  1. I heard this song by the legendary Johnny Cash and it reminded me of Braeburn and Applejack. Now the song meaning is probably different but I'm too lazy to look it up. Just hearing Johnny mention color of the sun and his eyes were green reminded me of Braeburn and AJ. Basically what non-mlp music reminds you of your favorite ponies? Mane-six, secondary or background ponies. You can do OC ponies but try to mention what song reminds you of a canon pony if you please.
  2. Hey Everypony, let me introduce you to my stunning coltfriend, Braeburn Howdy y'all, my adorable coltfriend Soarin had this amazing idea to have you ask us questions and stuff! So yeah, ask us anything I'll be in BLUE and Braeburn will be in Orange-ish colour-ish
  3. So my friend Four Strings messaged me the other week about helping out with a fun song. It was originally intended for our OCs to fight, but we thought it would be funnier if it was the 2 biggest Soarin ships fighting. Its been a while since I had a go at Dashie's voice - singingwise I morph back into my own, lol, but I can do a good Dashie shout it seems. =D So here is a song of Braeburn and Rainbow Dash fighting over Soarin he really belongs to Dashie
  4. I recently found a comic that made me want to dub it. The Applejack Voice was done by the awesome Wubcake.
  5. I made my first ever comic dub voicing all the ponies in this comic Comic: Octavia page 35. I hope you enjoy
  6. This next Pony Parody is a real feel good rendition for me. It is based on one of my favourite songs of all-time and as you can guess by the title, you gather that it is none other than “Take Me, Home Country Roads” by the late/great and immensely talented American singer/songwriter John Denver. Here we none other than Applejack’s Appleoosan cousin, Braeburn honouring us with this song. This is the scene I had inspired by this song. Braeburn, sitting on his front porch at his home, overlooking his ranch with guitar in hoof. Would there be anyplace else in Equestria he’d rather be. I welcome all feedback and critiques. Hope you like! Take Me Home, Country Roads performed by Braeburn (In the style of Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver) Almost Heaven, Appleloosa, Salt Block Saloon, shining red clock tower. Life is old here, older than the trees, younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze. Country roads, take me home to the place I belong. Appleloosa, mountain momma. Take me home, country roads. All my memories finest comforts, horse drawn carriage, acres of apple orchards. Bloomberg apples make best apple pie. Misty taste of cider, teardrop in my eye. Country roads, take me home, to the place I belong. Appleloosa, mountain momma. Take me home, country roads. I get up early in the morning, birds sing softly, the ponyfolk remind me of my family far away. And when we get together, there’s nothing else to do but dance the night away, night away. Country roads, take me home to the place I belong. Appleloosa, mountain momma. Take me home, country roads. Country roads, take me home to the place I belong. Appleloosa, mountain momma. Take me home, country roads. Take me home down, country roads Take me home down, country roads.
  7. Does anyone know about any good Soarburn Fanfics?
  8. Who is you're favorite member of the Apple Family? Mine is probably Apple Fritter
  9. HUB Welcome to the Apple Family fanclub! Big Macintosh Granny Smith Braeburn A few rules -While Applejack, Applebloom and Babs seed are in fact memebers of the Apple family since Applejack already has her own fanclub and Applebloom and Bab's Seed already a part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders fanclub this fanclub will focus mainly on the other members of the Apple Family. -Do not post a picture of Rainbow Dash in the Apple Family forum, because Rainbow Dash belongs in the Rainbow Dash forum. -No spamming post to become biggest fans -This is a children’s show, and believe it or not there are younger people who go on these forums, please limit content to suggestive only. For example you may post a picture of two ponies kissing, but they cannot be doing anything inappropriate, or showing things inappropriate. -Do not hate on another fan club -All of MLP Forums rules still apply. -Fan art is encouraged but all images with the exception of the cover image in this first post must have the proper spoiler tags. Large amounts of unspoilered images on a single page can often cause lag and nobody likes to deal with lag.
  10. OK, welcome back everypony to another "Batbrony Reviews". This week's review should be pretty darn short, actually, just cause there's not a whole lot to say about this episode. That's not to say that "Appleoosa's Most Wanted" was a disappointing episode or anything, it was just a... an average Slice of Life episode, that's all. That's not a bad thing, no sir, every season's had its average episodes to be sure. I guess I was personally hoping for some more references to Western movies given the setting and the fact that I love that genre of film, but ah well, it was still entertaining enough and had a nice message to boot. So let's talk about the few things that stood out here. First of all, the CMC were fine on the whole. This wasn't a particularly great showing for them, there wasn't anything really notable that they did here, but they were characterized fine and entertaining as usual. Scootaloo's cactus sombrero was undeniably, epically awesome and hilarious all at once, but other than that nothing really stood out about the trio this time around. Their hearts were in the right places the whole episode for the most part, in fact everypony's hearts were; the whole conflict revolved around misunderstanding more than anything else. It's always fun seeing Applejack in the role of protective big sister (not to mention I find it incredibly amusing how she doesn't trust the CMC further than she can throw them; even if she knows their hearts are in the right place, it seems she's more aware than anypony else, with the possible exception of Rarity, just how much trouble that trio is liable to get themselves into if nopony's watching them ), and it was also good fun seeing other characters like Braeburn and Sheriff Silverstar return (I especially enjoyed the gag at the end where Braeburn kept getting hit in the noggin' by items accidentally sent flying by Troubleshoes into the crowd). Ah, that's what the CMC needed to make this episode amazing: mustaches! Speaking of Troubleshoes, let's talk about the new character. I liked Troubleshoes Clyde, I liked him a lot. Poor guy seemed incredibly depressed (I was getting a real Eeyore vibe from him, ya know, the donkey from Winnie the Pooh?), and for good reason too; after all, he seemed to think he was just a troublemaking clutz and nothing else, and all thanks to his cutie mark to boot. I've actually explored the very same thing with Derpy in my one fanfiction, so believe me, I can understand how a pony in his position would get depressed like that, and I think the writers did a good job explaining just why he's so down-in-the-dumps. Dude didn't even seem cynical, just really, really bummed, and I can't really blame him; his heart was in the right place, and he was certainly passionate about something, but he thought for most of his life that he simply couldn't be a part of what he was passionate about. So once again we got a character and the message of an episode revolving around cutie marks, and I thought that once again it worked effectively here as it has throughout Season 5. We probably won't see him again this season, or at least not before the finale, but for a one-off character, he worked really well. Also, I have to admit that I was just a little shocked to see a stallion bigger than Big Macintosh; gotta admit, I never thought I'd see the day. See what I mean, don't ya just see pony-Eeyore when you see this guy? All in all, there's not much else to say about this one. I did like getting to see Appleoosa and its townsfolk again; I think both the town and the ponies living in it have very unique designs, and that's always a pleasure to see in the show. It was also kinda funny how at home Applejack felt around all the mostly-earth ponies garbed in Western attire. But other than those final thoughts, I don't have too much to say about this one. It was an average episode, but in a good way; it had a nice message, was just as entertaining as it needed to be, and I can't really think of anything bad to say about it. I liked this one, I liked it just fine.
  11. The Season 5 premiere brought to us many things; prediction tables that shoot friendship lazers, Spike playing card games with Big Mac, communist ponies, abnormally-talented unicorns and sticks that were found out in the middle of the desert. But more than anything, this premiere brought us not one, but two new background stallion ponies who had an absolute plethora of lines and character development in just two episodes. Double Diamond and Party Favor have hit the fandom like a hurricane in just the pasty twenty four hours, joining the ranks of Thunderlane, Braeburn, Soarin and the few other background stallions who've gotten attention here and there. * I come to you strange horses today to offer all of us signatures! * To unite those who enjoy the new, talkative stallions who've been introduced into the world of colored pastel horses! * Be it until next week or a month from now, these signatures are free to use, and I encourage you to use them if you find them to your liking. 12. The sun was high in the summer sky. One farm pony sat on the train looking out the window of the train. Applejack was on her way to Appleloosa to attend the fair that was being held there. She knew it was a great opportunity to see her cousin, Braeburn, as well as see how much progress they had made. She wanted to be with her friends, but they were busy with other things. The train arrived in Appleloosa, and she got off, along with a crowd of other ponies. The town was decorated with green ribbons adorned with apples. Booths for caramel apples, apple cider, apple pie, apple bobbing, and other apple related things filled the town. The sight of all the apples made Applejack start to feel hungry. She walked around looking for Braeburn. She expected him to be helping out with the town hall, but she scanned the whole town, just in case he was somewhere else. As she made her way to the town hall, ponies and buffalo were seen conversing with each other. She knew that the relationships between the buffalo and the ponies had improved greatly. She found herself in front of the town hall. Her predictions were right. Braeburn was on the left holding a ladder while another pony tied the end of a banner to the side of the town hall. After he was done, he got off the ladder. Braeburn let go of the ladder and turned looking for other ponies who needed any help. That was when he saw Applejack. He galloped to her and greeted her, “Howdy, AJ! We’re almost done preparing for the Appleloosa fair. I’m mighty glad ya joined!” Applejack chuckled, “I wouldn’t want ta miss your first official fair. I’m surprised you didn’t say ‘Aaaaappleloooosaaa!’ though.” “It got a bit annoyin’,” Braeburn admitted. Applejack smiled, “Yeah. It did get tiring after the first few times of hearin’ it.” Braeburn chuckled and shook his head, “You’re definitely honest like they say,” “Ah take it ponies here ain’t too honest,” Applejack assumed. “They have their moments. Ah don’t lie at least,” Braeburn said looking towards the sky. “You are a terrible liar, and that is something considerin’ I’m a terrible liar myself,” Applejack accused. Braeburn smiled, “You got me. Truthfully though, even though I may not always be honest, I ain’t a liar,” “Ya mean you don’t have a habit of lyin’, right?” Applejack asked giving him a serious look. “I only lie when the situation calls for it,” Braeburn admitted. “I ain’t ever seen a situation where I had to lie. I’ve been in situations where it was hard to tell the truth, and sometimes I made the wrong choice, but I didn’t have to lie.” Applejack decided to change the subject, “So, when’s the fair starting?” “In a couple hours,” Braeburn informed. “It looks like you’re ahead of schedule lookin’ at the decorations,” Applejack complimented. “It’s our first fair. We started setting up early so we weren’t late. Better safe than sorry, they say,” Braeburn admitted. “Yeah,” Applejack agreed. Applejack and Braeburn helped set up the last of the decorations, then they walked to Braeburn’s house. The house was more decorated than Applejack last remembered. Pictures were framed and hung on the walls. The furniture was polished. She could smell apple pie coming from the kitchen. “Do ya want some apple pie? It’s fresh,” Braeburn offered. “Yeah!” Applejack accepted enthusiastically. Applejack and Braeburn walked to the kitchen. Braeburn pulled a chair out for Applejack who sat down, and the stallion put a slice of apple pie on two plates. He put one plate in front of Applejack and one in front of himself. Applejack took a bite and was amazed, “This is good! We need this recipe!” “Family recipe,” Braeburn said, smirking. “I’m family,” Applejack stated. Braeburn smiled but went no further with the conversation. They finished their slices of pie and sat in the living room with nothing better to do. They were bored, but there was nothing that needed to be done, and the fair was coming up. Two hours later, their patience paid off. The fair was open, and they joined the large crowd of ponies. Applejack and Braeburn were split up, and they went to different activities. Applejack decided to try bobbing for apples. After a successful attempt at bobbing, Applejack saw something that caught her eye. A sign read, “The Mechanical Buffalo.” She galloped over there pushing passed a few ponies to get a closer look. Sure enough, there was a mechanical buffalo and a slot for bits. A colt was getting on as she walked forward. She found a stallion who was watching the machine carefully and walked up to him. “Excuse me, do ya know who came up with this idea?” She had an angry look on her face. “Braeburn. He came up with lots of events here,” the stallion replied. Applejack thanked him and left. She had nothing else to do. She knew that the mechanical buffalo was offensive portraying buffalo as violent animals, but she had a strong feeling Braeburn didn’t realize that. She knew she had to confront him, but she didn’t want to hurt him. She didn’t like hurting anypony. She was still uncertain whether she should confront Braeburn or not, but she searched for him. If she wasn’t going to confront him, she could at least talk to him some more. As she searched for Braeburn, she continued arguing with herself. Part of her wanted to confront Braeburn, but the other part didn't want to hurt him. She found Braeburn, and the thought of the possibility of the buffalo being offended by the mechanical buffalo caused her to make up her mind. She walked to Braeburn and got his attention. Then she asked to speak to him in private. They walked to an empty area and made sure no one was eavesdropping. “I’m sorry ta say, but your mechanical buffalo thing can be seen as offensive to buffalo. I know you worked hard on that, but you are portrayin’ buffalo as violent and aggressive animals. It ain’t right,” Applejack told him. His ears flattened, “Ah’m sorry, cousin. I heard some buffalo talkin’ about somethin’ being offensive, but I wasn't sure what it was. I had no intentions on hurtin’ anyone.” “I know, Braeburn. I didn’t want to hurt ya, but I had to say somethin’ or there may be some anger among the buffalo. I don’t want ya gettin’ hurt,” Applejack said. “Thanks. I honestly had no intentions on hurtin’ anyone,” He said again. “I’m gonna go put it away right away. I’m awfully sorry about that.” “It’s alright. I care about you. You’re my cousin. I knew tellin’ you would hurt, but I had to,” Applejack replied. Braeburn nodded and left to put up the mechanical buffalo. Applejack’s ears were flat, but she knew she did the right thing. She never wanted to hurt her cousin, but she felt as if she had no other choice. She played games and bought food to her heart’s content until the fair closed. Ponies started leaving with wagons. As soon as the majority of the ponies were off the streets, Braeburn galloped to her and hugged her. “Thanks, Applejack. Ya did the right thing by confrontin’ me. I will make extra sure not to offend anyone. Again, I’m sorry,” Braeburn apologized. “Don’t worry about it. I gotta get home, I hope to see ya ‘round,” Applejack replied smiling. She galloped to the train station just in time to get on it. She waved to Braeburn as Appleloosa grew smaller and the train got further away. When she couldn't see the small town anymore, she turned in her seat and sat patiently until the train arrived in Ponyville. 14. Hey so I read a fanfic in which some of the Mane 6 got married and had their own families. In it, Pinkie was shipped with Braeburn and they had a little colt named Apple Cobbler. I guess I'm kind of undecisive with this shipping, I just really don't have any thoughts on it. That's why I'm posting this. I want to hear your thoughts on the Pinkie x Braeburn shipping. Do you support it? Are you undecisive? Or do you feel each would be better off with somepony else?

  17. I was writing a pony rap battle, for EPRBoM, it was Braeburn vs Soarin. I happened to get 9 Lines done and wondering if they were good or not. I also wrote Soarin lines but they are terrible But anyways here is Braeburn's Here you go: Braeburn - Oh, Howdy Partner! You must be a sucker. Try to rap againist me? And you'll surely see. That you should'nt rap against a stallion from APPLELOOSA! You're stallion pegasi that gets a none of the mares. Can't even follow up to any of your dares. You'll be going back to mother crawling on your knees. Cause this battle's already over and the winner is me. Also if you can help with Braeburn's or Soarin's lines that would be nice .
  18. Poniesforfun brought this up in a different topic and I thought I'd come out and ask everyone. Which colt do you want to see star in their own episode of My Little Pony? I myself love Big Macintosh, and want to see more about how good of a big brother he was while Applejack was growing up. I'd also like to see him meet and make friends with Shining Armor. Those two always struck me like they'd make good friends.
  19. I need a Braeburn for EPRB (Epic Pony Rap Battles) and you dont have to worry about lyrics we're choosing a lyricist right now
  20. We all know Applejack is awesome, and to some of us, best pony. But what about the rest of the Apple family? Tough choice for me. Braeburn and McIntosh are cool, but the real choice comes down to Granny or Apple Bloom. I've come to adore both of them, Granny for her eccentricities and fascinating story, and Apple Bloom for her independence and chronic cuteness. What the heck, I'll take AB by a hair. Because I'll be honest, I never did like eating big apples in one sitting. Too much apple always makes me feel kind of queasy. But a little tiny apple? Just right. "Woo-hoo! Can ah get mah cutie mark for winnin' Inter-net polls?"
  21. Hey there, y'all! It's me Braeburn, AJ's cousin from AAAAAAPPLELOOSA!!! I figured that since pretty much every other pony had an Ask thread, it would only be fair if I had one as well. So, ask away, y'all!
