Good morning, everypony! I hope you all are doing well on this lovely Memorial Day (apologies to any non-U.S. bronies who don't understand what holiday I'm talking about ). Just got a quick update for any pony who previously expressed interest in entering the Poniverse Spring Has Sprung Contest on Fimfiction; due to a number of potential entrants conveying that their schedules are quite busy at the moment, the contest deadline for submitting an entry has been extended from the original date of May 31, to Sunday, June 14, 2015. That's all, everypony, have a pleasant day. If you have any questions about the contest itself, feel free to contact me here or on Fimfiction, and if you'd like more information about the contest, just click on the following link: Poniverse Spring Has Sprung Contest
My favorite month is September for many reasons - Beginning of college football (Michigan Wolverines) - Beginning of NFL season (Detroit Lions) - NHL and NBA are in preseason or on the horizon (Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons) - MLB playoff chase (Detroit Tigers) - POTENTIALLY the beginning of a new season of MLP:FiM So basically all event-related things as stated in the 2nd question of the poll.
With only a day left before this great astronomical event that will return in the year 2117, I'm so excited to be able to see this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Tomorrow on June 5, 2012, 6:09 PM Eastern time, the planet Venus is set to sail across the disk of Celestia's Sun, in an event that will be visible all the way throughout America. As even I am not sure that MLP will last for hundreds of years, this my friends is the only transit that will ever be experienced by those who can truly call themselves bronys. So what say you? What will you be doing tomorrow as we prepare to celebrate this spectacular event? For more information, check out: http://en.wikipedia...._of_Venus,_2012 For those who can't see the transit live and in person, a special webcast will be made here, live from Mauna Kea in Hawaii: http://sunearthday.nasa.gov/2012/transit/webcast.php
