  1. I am honestly surprised this didn't happen sooner considering that the Switch has been dominating everything but this is a sad day for me. Nintendo has officially ended production on 3DS units. The 3DS is one of my favorite systems of all time and I have wonderful memories with that little unit. Did any of you own a 3DS or 2DS as well? If so, what was your first system in the lineup? What was some of your favorite aspects of the system? Favorite games? Let's discuss good memories of the 3DS system. This was my first 3DS, the XL. I remember it so vividly. It was summer of 2013. Animal Crossing New Leaf had just launched. I wanted to play it so badly but I never owned a 3DS. So I find a great deal on a used unit and I sold my Vita to get it. In the end I am very glad that I did. The next day I downloaded New Leaf and I adored it. I would ocntinue to get more games after that of course Possibly my favorite overall aspect of the system was the UI. For my money, Nintendo has always been the master of making wonder UI's for their systems, starting with the Wii. The 3DS was certainly no different in this regard. The UI is pleasant to look at and has wonderful, relaxing music to accompany it. It is very clean and organized perfectly. That's not even considering the countless themes they made for the UI! Those were a wonderful addition as well. Another great part of the UI was the eShop. The eShop has been my favorite storefront in gaming for a while and that's simply because of the charm and the wonderful music. Hearing one particular track now floods my mind with memories. The Nintendo DS compatibility was also very nice to have. Some of my favorite games: Animal Crossing New Leaf, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Retro City Rampage, Ocarina of Time 3D, and countless Virtual Console games.
  2. Share your opinions that could shatter the earth with it's controversial-ness. I for one think that Bethesda should make Fallout their flagship series rather than Elder Scrolls. I find TES's world too generic and Tolkien-like. While Fallout's is a nuclear wasteland stuck in the 1950's, full of quirky people and an overly cheerful tone. Now share yours, rustle mah jimmies!
  3. I knew it's been a week since the announcement but I wanted to make a topic where we can discuss the stuff featured in Super Mario 35th anniversary. What upcoming stuff in this video are you looking forward to? Do you have any fond memories of playing these games in the past? What do you think of the new ideas like Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit and the special Super Mario 35 Vs. as I call that one where you play against 34 other players? How about some of the Mario themed merchandise that'll be coming out, or Mario themed items coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons Don't forget to check out Eren's topic on Super Mario 3D World+ coming next year
  4. Just when I thought Super Mario 35 anniversary news was going to be the high point of good news in 2020, this was announced earlier today. I am very excited about this game but what are your guys thoughts on it?
  5. I just find it boring, unfunny and the characters have no personality.
  6. I go back into the 90s so the first game i ever played was sonic 3 for Sega genesis at the time i loved that game looking back now its a little meh cuz i played it a thousand times lol
  7. So I've been playing so much BF3 lately and I'm absolutely in love with the game. It's more of a team/squad working together game other than eliminating enemies straight away in some FPS games I played. So I just wanted to ask the community that if you played FPS games before, which one would you consider the best or favorite in your favor/opinion? (Of course my choice is BF3) For those who don't know- FPS- first person shooter (in this case) BF3- Battlefield 3
  8. For me, it was Skyward Sword. What about you guys?
  9. Video games, I'm pretty sure everyone that's reading this has played at least one video game in their lifetime, but the big question is...What are your favourite video games of all time? My all-time favourite video game is The Last Of Us because it truly is a masterpiece!
  10. Tell everyone about your computer (or computers, if you use more than one)! What model is it and what OS does it run? Myself, I work from two laptops: an HP Pavilion dv6-3170ca for school, and an HP EliteBook 8740w for home (mostly) - both run Windows 7 x64. Here's the smaller one: Specs: Intel i5 2.2 GHz Dual Core w/ Hyper-Threading (up to 2.8 GHz w/ TurboBoost) integrated graphics 4 GB DDR3 RAM 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive 15" glossy screen (1366x768x24) fingerprint reader Blu-ray drive (read-only) And the larger: Specs: Intel i7 1.7 GHz Quad Core w/ Hyper-Threading (up to 3.06 GHz w/ TurboBoost) NVIDIA Quadro 5000M GPU w/ 2 GB GDDR5 VRAM 8 GB DDR3 RAM (high speed - 1333 MHz!) 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive 17" 1.07 billion-colour matte screen (1920x1200x30) fingerprint reader backlit, spillproof keyboard Both are beautiful computers and serve me really well. I use the dv6 for school because it wasn't a very expensive computer and has great battery life, and the EliteBook is my awesome gaming/do-it-all machine.
  11. This series is probably my second favorite video game series ever and I've played and loved every single game! My favorite of the series is Odyssey right now, but Brotherhood, Black Flag, Origins and III are also favorites of mine! All of the historic backgrounds helps make the series a lot more interesting too! And while it is fun to leap from a pyramid or tower and plummet onto the unlucky souls beneath you, getting to learn all about these unexplored time periods is very fascinating!
  12. Anyone playing Dauntless? For those who don't know it was developed by Phoenix Labs, and unfortunately launches through Epic Games' launcher. It's a free to play, pay to win(ish) Monster Hunter knock off, and it's pretty fun. Currently Dauntless is in beta, but is out on PC, PS4, XBone, and they're working on Switch. If you watched the Switch E3 presentation, you likely saw it. There are 6 different types of weapons, something like 30 types of monsters. I've been playing for a hot minute as I got in the alpha since I went to Pax South and saw the game in 2017. So far everyone seems okay, but that's because I keep voice chat off. Mostly because I don't want to reveal I'm not a dude.
  13. I’m just wondering if there are any call of duty bronies or clans that still play the good ones like modern warfare remastered , black ops 3 , WW2 , or MW3. :3
  14. You know those types of games. The ones that keep you up all night, and the moment you wake up, you want to continue playing. We all have had these types of games in our lives. I personally find games like these to be wonderful because they invoke a passion within people that makes them want to keep playing it and enjoying it. So we can now delve into this realm of non-stop gaming. What are some games, recent or not, that have made you addicted and wanting to keep playing? Way back when, when Call of Duty was still decent, Black Ops 2 was a game I played nearly non-stop after its release, hitting the highest rank in the game just a couple of months later. I really, really enjoyed that game despite its flaws. Dynasty Warriors 4 on the PS2 was another one that made me stay up late a lot.
  15. Now it's the new game from Animal Crossing series has arrived. Perhaps some of you people can discuss what your island is like once it's finished. Go ahead don't be shy. Update 3/21/20: New stuff I discovered in the game that could never be done in earlier games (never play Pocket camp so I might be mistaken) is inside this box. I covered them to prevent people from casually being spoiled Any further new discoveries that I believe are new to New Horizons shall be spoiled covered so that readers who want to discover for themselves Update 7/30/20 Attention, all NEW HORIZONS players. the ability to turn your Island into a dream and visit other people's dream island is now available to those who updated to the lastest version today. Once you receive a letter from Luna, hop into any bed. When you turn your Island into a Dream, you're given a dream address that's different Everytime you upload a new version. You can share your dream address here in this topic like you do with Dodo codes. As a courtesy to people, please use the spoiler button (the eye icon) from the editing tools
  16. Try from the below .the last of us .sunset overdrive .just cause 2 .other
  17. With all of the junk that some people spout about it (Overwatch players who claim it's a clone. It's nothing even close. It's like calling Call of Duty a Halo clone, pretty much...), I feel like some of you should at least know of it. Put this thread here because I think there should be at least somebody else on this forum that actually plays this game, and maybe it can be discussed here. I play it on steam, and in-game (I WILL change it to something much better and less nooby when I get the crystals... If only I didn't already spend some on the Infiltrator Pip body skin...) I'm xPurplexx. I mainly play Androxus, Grohk, and Makoa, though recently I've been playing some Ruckus, Mal'Damba, and Drogoz (So that way I can cover most possibilities on my team composition). I've also played a good bit of Pip and Kinessa.

  19. Here's some games that give me a ton of nostalgia playing them: - Donkey Kong Country Returns - Mario Kart Wii - Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine - Croc 1: Legend of the Gobbos - Croc 2 - Midtown Madness (Of course, they're all old games but I love them!)
  20. Just heard about this game the other day, but it's apparently gotten really popular. To give you an idea of what the game is like, it's a battle royale with Mario Party style minigames and Wipeout-style obstacle courses.
  21. As an Xbox fan, I am excited that they finally revealed it and the price of Series X. I am hoping there will be a presentation about it that goes into more detail about the system.
  22. Does anybody remember or ever heard of a series called Bakugan Battle Brawlers? Bakugan is a game where two players (or four players maximum) have three Bakugan, which are these small spheres that reveal a supposedly a monster inside whenever they land on a card mechanically by a magnetic mechanism for the toy to pop open. The rules of the game is pretty simple, a player must win 3 gate cards but to do that both players have to land on a card and earn points equal to their Bakugan. The series also had it's own animated spin-off based on the toyline. It lasted for a few years, then it got rebooted into becoming Bakugan Battle Planet with new rules and new gaming mechanics. To me, Bakugan was freaking awesome, and it still is. I still have the original toys and the cards. I'm still trying to get into Battle Planet, however I've only collected two Bakugan so far. To this day, Bakugan is by far one of my favorite toys to collect, in exception of the My Little Pony collectible cards and other merch. Some kids grew up with Pokemon and Yugioh but I'd say I grew up with Bakugan!
  23. So I heard of a new Pokemon game that has a puzzle and store building elements to it. It looks Adorable! What do you guys think?
  24. I personally don’t shiny hunt but I have come across 3 random shiny Pokémon in my play through of Shield version. Shiny Boldore (now evolved) Shiny Dewpider (now evolved) Shiny Toxel (now evolved)
