  1. I thought this would be a nice topic to start off. Basically you have to say how famous/popular E.C.T you are on the forums. I think it will be quite cool to see what people think about themselves! So the rules are say how famous you think you are, and there is an option to say how famous the person above you is to! I think I am average, I am only a bunny and people don't see me that much. I would rate myself 7.1/10
  2. I always wanted to know, which famous actors, musicians, etc are bronies. I know that skillrex, Reese Roper, Justin Beiber, and the Creator of Minecraft are bronies. I wanted to know, who else is?
  3. Who are the people you admire? Why do you admire them? Most people have someone that they look up to. It may be a family member, it may be a business colleague, it may be a friend, or it may be someone famous. You've probably been asked this question before, but have you truly given it much thought? Have those people you look up to truly helped shaped your persona? Personally I have never admired anyone in a way that influenced me and perhaps that in a way has reflected on me. So the question stands, Who do you admire and Why?
  4. Doesn't necessarily have to be someone known by all, could be someone who is just starting up or that is known well enough locally. Though if you ever met someone rather popular that would be interesting.
  5. I was watching the Hunger Games, and I thought of this idea... What if there was a tv channel that existed solely for the purpose of documenting every post on this forum? Would you still be on this website? Would the prospect of potential fame and notoriety make you want to post even more? Assuming that the show had a lot of viewers.
  6. Have you ever met someone famous? I haven't met anyone extremely famous, like Beyoncé-famous, but I have had the privilege of meeting these people who are noteworthy for one reason or another: - Pat Benatar: Singer who was most popular in the 80s. You probably know "Heartbreaker" or "Hit Me With Your Best Shot." - Fred Couples: Professional golfer. Won The Masters in 1992. - Gabriel Landeskog: NHL player from the Colorado Avalanche. Currently the team's captain. - Milan Hejduk: Former NHL player from the Colorado Avalanche. Stanley Cup winner. Potentially a future hockey hall of famer. - Pierre Turgeon: Former NHL player and current assistant coach with the Los Angeles Kings. - Demaryius Thomas: Denver Broncos star. Super Bowl winner. 5-time Pro Bowl selection. - Kenny Wallace: Former NASCAR driver. Brother of NASCAR champion Rusty Wallace. @Lucky Bolt better know this one. - Kyle Petty: Former NASCAR driver and current broadcaster. The son of Richard Petty, who is widely considered the greatest NASCAR driver of all time. - David Copperfield: The most commercially successful magician/illusionist of all time, with a long career that would make the Great and Powerful Trixie extremely jealous. - Eric Johnson: Grammy Award-winning solo guitarist. Listen to his composition "Cliffs of Dover" and you will be amazed. - Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard, and Chris Wolstenholme: Members of the successful rock band Muse. - Ken Buck: Member of the US House of Representatives from Colorado. - Various local news personalities from the Denver area. - I went to school from 1st grade to senior year of high school with a singer named Kristi Hoopes who appeared on The Voice this year. She was eliminated very early but she did make it far enough to gain some recognition.
  7. As of yesterday (June 23, 2016), the World-Famous North American Privately-owned zoo in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada (where I live right now), known for the use of its animals in Hollywood films (Life of Pi is one good example), documentaries, etc., has announced that they will shutdown after the 2016 season. I am very saddened by this, it's not even funny. I've only been there once when I was very young. It all started when PETA misleadingly showed the world that the owner was being abusive to one of the tigers late last year, and because of that I hate them for it. They have ruined the reputation of a privately-owned zoo that was highly respected for many efforts. It will shut down 3 YEARS shy of its 100-year Anniversary. Now I have to chase the opportunity to visit it once more this summer before it closes down for good.
  8. "Back to pony!" As they say. This is the official beginning of "RealityPublishing's Tales of Unfortunate Tails: Season 2", and I am glad to be back. After a month and a half, I'm finally going to release part 2 of, "My Interpretation of the Brony Fandom". It's been a while, but I'm glad I waited because while surfing the web, I discovered something that I thought I'd share. Last time, I talked more about why the fandom is dying and how it's nothing more than a perception of what we think of it. This time, however, I've got a little more up my sleeve. Something that really bends the behind-the-scenes. Now, originally, I was going to pin everything down on EquestriaDaily, but I suddenly realized they weren't at fault. Someone else was. So let's return to our original question: "Is the Fandom Dying? If so, how can we save it?" Now, why is this fandom different from all other fandoms? What many believe is that we are all together no matter what. We'll stick up for each other because we have been seen putting the morals of Friendship is Magic to heart. While this may or may not be true, we're not all together. As I said in Part 1, in order to save the fandom is to create content of our own, but here's a contradiction: "How can we save the fandom, if nobody watches our stuff?" I'm going to talk about something that is relevant one way or another. Whether or not you want to be one of these people is completely up to you, but it still decides our fate. I'm talking about Horse-Fame, a level of respect gained in the Brony fandom. Horse-fame is depicted by the amount of content and attention that person is getting and whether or not they can keep up. The problem about Horse-Fame is that it's been established since the dawn of MLP Season 1. We all know who LittleshyFiM, KP, BlackGryph0n, EurobeatBrony, and TheLivingTombstone are. Sure, they weren't horse-famous overnight, but it was a lot easier than what many of us have to do today to hit that first thousand views. With those big names set in stone, who are we to argue with the big leagues? How can the fandom survive if they disappear? Now, the reason I was going to give EquestriaDaily the blame was because I thought they only posted "big names" and their work. No, that is wrong. EquestriaDaily is the one promoting smaller bronies and their written work. However, there are some groups that continue to promote the more popular ponies instead of turning to the surviving talent. Yes, people are growing day by day, but there is much more talent going around than we appear to see. We can't stand in the shadows of those whom cast them. We have to create a name for ourselves. Write what you have on mind! Play the songs that appear in your head! Be inspired! There is nothing wrong with Horse-Fame, but when it is used as an exclusive club to promote themselves, then it is at fault. What does this have to do with a dying fandom? Everything. With our figureheads stepping down from their throne, only to leave a legacy, it makes us all turn our heads and think. When the empire falls, so do the people. We need to create figures of our own; we need to decide. I have seen many underrated works in this community, the MLPForums, but they don't receive the attention they deserve. Music creators all gather here and share their works; they collaborate. Writers come here to show off their work and help others to edit. These forums have an entire section devoted to helping those in need. If brony community is generally known to help others, where are the Horse-Famous ponies when we need them? -RealityPublishing
  9. The mane 6 saved Equestria multiple times. Why aren't they praised as heroines? Everypony treats them like normal and not with proper respect I think. Let's look at some of their accomplishments. Mane 6: Saved Equestria from eternal night. Saved Equestria from Discord. Saved Canterlot from the Changlings. Twilight: Vanquished an Ersa Minor. Lured Cerberus away from Ponyville. Got her friends back from Discord's influence. Applejack: Saved Ponyville from stampedes.... can't remember more but I know there's a lot. Fluttershy: Convinced a DRAGON to leave Equestria. Pushed the Pegasus tornado over the hump. Rainbow Dash: Sonic Rainboom! Saved the wonderbolts and Rarity among a public crowd. I think you get the idea. Why aren't they celebrities? They have their own stain glass pane in Canterlot Castle!
  10. When I say horse famous it typically means Bronies that are famous for their animations or Voice acting or podcasts etc. I have so many favorites that I can't name them here. XD (I'm lazy) Who is your favorite horse famous Brony?
  11. Five years into the future, the brony fandom is a larger demographic than some religions. You decide to become rich and famous by becoming the latest brony celebrity. The only catch: fandom fame is harder to come by than ever before. So what do you do?
  12. Who is your favorite Brony, also known as horsefamous, and why?
  13. I seem to be making topics like this a bit too often, but yet again ... lend your tips and knowledge. Together, let us create the ultimate how to guide!
  14. As the title suggests, who do you want to have as a guest star for the show? When I talk about celebrities, I'm talking about either IRL actors or actresses (Leonardo DiCaprio or Nicolas Cage). We're not going for already established voice actors in animations though. Honestly though, I'd be totally cool with Johnny Depp as a guest. So who's on your guest list?
  15. Ill be honest with you, I just want more qoutes to throw around so i look smart (-er than i already am, haha). So heres how we will do it: each new post needs 1-3 quotes that either the quote itself is famous, the person who said it is famous, or both. No quotes from your 6th grade English teacher. Ill start: "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse" - Henry Ford "When ignorance is bliss, tis folly to be wise" - Thomas Gray "If you know your enemy, and you know yourself, you need not fear the result of one hundred battles" - Sun Tzu
  16. So we all know the fandom has a lot of Horse famous ponies. Have you ever seen any on the forums? Or do you have any theories that some are here but hiding with false identities? Personally I know BronyDanceParty has an account here but he abandoned it. I also have a theory that I<3KPALot has an account here but I have no evidence to prove it except an account or two that looks like it would be hers. And for people who don't care and felt there time was wasted here, here's a gif of Twilight eating a bird:
  17. Just a little shoutout from one pegasister to another I, being a female here on the forums, feel very welcomed by everypony, despite their gender. Whether they be male or female we all share the same love for pony. So my question to you is: How do you feel about being female on this forum? Do you feel out of place or right at home? Are you public about your femininity or more mysterious? Do you contribute to the fandom just as much as the boys? Share any and all thoughts on the subject
  18. All right, if any famous brony joined the forums, whether it be a reivewer, musician, animator or whatever, who would you want it to be? It would be cool to see people like Mr. Enter or VoiceofReason join or even DrWolf seems nice. Also, maybe people at Jan Animations would be nice. So discuss away!
  19. Recently, when reading the thread about Dr.Wolf's YouTube account being blocked (and ultimately restored), I was wondering about one thing... I know of several famous Bronies such as Dr.Wolf from their YouTube channels. I also know some from DeviantArt, or from video recordings from Brony conventions. Some Brony musicians. Famous bronies, who are recognizable in the Brony community for what they do. But I see none of them here at these forums! NONE! How is this even possible? Shouldn't they figure out long time ago that such a forum exists? I don't know of any other MLP-related forum as big as this one. So why aren't they here with us? Why wasn't Dr.Wolf here to tell us what's going on first-hoof? Why had we discuss his case "behind his backs", so to speak? So I've got this idea: What if every one of us who knows some famous Brony or Pegasister, just invite him/her here to this forum? Maybe they really don't know that such forum exists and it's enough to let them know? What do you think? Once I tried to invite here a guy from DeviantArt who mapped the whole Ponyville, when I was trying to do the same with the Golden Oak Library. (Unfortunately, from some unknown reasons, I hadn't succeeded.) I would be glad to invite some YouTubers I know, if only Google didn't require me to sing in to their Google+ crap some time ago, after which I dropped my YouTube account altogether. But maybe you guys can invite some people you know? It would be fun if they could appear here and talk with us; people like BlackGryph0n, ACRaceBest, Ratchetness, SaberSpark, Dr.Wolff, Jan Animations, Zachary Rich (Double Rainboom's director), YapLap, Jessi "Nowacking" Nowack (fan voice of Vinyl Scratch), peeps from Equestria Reflections, or any other people you know from YouTube, DeviantArt or whatever. If I count correctly, it's been three years since the Brony fandom exists, and we still are not united enough? This is weird and needs fixin' That's why I got this idea to invite those people here. Bronies, unite!
  20. We'll tell me if you do and i do have a crush on two famous actors. I have a crush on these two famous actor's alot but there older then me: 1.Christopher Walken (He's 70 years old i only have a crush on him because he is handsome and has a good voice and hes funny and is a good actor! and i like how he acts in two movies i like watching(We'll one is embrassing if i say it but oh we'll) 2.Matt Smith (He is 30 something years old why i have a crush on him is because hes handsome and hes a good actor and hes funny and i like how he acts in doctor who) (Info of why there older then me:I'm 16 years old thats why there older then me)
  21. For example, much of my works involve these: (LOOK CAREFULLY) * absurdism * medieval kingdoms * romance * horses, ponies (especially miserable Shetties), blue jays, crows, ravens, and cockatoos doing weird things * aliens * wars * politics * a lot of anachronism * fictional kingdoms vs republics * people visiting and "civilising/influencing" exotic lands * diplomacy and international politics * space * music (and poems) * descriptions of media and services (e.g. TV stations and railways) * mockery of fangirls, Average Joes and Janes, and Shetland Ponies(* gods and pantheons) But never these (hopefully): * cliches * cliches * moar cliches * childish elements * worthless elements YA novels and Twilight (the novel) has * sorcery * sex of any form. I would fear that if a fanbase emerges from any of my works, they will fall into the twisted path of the Beliebers and Twihards. Can you help me do things to avert/stop this from happening, otherwise my future works will end up in the trash-bin/bonfire of history?
  22. Name a celebrity or notable person who you think is a jerk, tool, witch, whatever negative name you want to give them. I'll go with Russell Brand. He just has that tool vibe where he'll be rude to you then make fun of how you look or what you do for a living because he has a high opinion of himself and his work. Also, he took Katy Perry off the market and then totally blew it. For that, he's the recipient of my slam.
  23. Hello everybody (and “every-pony”). First, here’s a question for all of you: Where is one of the best places to look for Stars (besides the sky)? The Hollywood Walk of Fame is one excellent place you’ll find lots of stars, and it would seem that they still have room for many more. Yes, so many well known figures in media at least many of us look up to have one or more stars on that Walk of Fame we call Hollywood : -Take Fred Rogers for example; he’ll forever be remembered as a true pioneer in children’s television and a dedicated advocate for nurturing public television. Why wouldn’t he deserve a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: -There’s also Jack Webb; he’s best known as the producer of classic television shows including but not limited to “Adam-12”, “Emergency” and of course “Dragnet” (in which he also played the title character, “Joe Friday”; and he certainly knew how to make a statement). He carries a badge and 2 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (1 for Radio, 1 for Television). -And of course, there’s Jim Henson and his Muppets. I think I need not say more with this one. Not only does Jim Henson himself have a star, but so does Big Bird and Kermit The Frog. -Hanna Barbera has a Star, The Rugrats have a Star, Neil Patrick Harris (from “Doogie Howser M.D.”) has a Star, even Shrek (from Dreamworks’ adaption of “Shrek!”) has a Star (hmm… perhaps Dr. De Soto should try for one too). Now here’s a very special “Star” from the historical Apollo 11 mission to the Moon, which was broadcast on TV: Now how about “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”? I’m certain many of you will agree that this franchise deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After all, MLP:FiM transformed the My Littile Pony toy line from just another average line of toys for girls into a popular, amazing and fantastic icon that is inspiring so many people. MLP:FiM also helped to launch “The Hub Network”, which we can all agree is one of the best things to happen in today’s television and is a role model for what good television should look like. The stories are robust and have "an edge" and there are eye-popping stunts (such as Twilight accidentally knocking a vase of flowers off her table in “The Ticket Master”), and yet the show is still able to be mentally healthy, moral, nurturing and informative as well as entertaining and charming to watch; in the immediate decade from before this show was aired, you would never have expected such a combination of edge and morality to work on Television. MLP:FiM has also inspired a sort of movement that no other television show has: the “Brony” movement. The Brony movement has encouraged people to further proliferate the show and the nourishing moral values and messages of Friendship, Harmony and Collective Wellbeing the show delivers; it has encouraged viewers to make suggestions and contributions to the show on a larger scale than any other show before it; the movement has encouraged artists to turn to the show for inspiration, and I am very pleased to see charming works of art such as “Snowdrop”, “Children of the Night”, plush toys and many of those “OCs” such as Lauren Faust’s self portrait of herself as an Alicorn; and it has encouraged people or organize for philanthropic purposes and help make the world a better place, “Bronies for Good” is one notable example. I also really enjoy seeing the show’s crew getting involved with the “Brony” movement and/or general fandom; and what other show’s crew gets involved with its viewers and listens to them on such as large scale? My point is that while I can understand that many might think otherwise, I think we can agree that “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” is indeed a pioneering television program unlike any program before it; and I therefore think that a special star should be dedicated to it on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. So here’s what we should do: Anybody reading this should organize a group and this group then starts a fundraiser on Kickstarter (or something similar) and gets a movement going; this movement should even try to get the show’s crew involved. One a large movement and adequate funding is attained, the movement should begin making plans for and pushing for a special star on the walk of fame. I personally would suggest a special star that’s shaped like Twilight Sparkle’s cute mark ( and the other 5 “mane six’s” cute marks surrounding. Each star needs to be approved; so I would also suggest starting a large petition for the show’s fans and general viewers to voice their support of a Star for MLP:FiM on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. See this page for more details: As one more suggestion, I would suggest spreading the word online, perhaps though posts on more forums, and though Art on DeviantArt and videos on YouTube that support a Special Star for MLP:FiM on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame; we should probably also try to get Equestria Daily to cover the movement. Well everybody (and “every-pony”), there you have it. I look forward to see what you all might do to push for a Special Star for MLP:FiM on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame; you can let me know on this topic. -“Stay ‘Pony’ My Friends”
