  1. So, I missed the conference, gonna say that first, I could watch it, but I am doing reading up on all the info and apparently, I don't need to watch it. The conference was apparently very short and uninspired, with little in terms of new announcements. Apparently paid mods are back though! That went totally well the last time they tried it and from what I hear, it soured the mood of the conference to the end, which is sad. There of course were some new announcements like Evil Within 2 and a new Wolfenstein, but that was it really. Everything else was kinda 'Look at all the cool stuff we did before!' which is a bit of a shame that Bethesda is still putting that at the forefront. There is nothing wrong with showing your achievements in the industry but when you open a show with that, to me, that isn't a good sign. So, discuss. What did you all think of Bethesda's 'sorta' E3 conference? I like the sound of a new Wolfenstein because I really enjoyed the Old Blood, haven't played New Order yet, which I should. That wasn't enough though to make me think that they did a good job, seems they did far from that.
  2. Depending on the Outcome (Box Office Wise), I could see a 2nd Theatrical Film coming out of this. However, if we were to be real here, I say the most realistic logical choice would be Direct to Video to release a sequel on. Now as far as a story goes, I could see a story were we "finally" could have a crossover between The Friendship is Magic Mane 6/7 and The Equestria Girls Mane 6/7, and find out the true connection between both worlds. I could also see a story were we get a "Passing of the Torch" , were the Mane 6 would have to seek out those that they believe Can carry on the Elements of Harmony from them, along with the Rainbow Power. I could also see a story were it Centers around the "Guardians of Harmony" line. And Finally, I could see a story were we get the "Return of Tirek", who by using some kind of magic along with the Generation's take on the Witches from the G1 film, helps resurrect The Storm King. And The Mane 6/7 have to come together with some new power bestowed upon them/or they have to unlock to try and stop this group of villains from destroying Equestria. But those are just my thoughts on how I feel a sequel could be released and my thoughts/ideas on what kind of story we could get out of it. But what about you, how do you think it could be released, and what kind of story do you think we could get as a result. And do you anyone agree my thoughts on the whole thing? Let me know down below. Thanks and God Bless -bwrosas

    Thoughts on 2017

Sorry, @Adam Burt for completely stealing this idea from you. I'll start with the few positives. POSITIVES My experiences with Paladins in general. It was actually a really good game until Hi-Rez killed it by making change after change that was unnecessary and backwards, through caving into the wants of their upper management. I played this game for months, and actually became one of the Top 100 Barik players (Based on KDA and Win Rate) in the world in that small span of time that I borderline one-tricked him. The game had quite a few sour moments with me, but for the most part it was actually positive. Introductions to Steven Universe, Star VS the Forces of Evil, and We Bare Bears. All of them are among my favorite cartoons of all time, all for their own reasons. Probably the best of the year. All three series in my opinion are very solid (though from what I've watched SvFE's 3rd season isn't looking too good...). My marathon of Star Trek. I already had an admiration for the franchise before I really got into it around the beginning of last year, but it was heightened. Quite frankly, most of the franchise is pretty solid with a few hiccups (including the entirety of Deep Space Nine... Luckily I only watched the "best" of that series)... I became a lot less naive about politics, and began to realize how despicable 99% of politicians really are. I realized how bad mainstream politics really is. I even found political voices of reason... on YOUTUBE of all places. Some actually good LoL changes for once (aside from Zoe, Ornn, Kleptomancy keystone)... NEGATIVES The rapid deterioration of my computer's condition. It really got beat up this year. It's so bad in fact I'm actually using my dad's computer instead. Before the beginning of this year, it ran so smoothly... Now it's basically potentially salvageable junk. Politics as usual, but even worse. Removing my ignorance came at a cost, I know. I realized how bad the political system of the United States has gotten over the past 50 years, but 2017 was worse than average. We have an incompetent man child with tiny hands in the White House (to be fair, Hillary would be no better), Net Neutrality is going away (even though only 9% of Americans actually AGREE with that, and I bet I know who they are), and not to mention the absolute absurdity of the Democratic Party's "resistance" (yeah right, it's not a resistance, you're literally voting FOR what he proposes most of the time...). Doesn't help with all of the mass shootings this year, bombings on innocent civilians, the worst military leak in US history... Losing my old account on here because of sheer laziness. The basically zero progress I made towards getting anywhere with my life. I've had to put up with so much s**t last year, it'd be enough for an entire DECADE. Seriously, I got attacked by an ENTIRE subreddit, a forum account (and my IP address also) perma-banned by an fascist Brazilian mod for literally no reason aside from the fact he didn't like what I had to say about things involving Paladins and his method of moderating, and having moronic teammates who I could swear were 2-year olds in half of my Paladins and League of Legends matches, the insane number of special snowflakes that suddenly presented themselves... That's just about the worst of it, but I could probably sit for days listing all of the stupidity I've had to endure even like that. Tried to commit suicide twice, because my situation got more hopeless by the month it seems like. RIP Big Ben. See you again in 4 years. Though it was a pretty nice meme for a little bit. Dealing with more of my Dad's inane drama than usual. To be quite frank I wish I didn't live here now. All of the special snowflakes In other words, it was, overall, a bad year for me. In fact, the worst I've ever had.

  8. Another year, another video game awards is soon upon us. Lot's of categories though we may not see all of them. These awards shows have arough history, often times coming off as juevenile and idiotic, when they should simply be a celebration of the industry. This was a superb year for gaming, despite the controversies. Lot's of great titles, the debut of the Switch and Xbox One X, and it is making for an exciting holiday season. So, who do you think will win? I have here a list of the awards and their nominees, we can take our guesses! It's not likely, but I would love to see Splatoon 2 win best multiplayer. It absolutely annihilates that outdated Call of Duty trash. It also seems like Nintendo will be destroying it this year with all of these nominations.
  9. So. . . I saw the new MLP Movie Trailer. I must say, it looks good. Other than a few continuity errors (which I thought was really nice of ACRacebest to point out), that new “Grubber” character (the one who looks like a Gen 4 Pokemon crossed with Stitch) + = Yeah, that one. He, and a lot of the other new characters, really don’t fit in Equestria. Perhaps it adds on to the whole new, “Creatures from beyond Equestria” (Which, if they do it, I hope to see the map of Equestria expanded. Also, what’s with Tempest’s horn problem? I really hope they don’t burn runtime with a 20 minute exposition talking about it. [I swear, if they pull another Starlight Glimmer and make a really underdeveloped villain motivation that could be fixed in a few mere minutes, I’m turning in.]) The trailer itself had a few “cringy” moments, but that’s kind of expected considering this is a movie for girls the age of 6 or something. But really, is it necessary to say, “Oh, I love pie” after an already juvenile intimidation? (Don’t forget the whole, “he just got dropped”. Seriously writers, you’re not winning any fans by giving the actors silly punch lines) That one really ticked me off a bit; and the other new character really didn’t have anything intellectual to say either. Uh . . . “The Storm King”, yeah, that was his name. He seemed kinda dumb in the trailer too. Wait. If Tempest is the leader, why is he the “King”? Why should he follower her orders? What makes him special? I guess I’ll have to wait and find out. No Celestia intervention in the trailer; we didn’t even get to see her. That makes me worried. On the positive side though, the new art style looked really nice! I’m rather fond of what they did with the place. The ponies are a bit more expressive with the exception of the mouth feeling stiff from time to time; but still, no real complaints here. I heard a bit of criticism from a friend (FRIENDS?) that was turned off by the “seapony” part. Personally, I’m not too bothered as it’s nothing new to the franchise. But if they don’t sing a song about being seaponies, I’m tapping out. There’s no way I’m going to sit through an hour and a half without a seapony song. The best moment of the trailer, for me, had to be the Starlight Glimmer cameo. I haven’t exactly been the biggest fan of the new pupil; but as time went on, I really came to “appreciate” (I saw some good artwork, okay?) [fluttershyblush]. But why was that the best part? Well, I’ll let the cover photo take care of that. On a side note, however, a lot of fans were wondering if she was going to be in the movie at all. While she may not play that big a part, it’s nice to see she’s still a part of the world even on a bigger screen. Nice to see Hasbro has taken a few notes after all. One thing that has kept me on my toes, however, is the new writer. Ever since the departure of M.A. Larson and Megan McCarthy, DHX and Hasbro have been juggling new writers (I’m so glad they took Josh Haber off the writer’s roster. Two good episodes doesn’t not make you Mark Twain.) As of now, there’re only a handful of good writers I really trust (Joanna Lewis, Kristine Songco, and the Fox Brothers). Regardless of my close-mindedness, this new writer seems competent and it looks as if he really cares about holding the franchise on his shoulders. Not to mention, giving a bit more “bite” to Tempest has already won me over to seeing the movie in theaters this October. It’s always nice to see the show stepping outside its boundaries (still won’t be better than S4 Finale. Although, I did get the same amount of chills during the MLP Movie trailers, so I think it’s fair to say they will be along the same level [assuming it’s actually a good movie]) My only complaint is that they used by far the crappiest 3D model to represent the Tempest’s aircraft. I mean, seriously? Is that the best you can do? It looks like a cardboard shoe with sails; something you’d find in a Nintendo DS game (dare I say late GBA?). I’m not the best 3D modeler, but if I can do better, there’s something wrong. I think the movie will be good; I’ll definitely bring the herd to see this one. Thanks for reading! -RealityPublishing (Sleeping with fantastical mares and writing underrated abominations since October 3rd, 2015.) Speaking of mares . . .

    A Few Mane Six Doodles.

I love to draw. Everyone here probably does. So how about an art army? Post any art(that follows the rules, duh) that you wish to post. First one is Pinkie! She's not my favorite, but I love drawing her. (I draw her with a more red color since it looks cuter to me in my opinion.) I drew this in a different program than I usually do(I usually draw in ms paint + paint.net.) Twilight Sparkle! My second favorite pony. I wanted to do a space type of thing with this. (I didn't draw the galaxy myself. I don't think I could do that. ) Finally, Rarity! This one was in a purple/blue-ish type of thing. (same with the galaxy, the image was from google. Type 'light purple and blue aesthetic' and you'll find it.)
  11. So, I play this game called Animal Jam(I'm gonna say AJ for short.) and they have an art program on it. Big shocker, though, it's really hard to use. But I decided to torture myself and actually use it. I actually was able to draw something with it. 1st one, the pink wolf. She's my main character on the game. This is the first art I made with this. 2nd one, the sheep. I drew that one after. I was experimenting with styles on this one. (The reason why it says mintieverse on it is because that's my user on there) 3rd one, the catbird thing. It's supposed to be a non-traditional version of a griffon, having more catlike features. Her name is Alair, which means happy. I interpret as something where she is never serious, always being lighthearted. There's a lot of mistakes, but AJ's art program is hard to use and has a terrible way of saving stuff.

  14. So. 2017 is here, and at the time I'm posting this, a lot remains to be seen about what will happen this year. Will it be an overwhelmingly progressive year perhaps? Maybe there'll be times in 2017 that'll bring about a lot of hardships. Or it could even just be a dull and uneventful year overall, I can't claim I know for sure what way it'll turn. But... regardless of how it goes, I think there's something that'll matter all the same- our mindsets. Don't get me wrong, having a positive mindset doesn't mean bad stuff won't happen, or that it won't matter. If you try your best and 2017 doesn't turn out to be your favourite year, then nothing wrong with that. But I think it's important all the same that one can see and appreciate the good that'll happen this year, for as much as 2016 was an unwelcome year for many, there was also a lot of bright shining acts of kindness and progress that had been discarded and forgotten. And that's kinda what this topic is for, I guess. I have no idea how 2017 is gonna go, but regardless of what it's like, I want to help make a difference perhaps and get some more of that positivity going at times when we might be missing it. So, what kinda stuff am I hoping for with this thread? Mostly stuff like this (not required to reply to don't worry- especially since some of these are intended for later in the year-, just suggestions x3): ~Things you're looking forward to this year ~Good news/acts that you've heard, seen, or even were a part of that took place this year ~Positive ways you're developing in 2017 ~Motivational words and such that feel relevant to this year to you ~Positive highlights of the year, be it a wonderful game, or a touching song; anything like that. I count these because I don't doubt their (sometimes inadvertent) power to bring a smile to people's faces, or to give them strength and inspiration at times when those are fleeting ... and possibly some other stuff too, if you can think of anything else that'd make sense for this topic. Obviously the year has only just started by the time I've posted this, but I'm impatient so sue me : D I guess to start things off; one of the main things I'm looking forward to this year is finally getting to move to my girlfriend! The change of scenery that'll come with that should be nice too, it'll do me good to see new places and push my comfort zone a bit further :3 And to an extent, I'm already spending a lot more time with my family recently than I tended to even two weeks ago, and it's a trend I hope I can stick to for as long as I'm still with them.
  15. 2016 has been such a good year for movies. Lots of amazing films and new achievements. The nominees for 2016 were recently announced: http://oscar.go.com/nominees Are you happy with the films nominated for each category? Which ones have you seen? Did you like them? What are your predictions for the winners? For me, I can't really say much. Since I don't live in USA, I get to see most stuff late. Big names like La La Land and Moonlight haven't even premiered here yet so I can't give my prediction. I will watch them as soon as they come out though. As for the other films I'll have to wait for a blu-ray release. I saw Arrival at the theater and thought it was absolutely stunning. I'm not surprised to see it being nominated for so many categories. I must say that I'm very disappointed at the Academy for not even nominating Kimi no Na wa (Your Name) for best animated feature. It feels like the all voters haven't even watched all films and just vote at stuff from Disney. They're so biased and I'm triggered. I'm glad to see The Red Turtle in there but it only got nominated cause of the Studio Ghibli label. Imo Moana should gtfo and make room for Your Name. Most people say Zootopia but my guess is that Kubo will win the oscar.

  18. I heard that three more Equestria Girls movies are coming out in 2017. I was wondering if anypony knew if this was true. I would love to hear anything that anypony else knows. Thanks! Regal Shadow
  19. As the title says what will you do when you're heading down to a movie theatre to buy some tickets for the MLP movie, act calm and normal, dress in a cosplay, scream?

    2017: Luna's American Tour

Feast eyes and click heels if ya got 'em! On August 21, 2017, Princess Luna will be making a personal tour of our great America, visiting many cities in Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and North and South Carolina! This event will have bronies turning their heads towards the convergence! Wanna know why? It's the First total eclipse on American soil since 1991, First on the mainland since 1979, and... First to sweep across the entire country since 1918! So it's a pretty big deal. If you want to know if you're in the shadow, post a comment on the picture comments saying what city in what state you live in so I can determine if you're in the path of Totality! Here's the code: __ * You're right on the centerline, and that's as good as you can get! Stay put and enjoy the show (given good weather, of course)! __ n This city is close to the northern edge of the path. You'll see totality, but if you can head south about 30-50 miles or so, then you'll see more of the show! __ s This city is close to the southern edge of the path. You'll see totality, but if you can head north about 30-50 miles or so, then you'll see more of the show! __ n* This city is right on the northern edge of the path. You need to get to the southern part of the city to see totality, or better yet, get about 46-60 miles south! And if you're at all north or northeast of this city (or even in the northern part of town), you won't see totality at all! __ s* This city is right on the southern edge of the path. You need to get to the northern part of the city to see totality, or better yet, get about 40-60 miles north! And if you're at all south or southwest of this city (or even in the southern part of town), you won't see totality at all! ________________________ No code, but your city is listed You're good! You're in the path of totality, and you should either stay put, or get to a city that's got even more totality (on the centerline would be best!)! Check the weather to make sure you'll be able to see the sun! _______________ Your city isn't listed Most likely, you're not in the path! Look through the list to find a city you can get to, and get there! (If you find a city that is within ten miles of you, that has lots of totality duration, then it's likely I just missed your city. E-mail us to ask that we include it!) _________________ Your state isn't listed Aaaaagh! Even worse! Get to one of the states that's in the path, and find a city in that state to view totality from! So yeah, post your city and state in the posting area below so i can determine if you're in the shadow!
