  4. Was a special time back then to do that! With HDR i have a feeling they are learning that mistake that HDMI did with lack of colour variation! 4K TVs seems to do what new technology and doing best of old technology!
  5. Need a Pokémon to help complete your dex in Sword or Shield? Great! Use this form: What I want: (One or more) What I can give: Specifics: (Shiny, certain IVs, etc.) If someone agrees, share a code!
  6. My most memorable video game music are: Sonic Gems Collection - Games Menu and Luigi's Mansion - Credits
  7. Several competitive Smash players have verified these claims.
  8. 20 years ago on November 20, Banjo-Tooie was released.
  9. Just when I thought Super Mario 35 anniversary news was going to be the high point of good news in 2020, this was announced earlier today. I am very excited about this game but what are your guys thoughts on it?
  10. I still have a wii, and I still enjoy it very much. I would consider the wii one of my favorite consoles ever made. Though I also enhoy Xbox and will be getting an Xbox one S next month.
  11. What was your first video game you ever played, my first video game was Pokemon Black 2.
  12. Tell everyone about your computer (or computers, if you use more than one)! What model is it and what OS does it run? Myself, I work from two laptops: an HP Pavilion dv6-3170ca for school, and an HP EliteBook 8740w for home (mostly) - both run Windows 7 x64. Here's the smaller one: Specs: Intel i5 2.2 GHz Dual Core w/ Hyper-Threading (up to 2.8 GHz w/ TurboBoost) integrated graphics 4 GB DDR3 RAM 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive 15" glossy screen (1366x768x24) fingerprint reader Blu-ray drive (read-only) And the larger: Specs: Intel i7 1.7 GHz Quad Core w/ Hyper-Threading (up to 3.06 GHz w/ TurboBoost) NVIDIA Quadro 5000M GPU w/ 2 GB GDDR5 VRAM 8 GB DDR3 RAM (high speed - 1333 MHz!) 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive 17" 1.07 billion-colour matte screen (1920x1200x30) fingerprint reader backlit, spillproof keyboard Both are beautiful computers and serve me really well. I use the dv6 for school because it wasn't a very expensive computer and has great battery life, and the EliteBook is my awesome gaming/do-it-all machine.
  13. Do you consider yourself a hardcore gamer, or just a casual gamer?
  14. To all MTG players of the Format EDH either be on group or on 1v1 players, got my deck finished and I wanna try it out throughout spelltable and to just play, those interested write down here or PM if you wanna try out your deck or dust off your deck.
  15. So how is it? I never played it yet. I did play Freelancer, a great game, and Freespace 2, though. Also, the Colony Wars series on PS1, which was admittingly pretty...mixed, and Aquanox 2, which definitively plays like a space-shooter (impossible to play without enabling the minimum auto aim, though). My assumption is it has the freedom of Freelancer, and combat being more like FS2.
  16. For those of you who don't know, especially Steam gives away TONS of titles for free in order for making it more comfortable for people to stay home. I will update here regularly. -> Sale ends 4/2/2020 at 5:00 PM I also posted these before:
  17. Larry Koopa Morton Koopa Jr. Wendy O. Koopa Iggy Koopa Roy Koopa Lemmy Koopa Ludwig von Koop
  18. How many hours have you invested in your most played games? Here are my numbers. PC Call of Duty Black Ops II: Total 960 hours (Campaign: 33 hours, Multiplayer: 671 hours, Zombies: 256 hours) Call of Duty Black Ops: Total 381 hours (Campaign and Zombies: 254 hours, Multiplayer: 127 hours) Europa Universalis IV: 320 hours Battlefield 4: 283 hours Minecraft: ??? (I expect over 500 hours)
  19. As far as I am aware, Flash will be dead by this year (though I thought it already died) but there are several thousands of games that have been saved by large scale preservation efforts. Did you play many Flash games? What are some of your memories of them? Some particular favorite games? There are several I could mention (and many I most likely forgotten), but among the most ambitious Flash games I played was Super Mario 63. It is something like a 2D version of Super Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy. The variety of actions Mario could do matched his official 3D counterpart, I remember the levels being well-designed, and it was a fairly lengthy game; I consider it extremely generous that this game is available for free because it would be well-worth buying. It also included a custom level design mode where the levels can be shared with others which was a nice bonus feature.
  20. So, we are less than a week from the launch of the next gen consoles. Has any one pre-ordered one of them(or both) or planning to buy one this year? Maybe I should say try to buy one because it looks like you might be out of luck if you haven’t already pre-ordered one. Or maybe you are planning to wait until next year?
  21. There is a similar topic about worst games in your favorite gaming series and I haven't found one for best so I thought why not make one for best. Mario: Super Mario Brothers 3, it took all the great things about Super Mario Bros and improved upon the formula that formed the standard for the series. Zelda: Tie between Ocarina of Time, A Link To The Past and Skyward Sword. A Link To The Past is everything Zelda I is only better, Ocarina of Time was a very successful transition for the series into 3D by honoring what makes the series great while keeping everything fresh and exciting. I normally don't like motion control very much but they work quite well in Skyward Sword and along with great graphics and an engaging story make for one of the best games of the previous console generation and worthy addition to a great series. Sonic: Sonic and Knuckles, it continued the awesome gameplay of the first few games and introduced my favorite character of the series.
  22. I still kinda play it but stopped because mlp is better. Lol
  23. Turn off your internet and click the dinosaur! Whats your high score?
  24. We all like certain games for a number of reasons, but some of them probably have certain flaws you don't like. If you could have these games re-released with all these issues fixed, what games would they be? It doesn't matter how old they are. Gonna start this with.... 1. Anarchy Reigns- I love arena-fighters, and I really thought there was no way this could possibly disappoint me. I was terribly wrong. Whose idea was it at Platinum to include a block function? Because when you went online, that's all anybody ever fucking did. I'm not joking. They'd just stand still and block, so that they could wear you down and attack as soon as you turned your back to them. I rarely ever got more than one kill in any online match. That's how badly the game favored defense. If you tried being aggressive towards anybody who wasn't facing you, you got your ass kicked. The online co-op modes were fun, but that's really the only thing that made it worth playing. And I'll never understand why Platinum didn't try to improve the game by just releasing a patch that removed blocking altogether? Because what's the point in moving around in full 3D environments if you're not even free to attack? Blocking has no place in this kind of game. 2. Alien vs. Predator (2010)- This game felt perfect on my first playthrough. The single-player campaign did a good job at getting you accustomed to the mechanics, maps, and weapons. But all that went to shit with the online play. And not even for any inherent flaws in the gameplay, but the matchmaking. Of ALL things. I couldn't open a Mixed Species Deathmatch lobby without getting messages from assholes telling me to start the match. And even if I actually got to start the match with all 18 slots filled, people would gradually drop out of the game, and I wouldn't know it until it was just down to me and one other guy, and I'd be running in circles trying to find somebody to kill. Not fun. I don't know how Rebellion could have mitigated this problem. I just know that people don't have to put up with this crap in other FPSs that are still played competitively. A different lobby system perhaps? 3. WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game- It's a good thing this game never had a tournament following, because I would have gone to each event, picked Doink and STOLE all that fucking prize money. Getting to play famous pro-wrestlers in an environment where they had special powers was such a novelty concept, but it got bogged down by shoddy execution. Or should I say lack thereof? The special moves, while varied enough, just weren't tested very well. I've never seen anything more OP in a game than Doink's hammer or Lex Luger's mace. If you got hit by either of those, you weren't getting back up. If I was feeling generous, I could throw somebody outside the ring just so they could last a bit longer. That is, until I threw them against the side of the ring and, before they could recover from hitstun, I'd kill them by repeatedly ramming my knee up their ass in an unending juggle combo. I found a ton of glitches in the Genesis version too, and sure enough, they were present in the arcade version. Not the least of which was running backwards for no reason. And I was only ten years old when I discovered all this shit. It was ridiculous. I don't care for Mortal Kombat anymore, but I know that Midway/NRS took their time making sure that MK2 and Ultimate MK3 weren't riddled with game-breaking glitches, and horrible balancing in the cast. People are still playing them in tournaments to this day. So why couldn't the devs put the same care into Wrestlemania?
  25. I'm wondering if anyone here has played any of the Watch Dogs video games before. The latest game of the franchise is "Watch Dogs: Legion", which was just released a few days ago, so I'm wondering if anyone has played that as well. As for me, I've played Watch Dogs 2 and Watch Dogs: Legion. I enjoy those games, especially Watch Dogs: Legion!
