  1. So, I was Googling some old shows, and I remembered this one show: Monster Buster Club. So when I Googled it, I saw Andrea Libman and Tabitha St. Germain on the list of cast members. So I went to YouTube and found the intro. And guess what I discovered. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiKJPshxtxM This explains everything. Cathy is an shape-shifting alien. She came from a distant planet to fight aliens on Earth. Naturally I assume she eventually stopped the aliens and left Earth, and went back to her planet. But she had so much fun exploring a new world, that she wanted to go to a different planet. So, she shape-shifted into a pony, and went to... EQUESTRIA! Under her new pony name, Pinkie Pie, she made friends and nopony has ever suspected that she's an alien! But what about all her cartoonish antics, and craziness? Because she's a shape shifting alien! It all makes sense! EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT NOW! I'm going to go watch some episodes of this old show, Monster Buster Club, and continue my research... discover if this Cathy really is Pinkie Pie. From what I remember, even the opening, the Pinkie Pie and Cathy are rather similar. Could this be true, could Pinkie Pie really be a shape-shifting alien? What do you think of this off-the-wall theory? (If this isn't the right forum, could a staff member please move it, I had absolutely no clue where to put this.)
  2. So, most of the voice cast with the exception of Ashleigh Ball are extremely responsive to fans on Twitter and other social media websites. I've been lucky enough to get a favourite from Tabitha St. Germain and Peter New when I wished them a happy birthday (got a reply to a question from the former, too!!!). Anyway, on the subject of birthdays, I've noticed that a lot of fans often tweet the voice cast asking something like "It's my 22nd birthday today, could I get a happy birthday from Fluttershy/Celestia/Spike?" A lot of the time they reply and the fans are very grateful, even if they don't always say please :/ I was thinking of doing this but then I thought isn't it a little rude or attention-seeking (the voice cast honestly don't seem to mind - Andrea Libman and Nicole Oliver in particular are very nice about it but I dunno it feels wrong :/).
  3. OK, so there's a new series of Teletubbies coming, probably either next month or christmas. Now, I like the fact they are rebooted it, because a few years ago I hated the Teletubbies, only because I thought they were fat and lazy. But I think I've changed my mind. You see, the Teletubbies do regular exercise. And despite having speakers, they don't control them, they are simply giving them advice like your average parent, so no, it's not communist propaganda. Now, they never even seem to get fatter. Also, they were a quintessential part of my childhood. And Jim Broadbent, who was Professor Kirke in Narnia and Horace Slughorn in Harry Potter is going to be in the series. Also, the series is going to be made by DHX, who made none other than, *drumroll*, MLP:FIM. And they know their stuff. Now, if you listen to the trailer, Po's ''Whee!'' sounds exactly like Pinkie Pie's. So is Andrea Libman, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy's actor voicing Po? Or Shannon Chan-Kent? Because Fluttershy's voice I think can also sound similar to Po's, in that it is calm and quiet. What do you think? better quality version here, http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2015/oct/20/the-teletubbies-are-back-its-still-about-love-and-wibbly-wobbly-bottoms
  4. I always thought Janice Kawaye, the Japanese-American actress who plays XJ9 from My Life as a Teenage Robot and Cosette Coalhearth from Valkyria Chronicles II sounds to Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy's voice actress Andrea Libman. Listen to Janice's Jenny voice. Now here's Andrea's voice of Cathy from Monster Buster Club Pretty similar huh?
  5. It’s Just Not a Party Without Andrea Libman, So BABSCon Got Her! Are you ready for a Boxing Day miracle? After all of the Hearth’s Warming presents were opened, we found a big, beautifully-wrapped box today. And, to our surprise and delight, it had Andrea Libman in it! So we thought we’d share her with all of you at BABSCon this April. You all know this smart, talented, UBCP/ACTRA Award-winning actress as both Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but she’s also voiced the titular Madeline in The New Adventures of Madeline and Andraia on the classic ReBoot, as was a regular on children’s shows such as Dragon Tales, Care Bears: Adventures in Care-A-Lot, and Strawberry Shortcake. She’s a fixture on the MLP con circuit because, let’s face it, no pony party is complete without Pinkie Pie. Her presence guarantees that attendees will have the best of times with her double Mane-6 party power. With Andrea joining fellow Guests of Honor Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Claire Corlett, Ian James Corlett, Brian Drummond, Brynna Drummond, Tony Fleecs, and Heather Breckel, it’ll be an experience that’s not to be missed. So, register now and prepare to fire those party cannons! The Bay Area Brony Spectacular (BABSCon) is the first convention devoted to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in the San Francisco Bay Area. In our first year, we became the second-largest MLP con anywhere, and we’re back for our second year April 3–5, 2015 at the SFO Hyatt Regency in Burlingame, CA. 6. So Andrea recently tweeted this. https://twitter.com/AndreaLibman/status/550092027661004800 So Libman wants to use the G3 Pinkie as a pinata, so does this mean she also hates G3 (like most of us)?
  7. Andrea Libman, the voice of Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, along with several other roles like Cylindra from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures and several anime roles is known for her distinctly cute voice. But does anyone recall her voicing a male character before? It would be interesting to see what her doing a young boy voice sounds like.
  8. So has anyone seen Andrea in the X-files? It was back in 1993- '94. Season 1,episode 22, "Born Again" She plays a seemingly deranged little girl out for blood... well kinda.. I just watched it on Netflix yesterday and remember seeing parts of it back when I was a kid in the 90's. She was 9-ish when she was on it. I think she sounds a little bit like Sweetie Belle in it.
  9. So, I don't know if all y'all peeps out there heard, but apparently Andrea Libman got married today. Which, means that Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are married too, since she voices them. Opinions? Speak now or forever hold your peace!
  10. Today is Andrea Libman's Birthday and she has turned 30. I had a cake planned out, but it seems a certain Alicorn Princess ate it. And apparently, a certain Party Pony ain't too thrilled about it. http://daimando.deviantart.com/art/What-happened-to-the-cake-Princess-Celestia-469225329?ga_submit_new=10%253A1405793801 I wish Celestia the best of luck trying to weasel out of this one.
  11. Hey everypony! I've been working on a Pinkie Pie related animation and I need a voice actress for her. If you can do a good impersonation, or know Andrea Libman (fat chance, but I figured I'd include that in case) let me know and I can send you a script. Thanks in advance!
  12. Today, I was fortunate enough to go to Comic-Con on the 3rd day and low and behold. I saw the events unfold. 1) I was fortunate enough to get a snapshot of me alongside the voice of Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy: Andrea Libman. I also gave her a birthday present 2) This image I have is her birthday gift 3) Later, I was given the honor to meet Lauren Faust(Creator of MLP:FiM) and her husband the wonderful Craig McCracken(Creator of Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends). The image that they're holding up are original characters I drew(Wanda Young and Will Diamond) 4) The actual image with Lauren Faust and Crack McCracken's signature. The girl on the left is Wanda Young while the guy on the right is Will Diamond. They both actually liked my image. 5) Finally, that Pinkie Pie and Rarity Pony I drew during the Let's learn how to draw ponies forums signed by Lauren Faust

  14. Basically exactly what the title says. Is anypony from here going to the Edmonton Comic Expo? The reason I ask is because at the Edmonton Comic Expo this Sunday there will be a panel with Tabitha St. Germaine and Andrea Libman. So I was just curious if anypony was actually going. It would be fun to actually meet some other Edmontonian bronies and maybe have a little meet up for the panel.

  16. This thread is to discuss and praise the talented voice actresses/actors of MLP:FiM. You can list your favorite performances, a certain line that was delivered just right, or reach into a VA's past and pull up your favorite work of theirs from another show/cartoon/franchise. Tabitha St. Germain is my favorite because her work as Rarity is top notch. The different tones and deliveries definitely add to Rarity's character depth. This isn't Tabitha, but check this out. Click play, close your eyes, and imagine Applejack singing the American anthem. It's awesome.
