Back in Season 7, episode A Health of Information introduced us to one of the most ominous pieces of lore in the show's history: a spotted lily pad: Vector link. Its ability is to poof out toxic fumes that infects ponies with Swamp Fever, a dangerous, highly contagious disease that eventually transforms ponies into the tree that blooms these flowers. In short, these trees are all victims of Swamp Fever. No name's given to either the tree or lily, so I have an idea. Why don't we brainstorm ideas to name them? Come up with possible suggestions below. In 2017, I referred to this flower as a "sneezing lotus," and a "lotus" is a water flower. "Sneezing lily" is another idea. Another one is "whooping lily" and "whooping willow." The tree that grows these lilies resembles the weeping willow, but instead of it weeping, it spreads a very contagious disease, and whooping cough itself is also dangerous and highly contagious.

Occasionally, I liked to compare some members of the Mane Six to flower trees or dryads because of their beautiful manes. For example, Pinkie Pie or Fluttershy would be imagined as a walking cherry tree, Rarity (or Twilight) as a jacaranda tree, and Applejack would obviously be an apple tree. What kinds of flowering trees would you imagine each member to he?

I come back yet again to the MLPForums to... ... Just show some art I've made over the past half a year. Been working on drawing digitally so I'm just curious what you all think. Feedback is appreciated, thanks!

So I finally tried Undertale, and really liked it. I think I'll get more out of Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3, but Undertale was certainly a unique experience. One of my favorite characters (Spoilers) was Flowey, the demented flower. I guess I got the neutral ending, and will probably go full genocide the 2nd time. My biggest regret is not realizing that you can spare bosses until after the 1st one

I just recently got Flower Town for the 3DS Mii Plaza, because I had $10 to blow and Retro-City Rampage was slightly out of pricing. (Stupid Wisconsin and it's Digital taxing.) I've already grown somewhere around 13 plants, and am working on getting all the breeds. I already have some ideas of the flowers I want to get and am working on that. I've had it for about 2 days. The game is surprisingly complex, with loads of different flowers of varying colors, blooms, stems and leaves to cross breed together with. Not to mention everything looks pretty. So yeah, uh, Flower Town thread I guess? I just needed to vent my addictions. White Hogsmile: Red Sedalia:

Ok, so I was wondering which type of flower (or flowering plant) is your favorite. Tell us which one is your favorite and why below. My favorite would be the Iris. I love this name (It's so pretty) and it is a beautiful flower. I love the way the white and yellow is mixed over the purple. And the symbolism behind this flower is nice as well.

Ok, so here is Lilly Flower! I thought of her a while back, and was like 'Ok, second OC!' I randomly though of the cutie mark since I was out of ideas. The Cutie mark is a flower and a Lilly pad. I didn't think of the name, my friend did. I am not a huge fan of the name, but maybe it will work out? So, enjoy!

I had a spurt of creativity and decided I wanted to do something in Photoshop. Not sure what anime this is from, but I liked the render. Once again, the username is from another forum. Here is what I came up with:

Hey, everypony. As you guys all know, today is Mother's day! I made this little drawing to celebrate, kinda ish. My mom's name is Daisy, so I thought it would be appropriate to draw Daisy in the corner. I hope you all like this!

Hey guys, this is just another video game review I did for the school newspaper. So...uh...enjoy and stuffs. :3 –––––––––––––––––––– Flower Review Year: 2009 Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment Developer: Thatgamecompany Platforms: PS3 (online-exclusive download) It isn't that often when video games are associated with poetic, clam, relaxing, and moving experiences. Well, with Flower, that's just the case. In the midst of a generation dominate by extreme, fast-paced, hardcore video games, Flower may seem like a stranger. But once anyone picks up the PlayStation 3 controller and starts this game up, they're instantly transported to a distant, peaceful world. In Flower, you basically control a flower petal, via the wind. You can move the petal forward in all different directions by tilting and twisting the controller which responds thanks to its gyroscope, a device that can sense where an object is angled in terms of gravity. Any of the buttons pressed will make the wind blow faster. The level design is magnificent. They all take place in plains, grassy hills, canyons, etc. decorated with gorgeous colors and lovely skies. You start with one petal, then gather a bunch of others to build up a group. As you gather each of the other petals, the ambience of the level turns into a musical sensation. Bell chimes are heard when they're collected, and the background music turns up and becomes more melodious. This is one of the many artistic virtues of this game. In fact, that's what most of the game is about, a unique experience that delves into an area that video games have done so little times in their long history. The game follows an interesting narrative, the theme is about numerous flowers' and entering their "dreams", which are the levels, as they slowly proceed to the faraway city. The point of the game is just to encourage us to think about today's typical society, as well as take a good look at the wonders of nature. Later in the story, the many features of the city, such as electrical power lines, begin to be portrayed as an antagonistic character, and the goal of the game is to overcome the industrial and non-natural forces of the city, and spread the wonders of nature. Through the game, you'll experience moving and beautiful moments that no other form of entertainment can produce. It's some of the best proof out there that video games can indeed be among other art mediums, such as pictures and music. It shows that games as casual as this can mean a lot, in taking players on such a poetic and mystic journey. Flower is available on the PlayStation 3's PlayStation Store service (online required) for $9.99. Rating (out of 10): 9.5
