Hello, everyone! I was debating whether I should do this topic, and decided I should. So I was just wondering, are there any countries you want to visit? I have quite a few of them, and they are the following: The Philippines (based on everything I've read about the country, as well as the pictures of it I've seen, it seems like a beautiful country, and I'd love to visit many of its landmarks and try a lot of the food there. I also have lots of friends from the country) Thailand (I actually went to Thailand when I was younger, kinda wanted to visit again for some reason) Japan (I'll admit it is mainly because of Japanese pop culture, but I do also want to visit some of its many landmarks, and learn more about the country) South Korea (pretty much the same reasons as Japan) United Kingdom (not sure why, I kinda just do!) Sweden (again, I'm not really sure) Poland (For some reason, I've started being interested in Poland) The Netherlands (my dad's side of the family is from there) New Zealand (my mum's side of the family is from there) United States (mainly for the pop culture, as well as some landmarks) Canada (again, not really sure why, I kinda just do) Mexico (forgot to mention this one, but, I'd love to try more Mexican foods, besides the usual tacos, burritos, etc...) China (it does seem like an interesting country, and considering the kind of influence it seems to be gaining in the world, I'd like to visit it)
Every once in a while, I like to have some KFC for dinner. I mean, who wouldn't want chicken wings and fries for dinner? It's delicious right?! But in Canada, their fried chicken... is just terrible. My biggest grievance? The crumbs. The crumbs are simply not crunchy. Not at all. Not even the spicy chicken wings are that crunchy. To top it off, the chicken pieces themselves aren't that big! They look scrawny! If you go to Indonesia for some fried chicken, they take things to a whole new level. The chicken is crunchy. VERY crunchy. They added a lot of crumbs on the chicken and it's very clear the chicken was fried! And the meat is so juicy and tasty. They even make spicy a staple in their chicken. Trust me, you do NOT want to order spicy chicken in Indonesia if you don't like spicy food. Their mild chicken is already pretty spicy. This is not just a grievance against KFC food in Canada. It's a grievance against all food in Canada. In here, everything tastes a lot more bland and their Chinese food are mere imitations of the real thing. Like I said, if you go to China or Indonesia, their Chinese food is simply the best. Juicy noodles, tasty sauces, extra spices on all their foods for that exquisite feeling. And to top it off, it's a heck a lot cheaper in Indonesia. You could get a whole exquisite dinner for 5 in Indonesia for just $40, while $40 barely covers fast food for 5 in Canada. Even their American food can be tastier in Indonesia! It's a crying shame for Canada! Their food tastes here are so inferior it's a pittance!
