  1. Anyone play GTA V? I’ve got a PS3. Looking for people to maybe play with and definitely dogfight with in the Lazers .
  2. Ever have a show or a game that you remember playing or seeing, but just can't remember what it was called? Well, maybe we can help. Describe a thing in media that you remember playing or seeing but don't remember the name of, and maybe people can guess what its name is.
  3. Actress Andrea Arruti, known to us as the voice of Diamond Tiara in MLP FiM, passed away at 21 years old. The cause of her death is unknown at this time. More information can be found in this article: A life taken too soon. Rest In Peace.
  4. Shocking and heartbreaking news. Kobe Bryant has been confirmed to be killed in a helicopter crash.
  5. I've been to a few conventions and read alot of guidelines online for convention rules and none of them seem to have consistent policies and enforcement. The guidelines are often fairly vague like no "offensive content" or "hate symbols". I can understand the rules about no real or realistic weapons, although I have still seen plenty of cosplayers walking around cons with fairly realistic looking prop guns. Also, how do you determine offensive content? Like I was thinking about putting together a cosplay of Schrodinger from Hellsing but I don't want to get kicked out of a con before I even walk in the door. Does this mean all realistic military uniforms are inappropriate? What about Tanya the Evil or Marvel's Hydra? Also, what determines appropriate sexual content. I've seen plenty of cosplayers in what amounts to lingerie, bikinis, and dominatrix gear, and this was still during daylight hours. Also, not to mention all the dealers selling barely obscured porn art. What do you think is appropriate and not appropriate for a convention, especially one open to all ages, and who determines that?
  6. With the new year, a lot of new stuff is coming to Disney. For me, I'm looking forward to Rise of the Resistance and Mickey's Runaway Railroad coming to Disneyland and a new Phineas and Ferb special coming to Disney+ Is there anything Disney related you're looking forward to this year?
  7. The idea is basically to find some hidden gems to actually try out or just see what other people find interesting and why. Or just reply and chat about it if you got any questions or played it yourself. Guess I'll just start! Microsoft Freelancer Genre: Space Sim/Space Opera/Space Shooter Features: Open world, interacting allied and hostile factions, vivid universe, storyline & multiplayer Year: Around 2003 Screenshots: Moms be like: "You surely can pause this game!" Trivia: - In case you have heard of Star Citizen, this dude Chris Roberts was involved in developing both this and it's prequel, Starlancer. - MP servers are still up, but you'll need some small patch for it or alter your desktop link to the game (hit me up if you got questions regarding this) I have wasted played this game 6000 hours, according to my old xfire profile.
  8. Kinda bored so was wondering if any of you have any favourite YouTube channels you enjoy watching? Personally, I don't watch YouTube much if at all but I'm there's a travel youtuber called Bald and Bankrupt that I'm a big fan of, and I watch all of his videos - I'll link one below. Share your favourite YouTube channels or personalities below, and explain why you like them if you feel so inclined. Cheers!
  9. Like the title reads, who is your favorite Jedi and/or Sith in Star Wars? The character could be from the films or expanded universe(novels, comics, video games, etc.,). Who is your favorite and why?
  10. If I'm watching TV or a movie, I find myself sitting midrange from the screen, not too close or too far. If I'm playing video games though, I tend to sit close to the screen and lean in closer when things get intense and I enter my gamer lean stance.
  11. Recently it seems as if 90s culture has been coming back into fashion since the 2010s. We've had revivals of Ducktales (which okay, premiered in 1987), Figure It out, Double Dare, a revival Animaniacs coming exclusively on Hulu this year and I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys being referenced seemingly every 5 minutes. The 90s were a culturally influential decade but why is this resurgence happening now?
  12. Since people like to talk about things like what you wear to bed, what your favorite flavor of toothpaste is, and making FNAF ponies, I want to ask this personal-ish topic. I regret nothing. What color underwear do you wear?
  13. Why would someone do this? I don't care how violent, racist or sexist the past was, depict the way it was. Why can't movies/tv shows depict a historical setting the way it was? It's immersion breaking to see modern politics.
  14. Jabba The Hutt in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition. Despite knowing about Lord Starkiller's Imperial power (and even being offered a reward for information on R2-D2 and C-3PO), Jabba still tries to kill him for some reason. Welp, I hope that Jabba enjoyed the Empire's wrath offscreen.
  15. So you get to pick one movie, one TV show, one video game and one album to be preserved for all time as the best or most representative of this decade. They can be the very best. The can be the most culturally relevant. They can be what captures the direction of the decade as a whole. they don't even have to be good to be the most relevant to it. So what do you choose? How do you describe the 2010s in four examples of media?
  16. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Kendl: "Carl, where are you off to now?" CJ: "Fittin' to hit the block, see what's happening."
  17. Out of all the MLP episodes, this one makes me cry the hardest. Can I start out by saying Spike has been relatable since day 1? Like Spike, I don't know my actual parents are, and he was adopted as a baby. And he wants to find his parents...just like me. And that part were Spike said to Twilight about him having a real parent, WRECKS ME, because I've had several moments like that in the past towards my [adoptive] mom.
  18. I liked the Matrix movie. Still have to watch the other 2. And I am not interested in John Wick. But I am just so pissed off at how obsessed people are over him, like God or the second coming or something. I just like him but not to that extent. I like how he, for instance got along with a homeless man and that he treats women properly, but that isn't a reason for the world to go hysterical. We don't need people going mad just because he breathes the same air we do. I also have other celebs whom I also like but not to that obsessive extent. This whole phenomenon is just Twilight 2.0. It's happening all over again.
  19. Which is better, rarijack, appledash, raridash, none or all. I like all three, they have so many reasons to be with the other person, now i want to know your opinions
  20. Caroll Spinney, the legendary puppeteer behind beloved Sesame Street characters Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch has passed away at the age of 85. He had been living with Dystonia for some time.
  21. As long as you don't compare it to any BattleTech game NOT made Piranha games, it can be a lot of fun. I like running around in an Urbanmech with an AC-10 or an MRM-40, but that's just me. For anyone who doesn't know what MechWarrior Online is, here's a video of Tex screaming at people while drunk over some gameplay.
  22. And it's not just My Little Pony. This year will mark the end of many other Movies and/or TV Shows. For fans of How to Train your Dragon, this week will see the release of How to Train your Dragon: The Hidden World. The series has started since early this decade with the first movie. In addition to having a second movie, it also got its own Animated Series that aired on Cartoon Network and Netflix, with a total of eight seasons and 118 episodes. In the end, it's tough to say goodbye to a successful franchise(And this coming from someone who saw the first two films) Another show that's ending this year is the Big Bang Theory. The first Season aired in 2007, and they are already in the middle of airing its final season. Though the spin-off series Young Sheldon will continue, the Big Bang Theory will end its 12 year run sometime before September. And the funny thing is that my parents are a fan of the series. Of course, there's another that must be brought up: The Avengers of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was in 2008 that Iron Man hit movie theaters and became a surprise hit, kickstarting the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Though the MCU will continue on after Avengers: Endgame releases in theaters, one thing is clear. The era that brought us Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye will come to a close with the final battle against Thanos. And of course, Star Wars. Mainly the Skywalker saga, which started with A New Hope. Star Wars: Episode 9, for better or worse, will air this December. Once that has arrived in theaters, that's it. And that's not the only piece of Star Wars Media that will end as well. This year, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will come back for one more season, tying up any loose ends that were left behind when Season 6 aired on Netflix back in 2014. Which of these shows will you miss after this year is over? Did I miss any?

  24. Regardless if it was really young ages or teen years. What’s some things in media that scared you? Please do NOT share any videos of incredibly graphic in any way content or get really explicit in details about it. If it’s highly graphic violence or whatever just sum it up in the least graphic way possible. For me: This one actually has caused multiple panic attacks ffs Bonus: An instrumental version of the first video Listen to this late at night, when you’re the only one awake and it’s raining or just really cold outside with some good headphones at full volume. I swear when I do that I feel as if the chants of Are You Ready are something I’m hearing as if I was having the exact experience the video shows, as if they were legitimately asking me this not him. That sounds crazy though I guess.
  25. Do you consider comics to be a valid form of literature? There's been a lot of back and forth but I wanted to ask for all of your input.
