  1. I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of these legendary ponies in the upcoming episodes, so let the discussion begin! As for me, my favorite (so far) is Mage Meadowbrook. Not only is her character design lovely ("I really like her mane!"), but I love listening to her accent. I think it was neat how her legend has been mentioned as early as the start of season 5. I included Stygian in the poll as well, as I expect he's got some fans. While he's technically not one of the pillars, he is responsible for their existence, and, indirectly, the Elements of Harmony too. So, who is your favorite, and why?
  2. Star Dreams is a pony unique to MLP gen 4, Friendship is Magic. She is a light pink unicorn filly with pink, teal, and purple mane and tail. She doesn't have her cutie mark. Star Dreams made her first appearance in Friendship is Magic toyline, in the 2012 playset "Sweet Slumbers with Applejack and Star Dreams". Her second appearance was in the "Cutie Mark Crusaders and Friends" Collection, in 2013. Her third and most recent appearance was in 2014, when she decided to show in the FiM Rainbow Power Bath Spa Set, with Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Unfortunately, she has never been seen in the animated series, in spite of her many shared appearrances with half of the mane 6, and the CMC in the official toyline. But though she seems to shy away from the series, she has gotten bits of fanart from her admirers. Fanfics: Fanart: And since we know so little about her, the speculation train is taking pasengers! (personally, I like to think little Star Dreams may be related to a Sunset Shimmer, and could harbor a fascination for best princess, Luna. Perhaps even having a friendly rivalry with Pipsqueak for her affections)

  4. Hey everyone!! Wanted to share my first ever piece of artwork I've done with GIMP. I don't think it turned out too bad!! Beware those who haven't seen Season 2 of Star Vs. This is just headcanon, but it's still a potential spoiler character! I hope you guys enjoy this! Here's a link to the deviantART page:
  5. The wildly popular "Shironuri" fashionista in Japan? Can Rarity take on an assignment in Japony and meet Minori? Can you see Minori working with Hasbro irl to promote a Carousel Boutique style?
  6. Like Yvaine, Coriakin, and Ramandu (from Stardust and Narnia) being people who are actually stars (like the ones in the night sky), sometimes I consider some ponies to be "stars in pony bodies", such as Sunset, STARlight, Twilight, and Trixie (for their names or apperances), and Double Diamond (for him being a very cute WHITE pony -- he might be bright enough to burn stuff!). May I know, which ponies do you consider to be more like "stars" than ponies, as in having some form of relation with the stars of the night sky, or actually being "fallen stars from the sky"? That is, other than Celestia and her student Twilight, who are overrated choices?
  7. This is just starring episodes, not episodes they're going to appear in total this season, cause that's gonna be hard to guess! So 26 episodes, we got Twilight episodes, Applejack episodes, Rainbow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Starlight, Spike, the CMCs, Discord, and of course that one Celestia episode we all crave! Including duet episodes, how many episodes do think we're gonna get this season for each character? I'll share mine below. ________________________________________________________________________ Now of course we got the premiere and finale, which I believe Twilight's gonna have the leading role again in them, plus three episodes for her this season, one by herself, two with another Mane Six - hoping for one for AJ and one for Rarity, cause Twilight hasn't had an episode with JUST Rarity or JUST Applejack yet. I'm guessing her map episode might be with Rarity this season, but that's just me. I'd like to see those two go on a map adventure! Applejack, I think she might have three episodes this season, one with her family, and two with another Mane Six. One with Twilight, like I mentioned above, and maybe a map one with Rainbow. Hopefully all her episodes will be good this season! Rainbow Dash, since she hogged alot of screentime last season, I think she's just gonna have three episodes this time. One by herself (which might be the Wonderbolt episode of the season), and two with another character. One map episode with AJ, and it would be nice for her to have one with Scootaloo! No more Mare Do Well-like episodes this season, please! Have some episodes with her being smart! Rarity, since she too had alot of screentime last season, she might have just three as well. One by herself, one map one with Twilight, and I dunno who should be the other one. Pinkie Pie, since she really lacked appearances last season, this season might make up for it a bit by giving her either 3 or 4 episodes, depending on other episode slots. One episode by herself, and the others starring along side her friends. Hopefully one of them will be along side Fluttershy! Fluttershy, out of all the Mane Six, she's the one who always lacks appearances in seasons, so I think to make it up, she should have four episodes this season - one by herself, and three with friends. For Spike, now it depends, if this season is going to star Scorpan, Spike might have a major role this season, but one way or another, I'm sure he's going to have just three starring episodes again, one by himself, and two with friends; hopefully one with Starlight. Now the Cutie Mark Crusaders, I'm hoping for them to have four episodes this season like they did every full season except for 6. Two episodes with the full CMCs, one for Sweetie Belle, and one for Scootaloo, and give Apple Bloom her episode with AJ and the family. Discord, probably two. Hopefully a surprise duet episode between him and Trixie! Starlight Glimmer, since season 6 was her season to shine, she might just have three starring episodes this season. The most she might do this season is a supporting role in the premiere and finale, and perhaps a couple more just supporting roles, or cameos. And of course there's the one Celestia episode!
  8. Hi everyone! So I found this: youtube and I got really inpsired so I made this! I'm so happy with how it turned out, what do you think? ^^
  9. Do you guys feel any particular way about these ponies who are exclusive to the toyline? Have you gotten attatched to one or some, in the way you'd get attatched to a pony in the actual series? In my own case, I'm so in love with a little blank flank filly named Star Dreams, who's toyline exclusive, and has been released 3 times-twice with some of the mane 6, and once with the CMC, so I've been curious as to her importance, since she's been released with the mane 6 and CMC. Not to mention, she's as cute as a button! I'm miffed that there isn't more merch of her, and I eagerly await the day when she'll graduate to at least being a background chara in FiM. I've given her a fanthread in the forums, and throw countless hours into writing fics about her. To me, she's more than just a toyline exclusive pony. Does anyone feel the same about any specific toyline exclusive pony?
  10. So I got bored and made a wallpaper with a vector done from the first images opening MLP, I choose Luna for this subject. Thinking of what or how she would paint the night sky while the ponies would sleep and end up missing out on the wonders of the night! Keeping in the colors mostly of purples and a lavenders and throw in the simple moon with a light glow more and along with Luna herself. Done in star brushes and some glitter and just tuned some of em down with a few mist and a plant in the stream of stars in thinking of the Milky way a bit for some adding! Put in the clouds and just reduced em a bit to let the colors of night shine in them or be a frame!
  11. As the title suggests, who do you want to have as a guest star for the show? When I talk about celebrities, I'm talking about either IRL actors or actresses (Leonardo DiCaprio or Nicolas Cage). We're not going for already established voice actors in animations though. Honestly though, I'd be totally cool with Johnny Depp as a guest. So who's on your guest list?
  12. There's been a looooot of chaos happening in Ponyville since Twilight Sparkle moved into town- much of which has been a result of her using her magic as a solution. Parasprites literally eating every pony out of house and home, magic duels that put the Ponyville populace in danger, bringing a dragon who- if not watched carefully- could go overboard on his greed and grow to enormous sizes, destroying their town, mind-controlling the townsponies with a spell so they'd fight over a doll, causing damage by using magic during the Winter Round Up, creating the mixed up chaos in the town, with the switched destinies of her friends, by reading Starswirl's spell aloud, nearly allowing Discord to claim Ponyville as the chaos capital of the world, giving the CMC a book to cause chaos to ponies- who ended up contributing to the destruction of the town- with a love poison, not keeping a closer eye on Discord or getting info out of him sooner, to stop the plundervines from invading Ponyville (though Celestia's partly to blame for allowing the mane 6 to let him out of his imprisonment again). Also, in the recent teaser for the 100th episode, we find out that poor Amethyst Star has had her role stolen from her by Twilight, and nopony bothers to ask her for help organizing events, since little miss Canterlot privileged ascended alicorn teacher's pet, Purple Smart came to town. Wonder if Amethyst has any resentment toward Twilight stewing, because of it. (and I'd love to see the relationship between her and Twilight explored in future episode, building off the development Amethyst gets and what we learn about her stolen spot, in the 100th episode) So what do you guys think? Would Ponyville and its populace have been better off without Twilight ever coming there? Do you think they've adjusted to the constant chaos that the Mane 6 (mostly Twilight, though) brings through their neck of the woods? Could Amethyst Star ever share the spotlight with Twilight? (she seems to have things under control with the other townsponies when monster attacks or some such happens, and claims to have been the best organizer before Twilight stepped in).
  13. The Starfox franchise is no stranger to experimentation, with the original SNES game bringing 3D polygons, Starfox 64 introduced rumble with the Rumble Pak, and even experimented within it's own series, some with drastic changes(like Adventures), and some feeling close to what we expect from the series(Assault), with Starfox Command kind of in the middle, as while it does do somethings similar yet different compared to more traditional games in the series One thing the game does in terms of the series roots is a return to a purely air-based combat, but at the same time it does a different take on it. Instead of arcade style on-rail shooter, the game takes a tactical approach where you where you are given a number of turns(which you can get more by destroying enemy bases) give a select number of characters(up to 4) a path you set towards enemies, enemy missiles, and capture enemy bases, and engaging in quick all-range dogfights defeating enemies and gaining enemy cores, or you engage in destroying missles by following beacons until you are close enough to shoot them down, and with enemy bases, you can destroy enemies to get a chance to destroy the mothership by following beacons and destroying the mothership by barrol rolling into it...seriously. It's also worth noting that a lot of the game's inspiration comes from the cancelled Starfox 2. For the most part the game can be fun if you can get past some annoying drawbacks. For starters, the game is entirely controlled with the DS touchscreen, including Barrel Rolls by drawing circles on the touchscreen, dragging smart bombs, u-turns, and somersaults via buttons on the screen, which for game like Starfox can be a pretty big pain in the ass at first. I remember when I first played the game I was really turned off by the touchscreen controls to the point where I was put off the game for a month until I decided to give the game another chance, and played it enough to where I was able to play the game easily and enjoy. While I did ultimately get used to the controls, I feel it would've been a better idea to allow control with the d-pad, as I felt playing the game with the touchscreen in general would turn off the people who wasn't a fan of the touchscreen. One other annoying mechanic is the time limit(ala fuel) given to players for each time they fight, and are shared with all characters and goes into boss fights as well, though you can gain more fuel cells to increase your time limit, and deflecting projectiles can also increase your time limit. Once you get used to it, it's not as big of a deal, but when you start playing for the first time, it can be a huge turn off. Boss fights are also pretty fun, one of which even features a fight with F-Zero's Octoman The game doesn't really look to bad either, the in game graphics are exactly what you expect from a DS Starfox game. The character designs are serviceable, though for some reason they thought it was a good idea to have almost every female pink Funny enough the girl that was pink in the past is now grey(I feel like I'm in the minority that prefer's Katt's new design) A big change from this game was a bigger emphasis on the story. In the past games, the stories were, while enjoyable, were really just basic, simple, and typical things you'd expect from their games, while the game's main draw was the engaging gameplay. Starfox Command however decided to take a new approach and try to get you more engaged with the characters and the plot. All of this would normally be all fine and good...if it wasn't for how over-dramatic and serious the game takes itself and with how the characters act; the game feels like a really bad space soap-opera with furries(or Gundam SEED with furries) Basically bad fanfiction The game starts off with the Starfox team disbanding, with Peppy becoming the new Cornerian Army general after Pepper falls ill, Slippy staying with his girlfriend, Falco leaving to go solo, leaving Fox, Krystal and ROB. Sometime however, Fox ultimately decides to give Krystal the boot for her safety(urrrggghhhh...). Meanwhile a new army arises from the seas of Venom, the Anglar army, with it's emperor planning on taking over the Lylat System. Meanwhile, Starwolf becomes wanted criminals with high bounties on their heads As far as the characters go...ummm....well....well Slippy and Peppy mostly went in and out unscathed. If anything they're probably the only characters that really benefited from the game's narrative. As for the rest, Falco, even though he doesn't feel much different from what he's been in the past, does have his own fair share of bullshit moments. Fox and Krystal, however, were beaten over the heads with the stupid drama hammer. Throughout most of the game, Fox is an emotional wreck often begging on his knees for Krystal to forgive him. Speaking of which, let's talk about Krystal for a minute. Krystal is mean in this game, often giving Fox verbal thrashings, and even driving Slippy to tears at some points. She also joins Star Wolf and begins dating Panther just to spite Fox. I get that people can become bitter when someone breaks their hearts at points in their lives, but Jesus Christ girl. Another issue I have with this is that it further establishes the stigma that she's Fox's girl, and that's really about it, which was an unfortunate trait she's had since Assault. But one thing I will say it did that Assault failed at was giving a few small touches such as her apparently being close to Peppy and his daughter Lucy(I'll talk about her later), as well as Anyway back to the rest, Star Wolf is...not as entertaining as they have been in the past. Leon, again, just feels like he's their to be his right-handed man, Wolf rather than a rival/anti-hero comes off as an honorable foe, which isn't bad, but it's still a little lame. Panther picked up a new habit of taking in third person, and it is really fucking stupid, anything he tries to say menacing just comes off as laughably bad with his third person. Katt and Bill from Starfox 64 also return, and are mostly unchanged, though Katt also ghas her share of Bullshit drama as well. Several new characters are introduced as well, Amanda(Slippy's Girlfriend), Lucy Hare(Peppy's daughter and Krystal's supposed best friend), and Dash Bowman(another one of Andross's nephews, though unlike Andrew, he dislike his uncle) and while they aren't the greatest, I did fairly enjoy them, and would be a little disappointed if they were left out of the next game(though I could do without Amanda honestly) One of the benefits of having plenty of characters though is that you get to control all of them. Unlike previous games which mostly had you control Fox(unless you were playing multiplayer), you get to take control of several of the game's characters(including James McCloud!), each with their own unique ships and statistics. One of the game's best features, something that's been missing since Adventures and Assault, was the return of branching paths and several alternate endings. Depending on what decisions you make throughout the game, you can change the story and the outcome which will give you access to 9 different endings, each different from one another. While whether any of them are any good is subjective, it does give the game high replayability(as some paths are more enjoyable than others) There's no more multiplayer. Nintendo nuked it FINAL VERDICT: I personally thought the game was really fun, in spite of the learning curve and the shitty story, and I did managed to find a few endings that I liked(thought they're all neutral because I'm boring like that). I do think there is something here if you can get passed the touchscreen controls, poor story and well...questionable art direction
  14. That's it. You awoke a demon, and now we'll see who the ass is right on this thing. PREMISE IS SIMPLE. WHO'S BETTER? STAR BUTTERFLY? OR PEARL? Come on,is easy to see who's the winner. *cough* Star <3 *cough* THE TIME LIMIT ARE 7 DAYS,AKA ONE WEEK. SHIP FIGHT AWAY!
  15. After watching this video you start to realize how small we are compared to everything else. How can people say we are alone in the universe.
  16. I made a new pegasus pony OC, his name is Rising Star. He kinda represents potential, maybe he's sad because he hasn't been able to live up to his. Here's the original idea from my sketchbook:
  17. I've recently heard a rumor about NASA ans the sun. It has a big solar filament, the biggest recorded solar filament and the second biggest thing in the solar system, only the sun itself being bigger. Solar filaments cause solar flares, just like sunspots, but the solar filament will cause a huge one, and maybe it'll point to Earth and wipe us all out. Farewell, at least a possible farewell. Be prepared to die a very painful death, and prepare for blindness too, it's extremely bright and hot.
  18. Hi! I'm starlia elemental, you can ask me anything you want! if you want I mean....and at times I will even add some art to go along with your question.
  19. Self explanatory, who would you want to guest star as a voice in MLP FiM? Personally, I think Adam West belongs in the pony universe. He should play some weird mythological animal.
  20. Hello everybody (and “every-pony”). First, here’s a question for all of you: Where is one of the best places to look for Stars (besides the sky)? The Hollywood Walk of Fame is one excellent place you’ll find lots of stars, and it would seem that they still have room for many more. Yes, so many well known figures in media at least many of us look up to have one or more stars on that Walk of Fame we call Hollywood : -Take Fred Rogers for example; he’ll forever be remembered as a true pioneer in children’s television and a dedicated advocate for nurturing public television. Why wouldn’t he deserve a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: -There’s also Jack Webb; he’s best known as the producer of classic television shows including but not limited to “Adam-12”, “Emergency” and of course “Dragnet” (in which he also played the title character, “Joe Friday”; and he certainly knew how to make a statement). He carries a badge and 2 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (1 for Radio, 1 for Television). -And of course, there’s Jim Henson and his Muppets. I think I need not say more with this one. Not only does Jim Henson himself have a star, but so does Big Bird and Kermit The Frog. -Hanna Barbera has a Star, The Rugrats have a Star, Neil Patrick Harris (from “Doogie Howser M.D.”) has a Star, even Shrek (from Dreamworks’ adaption of “Shrek!”) has a Star (hmm… perhaps Dr. De Soto should try for one too). Now here’s a very special “Star” from the historical Apollo 11 mission to the Moon, which was broadcast on TV: Now how about “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”? I’m certain many of you will agree that this franchise deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After all, MLP:FiM transformed the My Littile Pony toy line from just another average line of toys for girls into a popular, amazing and fantastic icon that is inspiring so many people. MLP:FiM also helped to launch “The Hub Network”, which we can all agree is one of the best things to happen in today’s television and is a role model for what good television should look like. The stories are robust and have "an edge" and there are eye-popping stunts (such as Twilight accidentally knocking a vase of flowers off her table in “The Ticket Master”), and yet the show is still able to be mentally healthy, moral, nurturing and informative as well as entertaining and charming to watch; in the immediate decade from before this show was aired, you would never have expected such a combination of edge and morality to work on Television. MLP:FiM has also inspired a sort of movement that no other television show has: the “Brony” movement. The Brony movement has encouraged people to further proliferate the show and the nourishing moral values and messages of Friendship, Harmony and Collective Wellbeing the show delivers; it has encouraged viewers to make suggestions and contributions to the show on a larger scale than any other show before it; the movement has encouraged artists to turn to the show for inspiration, and I am very pleased to see charming works of art such as “Snowdrop”, “Children of the Night”, plush toys and many of those “OCs” such as Lauren Faust’s self portrait of herself as an Alicorn; and it has encouraged people or organize for philanthropic purposes and help make the world a better place, “Bronies for Good” is one notable example. I also really enjoy seeing the show’s crew getting involved with the “Brony” movement and/or general fandom; and what other show’s crew gets involved with its viewers and listens to them on such as large scale? My point is that while I can understand that many might think otherwise, I think we can agree that “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” is indeed a pioneering television program unlike any program before it; and I therefore think that a special star should be dedicated to it on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So here’s what we should do: Anybody reading this should organize a group and this group then starts a fundraiser on Kickstarter (or something similar) and gets a movement going; this movement should even try to get the show’s crew involved. One a large movement and adequate funding is attained, the movement should begin making plans for and pushing for a special star on the walk of fame. I personally would suggest a special star that’s shaped like Twilight Sparkle’s cute mark ( and the other 5 “mane six’s” cute marks surrounding. Each star needs to be approved; so I would also suggest starting a large petition for the show’s fans and general viewers to voice their support of a Star for MLP:FiM on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. See this page for more details: As one more suggestion, I would suggest spreading the word online, perhaps though posts on more forums, and though Art on DeviantArt and videos on YouTube that support a Special Star for MLP:FiM on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame; we should probably also try to get Equestria Daily to cover the movement. Well everybody (and “every-pony”), there you have it. I look forward to see what you all might do to push for a Special Star for MLP:FiM on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame; you can let me know on this topic. -“Stay ‘Pony’ My Friends”
  21. This is the first human I have ever drawn, and I didn't even truly draw it. This picture was made from a picture my mom took of our family at a restaurant somewhere. I made a vector of it, colored in the bits where my Pony would be colored, and then we get this! To be honest, it's kind of creepy.
  22. I've been recently playing a game called Star Project. It's really fun! You manage a star and you basically improve their skills. You can even date the star! Here's the game link:
  23. What can I say? I get bored sometimes. But, I seriously do like Aliens. I mean, you literally have no limits as to what you can do with them. Some of the ones I make eat their parent's brains at birth, others kill for no other reason but to retrieve their foe's bones. It's a fun hobby.
  24. I was wearing the same exact sweater while I was drawing this. Anyway, I was bored, so I drew this. I honestly think most ponies look better when wearing simple clothes like this...
