Anyone else liked Sesame Street? I loved Sesame Street, when I was very little. There were a lot of good songs, but there were also quite a few songs that I really underappreciated, for I didn't know what they were references to, until I got older. Examples include "Letter B," a beautiful reference to one of the most famous Beatles songs: "Honk Around the Clock," a nice reference to Bill Haley's song, "Rock Around the Clock" "ZZ Blues" a possible reference to ZZ Top's song, "Sharp Dressed Man" "We're All Monsters," a reference to racial diversity: "Frazzle," a possible reference to people with mental disabilities, and social acceptance thereof. ...and so on and so forth! My favorite character is Cookie Monster, and these are my favorite songs, sung by him: What about you? What are your favorite songs, characters, and/or moments? Any songs that you once disliked at first watch, but then came to like more, later on?
You know, the Ponies have already taught all of us (not just children) about friendship; I’m certain many of you agree that they can help teach children many other things as well, on Sesame Street. I’m certain everybody here has watched Sesame Street, and perhaps you might remember all the celebrity’s that have appeared on Sesame Street. For example: Pee Wee Herman appears in “Put Down the Duckie”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMAixgo_zJ4 The Simpsons Appeared in “Monster in the Mirror”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM6ya7wTb58 Here’s The Pink Panther on Sesame Street: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTNdsIzEii0 Here’s Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop on Sesame Street: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6JKinrhrfc Finally (I’m certain you get the point by now), here’s Luxo Jr. on Sesame Street: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9ajy13-v9c Anyway, I think that the Ponies on Sesame Street would be a wonder thing to behold. I’ve already thought of a segment in which Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle demonstrate the letter ‘D’. Also, perhaps one or more of the Ponies might cover a Sesame Street song (such as “I don’t want to live on the Moon”). Perhaps you can think of more Pony appearances on Sesame Street. Also, feel free to share any other thoughts you might have on Ponies on Sesame Street.
i took a macro shot of my cat, today. actually, i took several pictures of him. copy pasta from dA: "Macro shot of my American Red-Tabby cat, Sesame. He slept in my bed, and I saw it as a great opportunity to photoshoot him in his rather deep slumber. Amazing depth for such a cheap camera (175 dollars)." i might upload more pictures i took of him.
