS TO BE A REAL WORD. Here's an example: Pony 1: Sink Pony 2: Link Pony 3: Line Pony 4: Life ... And so on. I'll start: Pens
  3. So, not really sure how 'in control' this will stay, but yeah. Basically, you have to post what the user above you says you post. Like I'll say, 'Post the 10th photo that you have in your camera roll' and it can be on any device. If you don't have, like, the 200th photo or something on that device, than say you don't have any 200th photo if you have only, like, 12 or something. Idk, it's just something I came up with 'cuz I was bored. So, Post the 50th photo you have on your camera roll!
  4. Self explanatory, and don't cheat and look at profile of the user above you. And keep in mind, that this is just a game, I'm aware of people who do not identify as "male" or "female". And gooooooo.
  5. I got the idea from these threads: http://mlpforums.com/topic/54555-the-avatar-above-just-licked-you-whats-your-reaction/ http://mlpforums.com/topic/27262-you-just-got-kissed-by-the-user-above-you-your-reaction/ Anyway, the name explains all. What would be your reaction if the avatar of the user that posted above you just punched you? You got punched, not your OC or avatar. Ha, there's no avatar to punch me.
  6. Twilight and her friends have disappeared, and chaos is spreading across Equestria! Follow Princess Luna as she searches for the Mane 6 and locates the source of the calamities. (Takes place during Season 3) This is a fan project I've been working on for the past several years with several artists, musicians, and playtesters. I've got the first 2/3rds of the game in a rough playable state, though it still needs a lot of polishing and bugfixing. I intend to continue working on it, but I've lost momentum on it for a couple of months now. Since the last season's hiatus is over, I wanted to post my most recent build publicly before the series ends. Hopefully, it will help give me the motivation I need to get back on track. A few things to know -The game should be playable in its current build, but there are some missing graphics and other kinds of placeholders. I've done my best to clearly mark when something is a placeholder, so if you see something missing that doesn't explicitly say it's a placeholder or it isn't specifically mentioned in the Known Bugs textfile or in a post on this thread, then assume it's something I need to know about. -There's still a fair amount of balance and progression tweaking to be done, and all feedback in that regard is valuable -The game will explicitly tell you when you get to the end of the build, so if you get stuck before that, that's something I need to address -Be sure to stagger your save files (have multiple saves instead of saving in the same slot every time) in case you encounter a game-breaking bug. -Before running the game, make sure to go to this page and run the file that downloads from it. It's a pack of the default resources that come with RPG Maker XP, and the game uses a lot of the tilesets from it. Controls are Space to confirm/interact, X to cancel/open menu, and arrow keys to move. If you want to customize those controls or use a gamepad, launch the game and press F1 to open the controls/options menu. Game download (updated 10/18/19, found a bug that needed fixing)
  7. This past month has been the most productive by a mile. A nice new tradition I'm starting up is putting up 2 Patreon updates a month now. One at the beginning of the month and one at the end. These posts are getting super meaty and full of news now, so the separation gives some breathing room to the avalanche of content to talk about. This month's posts are about finally finding a programmer to help me exponentially speed up development. We got a lot done in just the past 30 days and now the prototype phase is at least 50% complete. See the full Patreon Exclusive posts here! Otherwise come back in a month for some big news. Because now that we have momentum going, a new demo you can play will be here before you know it. Or for now, come checkout a quick summary of October's progress on the Yotes Blog.
  8. Let’s play would you rather! now I’m sure most of you ponies are familiar with the game, but if by some act of God that you don’t know then I’ll run a refresher course! 10. This is Ponyvania: Order of Equestria. (a pun on Order of Ecclessia) If you've played Castlevania games, you know what to expect. (NOTE: I've only played to Symphony of the Night.) This game was started around season 2 or 3, and involves Discord's seal starting to come loose. As a player created pony, you have to find the Elements of Harmony before he is released. (You can choose a mane 6 preset too.) Everyone has HP and MP and stats, equipable weapons and armor, as well as experience for levelling your character, like Symphony of the Night. You can pick from an Earth, Pegasus, or Unicorn pony, all three have their own benefits and features. Earth ponies play most like Castlevania. You get the whip, and the special moves are all modelled after real Castlevania items like the boomerang and holy fire, made into dragon fire here. Their forte is in the main weapon, the skills are secondary. Earth pony specific abilities include an uhppercut punch move, guarding, and a stomp move. Pegasi are focused on mobility, flight, and weather moves, lightning and wind elemental. They primarily use spear weapons, and their weapon and skill usage is meant to be pretty even. Pegasus abilities include flight, a dashing attack, being able to attack while walking, and the back dash move from Symphony of the Night. Unicorns use their skills primarily, and their weapon as a second resort. You can use it, but it's not optimal. They use all different elemental magic. Fire, Ice, Rock, Light, and Dark. Unicorn specific abilites include teleportation, using telekinesis to hit with weapons instead of holding them, and a move called Illusion. I read months ago, I don't know if this is an idea or something they put in, but they talked about playing as a filly, bat pony, or alicorn, with play styles of other characters from the Castlevania games. Maybe it's an unlock? After the first stage, filthy Rich appears as a shop owner, where you can buy weapons, armor, items, and skills, which more become available as you beat more levels. There are three difficulty modes, and I picked medium, cause I want to have that Castlevania toughness, but not in a super intense level. I may try a super hard mode at some point, fitting playing as Lightning Dust, cause she likes it ball to the wall hard like on the Dizzytron. Here's examples of who I'm playing as. I'm primarily playing as a Pegasus, specifically my pony-self, and this is the type of pony I seem to be best at in this game. Flying above boss projectiles isn't too shabby either. As a Unicorn, I made Stygian, and I'm keeping this equipable cloak for him because that's what he wears, and omg it's really him, just look! As a Earth Pony I just picked the AJ preset. The bosses are all well programmed, the stages are real good, and it has that Castlevania feel and toughness to it. I've only gotten to stage 5 so far, getting close to beating the game, but it's cool to play as all three pony types with their own play styles. (and apparently I'm not as fit to be a unicorn as much as a pegasus, cause I have the most trouble with that one. Blame the being dependant on MP, which at least can recharge. Be warned: It seems in some stages there are things that if you take or don't take certain actions, it won't be good news for some characters. For instance: If I learn how to hack the game save files, I may make a Daring Do but give her the whip, since that's Earth Pony specific. Or maybe I could make a Tempest and rely on strength and not use magic. Have you played it? Be sure to put spoilers in spoiler tags.

  13. Loosely inspired by the "Bi, Straight, Gay, Lesbian, or Pan Pizza" topic. Here's how it goes: Post an image of a character from wherever; doesn't matter if they're from a video game, live action film, anime, or whatever. The next poster says whether or not they find the character image from the above post attractive and then also posts an image. Optionally: You can say WHY the above character is attractive to you, how attractive they are, et cetera. If this sounds superficial... It's because it is. It's a forum game; they're all superficial. I'll start because I have to (and because we've been watching Sailor Moon Crystal): ^ Ami Mizuno / Sailor Mercury
  14. Hello everypony, I just started playing My Little Pony: Magic Princess. It was a good start, I mean I found Derpy two times now and I got Twilight Sparkle, Bon Bon, Pinkie Pie, Flim (or Flam?), Carrot Cake, Cupcake, Fluttershy, and Pipsqueak, Big Mac, oh and Fluttershy is SO ADORABLE! I've already earned so many elements of harmony and bits so far, as well as the rubies (or gems?), I've already visited Sweet Apple Acres, and the Everfree Forest. And guess what? I'm now addicted to that game! I just wish I could get Spitfire, Soarin', Rainbow Dash and Fleetfoot. I also want to get Radiant Hope as well, she's so majestic. Bye, Bye Everypony, gotta help Mr.Rhyme do his job.
  15. This is a fan-made project, that is not associated with Hasbro, Inc. in any way. This is a non-profit project and the developer will never make any money in any way from it. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is the property of Hasbro, Inc.. This is a fanmade Local Multiplayer Ponified Kid-Friendly Turn Based RPG based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic TV series. A unicorn pony, Twilight Sparkle receives a very important mission from Princess Celestia, the ruler of the magical land of Equestria. With their new friends, they'll go on adventures and solve various problems. Note: Everything may change along with development progress. ♥ PONIES! Discover the Magic of Friendship! ♥ Story and events heavily based on the TV series What happened in the show, will happen in the game along with RPG elements and additional plot. However, as the show can spoil the game, the game can spoil the show. ♥ Local Multiplayer (up to 2 players) Discovering the Magic of Friendship with a real friend or siblings will be better, than doing that alone! Explore Equestria, solve puzzles and fight together! ♥ Energetic Battle System As everything will be based on hit-boxes, each skill will have different usage. Every single projectile appearing on the screen will be a physical object, rather than just a part of animation. Some skills may also have interaction involved, like timed action, chain of buttons or simple button mashing when casting powerful abilities such as Twilight's Magic Nova. ♥ Each pony has a set of unique skills As each pony is different as the night is from the day, their abilities and specialties are different as well! ♥ Skill Tree Each pony will have a different path. Gain experience to improve or learn new abilities. ♥ Skill Assign System Each pony can assign 8 abilities, either active or passive. A good combination of active and passive skills may give decent (even unexpected) results. ♥ Resource gathering and crafting Collect materials to craft equipment; Combine equip-able gems to get better-quality ones; Collect herbs and plants to allow Zecora brew potions. ♥ Minigames and Puzzles Various minigames and solving puzzles to keep the boredom away! ♥ More PONIES! ... Note: Everything may change along with development progress. Each pony will have a Primary Set of Skills and Passives, some of them will also have a Secondary Set. List of Skill Categories: Legend: [ICON] Name of Category | Set | What resources the category focuses on Passives | Special | --- Each pony will be able to bring 8 skills in total to battle, so either an active or a passive skill can be equipped in these slots. Equipping Passives will simply raise pony's parameters or add special features like additional projectiles when attacking etc. at cost of a skill slot. A well thought combination of these skills can give decent results. Everypony will have Passives. Now let's talk about unique skill sets for each pony. Magic | Primary | MP/EP Twilight will have various spells, starting from simple telekinesis that will deal light damage by throwing various objects -> through magic projectiles that will deal magical damage -> to powerful Area of Effect Spells, that at high MP and EP cost, will bring some destruction to the battle field. Skills | Primary | EP Rainbow Dash will be able to use her wings to perform various tricks to deal more physical damage. Weather | Secondary | MP/EP Rainbow Dash will also be able to control weather to deal elemental damage as well as Area of Effect. Partying | Primary | MP/EP Pinkie Pie will always find an occasion to throw a party and battling with enemies is not an exception for her! She and her Party Cannon will show enemies how to party by dealing physical or magical damage. Blow up everything and party on! Songs | Secondary | MP/EP Besides partying, Pinkie Pie also loves to sing! As she sings songs during their adventure, she will learn to sing them in battle as well to raise parameters of ponies and more! Skills | Primary | EP Applejack is a strong farmer and she will show who has the power by dealing high physical damage or using her lasso to stun enemies. YEEHAWs | Secondary | MP/EP Applejack is an active pony and she will be showing her energy by motivating her friends and raising their strengths. Magic | Primary | MP/EP Rarity loves shiny gems. Besides using them for her creations, she also uses them as a weapon by dealing physical or elemental damage. Get ready for rains of shiny projectiles. FABULOUS! She can also use bigger gems to defend her friends. Animals | Primary | MP/EP Let's be honest, Fluttershy wouldn't even harm a fly and even if a situation requires that, she will have troubles with defending herself. However, her beloved animals will cover her! She will be able to call various animals to deal physical or magical damage. Calling a bear will cause some troubles to enemies! Support | Secondary | MP Nopony is as kind and caring as Fluttershy. She will do her best to help her friends in need by recovering their strength and protecting them. 16. Lets play a drawing game. You have to draw whatever the person above you wants you to draw. Drawings can be anywhere from a 5 minute doodle on Paint to an actual good drawing. The request can be simple or more complex (but not so complex that it will take them a long time to draw!) Heres an example. Person A: *picture of fluttershy.* The person under me has to draw a changling. Person B: *picture of a changling* The person under me has to draw Rainbow Dash with a ponytail. Person C: *picture of Rainbow Dash with a ponytail* The person under me has to draw a parrot. And so on. Soooo.... The person under me has to draw a pony made of cheese.
  17. I remember this game from on another forum website. Upload a picture of your favourite pet and the next user to post gives you pet a score out of 5(5=super cute, 4=cute, 3=okay, 2=not cute, 1=not at all cute) then uploads a picture of their pet the game continues This is my cat Yui sleeping while I study
  18. Heres the deal… As a fun way to say thank you to this awesome community.I have come up with something I think will be kinda fun to do! So as you all may know, I have a saltwater reef tank..thats never been named and is about to get a huge facelift, in-fact phase 1 starts this Friday.. Anyway, heres where you all come in, I want you guys to come up with a name for it, as it will now be the community tank! Heres how this works… you guys come up with names, submit them in the comments and i’ll add them to the list, then after I get enough, I'll let you all vote. Now the fun part! The winning name will be engraved on a glass plaque and added to the tank which will be in all the upcoming videos I've been asked to make for it. Now the one who comes up with the winning name will get a commission of there OC done by @Trix or Treat?, paid for by me, and ill also be making a donation to the Gallery of Goodwill. Just a small way I wanted to say thank you to you all. Official name is Aquastria!!
  19. Which Pokemon game is your favorite? Why? My favorites are Pokemon White and Pokemon Black 2. I felt that these games had a fun and memorable playthrough. The games could have been a bit longer, but I loved pretty much everything about them.

  21. Hello, folks! After careful consideration, I've decided to start this special blog specifically for the purpose of following Maradice Isle's ongoing development! The game's come quite a ways since it all began, but it's still got a LOOOOOONG way to go! Here's to hoping we can have it done before 2021 arrives! But with an RPG of this scale... that's pretty unlikely. Anywho, before I go off on a tangent, I would like to detail some of the things that have been accomplished with the game recently. There's a lot to cover here, so settle in. ** 1. UPDATED MENUS ** A lot of changes have been made to how the menus handle. The one change you'll notice right off the bat is that the option to quit the game was replaced with a new "OPTIONS" menu. This is something that doesn't come naturally with RPG Maker VX Ace, so scripts had to be used to get this to work. The options menu handles pretty much how you'd expect: You can adjust the window color, change the music, background sounds, or sound effect volume levels, and even turn on "Auto-Dash", eliminating the need to hold down the run button to move quicker. Also, an option to have text boxes load instantly, or one letter at a time, as well as an option to skip battle animations during battle is in there, too, for those who want to speed up the game during those grind-heavy moments. Another change that was made was changing how character equipment handles. Not only has the equipment menu been changed completely, there are now TWO extra equipment slots. One for another accessory, and one dedicated to Power Orbs, special collectables that grant you new abilities when you find them across Equestria. These alone will encourage you to explore every nook and cranny to try and get all 56 ( 8 for each of the 7 classes ). Speaking of Power Orbs... ** 2. POWER ORBS & SUMMONS ** The Seven Seers had access to vast amounts of power thanks to the 56 Power Orbs they all carried during their adventures 5,000 years ago. However, when the big battle with Strange Tidings occurred, the Orbs got misplaced and eventually wound up in what would become Equestria, going into hibernation. With the arrival of the four player characters, and thanks in part to the Seers Awakening Call, the Orbs, and the Essences that live within them, are beginning to awaken again, and now it's up to the player, should they choose to do so, to explore all across the kingdom and find the 56 Power Orbs. And believe me, you WANT to go out of your way to find these babies! Each time you get one, you can equip it to one of your characters to give them some minor stat bonuses. But in addition to that, every time you find a Power Orb, you'll unlock a new "Summon" to add to your characters list of attacks. In addition to this, collecting a specific amount of Power Orbs ( for example, 1 Frost and 1 Ember ) will unlock some Special Summons of increased power. All of this is activated by using the "SP" meter, making it useful for more then just activating Ultimate's when it's full. Some Power Orb abilities inflict status conditions on the enemy, some can restore MP to the party when used. And there's even a couple that allow you to almost completely resist the damage dealt to the party on that turn! So for those of you playing along at home, FIND THOSE POWER ORBS!! You'll be kicking yourself later if you don't. Here's a little party favor for you: The moment you enter the main overworld of Equestria ( after leaving the San Palomino Desert ), you'll be stopped by the first Frost Power Orb, Frostbite, who's Essence will proceed to show you the ropes on how to use Power Orbs properly. So in case your worried that you'll be struggling to figure out how they work, worry not, because that's not the case here. And if you already do know how to handle them, there is an option to skip this tutorial. Those of you who need a refresher course on Power Orbs later down the road can always refer to the Playing Manual in the Key Items tab. Aren't you glad you got that thing at the start of the game? Oh, and for those of you with short-term memory issues, which I assume would be a fair amount of you, you can check out what Orb's you've found in the "Power Orbs" tab of the items menu. ** 3. THE FIRST SHRINE ** Somewhere in the San Palomino Desert, you will come across the first of the seven shrine's that will be in the game. These shrines offer up unique equipment when you complete them, but be forewarned: They are not for the faint of heart. Everytime you find a shrine, you'll likely be met with the following: Unique monsters not seen elsewhere in the game. Multiple trials to complete in order to reach the end. A Guardian that will challenge you to a VERY intense fight for possession of the shrine's treasure. Upon entering a Shrine and approaching the huge door that bars access to the central chamber, you'll notice a sign on the wall that reads as following: "If you do not wish to die here, your objective is quite clear. In order to secure this treasure's might, make each orb shine with a brilliant light. Take note, brave one, for though you are strong, you'll soon regret it if your answers are WRONG." Branching off the main hub of each shrine, you'll find four rooms, each containing a trial. Some will challenge your knowledge of the Seven Seers and their stories, while others will simply be gauntlets of enemies you must defeat to progress. One of my favorite ones is where your guiding a power sphere past red orbs to the other end of the room. It's certainly quite entertaining. And those who REALLY like this mechanic can look forward to getting to Ponyville, since there will be an arcade machine somewhere where you can play this little mini-game again. However, as the warning above might imply, some of these trials don't take kindly to incorrect answers. If you get the answer to some of these challenges wrong, you'll have to fight a battle in order to try again. And at lower levels, the enemies you'll face might just mop the floor with your tails. As you complete a shrine's trials, four orbs on either side of the large door in the main hub will light up. When all four have been lit, the door will open, and you'll be granted access to the final chamber, where the shrine Guardian awaits... In this first shrine, the Guardian just so happens to be a Tatzlwurm, armed with Equality spells that will keep you on your hooftips for the entire battle. These spells include, but are NOT limited too: Power Blade: Boosts the bosses attack power, allowing him to hit you even harder. Sandstorm: Deals damage to the entire party, on top of having a chance to blind them, wrecking havoc on their accuracy with physical attacks. This ability can throw the battle into even further chaos. Tower Shield: Technically a Frost spell, but the boss can use this to boost his defense. Mystery Ponies armed with "Force Opening" can easily carve through his defenses. Yeah, this guy's not exactly a picnic. On top of this, he actually gets STRONGER the more shrine's you've cleared. So for example, if this is the first shrine you've ever tackled, then his HP is only 2,900, and his attack power is pretty moderate. He can still be trouble, but he's manageable if you play it right. HOWEVER, if you waited until the very end to tackle this shrine, and you've finished all the other ones, this guys HP gets cranked up to a ridiculous 27,000, and his attack power is almost x7 what it was before, and all of a sudden, you've got a VERY intense fight on your hands! Add on the fact that he'll be granted more power Equality spells once I've programmed them in, and you will definitely need to bring your A-game in order to come out alive! All these stat values are subject to change in the future, but it goes without saying: Shrine Guardians get more powerful the more shrine's you've cleared. So before you go marching into that shrine you just found, try tor remember just how many shrine's you've already done, and consider the possibility that you may need to level up a little more before you can tackle that next one. So, what kind of loot are we talking about here? Well, aside from the few treasure chests you'll find scattered around the shrine as you explore it, there's also the items the boss might drop, which include stat-boosting items. But it's the treasure they were guarding that we're all here for. These unique items grant extra-powerful benefits to the player when equipped. One of these items enables dual-wielding of 2H weapons, allowing your Ember Ponies to do some serious damage with their physical attacks! One doubles magic damage power, but cuts physical attack power in half, which would work great on a Thunder Pony! But perhaps the best one out of them all: THE GOLDEN CHALICE, which eliminates random encounters altogether when equipped! It's unknown which shrine this beauty will be put in, but it's a safe bet that most players will skip over all the other shrines and go for this one first, because who doesn't want to be able to explore the world without random encounters getting in the way? GRANTED, it won't save you from Monster-In-A-Box's, or from boss fights, and whoever is holding it can't use the "FIGHT" command, but it's still the best one out of the bunch. ( Here's a little tip: Those of you who have beaten the demo version of the game can get the Golden Chalice right away by inputting the special code that was given at the end of the demo. ) ** 4. IN CONCLUSION ** Obviously, A LOT has been going on with the game lately. But now that the story has moved into Equestria, it's becoming more and more important that volunteers are brought in to help assist with creating the tilesets needed to bring these locations to life. If you've experience with sprite design and think your up to the task, please join the official development Discord server for the project. Invite code is right here: "VabKgSC". Please note that you must be placed under one of the actual "Roles" within the server in order to see and post messages, so if you see nothing when you join in for the first time, do not be surprised. This was done to keep the "UNDESIRABLES" out of the chat. Hope this blog post has helped to shed some light on what's been going on with the games development. Hope to see you again soon!
  22. [potentially related to: ] So, pretty sure I'm in the right place: I am on the lookout for an RPG Maker sprite set of the Mane 6, various background ponies (and/or a generator for use in RPG Maker). This may be a bit of an out-of-the-ordinary request, but I haven't been able to find a decent sprite set for ponies (that is being offered by the actual creator, at any rate). If you have info on an artist who does game visuals / pixel art, I'd be interested in their site / contact info, or if you know of a generator which is already primed for RPG Maker. Thanks in advance for reading
  23. Thanks to the work of our wonderful volunteers, the demo of Maradice Isle has JUST GONE LIVE!! If you wish to download the game and enjoy it up to the end of the prologue, you may do so here ( Don't worry; We checked and triple-checked it for viruses. It's clean ): https://mega.nz/#!CJRGWChD!U2MSQO-tD5JRSA6a3Qsza6_CSXAj8HTV-QyaaEcmhTM Truly, if it wasn't for the amazing volunteers we found here on this site, this would have never come to be. And while the game does have a long road ahead until it's completed, we'll stand strong and see it through to the end, if for no other reason then so the game can not only serve as an excellent story of one young mares journey to save her island home from an evil she has no hopes of comprehending, but also as a nostalgic love letter to long-time fans of MLP: FiM, and one final hurrah to Generation 4 of MLP. Sadly, I cannot guarantee you all of the features promised in my earlier forum posts about the game, mainly because they're simply impossible to implement into RPG Maker VX Ace. But rest assured, we will be thinking up unique and creatives ways to compensate for this lack of promised features! We still need more volunteers to help us with the tilesets ( now that the project is moving onto Equestria ) and the character sprites, so if you think you've got what it takes, and are familiar with RPG Maker VX Ace and how it operates, please feel free to join our development Discord server to stay up to date on everything that's going on with the project! Or even if your not, feel free to join in with us anyway as a supporter. We could always use more friends to talk to and to pitch around ideas as development continues! Once again, thanks a lot for making this happen, and I myself will see you back here real soon for the full release of the game! *** NOTICE FROM BULLDOZER STUDIOS: While not exactly featured in the current demo release, this game is heavily story-driven, and will feature a unique storyline unlike anything you've ever seen in an MLP game before! Therefor, we firmly request/demand that all spoilers to the games plot be kept to a minimum, so as not to ruin the experience for those who have not played the game yet.
  24. No one I know IRL seems to really care about them, but personally I love them. So I was wondering: Are any of you into board games? If so, which ones do you like? Here's some of the ones I'm into (in no particular order): 1. Tsuro 2. Forbidden Desert 3. Jaipur 4. Robinson Crusoe Adventures on the Cursed Island 5. YINSH 6. Cosmic Encounter 7. Uno (of course) 8. Summoner Wars 9. Gin Rummy (game played with a standard deck of cards) 10. Klondike (a type of solitaire) Additionally, out of curiosity, do any of you happen to have Tabletop Simulator? It's a wonderful platform for online board gaming.
