  1. Bethesda just teased a new Fallout title! Turns out they didn't build up 2 days worth of hype just for a switch port or remaster after all.
  2. Games. Games are fun! Definitely. Well, not always. Sometimes. games can be frustrating and not in a good way either. A game can sometimes anger us and just make us feel oh so frustrated and the results may not be good. For some of us this may happen rarely but for others it could be a common occurrence due to one reason or another. So I want to ask and discuss, do video games tend to frustrate you easily? What is your history with this? Me, they do frustrate me easily. My whole life I have had anger problems, yay for bad mental health. It has been a big problem in the past and nowadays, I try my hardest to avoid playing games that could potentially frustrate me to a high degree. Often, if I get frustrated enough, this could result in a meltdown and that never ends well, since it can result to me...well, hitting my face. I am autistic before you ask. So those moments are not good, especially in combination with my anxiety problems, so I try to avoid those moments at all costs now.

    Gaming Online Gamer Trolls

In this thread, we talk about our experiences trolling others in online games. Keep in mind, this refers to harmless trolling, NOT harrassment or bullying.
  4. So, are there any other fans of the Sonic The Hedgehog series using this forum? I've come across a few before, but they are rare and hard to come by, I'm serious, finding other Sonic fans is hard enough but finding someone who's a fan of BOTH? I must be mentally insane and hallucinated it or I have an insane amount of luck. I think It's mainly because the Sonic series in general has been beaten, spat on, kicked to the ground and made an absolute meme and joke of by the community of the internet, to the point where the official Twitter and Facebook just roll with it and go with the everlasting meme flow. This sadly turns off most potential future fans along with the fact that some of the fanbase can be REALLY arrogant and abusive. (Seriously guys, It's been over 10 years of pleading and begging, we clearly aren't getting Sonic Adventure 3, we need to move on.). Because you know what, I think most of the games are pretty fun, It's just the few absolute abominations like Shadow The Hedgehog, Sonic 06 and the Wii U Sonic Boom game that are legitimately worth dragging down, along with any other bad decisions SEGA made with the blue blur in the past I may have neglected to mention, though I'll admit some of the games like Heroes and the side games can be pretty mediocre at best. The original Genesis games are classics, the Adventure duology is adored by much of the fanbase, it seems to be the thought of gems like those games happening ever again that's the only thing keeping the hope for the series up from It's fans. Hey, this is all just my opinion though, so take it with a grain of salt. As for what SEGA needs to do to get their newer games from mediocre to great however, well, I think Jim Sterling said it best. SEGA needs to stop trying to innovate over and over again, come up with a good gameplay system like the boost system did, and keep improving on it over time rather than try to change everything every time.
  5. Basically The Mother games are a form of an RPG except its a parody. Plays like Dragon Quest/Warrior in some ways and takes place in a modern America (80s/90s) like setting. Pretty fun and hilarious games. First game in the franchise was Mother 1 for the Famicom (Japanese NES). It plays like Dragon Warrior/Quest and Final Fantasy for NES. Second is Mother 2 (AKA EarthBound) released on SNES and is considered to be one of the best RPGs on the Super Nintendo. Third is Mother 3 released on Gameboy Advance (in Japan). Have you heard of this series? If yes, then what are your thoughts?
  6. We always seems to discuss the best of everything, but what about letdowns? So did you ever bought a game that didn't quite live up to the hype or your expectations?
  7. Probably the scariest series I've played by FAR is Five Nights at Freddy. In no.3, Springtrap finished me off so the third game in the series is the scariest for me.
  8. I really cant guess mine at this time but as of now the Nintendo 64... Nostalgia of playing them old Mario and Zelda games and things you know?

    Gaming Worst Games Ever Played

Title speaks for itself. I'm really curious to hear your opinions and stories about the worst games you ever played in past or in the present. To keep things a little bit more interesting, I'm gonna talk about the games we played ourselves and not just the usual garbage like E.t. for the 2600 or Big Rigs. I mean the games we thought were good but left a bad taste in my mouth. Here's an example. Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island I rent it from my cousin years ago because I always wanted to play as Timmy Turner (as a huge fan of The Fairly OddParents back in its prime) but what I got was a short and shoddy platformer with a very thin and uninteresting plot, characters acting the same with very little gimmicks to make them unique, boring bosses (with the final boss being a copy-and-paste of the first one) and not playing the characters you want like this crossover is supposed to. I get to play as Timmy once in the game and Spongebob/Danny Phantom in the rest. Overall, a generally boring and plain game with a well-intended premise executed poorly.
  10. The Steam summer sale starts today. Let's discuss what is going on and such. My opinion on this is that I heard the game sucks and that Steam's servers are currently dying from the traffic.
  11. A fair number of us have played and enjoy video games. Which games mean the most to you? It can be a game that you really enjoy, or even a game that you grew up with as a child. You don't need to limit yourself to one. Just name the games that have the most meaning to you and if you want, give a brief explanation. Try not to go completely overboard, keep it to around 3-6 games please I'll start with mine: Super Mario 64 DS First Mario game I ever played and one of the first video games I played. I have memories of avidly exploring the castle and stages in the game. The variety of stages and the atmosphere of areas such as Jolly Roger Bay were amazing to my 5 year old self. The minigames were also a great time waster and I would spend hours playing. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 I remember when I finally beat this game at my grandma's house, in front of my family. That was one of the best feelings I ever had in my whole life. Pokémon X When I was real young, I was never particularly invested in the Pokémon series. That changed when I picked up this game in 2013. It was an absolute blast and I've beaten it 4 times. Mega Man 2 Not gonna lie, this game always used to kick my ass. I could never beat any of the robot masters and I always gave up. Although, as time passed, I got better and better. Eventually, when I was ready I played through it and beat it. Beating Wily with just a sliver of health and one life left, was the best thing ever. Super Smash Bros. Brawl Back in November 2013, I went to a local tournament. I did decent in all games except this one, because I had never played it before. After the tournament, I bought Brawl, just to get good at it for the next tournament. Truth be told, I didn't go to the next tournament, because I was having way too much fun with the game itself. Once I got this game, I didn't see sunlight for at least a week. There was also a water based racing game on the PC that I played when I was 4-5. I have such fond memories of it, but I cannot remember the name for the life of me. It's the absolute worst

Gaming What Games Got You Into Gaming?

Playing games like the Banjo Kazooie series, War Of The Monsters on Playstation 2, Destroy All Humans, Star Wars Battlefront games, Ratchet and Clank games, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, and oddly enough Simpsons Hit & Run, and Road Rage were the games that really got me into video games. I used to LOVE the atmosphere in Gauntlet Dark Legacy as a kid. It's one of the earliest memories that I have actually playing video games with my Dad, and my cousins.

    Gaming beamng things and stuff

Here we can discuss many things that are beamng such as the automation and beamng crossover or videos about the game in general. I'll start by saying that the crossover is exciting to see and that I'm attempting to go as fast as I can on the super car rally scenario. My controller gets no fb and the analog sticks only need half input about to go full throttle/steering so it's really difficult but here is my quickest attempt: Sorry about quality, not much I can do about it since youtube compression isn't the best.

  15. What is your favorite game in the Mario Kart series? I've played every game in the series but Mario Kart 8, and my favorite is Mario Kart Wii. I love its wide selection of tracks, karts, and players.
  16. So I played the game for a couple months and I ultimately loved it! I think I made it over 20 points or something... It all went well until my dad saw the game and deleted it. All data lost. Finished. Done.
  17. Hey I just got Warframe and ITS A BLAST! I played it a while ago and it was boring and repetitive but it has gotten a lot better, but playing solo can get lonely or just REALLY hard (especially on the bosses) so I went on the forums to make a thread looking for people who want to play Warframe with me. If you don't know what warframe is a game in which you are a Parkour, Space Ninja and kill aliens who have taken over the solar system. You use a multitude of weapons to kill them from bows, and sword to pistols and space guns, you can get it on steam for free and probably other places on the internet. SO IF YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH ME OR OTHER PEOPLE ON THE FORUMS POST BELOW: 1) Your username in warframe (SirBlazinGames) 2) Your steam name (SirBlazinGames) 3) Your warframe clan (Kitten Party) 1) SirBlazinGames 2) SirBlazinGames 3) Kitten Party
  18. This thread has been done before, but I wanted to make a poll so we could see which characters were people's favorites. Personally, I love Jigglypuff, Game and Watch, and Bowser, and I would say they're my mains.
  19. Even the best games ever made have THAT part, whether it's a level, a boss, puzzle, whatever, that are so annoying and frustrating that it brings the rest of the game down. For me, it's the Anor Londo Silver Knights in Dark Souls 1. If you try to block the arrows, you'll get knocked back, usually falling off the ledge and to your death. You just have to get lucky and make the Knight on the right fall off the ledge.

    Gaming DEATH BATTLE

Hey, everypony. ^^ I hope I'm not the only one here who's heard of ScrewAttack.com's infamous series: For those who know what I'm talking about, sweet! ^^ For those who may not, allow me to explain. ^^ Death Battle is a series where 2 characters from (usually) video games, have their "skills, weapons, and armor" completely analyzed by 2 awesome bros known as Wizard and Boomstick, to see who would win a fight. It's actually a really awesome series, I would highly recommend it to those who haven't watched it. ^^ Death Battle has answered some of the most common asked questions to "who would win a fight between x and x?" Some of their most infamous battles have been: Goku VS Superman Mario VS Sonic Spider-Man VS Batman and just for us Bronies Starscream VS Rainbow Dash This series is really cool, and I think there's some serious discussion behind all this. ^^ Today, they have just released their newest Death Battle: Luigi VS Tails Now, take these with a grain of salt, because there's a lot more battles then these I've just named. ^^ For those who have already seen the videos and wish to discuss, I ask that you keep spoiling parts under spoiler tags. Oh, and did I mention that they animate a fight at the end of the videos? Very cool! ^^ So, that's about it. ^^" I'm not entirely sure where to start discussion besides saying that today's Luigi VS Tails battle was amazing! ^^ Has anyone else seen it yet? ^^
  21. No third party support, and long software droughts. Looks like another Wii U to me.

  24. I thought I made this thread before, but apparently not. So, here it is! There is a recent purchases thread in general discussion, but this will be specifically for anything gaming related. ^__^ So if you have bought anything that is in the category of gaming, share it here! I will say this one now, tomorrow I will be buying the Attack on Titan game for Xbox One, since I cannot pre-order it. Really looking forward to it. :3
