(Any new characters should first apply in the OOC thread) (OOC Thread) @Blitz Boom @C. Thunder Dash @Califorum @Kujamih @Windy Breeze Ever since Discord betrayed Celestia to her death, turning the tide of the onslaught in favor of the spawn of Tartarus, those who survived were constantly hiding or on the run. If the spawn didn't tear you to bits, you had Discord's bands of loyal raiders to watch out for, and, if you were really unlucky, Discord himself snatching up creatures and sending them to Faust knows where. It's been a year since Canterlot fell, you and a few others have been lucky so far, dodging patrols and the roving herds of spawn while still finding enough food to stay alive. You've lost a few members of your group over time, and found new ones as well. A few have told of certain strongholds, "Bastions of Civilization" they called them, hidden away in the discordant wasteland that was once Equestria. Your group was headed in the vague direction of where one might be when your luck finally ran out. The forest you had been using as cover suddenly blew away like so much dandelion fluff, revealing your position to a nearby herd of spawn. And so you ran, trying with all your strength to outrun the spawn. But inwardly you knew you wouldn't be able to outrun them forever, or even outfly them as some took to the sky in pursuit. You knew that you, and everyone else in your group would soon be overtaken and killed. Until... *Whoosh Something small but heavy flew past your ear, not unlike a brick, then... *Boom A small explosion rocks the ground behind you, and from above a large shape appears, it's a crude vehicle, little more than a large metal box with a pair of wings and large propellers. The back is open with a ramp extending down. A mare stands in the opening with a large rifle, she motions for you to jump onto the ramp, "Get in!" They wait for as many of your group who survived to get on, helping in any who couldn't jump in on their own, and firing back at any of the spawn who got too close. Once they're all in the ramp closes behind them and the vehicle lifts higher into the sky. Inside the vehicle wasn't anything too special, benches on either side allowed for everyone to take a seat if they so desired. The mare who had helped save them set her rifle back across her back and lifted up her goggles to reveal her calm teal eyes, "Is anyone hurt?"

OOC Thread: @Skylight Scintillate Things had been complicated for a while, it seemed that every other week there was some big event, and just some time prior a hive of changelings had decided to not only go public, but to 'reform' as if there were something wrong with what they were? At least Hive Cheshire stayed true to what they were when they stepped into the light, but Hive Cheshire was only a few dozen changelings living out of a theater building. This new hive... Siren sighed, she didn't know what to think about it, her Queen was concerned, and had advised that everyling keep their distance from these 'reformed' changelings until more was known about them. Yet here she was, about to write a letter to one. She had entered into the Cultural Exchange a few weeks prior on the advice of her Queen, who thought it would be a good way to give her some experience outside Manehatten, maybe meet someone who could advance her singing career, get her ready for a tour. She was far from the only member of Hive Sleipnir to enter the exchange, and those who had finished their exchanges said it was a great experience. So why was she so nervous? She had gotten her acceptance letter just the day before, announcing that she had been paired with a reformed changeling named Larynx, and she was instructed to write the first letter of introduction. She brought up the issue with Mimir, her Queen's chief advisor, who reaffirmed that she should continue, "Getting close with one of these reformed changelings will help us better understand them. You're in an important place." He had said. So, all that remained was for her to write, to start this off, and see where it would go. Dear Larynx, Hello! My name is Siren Song, I'm an amateur solo vocalist in Manehatten, though I hope one day to be as popular as Hexcomb or Shy Bluff. I have a sea blue coat with a seafoam green mane and tail, and my cutie mark is a whole note symbolizing my skill in holding long notes. I can't say I've heard much about reformed changelings, much less met one before, so I hope you'll forgive my curiosity. What's it like to be a reformed changeling? What makes you different from regular changelings? I look forward to meeting you, and I hope to hear back soon, ~Siren She let out a deep breath, it wasn't a long letter by any means, but it would have to do. Hopefully it would be enough to get things started at least. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Larynx would receive a notification from the Cultural Exchange program stating his acceptance and informing him that he had been paired with Siren Song, a young earth pony mare living in Manehatten. It would instruct him to watch for a letter from her and to respond in kind when it arrives. He would receive receive Siren's letter three days later.

Private IC: Return of the King (1x1 with Catpone Cerberus)
King Sombra posted a topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Catpone Cerberus (Link to OOC) It had been some time after King Sombra was defeated. The Mane 6 and the Crystal Ponies would have thought that they vanquished the tyrannical king. They thought wrong, however. The explosion of light that blasted his body apart hid the true character of the event. King Sombra's horn remained, and was blasted off beyond sight. There, the King's horn remained for an untold amount of time. Unconscious he was, but the horn's magic would slowly begin to gather up enough power to the point where he would awaken once more. Far beyond prying eyes and within the wispy winds of the Tundra - a familiar form of shadow would return, although weak. Within the shadow a pair of green and red eyes trailed with purple smoke would open once again. The shadow form there lingered for what felt like an eternity before he realized what had happened. He had survived, yet again. Unlike the first time, he had lost access to his physical body and he could never hope to return to power, like this. Quickly, he decided that he would leave the arctic wastes beyond the Crystal Empire and head south as his magic returns. Hours passed, the King's mind was blank as it was on survival instinct. As he went towards the south, he could feel his body returning. The shadow form slithers across the ground quickly, remaining low. He wouldn't look back. As the hours passed, the sun would begin to set. He kept going, his eyes naturally attuned to the dark. Eventually, the arctic wastes faded away into pine forests, but he kept going south still. He wanted to get as far from the Crystal Empire as possible. Through the night, he went, occasionally taking rests. He could feel his magic returning in full - but it wasn't enough to return to his body. His mind began to trickle with thoughts. 6 ponies. A small dragon. A pink Alicorn, and a white stallion - responsible for his defeat. He realized his mistakes, though, he had been too open and too brutish the first time around. Now was time to think. All of them would pay. As his rage made his shadow form shook, he came to the realization that the Crystal Empire was not enough. No. Equestria. Yes...Equestria - that would all be his. By the time the sun broke the dawn sky, King Sombra had spotted a structure within the forest. Not too far, was a plain. Beyond that, he could scarcely see a railway heading off into the distance. That would be the way to civilization. As soon as the sun broke the dawn sky, the King's shadowy form coalesced into his physical form that had now returned. He felt lucky. And so he headed towards the structure within the forest. He was too far currently to really see what it was. Perhaps it was an abandoned building, or something from the distant past. He needed to rest and fully collect his thoughts. -
(OOC: Magloria could tell that she was being followed although they were no real indications as to who it was at the moment. The lone mare wandered through the frozen north, keeping her eyes and ears peeled for anything unusual. She was nearing her cave. However anyone watching Magloria would notice that she was dragging something...or someone. There was a crystal pony mare trapped in what seemed to be a crystal of some kind. It's blue glowing hue was seen shining across the winter snow. The poor mare was trapped in a state of stasis, she wasn't in any pain but she was restrained all the same. Taken away from her loving family. It was an easy hunt so to speak. All Magloria had to do was visit the nearby Crystal Empire and find a lone unsuspecting soul. Easy said than done though, as she could feel that she was being followed. With haste, she would reach the entrance of her cave and dragged the mare along the ground. The cave itself was expansive and she had worked on it for several years in order to give it what it really needed to be livable for her line of 'work' as it were. With a vile smirk across her face she proceeded into the cave. Instinctively, blue flames lit up on her entry and lit up a large hallway with various steel doors in place. Some of the the things here she had built for her in the past. The hallway was very eerie to say the least with the blue mist flowing out from under the doors almost organically. With a hoof raised a large door at the end of the hall would silently open. The room that was revealed was circular shaped and with many levels. There were at least a few dozen ponies of all various races, from various locations about the world. The mare she dragged was placed into an open spot and Magloria connected a series of crystals to the mare's crystal encasement. Her hoof was placed over the mare and Magloria's mane and tail glowed blue. The blue glow was transferred into the mare's trapped form, completing the process. "Oh, you are going to love it here along with all of your friends." she spoke soothingly, her grin turning to a calm grin. She was so far removed from the process she had done many times before. It was very interesting to feel a new stream of magic flow into her. Her mane and tail pulsed blue in an organic fashion, she was already sensing the mare's magic. Walking out of the room, the large door closed itself as she proceeded outward. There was still a nagging feeling of something not being right. She had not yet felt this before that was to be sure. Upon heading outside of the entrance to her cave she would look up at the cloudless blue sky that shone over the otherwise frozen and desolate landscape. Of course, her body was used to this. However out of nowhere she spotted someone else standing there right besides her. Her horn began to glow blue.

Private Unexplained Mysteries in the Undiscovered West (1x1 with Props ValRoa)
Forest Storm posted a topic in Everfree Roleplays
OOC thread A druid's work is never done. There are always issues in the world that need attention. This time it was the rumors that an unknown kind of craft had appeared in the sky above the western frontier of Equestria. The information Forest Storm and Tree Song had so far was vague, but they hoped to find out more after getting closer to the area in question. Two traveling green ponies, a druid and his apprentice, reached their next stop. It was the village of Stillwater, beyond the Smokey Mountains and White Tail Woods, the last settlement on the Equestrian side of the border. It's not a very pleasant place, with marsh terrain all around. Beyond lies the Undiscovered West, a largely unknown region where all sorts of strange things can happen. "What do you think it is?" Tree Song asked, with a slightly worried tone in her voice. "I don't know. Airships are not unheard of in this part of the world, but this time it seems to be something else," the old druid answered calmly. Forest Storm stayed at the inn, while Tree Song, being the more outgoing half of the team, went to the market to sell potions and buy supplies, but also to talk to the locals. Perhaps she would obtain some more information about the strange phenomenon in the sky. -
Private Slice of School (1x1 with Reality Check)
Skylight Scintillate posted a topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Reality Check Skylight Scintillate looked around nervously. It was the first day of school and this School of Friendship had a lot of students. There were so many different species walking around and it was just crowded enough to make Skylight a bit uncomfortable, but he could feel the excitement in the air. Skylight thought that the feeling inside of him was a mix of excitement and nervousness. He wandered over to an area that was slightly less crowded so he could see the staff up at the front. He also noticed a mint colored unicorn standing nearby. "Uh, hi?" Skylight said. He wasn't the best at introductions. "I didn't know that there are going to be so many different species here." -
@@Blitz Boom (OOC Thread) It had been a rather normal day for Null and Void, for once they were beginning to feel, something, in this town of theirs. Acceptance, maybe a sense of belonging? Whatever it was, they finally felt like they didn't need to be so on the run anymore. The two of them sat on a hill that overlooked the town at sunset, it was a truly tranquil moment. Void was peacefully asleep in the grass while Null was up, keeping watch, she thought to herself, an old habit from a time now further behind them. Null found herself doing something she had not done in a very long time, smiling. It wasn't a big one to be certain, in fact anyone who didn't know her would never even know she was smiling, but she knew it in her heart. It was at that very moment, the minuscule moment when she let her guard down, when it all went wrong. Though honestly one can't exactly prepare for a large portal opening in front of them. Less for what they saw on the other side. Through the portal was a room, so white it almost gleamed, though that was secondary to the all too familiar looking grey robed figures that dashed through it, and the pair of darts that struck the two of them. Void, having only barely been woken up by the portal quickly fell back asleep as the dart, a purely chemical rather than magical reaction, did it's job. Null did not fare much better as the Grey enforcers subdued her drugged form using her own weak points against her. Whoever had sent them clearly knew them well. She was only vaguely aware that some sort of harness was strapped around her midsection, a powerful humming, then darkness. ... A. Clave Bunsen scratched his small beard thoughtfully as he watched the enforcers drag his newest test subjects to the portal. He had heard of their rare abilities to nullify even the most powerful of magics, and knew the benefit it would bring to all of Equis if it could be replicated. The only problem was getting them to his lab. Which is where the portal came in, but bringing non magical creatures through a magical portal? That was what he was testing. The harnesses were designed as a counter, a shield specifically against anti-magic called the Re-Generator. And here was it's first test. Whether said field could contain the reversed field long enough to get them through? As the enforcers dragged the limp bodies, now much heavier due to the harnesses, the portal seemed to shimmer as the field came near, in the center it started to waver rather drastically, but it held long enough before finally snapping closed. Bunsen smiled as he looked down at the smoking harnesses around the two mares now in his lab. Sure it had bisected two of the enforcers and left another pair very deep in Equestrian territory, but he had his prize. Some time later... Null and Void wake up in another stark white room strapped down barrel up to exam tables with their legs, and wing in the case of Null spread out.

OOC: It was night, sound of sirens could be heard as smoke rose to the sky in the distance, Jenna was running as fast as she could, holding her black backpack on one of her shoulders with one hand while holding her other hand against her side. She was injured and tired, and she was amazed she had gotten away with so little, after all she should have been dead after a fight with a Viper. She collapsed on her knees and breathed heavily, Damn this body, how can humans even live with pain tolerance this low, she couldn't continue too much longer, she needed to tend her wounds and rest, but she didn't have place to go. Jenna wasn't what she seemed like at first glance, because though she looked and normally acted like any girl at her age, she wasn't just any girl, in fact, she wasn't even a human, she was a dragon, she was just disguised as a human. But she was nothing out of the ordinary, in fact, there was countless dragons living among humans, hiding in plain sight, and most of them belonged to a huge organization called Talon that had been established long time ago to save dragons from extinction in hands of The Order of St. George, organization of dragon hunters. But not everyone wanted to be part of Talon, and Jenna was one of them, but Talon didn't like those who didn't follow their rules, thus Jenna had just had her first encounter with a Viper. Vipers were what Talon called their assassins, they skilled killers who were feared by every dragon and human who knew about them, and it was pure luck that Jenna had survived the encounter with relatively small injuries. Jenna looked around here, there was no abandoned buildings around, but she would need to find a hiding place, she scanned through the area and noticed that one of the houses had still lights on, she pushed herself up and started walking towards the house, I guess I have to rely on good ol' human kindness, I just need to make sure they don't call anyone. She stopped in front of the door and looked behind her to check nobody had followed her, she then turned back towards the door and rang the doorbell. She let her fear show on her face, knowing that it would help to persuade the human to let her in.
-
OOC: It was sunny Friday afternoon and last of the classes for the week had ended, Jenna was standing outside the main entrance of the school listening music through her headphones and playing with a coin she had found from bottom of her leather jacket's pocked (1, 2, 3, 4,). She was bored, and didn't have any plans for the day, or for the whole weekend in that matter, and was killing time as she was trying to come up with something to do, but it was nothing new, because while everyone else in her age group were hanging with friends and or partying, she was usually alone, not because nobody wanted to be with her, in fact, some people wanted too much to be with her, but because she had made the conscious effort to make them to leave her alone. It wasn't that she didn't like company, no, she just didn't like the type of people most of the choices for that were, that and there was something she didn't want to risk showing to said people.

@MoonBunny @Reindeer SkylightFuchsia nommed contentedly from an almost empty packet of salty hay fries and slurped her tangy fizzy cola. The smells and sounds of the Faire are all about her and her explorer's senses were pulled a thousand different ways. She had been drawn to the Faire, though she wasn't a tourist like the others here - the Faire was a time of portentous pony happenings, and a familiar feeling in her bright pink flanks (from which stared three cheery sunflowers) told her that something big was ahoof. An unusual shimmering at a booth catches her eye. A unicorn seemed to be drawing a crowd, mainly younger, though with a few older creatures about, alongside a couple of unicorns, one of whom looked like a resident, and the other a visitor like herself. Fuchsia can just about make out the sign above the booth 'Moonbunny' as she laconically trots towards it to see the show.

Taking it to the forums, here is what we have so far <3 Ruffling of leaves could be heard in the distance as bunnies and deer would scatter in fear. Through the rustling, a pink mare would emerge, gasping as she beheld the glow of quite a rare and glowing plant. "There it is!" She'd say in a breathless awe. Gently approaching it, she'd procure from one of her satchels a vaguely glowing vial. "Come here little one," she seemed to speak to plants as if they were living things. Her ears would suddenly pin behind her, as if she'd heard something, a shift in the air. Ruffling from the tree tops? She'd look up with sharp curiosity to see what was drawing her attention A particularly annoying cloud was turning Cloudy's nap into a nightmare. It was too wet, too soft, and he just couldn't find the right position. He'd sigh in annoyance as his legs sink through the cloud and dangle below it. "Whatever," he'd say as he drifted to sleep. Some time later, he'd get awoken by a rush of air blowing through his body. Somehow, he had sunk all the way through the cloud and emerged on the other side, falling into the forest. Before he could react, his fall would be slowed down by the canopy, before being dropped into some bush, relatively unharmed. Silky would gasp in realization that that ruffling of leaves from the tree tops was caused by the weight of an actual living being. Another pony! Her eyes would widen as she'd rush toward to check and see how the young stallion was doing. "Are you alright?!" Her voice was shaken, she'd flick her bangs away from her eyes as she'd trot near. The golden lock of hair over her bangs gleaming as it caught the light. Cloudy would linger on the bush a little longer, trying to figure out what just happened. He'd carefully move his limbs to make sure nothing hurts. "Are you alright?!" He'd hear a voice coming from nearby. The blue pony would turn his head to find the source, and would see a pink mare looking at him, with a worried expression. A slight blush would invade his cheeks, as he'd realise he just embarrassed himself in front of a stranger. "I think I'm fine, just... a little dizzy" He would say as he'd begin crawling out of the bush. With a soft chuckle, she'd see his blush, noticing he was embarrassed and soothing herself by reasoning that if that was not the least of his concerns then surely he was alright. She'd nuzzle her satchel for natural remedies concocted by nature itself. Achillea was a plant used for disinfecting wounds, inflammation and when consumed it could even cure symptoms of depression. The vial she'd retrieve was of a moonlight translucent color as the liquid would swish and sparkle, ready to heal any potential damage. And then, in that moment, another giggle would be heard. A squeakier, more mischievous one and she's suddenly look back to find a little bunny pulling at the rare glowing plant she had tried to procure earlier. "Oh no! My lunar petals!" She'd remove her sweater, which concealed her wings, revealing that she was in fact, a pegasus and not a mare of default nature. "Get over here!" She'd throw the sweater as if to capture the little rascal but it would giggle and run with a roguish glee After climbing out of the bush, an interesting feature of Cloudy's body could be seen. His blue wings looked big and heavy, as if there was something hidden beneath them. Cloudy would look at the scene in front of him. A part of him wanted the mare to just go after the bunny, so that they could forget about his flop, and carry on with their days. On the other hoof, he was in an unfamiliar forest. He could use a guide. Not wanting to make a rash decision, Cloudy decided to see what happens next, and if the mare decides to chase the bunny, he would go after her. Silky was too distracted by the little lump under the sweater swirling around in place in an attempt to escape. "Give me the lunar petals and I'll let you free!" She'd chuckle and prance for fore-hooves forward in a playful manner. As the little lump would move about, it would suddenly shrink in size as if descending into the ground. "No no no!" She'd look back and notice the peculiar reaction to Cloudy's wings. Reverting her gaze back in front of her she'd remove the sweater and notice there was a hole in the ground in its place. She'd groan. "Where did it --" Looking back at him, "Would you like to help me?" She'd offer a soft smile. "But first... are you okay?"

Private Manipulation and Reformation (1x1 with PawelS)
Flurry Heart posted a topic in Everfree Roleplays
@PawelS The cool humid air could be felt as Flurry Heart flew down into the Canterlot Castle Dungeon. There weren't that many cells so she quickly found what she was looking for and flew over. There it was: the statue of the three villains that tried to take over Equestria. It was a lot taller and more menacing in the dark than it seemed. Flurry Heart always found this statue very intriguing. Examining the statue revealed something interesting about the characters. While Chrysalis looked furious and Tierk looked in pain, Cozy Glow looked terrified. Could psychopaths be terrified? It seemed like everypony thought she was a psychopath, but Flurry Heart wasn't sure. Plus, Aunt Twilight talked a lot about how no pony could be inherently evil, so they all deserved a second chance, but Twilight never gave Cozy Glow one. Whenever Flurry Heart tried to ask, she never got a straight answer, so she decided that she would be Cozy Glow's second chance. "Well, if this fails, I can always turn her to stone again and nopony would have to find out..." Flurry Heart said, laughing to herself nervously. She felt awful about doing this behind her parents' backs, but not trying giving Cozy Glow a second chance seemed to go against Twilight's ideas of friendship. Plus, she had a pretty good grasp on Twilight's friendship lessons, so she felt pretty confident about what she was doing. She charged up her horn and blasted a spell at Cozy Glow. -
Private Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns (1x1 with Dynamo Pad)
Skylight Scintillate posted a topic in Everfree Roleplays
@Dynamo Pad OOC: Sunlight Gleam smiled. He had finally did it. He had been accepted at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. He remembered watching a talent show at the school, and was amazed by what the students could do. What was surprising, was afterwards, he got so excited, he caused a burst of magic and his cutie mark appeared. Apparently, he also not noticed by the school, because now he got accepted there. By now, a large crowd had gathered in front of the school, and Sunlight was in it. He could feel the excitement in the air. All around him, he saw excited fillies and colts standing around with their parents. Apparently, Princess Celestia was supposed to make a speech to welcome the incoming students. Sunlight looked around. While it was hard to see through the crowd, he saw a young colt unicorn like him. "Hey there, isn't this so exciting?! We are going to learn magic! At Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns! I can't wait for Celestia to make her speech." Sunlight rambled. -
@Dynamo Pad In a dark arcade, a small crowd gathered around to watch a bespectacled blue unicorn at the game console, racking up one of the highest scores any of them had seen. The earth stallion she was playing against looked on, and he was not happy. When the unicorn mare was done. the crowd started to applaud. She gave them a modest smile, but then her opponent jumped in, yanked her by her foreleg and shook her. "There is no way you could scored that high in Tempest without cheating," he growled. The unicorn felt his hoof dig in to her foreleg. "N-no! I di-di-didn't ch-cheat! I-I-I s-s-swear!" she said. "Pl-please, you-you're hurting me!"

@Illiad Easle The OOC link HERE It was pretty early in the morning in Canterlot, which found a lone crystal mare in the Canterlot convention center, setting up her stall. The mare happened to go by the name of Winter Mint, and her stall would consist mostly of mint flavored or themed candy, her best seller from home, would of course be her mint flavored crystal rocks and candy canes. It took her about a good two hours to fully set up her stall and have her samples on display, and by that time, a majority of the other vendors at the convention and attendees were starting to be let in and roam the halls.

OOC Thread: @Courageous Thunder Dash The sun had always been harsh on Snipe's eyes, which is why he was grateful both for the nocturnal nature of Troy, which aligned nicely with his thestral heritage, and that he had been issued a pair of adapting sunglasses with his kit in the Academy. The Academy didn't coddle it's charges in any sense, but making reasonable accommodations to ensure that all their students performed at their best? It would be against the Academy's founding principles to deny them. Even so, the sunglasses didn't help the heat. His instructor's idea of a good lesson for the final day had been a full lap of the city at sunset. But at last, it was over, and he had a few months break before his real training began. Which wasn't to say that his summer would be empty, the Academy had signed him up to participate in the Cultural Exchange. "A true Spartration is a warrior at heart, and a true warrior knows that their culture is their most important weapon." Snipes sighed, he understood that, and he was at least curious about the fellow hybrid that he had been paired with, maybe they could share stories of the troubles growing up mixed in a pure environment? He returned to his empty barrack, his bunkmate already having moved out, and it would remain empty for the summer, just him by himself. He smiled as he listened to the silence, he had missed it. His reindeer horns lit up a she grabbed some paper, a pen, and the letter he'd received to let him know he'd been accepted, and set out to write his letter of introduction. Good Evening Miss Chelsea, I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Midnight Ice, and I've been selected to be your partner in the Cultural Exchange. To tell you about myself, I am a thestral-reindeer hybrid buck, my dam is a reindeer and my sire a thestral. Technically, as I don't have all the hallmarks of a thestral the correct term is a batpony-reindeer hybrid, but batponies are already thestral-pony hybrids, so whatever, you can call me a batdeer if that's easier to remember. I currently live in Spartrot, Troy, but I was born in Cervidas near where my dam and sire first met. I am training to be part of the Trojan Guard, with the hopes of one day becoming a Dragon Commando. That's actually why I'm doing this exchange, Troy wants their Best Of The Best to be well-rounded citizens, so experience in culture rounds out physical and mental training. I look forward to getting to know more about you and your culture, and I patiently await your response. With great respect, ~Midnight Ice Snipes felt awkward writing it, it felt too formal for his liking, hopefully Chelsea wouldn't be as uptight as some of the griffon instructors here were, then their subsequent letters could be less formal. Nonetheless, he sent off the letter, and hoped for the best. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chelsea would receive a notification from the Cultural Exchange program stating her acceptance and informing her that she had been paired with Midnight Ice, a young adult Thestral-Reindeer hybrid buck living in Spartrot, Troy, a recent ally of the Griffon Kingdoms. It would instruct her to watch for a letter from him and to respond in kind when it arrives. She would receive receive Midnight's letter three days later.

Starlight to Moonlight (1x1 with @Starforce) Link to OOC: Starlight Glimmer and Moonlight (formerly known as “Magnolia”) Sparkle originally set out on a quest to obtain Ascension. Ascension promised them Alicornhood as well as the possibility to reach their fullest potentials. However, the more they learned about this prospect, the unicorns realized there were dark, underlying intentions hidden beneath the glorifying dreams. Starlight and Moonlight decided that Ascension was not a path they wished to go down any further. Starlight did not need to be a “Princess of Equality” and Moonlight did not need claim superiority over her family. What the mares needed was to look past their ideals and make their own destinies by working to improve themselves. There new goal is to travel Equestria to see the world for themselves and to hopefully make an impact along the way. They also hope that, with time, they can strengthen their friendship and look past the animosity they used to have. Starlight Glimmer pondered her journey whilst on the train. She thought about what led her to Ascension and what had allowed her to persist for so long. She thought about how much she changed over the span of a few days: she went from a delusional, Cutie Mark-hating dictator to an authentic pony almost worth talking to. She also thought about Moonlight and how that mare just a few days ago had picked a fight with her at every opportunity. Moonlight and I were determined to ascend and reach possibly the highest potential we could! Now, we have tossed all that aside. Ascension may have led us to danger if we had continued to follow it blindly. I believe that has been our biggest flaw all this time. It just took something bigger and more powerful than ourselves to realize. she thought as she stared out the window at all the passing buildings. Like the buildings, ideals she used to possess swiftly drifted from her mind and were replaced with questioning, reasoning, and possibility. It was not perfect, as she was still prone to falling back into her delusions from time-to-time, but it was a start. She turned and faced Moonlight who was also silent at the moment. She wondered if she was having similar thoughts. Knowing this mare well by now, she was probably way ahead of Starlight and was already thinking about what they would do once they got off the train. That, or she was thinking abour garlic sandwiches. Starlight hoped it was the former. “What are you currently thinking about, Moonlight?” she asked her friend quietly.
-
When we last left our hero's, The "Great and Powerful" Trixie was responding to Starlight Glimmer by being sarcastic which, is totally and completely out of character for her. --- Now that that's out of the way, let us get back to our story. "You should ask Twilight Sparkle's dragon, Sponge to send out a mass wedding invitation." "Trixie knows you two are close friends."

@Sophie H. Icarus was in between shows and was spending some much needed down time at the local Ponyville park, just sitting on a bench, listening to some music and sipping on a latte. He'd close his eyes momentarily before he'd open then and pause his music, looking around, Something seemed off, everything was just a little too..quiet. "Huh, why is it so quiet?" he'd ask himself, getting up to look around.

OOC here The stable hummed with activity and rumor. But Eldrich Bolt had no time to see what the fuss was about. He was in his way to the medical wing to see Dr. Tender Hooves. Grumbling as he walked he almost wanted to curse the cutie mark that explained his need for specialized medicine. But nopony could really curse their cutie mark right? With a swish the door to the clinic opened and he could already see the vile of medicine and its associated needle sitting on a silver tray. He hated the feeling he knew was coming. The stick to the flank, the slight burn of the medicine. And then the nausea and sweats from the powerful immune boosters taking effect. He knew he was expecting a full workup today as he had been on guard duty at the vaults entrance this week. Which always meant the Doc fussed over him twice as much as normal. Sweeping his violet colored mane back he resigned himself to his fate.

(Link to OOC: ) @Catpone Cerberus A lone, lavender alicorn mare with a look perfectly resembling that of Twilight Sparkle would slowly stirr awake. Expecting the comfort of the bed sheets and the pillows, she found herself in a dark room. But that was not all, she felt that her body was different...no more hands, no more feet. Instead there was...hooves? At least thats what it was. She felt like she was in a deep dream of that she couldn't wake from. She couldn't stand, either. She didn't know how. She resorted to punching her face a few times in order to wake up but nothing happened. It was real pain. This was real. Initially she was quite horrified. Around the area she had felt sand in her fur. Due to the darkness of the room she could not see what she looked like. There some cracks of light under the doors. She had managed to pull herself over to the door but she could not properly reach up to the knob and couldn't see where it was. It was enough light to tell her that her hooves were...purple? Or lavender? The light was too weak to see anything else though. She felt herself against a bag. She recognized it as a sand bag. Why was she in a room of sand bags? She had to wait to see if anyone would enter. She did not want to make any loud noises or draw unwanted attention. She sat up a bit, pulling herself over the bags and moved them. She moved them in a certain way so she could hide and overlook what she thought was the door, over the sandbags. Her mind was moving extremely fast, full of horrifying thoughts and strange ideas. She had no idea what she was, or where she even was. She hoped she wasn't abducted by aliens, or host to some freak government experiment. She felt something bump up against the sandbags. She didn't know what it was, little did she know it was her wing. _

Private The Key To Trust (1x1 between Courageous Thunder and Dark Horse
Thundy posted a topic in Everfree Roleplays
OOC: @Dark Horse The sun was up and Thundy was out for a free flight. Every flight felt more free than before since Thundy's heart had become pure, and Thundy's abilities had skyrocketed. As Thundy flew over Dodge Junction, he felt something...something unstable. At first he thought a villain could be on the rise. However, when he stopped flying and just hovered in place, he focused more on the energy and felt weariness. Thundy slowly descended and landed on the dirt ground. He slowly walked towards what seemed to be a tavern. He looked around...until his eyes focused on a grey griffon. He slowly walked towards the other griffon, hoping he wouldn't startle him. -
Private A Breezie's Tale: A private RP between Diverse and Misty
Diverse/Petal Swirl posted a topic in Everfree Roleplays
Diverse clings to her 'steed'. She is returning from a long day of collecting pollen. She rubs her long antennae with aching forelegs, sighing as their luminescence - triggered by the oncoming darkness - flickers and shines against the receding light in the sky. If she were a lone Breezie she would have perished many times over, both on this day and also in the preceding years of her exile, but she had always had companions, such as her current zebra companion, who had saved her from the worst and who, being non-Breezies, would not reject her due to her troubled past. Diverse's tiny Breezie ears perk up as she hears a suprised shout amidst the thick blades of meadow grass below her. (It had been prompted by the hooves of her lumbering giant friend which had plunged towards an unassuming clump of grass.) On hearing the shout, Diverse calls out in alarm. In a forgotten recess of her breezie brain she felt that one of her small friends could be in danger! Diverse called out sharply to halt her giant, who obliged - the giant was her business partner, who was a zebra florist - he flicked its tail irritably and waited. Shimmying her wings in the late evening breeze to activate her magic, Diverse lights up her luminescent antennae fully to examine the suspect clump of grass. Recognizing the dewy filaments of a fellow Breezie in distress, Diverse gulps with anxiety but is unable to quell her natural instinct to help - she calls out to Misty and asks her if she is alright. ---- From Misty's perspective she would see an unfamiliar female Breezie with a friendly pink mane and cyan body. (In the dark of the evening Misty would not be able to see thee surprising pigment) -
OOC: @Sparklefan1234 @Totally Lyra Ah yes, Maretime Bay...a place where 'mostly' earth ponies hung about and relaxed...now...it seems as if all species have come to enjoy their time, ever since Sunny Starscout and her newfound friends reunited everyone through a great quest. Thundy and Chelsea just got back from a great time at a new town called Friendshire, where Thundy unlocked his pure heart and Chelsea found some new great friends and helped rid the curse out of a few ponies. "Haah, it's about time we take another trip..." Thundy said as he walk alongside his great friend Chelsea. "We just came back from Friendshire a few days ago and you're already wanting to go some place else...sheesh can't a griffoness pony catch a break?" Chelsea asked as she kept up with Thundy. "Well, who knows...wherever we go, they could use our help..." Thundy said stopping and extending his talon out. "So whaddaya say? Ready for that teleportation spell again?" Thundy asked. "Well...considering I didn't get zapped hard last time...I guess we could go..." Chelsea said looking back at Thundy, gripping his talon. The two gathered their respective energies and disappeared with poof. Meanwhile in the center square of Maretime Bay...all seemed to be quiet...until a mysterious energy whirred up...and suddenly...POOF! Out of nowhere, two griffons appeared (Thundy and Chelsea) The two griffons looked around. "Well...this is certainly a new place..." Thundy said. "I wonder where we are now..." Chelsea thought out loud.

Private The Great Quest (1x1 RP between Courageous Thunder Dash and Samurai Equine)
Addie posted a topic in Everfree Roleplays
OOC: It was just another day in Ponyville. Addie was out early, checking the library to see if a new Daring Do book had come out. She had gotten into the series due to some friends. When she arrived at the adventure section, she noticed that was no new Daring Do book. "Drats! Daring Do must be going on an extra long adventure if it's taking this long..." She said to herself. She then realized that no storytellers from the region where Somnambula was from hadn't come to Ponyville in ages. She therefore had to find out. This was it. She decided to go on a quest to find out what happened to Daring Do. But there was one problem: she wanted to go with someone. She asked around, but everyone was either busy, or they just didn't want to. Addie sadly went and sat on a bench with her head down. To pass the time, she gathered some magic energy and made a ball of energy appear in her hooves. She held it and rolled it around gently, then made it transform into boomerang. She threw the boomerang, which came back to her. She then transformed the boomerang back into a ball of energy. She decided to sprawl out on the bench laying on her back cutely, continuing to play around with the ball of energy.
