  1. Hello everyone! Have you ever looked to the banner and dreamed about seeing your own creation up there? Have you sometimes felt that your favourite MLP character doesn't get enough love? Do you long to introduce more fans to your self-proclaimed OTP? Well then, what are you waiting for!? We at MLP Forums are always on the lookout for new banner submissions to help keep the decor fresh! Whether it's a completely original design or skillfully edited photoshop, we want to see the kind of ideas that YOU can come up with! So, if you've had an intriguing idea swimming in your head for a while now, or just fancy throwing something together out of the blue, send your submissions to myself, @PathfinderCS and @Jeric, and you may find it's your creation at the head of the forum next! (Here's a tip: Go with Sombra or Deer to ensure Path's approval, and Rarity for Jeric. It's been too long since we last had banners for either!) Thank ye pones.

    OH-OH...

Ummmmm. heh heh... errrr... *sweats nervously* Ummmmmm... i-if anyone should see any... *gulp* p-p-parasprites... just act normal. DO NOT spook them! It would be... uhhhh, 'highly reccommended' that we gather up all the parasprites we can find, and list them HERE; that way, we can try to corral the little pains, and escort them all out of the forums at once. ... and I have NO idea how they got here... ... best of luck!
  3. Earlier in the month we launched a nearly year long tournament, the second of its kind on MLPF -- the 2018 MLPF World Cup. You can read about it here. The first few legs of the tournament are focused on setting up teams for the actual world cup, choosing team captains, and setting up a humorous and creative narratives in RP and Fanfic formats to explain how all these characters would wind up in a contest like this. At some point in the summer, the set-up phases will be complete, and the World Cup will commence. This is where you, amazing reader with some talents, come in. This is a community run event. Some have contributed to the project as they see fit, such as @KH7672 and @Batbrony and their hilarious comic and RP commentary. Others like @Frostgage will be contributing their talents to create iconography such as Team Jerseys. However, there are some other creative elements that the World Cup could use to truly make it the event that it could be. When the World Cup event kicks off this Summer, I am hoping that we will have the following in place: Banners for MLPF Several banners to showcase the tournament, and perhaps some of the more intriguing match ups. Match header images Most matches will be 24 hours in duration, and to kick off the match, I would like the post to feature some imagery invoking the teams involved prior to the text. Signatures As I mentioned, Frostgage has the jerseys covered, but some people may like to wear sigs instead. 32 signatures focused on each team would be ideal. Flags for each team Similar to the sigs and jerseys, each team will need a flag. I have attached some examples from last World Cup An editable group bracket (see attached image on what was used four years ago) The last tournament had a PSD file made that allowed quick editing of teams as they progressed through the competition. I have also included the ones used last time to give you an idea. Video editing assistance This is where I really have no idea what I am doing, and is the most time consuming element. The World Cup needs a kick-off video showcasing each of the teams, a few quotes, some shots from the show. Each team will have also have an anthem and it would be awesome to have something small that could be put together for them. There is also a closing ceremonies video that captures some member highlights from the tournament. Again I included some examples of what we had previously to give you some idea. Live hosting The PC that I have that can do live hosting is used exclusively for my business, so tax and accounting depreciation rules and all prevent me from using it to stream. If you can host a stream on Equestria.TV for the prize giveaways, special event reveals, please let me know. RP'ers As this started, I have hinted at a more narrative element to this tournament than last World Cup. I have laid a foundation of that story and as the tournament continues, that will start to come more frequently and the story will start to pull together. What I need to make this amazing are individuals who would like to jump in and whiff some RP based elements before, during, and after a match. Other Stuff Basically, this is the part where I admit that someone may have some great ideas on how to support this that I haven't considered. I'm open to suggestions on how to use your talents to make this more fun. Cause ... fun. To give you a general idea of what we are looking for, here are some examples of what the community did to help out last year. @Batbrony @Frostgage, @Stellafera, Flipturn, @Shift and others were instrumental four years ago. Example of the last World Cup Bracket Poster for the Top 32 Example of Flags used last World Cup Example of Jerseys from last year created by @Frostgage (He has this covered this year but I think its cool enough to post then to give you an idea on general design ). Example of MLPF Banner used to kick-off the last World Cup Example of Music and Video used for last World Cup Again, the teams and their respective captains will not be set for some time, so this is still a bit early, but some concepts and ideas can be fleshed out early. Also, live streaming help could be something I can use right away. Anyway, if any of you can pitch in ... definitely drop me a PM. Any questions, post them here. Thanks for reading and thanks for considering to help out with making this a phenomenal event.

    Official Community Banner Archive!

As the community has grown in size and diversity, we've become hosts for some truly amazing artworks, including but not limited to audio, written and drawn. Not long after the forum truly began to take off, the site adopted the practice of using banners made by members quite regularly, on a weekly or occasionally duel-weekly interval. The problem being that so very many banners get made, it's easy to lose track. A 'banner archive' was suggested some time back, but though everyone loved the idea, it had yet to get implemented. Here it is, in modern fashion, a simplistic topic that serves the purpose :3 Whether or not a more sophisticated system will be implemented in the future is anyone's guess, but the important thing is, we now have an official Banner Archive. Please Note: Images with random cut offs, like say on the right side of banners, are natural due to the nature of the site's buttons that would correspond to those locations. In addition, some months have more banners than others due to mandatory changing due to holidays and episode premieres. Likewise, some months have fewer banners as one banner may have lasted two weeks instead of one, due to no new acceptable banners being submitted one week. Also Note: Artists with no links are banned users, of whom wouldn't be viewable to users anyway. -- 2011: 2012: 2013: 2014 2015 2016

  8. This post comes in three parts: Banner Contest Theme, Non-Contest Season 5 Submissions, Banner Contest Rules. Important note: Please read the general rules and theme info below before submitting your banner. Otherwise, it may not be accepted! Submit your contest banner to the Admins Artemis, Lavo, Jeric, and Spoon (and nopony else) by Sunday, June 14th at 11:59 PM (EST). Voting begins immediately! Submit your Episode 100 banner to the Admins (and nopony else) by Thursday , June 11th at 11:59 PM (EST). Banner Contest Theme - Celebrating 100 Episodes On June 13th Friendship is Magic will air its 100th episode. In animation, that is a huge deal. What better to celebrate this momentous occasion over the weeks that follow than with a series of banners celebrating this episode and the history of the show? It has been a long journey from Friendship is Magic to Slice of Life. So for this theme we are looking for the following: Memorable moments from past episodes. This show has given us no shortage of encapsulated wonder, heart melting adorableness, heartfelt scenes, and showstopping songs. Focus of one moment in time of any previously aired episode and banner it up with style ... STYLE I SAY. Or create a banner that showcases an entire episode. (inb4 50 Smile Song themed entries). We want to also throw up a specific banner for Episode 100 on the day that it airs. This will not be a forum voted contest entry but specific for the 4th week banner with the winner selected by staff. We know only a little about the episode, so please use the synopsis and leaks ... or focus on something that screams ... 100 episodes! Non Contest Banner Submissions - AKA We like Season 5 Pls Thx At anytime should you wish to submit a banner highlighting a Season 5 episode ... please do. We are more apt to run these on the fly in season while we are so hyped for Pony. We used to run a lot on these even if just for a few days. PM these to all Admins These may not run a full week depending on contest timing (winners of contests get a full week). I can has Rarity Episode 100 banner? Banner Contest Rules. For those who don't know, we used to have banner contests every month. Each time, we had a different theme, usually based around a pony. The winning submission, chosen by our wonderful members, would be used as the site's banner. We now do contests a bit differently this time. Four weeks, four banners In the past, the winning banner was used for a month. Now, we'll have a new banner each week. For three of those weeks, we'll be using the top three banners in the contest. For the fourth week (not necessarily the last), we'll spice things up a bit. Three things can happen at this point: 1) the staff pick a fourth banner from the existing contest submissions, 2) we ask members to make a banner under a special theme (e.g., an international holiday or other special event), or 3) you send us a submission of your choosing (bonus points if it's episode related!). This also means... You can use any pony (or ponies) you want In the past, we allowed only certain ponies to be used in each contest. For example, one month was all about Applejack. Another was about the CMC. The rationale behind this was simple: to give less popular ponies a shot at success. But that was when we had one winner. Now that we have four (three for the contest, and one for the bonus), that's much less of a problem. Finally... Don't hesitate to send us banners outside of contests! Seriously, we love it when you send us banners! If you want to show off your creative talent, that fourth slot could very well be yours. Go nuts! General rules and submission instructions - Banners should be approximately 1000x255 pixels and saved as a .png file. More info here - Send contest submissions to the Admins (and nobody else) via PM - Send bonus (fourth week) submissions to all the admins in one PM. This can be done at any time during the month - One entry per member (with the exception of non contest submissions) - All entries must adhere to the current theme, but creative liberties may be taken (to fit an airing FiM episode, for example) - Anyone who wishes to edit an entry that has already been sent may do so, as long as the revised version is submitted by the deadline - All entries must have the name of the forums, MLP Forums, as well as being pony-centric and related to the show in some way. That being said, feel free to be creative! - All forum rules still apply. Any entries that do not adhere to these rules will not be accepted - Please do not post your entries anywhere else on the forums until after the winners have been announced. Although we can understand your excitement to show others your hard work, please keep them under wraps - Please put Banner Submission in the PM subject line
  9. Everypony we haz bannerz! Here are the May 2015 Banner selections. The theme was Artists Choice (not Luna ... it just happened that way). Remember vote for your TOP THREE banners. Voting will close tentatively on Sunday 11:59 PM EST. Depending on votes cast we may extend it. If you submitted a banner but don't see yours ... don't panic ... PM the Admins directly and we'll sort it out. Also keep your eye on Canterlot Castle as we will be launching the NEW contest very very soon as it is time sensitive. Also if you see Aquila giving me the look of disapproval in here ... it means I made a mistake somewhere. NOW VOTE!
  10. It's been a long time since I last submitted a banner to the forums here and that was back before they changed the whole layout here to the current one. If someone could help me where could I go to submit my banner perhaps? Thanks~
  11. Important note: Please read the general rules below before submitting your banner. Otherwise, it may not be accepted! Submit your banner to Child of Hiigara (and nobody else) by Wednesday, March 25 at 11:59 PM (PDT). Voting begins immediately! Banner contests are back! Sorry for the delay, folks. Hopefully, we'll be able to get banner contests up regularly from now on. For those who don't know, we used to have banner contests every month. Although we can understand your excitement to show others your hard work, please keep them under wraps This month's theme: Springtime! - Must showcase an aspect of the season spring - Must highlight at least one pony of your choice If you have any other questions or comments, let us know down below. And so, without further ado, let's begin. Good luck and have fun!
  12. So yeah, the voting thread's up a bit late. Sorry about that! This month, we have 10 candidate banners! Voting will (tentatively) end at Wednesday, 11:59 PM PDT. However, if we don't receive enough votes by then, we can extend the voting period as needed.
  13. Update II: Congratulations to @FadedSkies for his winning banner! Update: Polls are now open, so be sure to check out the voting thread and show your support for your favorite entry! Alright my little ponies! It's been a little while since our last banner contest and I thinks it's about time we fixed that. So fire up your computers and get ready for the MLP Forums Banner Contest II! As always, all are more than welcome to join in on the fun and make a submission. For those new to creating banners and wish to know more on how they work, this thread may be useful and give you a fundamental understanding on the art. Similar to the last competition, anyone interested in participating can send their finished submissions to me via PM within the submission period. After the submission period has closed, a voting thread will be posted in Octavia's Hall with all entries listed where all members can vote for their favorite (a link will be provided in this thread once the polls open). After the voting has concluded, the winning submission will then be the new forum's banner for the month, your work taking the spotlight for all to see! And now for some rules (Sorry Discord, no unbounded chaos today): Starting Date: Right Now! Due Date: Saturday, Sept. 20th 11:59 PM (EST) Voting Open: Saturday, Sept. 20th 11:59 PM (EST) Voting Closes: Saturday, Sept. 27th 11:59 PM (EST) -One entry per member -All submissions must be sent to me (SkyBound) through a PM by the due date. -Anyone who wished to edit an entry that has already been sent may due so, so long as the revised version is submitted before the due date. -All entries must have the name of the forums, MLP Forums, as well as being pony-centric and related to the show in some way. That being said, feel free to be creative! -All forum rules still apply. Any entries that do not adhere to these rules will not be accepted. -Please do not post your entries anywhere else on the forums until after the voting has ended. While I can understand your excitement to show others your hard work, keep in mind that all submissions that are posted in the voting thread are done so without any artists' names attached, thus keeping the contest on a level and fair playing field. I believe that covers just about everything. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to ask by either posting in the thread or by shooting me a PM. I'll be more than happy to help in any way I can. I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful submissions you have in store for us. Good luck and have fun!

    Request Shop Signature/banners

i have recently started making banners for peoples signatures and or facebook pages, and found that im not half bad at it, and id like to start making for people on here if you want. i need the practice and i like doing them. http://dastenstanton.imgur.com/all those are just a few that i have done. i hope you like them.
  15. I've noticed that MLPForum's banner-making guidelines have not been updated. Being a person that likes to make graphics, I wanted to try another shot at making banners, but I don't know the new format. Is this privilege exclusive now? If so, why?
  16. Even though I am fairly mediocre at most of what I do, I thought I would share with you some of the stuff I have made. I have a banner thread and a sig thread so, I am unsure if I will replace those with this or just keep those for banners and sigs specifically. Not sure yet. I do not have many other things besides banners made yet, but I will post them here when I do. Even though I am horrible at handling criticism (yay no self esteem), if you want to give me advice, go ahead...I am fairly new to vectoring and technically wallpapers as well. I use Photoshop CS5. Wallpapers ^(My first wallpaper, made in about 5 minutes)^ ^(I may add more to this over time)^ ^(Done this one fairly quick, will do more edits over time)^ Vectors Project 'Wing it' IThis is a random idea that I did. I am taking random vectors of Twilight Sparkle that I have gathered over the past year and I am picking ones that are pre-MMC and I am adding wings to them. I take no credit for the original vectors themselves, I only added the wings for these. It was just a fun and random idea I had, fueled by my Twilicorn obsession. I know that some of them will look odd, I will try to fix those eventually I also know that they may not look completely accurate but they don't always have to be I guess.) (More to be added eventually) Other Stuff (^One of my first edits, done a long while ago^) More will be added over time.

    Kyoshi's Banner Thread

So....since most of my newer stuff is not going to be used, apparently, I have decided to share these things with you all. Not that it matters because they are incredibly mediocre. As you can tell, I have improved over time (I will post them in order, or try to) but I have not gone past mediocre level. So, here you go. [ I will add more as I make them, if I do. My motivation has dropped lately. I can never tell if any of these are going to be used so...yeah.
  18. Hi all! I'm Iridian, and I love making graphics. I can make signatures, avatars, wallpapers, and whatever else you can think of that doesn't include drawing. Requests are: OPEN Rules 1. Don't claim my work as your own. 2. Credit is appreciated, but not required. 3. Be nice. 4. If you don't like how your request turned out, ask me to redo it! To request, just tell me what you want - the dimensions, color scheme, theme, and any image(s) you want me to use are all helpful details. The default size for signatures is 600x100, please tell me if you want yours subscriber size. Here are a few examples of stuff I've made in the past:
  19. Introduction Alright my beauties, this thread is not a signature request thread, but more of a "Drop in, grab a signature, and leave." I'll post all my signatures that aren't made for anyone specific, but for everyone. So all the signatures in this thread are FREE, you don't need permission to use them. Guidelines/Side Notes - Please, for the love of God, remember: THIS ISN'T A REQUEST THREAD. - As I said, all these signatures are free of use. - Please type this below your signature: "Signature made by Prydz" Artwork Donor Signatures Regular Signatures
  20. After many hours of playing Mount and Blade: Napoleonic Wars, I began growing a deep curiosity for the Napoleonic era. The sights, the uniforms, the battles... The moustaches! Facial hair of all shapes and styles, painted on the faces of brave heroes and commanders! So, I sunk myself into studying this most chivalrous time period. Every page I read, every map I stared at, every painting I had the honour to regard gave me great ideas, and when I coupled them with my interest for videogame development, a wild Pinkie Pie came out of nowhere and placed a lit bulb oil lamp on my head. Now, I want to show you the result of said ideas. Most of my works will remain in the Flying Squirrel Entertainment forums, which you can access by clicking on the big header on top of this post. Right! So, on with the good stuff. Here you have a list of all my released skins, with links to their previews on the FSE forums. Bear in mind a recent patch has BROKEN most of these, and it's taking me quite a bit of time to fix the stuff. 82nd "Prince of Wales' Own Volunteers" (replace 33rd, Coldstream and 51st) -Download Here - Preview page 1 (down below) 47th Lancashire Regt All Companies (replace 33rd, 51st, Coldstream and Sapper) -Download Here -Preview page 2 43rd Monmouthshire Regt Light Infantry (replace 51st) -Download Here -Preview page 2 29th Worcestershire Regt All Companies (replace 33rd, 51st, Coldstream, Wellington and Sapper) -Download Here - Preview page 3 28th Gloucestershire Regt Grenadier Company (replace Coldstream) -Download Here -Preview page 5 41st Regiment of Foot Grenadier Company (replace Coldstream) -Download Here -Preview page 10 79th Cameron Highlanders Centre Company (replace 42nd Highlanders) -Download Here -Preview page 13 Canadian Fencible Regiment (Replace 33rd) -Download Here -Preview page 15. I've also been making, upon clans' requests, regimental forum thread dividers and custom avatars. For the latter, my most sincere thanks to Mr. Alexis Cabaret, owner of the Mont St. Jean website, who provided me with all the templates. Regimental Dividers: Avatars: To finish this, my favourite skin so far, the 29th Worcestershire Regiment of Foot: 29th Regiment of Foot's March: Royal Windsor His Britannic Majesty's 29th (Worcestershire) Regiment of Foot -The Guards of the Line- "I wish very much that some measures could be adopted to get recruits for the 29th Regiment, it is the best Regiment in this Army, has an admirable internal system and excellent Non-Commissioned Officers." -Sir Arthur Wellesley, Viscount Wellington, September 12th, 1809- Portraits: Private Soldiers: Centre Company: Every battalion in the British regular army consisted of 10 companies. The first eight were the Centre companies. These were the standard line infantry companies of a regiment, and conformed the bulk of Viscount Wellington's army in the Peninsula. Grenadier Company: The Grenadier, also known as Right Flank company, was the elite shock force of every regiment. In their beginnings, the Grenadiers were the strongest and tallest men of the British army. They were hand picked by the regiment's colonel, and were given pouches with grenades to hurl at the enemy. After the use of grenades was discontinued, the Grenadiers remained as the strongest and most stalwart men of the battalion. Light Company: The need of skirmishers in the British army impulsed the creation of the Light companies. These were formed by the younger, perhaps skinnier soldiers of the battalion, and were trained for skirmishing and urban combat. By the early 1800's, the British army had one of the best skirmishers in Europe, only seconded by the Prussian and Austrian riflemen. Colour Serjeant: The Colour Serjeants were those in charge of defending the colour bearers, and if necessary, take said colours themselves and keep them safe. Ensigns: Ensigns were the lowest ranking officers in the army, and tended to be quite young and inexperienced. However, most of them were entrusted with taking the colours into battle. Grenadier Company: Light Company: Officers: The officers, as the name states, were those men who held office in the British army, and in order to get said office, they had to pay large sums of money to purchase their commissions. Only 10% of all officers during the Peninsular campaign were risen from the ranks. Centre Company Captain: Grenadier Company Captain: Light Company Lieutenant: Musician Corps: Note that Fifers and Drummers are black. Between 1759, after the capture of Guadeloupe, and 1843, many segregated black men and freed slaves chose to leave their old lives behind and enlist as musicians in the 29th Regiment of Foot. Fifer: Drummer: Bugler: Extras; Sapper Serjeant, Grenadier Company: Every Grenadier company had sapper serjeants. These were the strongest of the company, and were the only ones allowed (and encouraged) to have beards. They brandished big axes into battle, and had the task of scaring the cr*p out of the enemy, as well as destroy their defensive positions. The Colours: The two most important devices of the 29th Regiment. Each battalion was entrusted two flags, and were used as beacons to rally the men. The first colour was the King's colour, a union jack with a red shield in the centre, surrounded by a rose and thistle wreath. The second colour was the Regimental colour, which was painted in the regimental facing colour. It held an union jack in the canton, together with the shield and wreath in the centre. Lieutenant Colonel Sir Gregory Holman Bromley Way: Sir Gregory was the commanding officer of the 29th Foot during the Peninsular War, and was present at both battles of Talavera and Albuera, the two most important engagements in the Worcestershire Regiment's history. James Grant -3rd Regiment of Foot guards - He provided his glorious all knowing book of British uniforms. Guardsman Masters - 29th Regiment - Aided me with special details not mentioned in James' book. BetaKnight - Moral support and tips on how to do stuff. Attila The Nun - Moral support and aiding me with modelling. 29th Regiment of Foot - Testing the earlier versions of this skin and moral support. 82nd Regiment of Foot - Ibíd. Blankman - Moral support. This project in particular was the single biggest one I've worked on so far. Making this skin took me over two months (Released first version for 29th only on early January 2013), and to be honest, this skin and 47th's were the toughest ones to make since my arrival in the NW modding community. I hope you like this. Far too many people were involved in the making, and many put their effort into making this skin looks as it does now. Many thanks to those who gave me a hand, be it with testing, actual development or simply downloading the earlier versions for fun.
  21. Just like the brony fandom itself, the MLP Forums is full of so many creative bronies who are willing to lay out their interest to contribute artistically to the community, however polished or messy it can be. One of these areas, though, that needs catching up is graphic designing, which deals with more than laying out a drawing. It's displaying and visually selling your work in the form of conservation, hierarchy, color, typography, etc. Like the background of both the MLP Forums and now Pony.fm, the weekly rotating banners show this desire to promote some very good design. Despite some weaknesses as what I wrote in my two reviews, we're seemingly on our way towards designing great graphic design. But there has been one consistent criticism from me lately: the visual hierarchy, mostly due to the inner glow of the navigation, icons, and tabs. Because of the glow, the buttons appear brighter than they should, disturbing the hierarchy. Earlier today, I reviewed through this thread and noticed that the buttons are missing. The template and positioning for the navigation are available, but not the actual content. Jokuc below posted a better template below, but it still didn't thoroughly help. What I'm saying here is that without the designs of the buttons, then no matter what hexidecimal color the designers can display or e-mail to the Technical Administration, it's going to be much more difficult to see: the visual hierarchy. what the banner would look like as if it's published on the forums — banner and navigation package (rather than like this without the navigation — Credit goes to ~Cider Barrel~ for this great banner). Currently, the only way you can tell if the design is extremely successful is when the banner is displayed online. Furthermore, because of the lack of navigation comps, you can't tell if the little arrow next to the "View New Content" button will be easily seen when it's either hovered or inactive. In its current state, the arrow camouflages with the pink and is only extremely visible once the cursor hovers over it. If the button and arrow were also available, then this oversight would've been noticed much quicker. So, if you're able to, along with the template of the banner, I propose including the navigation; tabs; buttons; arrow; etc. in all of its formats: inactive, hovered, and active; the strokes/borders that surround them, and the inner glow effect layering above them. With the buttons available, the designers can see the layout of their banner as if it's displayed online atop the forum and then go back and make changes to solidify it more if needed. With the current resources, you can't see the finished product unless it's online, but the comps of the navigation's availability would make the process much easier.
  22. I am trying to make a banner, but I can't rotate the text. Here's a couple of images of what I mean. Here's the start, with the text I want to rotate in a text box (it's on it's own layer): And I try to rotate it, everything looks cool, right? Whole text box appears to move: But then this happens, the actual text and text box are separated, and the text itself moves, but the original box does not. As a result of the text still being confined to the box, only the section still "in" the box is visible. The rest is cut off: WTF is going on? How can I fix this?

    Banners

The new MLP Forum banner looks awesome, but...it makes Applejack's seem stupid in comparison. Anyway, what do you think about banners? I've only seen two so far, AJ's and RD's, and I'd like to ask you all what banners you've seen so far and share them, because I've only seen two. EDIT: OMG! SORRY! WRONG SUBFORUM! D:
  24. Since I joined the forums back in July, I saw that others were making signatures/avatars for others on here. After seeing some of the work, I was amazing & made me interested in learning how to make them. I started looking up Photoshop tutorials etc. since I had never used photoshop before. So these are some signatures that I have made since I have been a member here In order from the first I made to the most recent First signature 2nd Sig. 3rd Sig. Soul Eater stuff 4th Sig. 25. So I've decided that I'd like to expand my knowledge about the wide world of art, and I thought no better thing to start with than the thing that pops up every time I go to mlpforums.com: BANNERS!! So, if it's okay with somepony out there to take time out of their busy schedule to teach(or give pointers to) a willing person how to make one, I would appreciate it greatly!!!
