If there is a game point you wanna talk about. make sure you do this: SPOILER Theres a women that will yell at you if you step on her flowers in breath of the wild. Have fun and may the triforce be with you.(inb4 thread gets closed)
  2. Legend of Zelda is a great game series. I want to know which games is your favorite. Vote above and post reasons below. My favorite is Twilight Princess. I know not many people like this one, but I really like this one. It was also the first one I had ever played in the series. It was very dark (I like dark) and had a great story. Also, it had Midna, the best Legend of Zelda character ever. Feel free to discuss the series as well.
  3. Okey, so... These games. Lots of people love them, some people hate them (Because they didn't play them, lol). Anyhow, we all know that both games have huge fan bases. Both games also have comparable gameplay. So, the question is obvious. What side are you on and why? Personally I prefer Majora's Mask. I love the story and the dark setting. The transformation masks are also a great + imho (I can finally play as a zora!). The time travel mechanic is well implemented and this allows you to replay your favourite quests as you please (Or take on bosses with your new equipment). All in all I prefer the Majora's Mask game more because of all of the reasons I named. I do respect and love Ocarina of Time as well, but I just think that Majora's Mask has more to offer.
  4. I recently named link “My Boi” what have you guys named link before?
  5. Well, I know what I am doing, getting on Skype and on Thursday at midnight gathering my school on Skype to sing 'It's End of The World' I honestly can't wait (To sing) SO, What are you doing on D-Day!?
  6. Welp, I've decided to write another thing. As I believe I mentioned a while back (it's been a long time, hasn't it?), I would be writing reviews and the like for a few weeks because of all the new games and media that deserves to be bestowed the greatest honor, "My opinion". Now, I'm not exactly sure, but I doubt I've written anything in about two months. Why? I was on vacation and, if memory serves, I was too busy playing the new instant-classic, "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" on my brother's Nintendo Switch (I'm too poor to afford my own). Now, I'm not sure how regular I can post these entries, so bear with me; it's actually surprising I've even kept this blog up for so long (1 - 2 years?). Oh, and Legends of Equestria entry is coming next time so stay tuned for that The new Zelda, is not a new Zelda. It is a conglomerate of everything done RIGHT in the video game industry and shoved into a 60 dollar piece of plastic. It really is amazing how open-world companies like Bethesda have spent decades trying to master whatever it is that makes an open-world game significant; and here comes Nintendo, nailing it on the first try. I'm a crazy, suicidal person when it comes to video games. I've noticed this more and more as the years have gone by, mainly depicted by the number of times I've pushed through smokes in CS:GO and the pure and raw desire to destroy everything with the earliest items in any game (for BoTW, that would be Soup Ladle, which, in fact, I did deal the finishing blow on Ganon with). So when I discovered obtaining heart containers were completely optional after the release of "Ocarina of Time", I jumped on the chance to beat every Zelda game I could with minimal stats and, iconically, three hearts. It's a tedious task, but when you're as experienced as me, it quickly becomes a pleasurable obligation. With three hearts, I managed to beat the game in a week with all of the map uncovered, all the divine beasts, all the memories, and no Master Sword (I discovered the devil statue a week later). After the credits, I discovered the game was still only 12% complete. It's a huge game with few flaws, all of which are excusable for the sake of the game being "too cool" for measly imperfection. The divine beasts were easy, but that was only after I discovered I had done the last one first. Regardless, at face value, it's clear Breath of the Wild, was never about beating the dungeons and defeating a final boss, but it just so happens the only way to progress in the game is to clear dungeons and defeat a giant boar, so that's a thing. During my vacation in the Carolinas, a news article went out that a player had created a multiplayer mod for BoTW on an emulated copy. I hadn't been in the emulation scene for quite some time and last I heard of it, 3DS emulation was still in the works, I had no idea Wii U emulation was actually functional. So yesterday, after a month (or two, you tell me), I decided to download a copy of BoTW for PC and see if my gutsy little machine could take the next-gen title running on old hardware. The download took an hour or two, installation even longer; and what did I get for my troubles? 2.72 FPS during gameplay, 15 in menus. Time well spent; I'll be archiving it for when the time comes. In the meantime, I've gotta get back to Legends of Equestria, I've got to write an entry about it. -RealityPublishing P.s. Anyone in the Amareicas looking to form a party?
  7. Now I just want to start off by saying, I love The Legend of Zelda. I grew up with it, and, in fact, Ocarina of Time was the very first video game I ever played. I loved it more than anything in the world. As a mindless 4-year old blowing through the Shadow Temple with nightmares to spare, I was always in awe at how a boy no older than myself, was able to traverse across the vast lands of Hyrule and defend an entire kingdom from Ganondorf. Ocarina of Time will always stay in my heart as the best game to ever exist. 10/10 -IGN But while making my way through the death traps in the Bottom of the Well, I caught wind that there was yet another Zelda game on the 64. The name of the game was The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Now, back then, there was no way for a toddler to get his crumby hands on Dial-Up, at least, not for me. So I managed to forget about it and move on. Nearly 8 years later, the name once again arises with a remake on the Nintendo 3DS, a handheld console that I still would argue is superior to the PSVita, a gaming equivalent to MySpace and Windows Vista. (Vita, Vista, huh. I wonder if there's a connection) Having remembered the brilliant adventures of the masterpiece Ocarina of Time, I set off to find myself the original cartridge for this mysterious successor. Another year or two passed until I managed to find myself a Gold Cart copy of Majora's Mask for about 60 bucks with a replicated Expansion Pak of the same price. Slamming the cartridge in my system, I booted it up and started a file named "BEN", in respect to the Creepypasta. Back then, and now, I like to play 3D Zelda games with a challenge known as the "3-Heart Challenge", where, the player rejects all heart pieces and containers dropped or earned. Let me just say, the adventure on the original system would never compare to what the 3DS had to offer. I often complain that games today are simply too easy. Anyone can pick up and play them without dying once, hence why I like to revert back to a remake's original. Majora's Mask was a rage inducing nightmare that I truly enjoyed. Everything about it was familiar, chaotic, and absolutely impossible. Having bought the 3DS remake beforehand, I thought I knew everything about the game. WRONG. I can list everything they changed from the original right here, and right now. Of course, I'm not going to, but just about every boss battle was changed to make it more "paced", items were changed from their location. The Bombers' Notebook had no purpose in the original, but, that didn't bother me. I like to call the new game a well-deserved reboot. I like the remake, but the original is so much better. I found myself stomping around my room, tossing my controller on the floor, and screaming at my 2x2 VCR TV while drinking Pepsi more than enough times. It was the most excitement I'd felt in the longest time. I managed to beat Majora's Mask 64 with about 70% completion by avoiding all fairies, heart containers, and having one mask missing: Fierce Diety. For some reason, I just couldn't finish that Goron obstacle course. What a load of crap. The lesson of today is legit. If you see a remake hitting the stores, play and respect the original first. -RealityPublishing
  8. from the most resent episode Flutter Brutter this Link pony apears very briefly in the back ground
  9. This is a present I did for the voice of Princess Celestia: Nicole Oliver. Here, we have Princess Celestia dressed as Link from the Legend of Zelda, and even sporting the Master Sword to boot(And if anyone asked, she has the Pendants of Courage, Power and Wisdom tucked away under her cap)
  10. Hello everyone! I recently discovered the Zelda Starter Kit for RPG Maker XP ( and I really wanted to use it, so now I am in the middle of making a MLP/Zelda game. How the game works is that the LoZ characters will be replaced by ponies. The game will still work like an actual Legend of Zelda game, but with ponies. The story/ plot will be much different from regular LoZ games, and Navi is to be replaced by a parasprite Oh, and Rainbow Dash is Link, Fluttershy is Zelda Here are some screenshots! There's even a day/night cycle in-game. Afternoon: Evening: Here is the inventory: In the original LoZ games, Link does not talk, but in this game RD does And a character graphic is shown above the dialogue box. Kinda like a visual novel. Here's a gif; sorry about the poor colour quality And yes, I made the sprites myself... I'm thinking of redoing them because sometimes the sprites don't match the perspective of the LoZ tileset..
  11. Hey guys you may or may not know that the peps up at netflix somehow got a "good" idea to make a Zelda tv series. I am a huge Zelda fan and would love to see a live action series of the game however we know from past mistakes that live action video game movies/tv shows don't go well (Cough Mario bros cough) So the problem I have is how they are going to make it work, like is it going to be CGI crappy Gorons and Zoras or costumes and makeup? will they make the story line? Will they use a games plot every season? For example Ocarina of time one season and Majora's mask another? What if they make a small mistake? Like a character seems different or they altered their personality? Who will hold back hordes of fanboys/girls going ape shit if they do? How will they make Link's voice sound? Link like chell and gordon freeman is a silent protagonist so how will they approach his voice? Will they give him a voice? Would they make Link a mute or something? I would just imagine what would happen if they fuck it up..... three words " Excuse me princess!" fuck that game to Oblivion....o.o Lastly is the way they described it. Netflix envisions the series as a child friendly Game of Thrones....... Wtf?! With out gore, sex and bad language?! That is what Game of Thrones is about! Look I am hopeful it will come out good. I am just sceptical....really sceptical
  12. I'm a little leery of the report, and I don't want to get my or anyone else's hopes up, but according to this article, Netflix is considering development of a live-action Legend of Zelda series. Thoughts?
  13. I had not done a 'big' project in a a while now so I did this over the past two days. Only the second attempt I have made to really do scenery, first time drawing a pony from behind and first Celestia I have done. I was pretty happy with the result on this one. Image is based on Majora,s Mask if you are not immediately aware. Thoughts? Click if you wish to see it in the larger size.
  14. What would you do if majoras mask was really happening and the moon was falling? Tell me what you would do.
  15. As you may know, Majora's Mask on the 3DS is releasing within a month. As soon as you get your Ocarina back and go back to the first day, how much can you get done in the first three-day cycle after returning back to normal. With the Inverted Song of Time, I am able to complete the tasks needed to get into the first two temples and beat them with all Stray Fairys obtained from their respective temples. This is on the N64, so things would be slightly different on the 3DS, but I am hoping to do this the same exact way come February 13. So how about you?
  16. Have you all heard of the famous creepypasta game known as Remember.EXE starring Ben Drowned? Well, I finally tried playing this game and it almost killed me. This will be a new experience of fun and . . . . excitement. OH YEAH! Enjoy!
  17. okay look, before skyward sword arrived, I had played nearly every Zelda game, and then skyward sword came out. I feel like I was the ONLY one who liked it, and I still feel that way. everywhere I go, I hear hatred for it. Even Egoraptor just uploaded a video, where you bitched about the game. am I alone? is it really that bad?
  18. Well, here are a few of my remixes that I've done over the ages. They're made using only Audacity, so it ain't the kind of stuff you'd find on youtube by all those professionals. Sorry 'bout that. Vaati's Theme Remix.wav Song of Healing Remix.wav Vs Ghetsis BW2 Remix.wav Melody of Love Remix.wav Lugia's Lullaby V2.wav There ya go everypony!!! Edit: Oh, if ya download it, and like it, or don't like it, leave a comment or a something here. I love love love constructive criticism!
  19. The latest and greatest Zelda game is almost here. Platform: Nintendo 3DS Publisher: Nintendo Developer: Nintendo EAD(group 3) Release Date: November 22(NA, EU), November 23(AU), December 26(JP); both retail and digital(eShop) In the latest of the 2D handheld Zeldas, we have something a bit more special on our hands. Being a direct sequel to the 1991 SNES masterpiece The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, A Link Between Worlds will take place in that same overworld, except this time fully rendered in 3D, in terms of visuals and effects! But not all is the same- with new things like the ability to stick to walls like a painting, a new villain, a completely redefined item system, and a new parallel world to explore known as Lorule, there should be no shortage of things to discover here. Trailers: Screens: So excited for this game, can't wait!
  20. What started out as a pony drawing for Dsanders to give to his Girlfriend, eventually morphed into the greatest hero of all time. The Hero of Time himself. Mostly just a sketch at the moment. Looks better when clicked on.
  21. This is only my 4th drawing (ever) and I wanted to make something funny. My favorite pony is fluttershy and I am a huge fan of the legend of Zelda series. I was trying to come up with a name using shy and I had a burst of inspiration I'd love some feed back, even if its just "you suck at drawing!" (Preferably not that though). I am just a young person trying to get better at the art of drawing/sketching. Have a great day/night everypony!!!!!
  22. In the Legend of Zelda, the main villain of the series is Ganon. He has had many appearances as a result of course, but which one is your favorite? Here's a description of each(which will be put in spoilers, so those who don't wish to spoil themselves on Ganons they haven't fought yet), along with images so you can just vote on looks if you want. Ganon- The Legend of Zelda Ganon- A Link to the Past Ganondorf- Ocarina of Time Ganon- Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages Ganondorf- The Wind Waker Ganon- Four Swords Adventures Ganondorf- Twilight Princess Demise(he counts imo)- Skyward Sword Well, that's all of them I believe. So who is best Ganon, the baddest of the bad? Cast your vote!
  23. I recently came back into possession of a drawing which I did over a year ago. This drawing, while full of MANY flaws, is actually very important to me. This is the drawing which got me back into drawing after years of no significant art. This picture is from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time when Link fights Ganondorf. Again, there is so much wrong with it, but I still love it.
  24. Time for another Zelda thread. Because some people weren't satisfied with my choice of companions in my other thread, I have made a new thread for the sole purpose of stating which Zelda companion was your favorite and why. Unlike the other thread, this is open to ANY companion that has been in the Zelda franchise. Post your answer below and tell us why.
  25. Ok, so I'm pretty sure most of you know what Legend of Zelda. And most of you know that the Legend of Zelda games are famous for their soundtracks. So, I want to ask you, out of all of the songs in the franchise, which one is your favorite. If that is too hard of a question, you may put your top five favorite songs. Here are mine. (1 being highest ranking of favoritism.) 5. Title Theme- Wind Waker 4. Snowpeak- Twilight Princess 3. Song of Healing- Majora's Mask 2. Title Theme- Ocarina of Time 1. Midna's Lament- Twilight Princess
