  1. One of my biggest peeves in reviewing is giving something a calculated score, because it's very difficult if not impossible to reduce the quality to such a mark. Plus, whenever many people see a score, they tend to not read the review at all and rely on the score/grade itself as proof for purchase. Nonetheless, if I were to grade the following based on the following items below, they would be the followings below the first rule. The grades are respective and separated to the following categories: Season 1 Season 2 Season 3 Season 4 Season 5 Season 6 Season 7 Season 8 Season 9 MLP: The Movie & Specials Equestria Girls series, RR animated shorts, specials, and IDW comic/annual Main Comic Series* Micro-Series Friends Forever If you want to see my order of every FIM episode from best to worst (with grades), click here. 2. Prince Blueblood. The most handsome, eligible colt in Canterlot. Great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great nephew to Her Majesty Princess Celestia. (Yes, I actually counted the number of greats to get them right) But for too long, the hairless apes of these fora and beyond have refused to show that most majestic of unicorns - the *prince*,no less - the respect he is rightly due. True, the return of a dark and brooding second great-aunt he never knew he had has slightly bumped him down in the succession, but let's not forget who was receiving an expert education in diplomacy while Her Royal Highness was off in time out, hmm? And that, again, shows their lack of taste; For while in Equestria, the populace loves dear Aunt Celestia to the point of making Miss Grumpyhooves jealous, *these* types somehow like her irresponsible gothiness and spread the most shocking rumors about her elder sister! But I digress. This is about Blueblood. After a regrettable misunderstanding with a certain filly from the country - What was her name again? -, some of her "admirers" (so indecent, their cross-species amorousness) have seen fit to drag His Royal Highness's name through the mud, making even greater aspersions regarding his character than they do towards his dear aunt! Really, you might at least get to know a fellow before making such nasty accusations; Fortunately for you, Prince Blueblood is magnanimous and just, and forgives you your obviously misguided remarks. And he did patch things up with the filly - Rarity, that was it - during her recent trip to Canterlot, you know. Well, fortunately, not everyone has such poor taste; Following the efforts of a certain Mr. Jeremy Whitley to chronicle Blueblood's recent diplomatic mission to Yakyakistan with his new cousin-in-law - Shining Armor, fine stallion, really - Former Captain of the Royal Guard, and the royal family never felt safer! ...Ahem, following this chronicle, it has in fact been brought to light that perhaps some of you were mistaken about the prince. I think Mr. Whitley may be due for a knighthood shortly; But of course arrangements will have to be made with Aunt Celestia. Ah, forgive me. I'm so *rambly* at the moment. But yes, I do recommend you all take a look at the issue in question. You might just come out of it with the proper respect for your social betters. And for those of you who already did show the appropriate deference to royalty of the most ancient bloodline in all the land - Welcome aboard. I'm sure we have quite a bit to discuss, over a fine glass of carrot juice or two. The hay here is really quite good.
  3. Hey guys, there are interesting news regarding to the pony comics next year, and it's a new series called Deviations. What are those, just a series of What ifs, like Blue Blood being Celly's pupil instead of Twi
  4. Tools of Trade & Tips Paint Tool Sai - Art Program Photoshop CS6 - Small effects some times Wacom Intuos 3 Tablet - Used forever Wrist guard - Good for those who have carpole tunnel like me or those who roll/easily feel pain with their hand. Tip #1 Waterbottle - Trust me using water while staying occupied for hours at a time working on art its good to keep something with less sugar. Plus you can buy flavor water packets if you really desire something with flavor. Tip #2 Do not sit for periods of time that last longer than 5 hours. You must get around and walk, bad things can happen to muscles and veins if you leave them in one position or not move them for longer than this. Sometimes it can even be life threatening! Take your time on art and be sure to go out and walk even if you desire to stay and draw. Tip #3 If you're like me and stay up late at night drawing you learn pretty fast its bad for your stomach and also health to snack out on things during all hours. I recommend eating light fruits or maybe even nuts if you aren't allergic. Eating junk food or full blown meals can end up making you nauseated and possibly harder to find sleep quicker. Tip #4 DO NOT force your self to stay awake. Work on art at your own pace and do not think you have to rush to get things done and plus disrupting your own sleep patterns can be harmful in it self. Tip #5 MOST IMPORTANTLY... Save your work continuously cause for the love of Celestia I have lost so much work by not saving regularly. This out of the way... *cracks knuckles* Lets get to business.. I guess I'll start from oldest to newest of my recent works. Kayy so this first one is a bit of fan art based from the IDW comics so if you plan to read or haven't read to the 'Reflections arc' then I do not really recommend looking. If you do not care then be my guest! These next three are fan art from Equestria Girls: Friendship Games so again if you do not want potential spoilers.. Then do not hesitate skipping this spoiler section all together. If you notice I relatively screwed up her outfit on most of the images then you'd be correct. It was frustrating for me to even figure those out. Everything else? Piece of cake mostly.. But the clothing just.. WHY This is fan art of Sunset Shimmer, mostly was a practice run really. My theory is her being the Princess of Guidance with element being possibly "empathy" or "forgiveness" Because she was two sides of a coin and knows both walks of life. Plus the fact who knows what hardships she had to overcome offscreen. These two are together because they are kinda a 'mini story' in my mind I could never actually form into words into a fanfiction. Majorly what happens is Discord gets corrupted by his own dark magic arts and begins tormenting Fluttershy with nightmares that are endless. Resulting in eventually her breaking fully and him able to use his power to turn Fluttershy into a sort of Nightmare Moon sort of thing. Unnamed Pony though I have been tempted to just name her Silver Music.. Well anyway ear is awkwardly placed and so is the horn. But hey practice makes perfect! This was my first shot of drawing tirek! Inspired by a animatic by Ink Potts! Just search up "You're only second rate animatic" by Ink Potts ;v; This final image was inspired by a fan fiction. If you wish to know which one I'll gladly share via PM! I am trying to evade directly sharing things publicly without permission to do so out of respect for the authors/Artists. PS. Sketches and other unfinished art will probably be posted via blogging once I have ability to make blogging posts. :>
  5. I had a feeling last season, and I'm feeling it more this one so far. - doing more with lesser characters, including spontaneous cameos or small-but-interesting roles, and even giving them some more depth - Pop culture/historical references with an equine twist - Lots of references to the past (though that was fairly inevitable) - A tad more mature (and maybe a little mundane) than it used to be - Mixing and matching characters one didn't think about crossing paths Now I know there are other factors, but surely I'm not the only one who's noticed or is curious.
  6. Got a preview of issue #24!
  7. Which My Little Pony character did we not know was born to be a star? Big Mac. No, I'm serious. To subscribe:
  8. With the arrival of Nightmare Rarity herself, the entire My Little Pony cast joining the battle, and another 50+ subscribers, this special just got a whole lot bigger. To subscribe:
  9. Recently, a lot of comic fans haven't been happy with the quality of the main series entries. The Reflections arc proved to be highly devisive amongst the comic's fanbase, and a lot of people would argue that it hasn't found it's step yet, with the two mini-arcs written by the once favored Cook-Price duo also being highly panned by fans. I haven't seen much praise for the other releases up until now, but in my opinion the only good one was #24. So, what would it take for the main series to get back on top? Should it continue to focus on smaller, slice of life stories for a while longer in hopes that the quality goes back up? Or would another four part adventure arc kick it back into gear? Will the short break IDW's taking to publish Fiendship is Magic bring the writers and artists back with a fresher perspective? Or do we need some fresh blood working on the main series?
  10. For better or for worse, if there has been one common complaint in regards to the IDW series of comics based on the "Friendship is Magic" franchise it has been the writing of comic author Katie Cook. Is this justified? Well, at first it would've been hard for me to say. For me personally, her best work was the "Reflections" arc which I do recognize is a bit divisive between those who have read it. At the same time I share in the belief that while "The Good, The Bad, and The Ponies" had some good elements here and there the overall package was lacking somewhat when compared to some of Cook's other works; or even "Manehatten Mysteries," which was written by a different author. With the release of the "Revenge of Everfree" arc I had been considering the question of Katie Cook's recent efforts. Personally, I have been fond of the vast majority of her work; Reflections, Chrysalis, the Big Mac & Shining Armor/Cadence arcs, and even the Micro & Friends Forever issues she contributed to. However, "The Good, The Bad, and The Ponies" arc had plenty of issues and while the Everfree arc is improved from the previous one; some have noted various issues with it. I was giving some thought to all of this when I came upon this video from one of my favorites in the MLP analyst community. Admittedly I still need to give some of the earlier arcs a second or third read because as much as I did love the "Revenge of Queen Chrysalis" arc, he points out a few issues here and there. For me, it will be worth to put it through a second reading as a refreshed perspective can be quite eye-opening. He points out that in his own view Cook's strengths lie in the issues that feature a more SoL angle; as opposed to the larger adventure-style stories. He may have a point there, and it was one that I never considered. So, what do you think? Has the writing of Katie Cook suffered as of late? Has it improved? Or has there really been no change, and her strengths just aren't in the 'antagonist-centered' arcs that we have had as of late?
  11. Comic coming out this Wednesday.
  12. The comic book review continues with issue #2, a chapter about the gang trekking through a mountain. They enocunter giant spiders, more evil duplicates, and a troll that loves ponies. Will it be the improvement that fans promised?
  13. Now I'm not saying they should adapt storylines from the IDW comic. Heck, I feel quite the opposite. Though I would like to see some elements thrown in somehow. For example-- Troll Jim For starters, the idea of trolls in Equestria sounds almost logical. And it would be pretty funny to see him play with one of our heroines like how people do with pony dolls IRL and the rest be all "WTF?! :o" Chubacabra and/or Jackalopes I mean, why not? Even without that classic bit with Fluttershy (though that would be a hoot! ) it's always neat when a mythical monster shows up (some of the show's best moments, after all) Stuff from the "Micro-series" Heck, a lot of those feel like stuff that could happen on the show anyway! Supporting Characters to the rescue! Remember how Issue 8 had supporting characters & backgrounders battling the Nightmare Forces? How cool would it be if something similar actually happened on the show? Celestia knows it would be nice to see the lesser characters pitch in during a crisis for once... Spike sending a letter only to belch out a form letter A Big Macintosh episode with elements from the "Zen and the Art of Gazebo Repair" story, if just to see him get the spotlight (they'll likely do that someday...) How about you guys? What events or characters--or something similar--would you like to see without the shackles their comic storylines?
  14. My fellow Bronies and My Little Pony Fans, this morning I just got word of the behavior of one of the writers of the My Little Pony Comics, Ted Anderson, and how he is enabling anti-fan and discriminatory behavior. Today I will be organizing an open letter campaign to IDW and will stop purchasing any comics under their brand. I encourage everyone who reads this thread to do the same. The choice is yours. To Bobby Curnow, For quite a while I've bought, read and enjoyed the comics under the IDW brand. I am writing this letter to address the behavior of one the writers of the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Comics Ted Anderson. On the morning of September 26th I had received word that in the background of the My Little Pony 2014 Annual he had inserted two fan made characters made by bloggers David McGuire and Cutosphere. The issue with this is what these two characters represent. David McGuire has been known make anti-fan artwork and Cutosphere has not only done the same but has openly called for discrimination and violence against men. By inserting characters made by these two people he is promoting and supporting their behavior and fans who are buying this comic with two anti-fan characters in it have every right to be upset by this. I was wondering whether to keep buying the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Comics or not after this debacle but when you said you were going to handle it and when Anderson just wrote the blog off as satirical, which there is no evidence of by the way, I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and keep buying. Then I saw a post made by Ted Anderson today that was rather disturbing. Today, he made a post that flat out said that there can be no such thing as sexism against the male gender nor is there such thing as racism against people who are Caucasian. He didn't just stop at that he went on to say that any action against people who are Caucasion Males is justified as an act of revolution. So what your employee is essentially saying is that it's okay to act aggressively towards people as long they are male and white because they didn't have it as bad as everyone else in history. What he's saying is that it's okay to turn the tables on these groups instead of aiming for equality. That it's okay to punish people based on the actions for their ancestors, something the people of today couldn't even help if they wanted to. He's saying is that these two groups should have LESS rights than all other groups to even things out. It's not reverse discrimination it's "revolutionary". Is it really? Mr. Anderson can dress this up anyway he likes but bigotry is bigotry no matter what way he tries to justify it. To say I'm disgusted, is an understatement. Do keep in mind that as an employee of IDW he is representing the entire company and by letting him say these things publicly without any repercussions, he is making it look like the entire company is okay with this behavior. So until the appropriate action is taken I have decided not to buy not only the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic comics but anything under the IDW brand. Transformers, Doctor Who, Star Trek, The Crow, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, anything with your band on it, I will stop purchasing and I will encourage others to do the same. So I ask you, Mr Curnow, is it worth losing many customers over the actions of one employee? Think about it. -The Coffee Man
  15. Didn't see this one coming did you? Alright so I think plenty of people who know me by now, know how I feel about Equestria Girls. To those who don't, I love both movies! I know there are plenty of people who dislike them, especially the first one and can probably come up with a laundry list of reasons as to why they think it's bad and why it shouldn't exist but to hell with that I thought they were quite a bit of fun and I'm sticking to that opinion! I'm not going to change my thoughts to conform to someone else's view of the movies. Now that you know about my views about that you're probably wondering what my views towards the Equestria Girls Holiday Special are. It's absolute crap! And before anyone asks, no, this is not because it was written by Mr. "Oh Cyberbullying is terrible (which I agree with) now excuse me while I support someone who advocates hatred and violence towards men and bronies". I'm judging this comic based on it's own merits. Keep in mind, I'm one of the most laid back people in this fandom, I can enjoy most of the episodes this fandom hates with the exception of four. 1. Mysterious Mare Do Well 2. A Friend in Deed 3. Spike at your Service 4. Daring Don't So for me to dislike an MLP story you have to have screwed up pretty bad and I'll go into great detail about that. Alight so our story begins with Applejack and Sunset talking about the Holidays and how Sunset doesn't have anyone to celebrate with because, you know, she's basically an alien on this world. Applejack hoping to remedy this has a secret meeting with the rest of humane 6 (hurr hurr, bad pun) and hopes to remedy Sunset's loneliness with a series of slumber parties and so they start this off at Pinkie's house. Where we learn that Rainbow Dash is a gamer (why does this make absolute perfect sense?) and that Fluttershy has wonton gamer rage issues (okay, that's a surprise) and they have 16 Pizzas. A bit excessive for 6 people don't you think Pinkie?! Are you expecting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to pop by! (Note: I would totally go and see an MLP/TMNT crossover! IDW has the licenses for both franchises! MAKE IT!!) After that they have this moment where they tell us about how great it is to have friends. Aww, it's so sweet I'm getting diabetes reading it. You know, Writer, the series is called "Friendship is Magic", yeah usually it's following a different version of these characters and Twilight but we really do not need to be told about how great it is to have friends, we can already see why by watching the show and reading the other comics. A phone call from Applebloom then interrupts their little moment and tells Applejack that Granny Smith wanted to know if she's okay, Applejack tells her that of course she's fine and Applebloom hangs up calling her "Piggly Wiggly", prompting Sunset to ask about it. So Applejack then proceeds to tell everyone that she got that nickname when she was little because she once jumped in the pigpen and played with the pigs on their farm and that Applebloom likes to use that nickname to tease her when she thinks AJ's getting too big for her britches. However this must have been one of those days where Applebloom just felt like being a jackass because she really didn't have any reason to use that nickname. When everyone's all good and asleep Sunset takes out that magic book from Rainbow Rocks and sends Twilight a friendship report. The next day Applejack is greeted to a bunch of other students calling her by her nickname. Applebloom then proceeds to tell Applejack that her someone called "Anon-A-Miss" (Oh how clever ) has been spreading her nickname and the story behind it on MyStable and when Applejack starts wondering who could have done such a thing Applebloom immediately tries to pin it on Sunset because Anon-A-Miss uses the same color-scheme and Sunset just heard the story yesterday. Way to give yourself away there Applebloom. How did you even know that AJ gave Sunset an explanation about that nickname? The rest of AJ's friends find out and Sunset tells her that if there's anything they can do, she always has someone to talk to. Then it's on to slumber party #2, hosted by Rarity where we see Sweetie Belle telling Rarity and Fluttershy about what she's been up to. As soon as everyone arrives Rarity kicks Sweetie Belle out, much to Sweetie's dismay and the party begins. Pinkie Pie after some Karaoke breaks Rarity's closet, something she's done several times before apparently, and they find all the clothes that Rarity either bought or made that turned out horrible. So everyone decides to try them all on and Sunset takes pictures. So same night as before, Sunset writes a Friendship report and goes to sleep. When she wakes up the next day, things go to hell in a hand-basket when she gets met with hostility from her friends. As it turns out Anon-A-Miss put photos of them wearing the awful clothes on MyStable, the exact picture's that were taken by Sunset. So they see her as guilty, don't hear her out, reduce Sunset to tears, declare that she's not their friend and leave her for the wolves. You know, girls, I know this evidence is convincing and all but one problem with this. When you look at Anon's page you'll see that there are photo's of Sunset on there as well which would also make Sunset a prime target for teasing. Plus, this is also the same Sunset that helped save everyone from a bunch of evil Sirens! You have the right to be suspicious but for now I'd say that it's a little to soon to be throwing accusations. I really feel bad for Sunset, here. I can't exactly find an image for it but to sum it up, to see Sunset cry is like looking at a kicked puppy, it's a very sad sight. As the days go by things are getting worse for everybody. Anon-A-Miss has decided to spill everybody's secrets in the school ruining friendships and relationships, everybody in the school's arguing with each other, the teasing is getting is getting worse for the Humane 5 (god I hate using that term) and Sunset is really lonely and people are taking their wrath out on her as they see her as Anon-A-Miss. Sunset is reduced to tears again and tries to find out who's behind this, accusing Trixie who says she's not Anon-A-Miss but admires her and would like to congratulate her for what she's doing. ...and Trixie has a huge following, why? Anyway Sunset goes home, has a talk with Twilight and they call the humans worse than Windigos. (Why doesn't Sunset go home then?) The next day Sunset goes to Sugarcube Corner to meet her friends who still treat her with hostility and she shows them the magic book to help try and convince them that she's not Anon-A-Miss and that she's worked out who she is. Then the Cutie Mark Crusaders enter and confess that they did it. And now we come to the part that convinced me that this comic needed to face my wrath! After they are confronted as to why they humiliate them, they proceed to go and blame Sunset for their actions! They did it because they were so jealous that the humane 5 were spending so much time with Sunset that they decided to humiliate them online. Applebloom made the page and put up the Piggly Wiggly story, Sweetie Belle stole Sunset's phone and Scootaloo went along with everything because reasons, she didn't even get a speaking role in this comic so we don't really get a reason why she went a long with everything! We don't even get a reason why they decided to humiliate everyone else in the school! What did they do to piss them off? It's like the writer decided to take Ponyville Confidential and make a crappy spin on it. At least in Ponyville Confidential the crusaders had a reason, they were getting blackmailed so they had to go along with it. In this story they are just doing this out of petty spite. So, what happens after all this? They're instantly forgiven. They apologize to everyone and get six months detention and everything's all well good. Despite what they've done, the Humane 6 let the Crusaders hang out with them and it's a happy ending. ...I'm sorry, NO! Just no! I can't get behind this ending. It's not that easy to just forgive someone for public humiliation and then accept them into your circle of friends! I'm honestly shocked that they did that. So let me get this straight, so the human mane 6 will reduce declare Sunset guilty let the Crusaders off scott-free! No, I really don't think the crusaders should have been let off as easy as they did. That's a trust-breaker. Sure they should be forgiven eventually but that takes time and they need to earn that trust back. And I really don't like how the crusaders decided to shift the blame on Sunset! What message are they trying to give out here? If someone's not giving you enough attention, bully and guilt-trip them into doing so? That's a terrible message to hand out! So congrats, Writer-That-I-Shall-Not-Name, you actually managed to make something related to Equestria Girls that I dislike besides that creepy promotional art. Terrifying! At least the art this comic was nice! Grade: D-
  16. What are you guys most truly unloved creatures in all of the MLP comics?
  17. Preview for Friends Forever #10.
  18. Okay, since the Luna micro was released recently, and it's the last book in the micro series, why don't we share our final rankings? 1. Luna. Every page had me cracking up. This is my new favorite out of all of the comics. 2. Rarity. The hippies were great new characters, and Rarity's reactions to their "spa" was fantastic. 3. Pinkie. This one has the best moral, and they were able to make Pinkie seem cute instead of obnoxious to me. I wish she were portrayed more like this more often. 4. CMC. This one was absolutely adorable, and Imp was a great new creature. This one also has my favorite art style of the comics. It's beautiful. 5. Spike. Another cute one with a nice, simple story. 6. Celestia. Another one with a good moral, and the few references that were put in were really well done. 7. Twilight. The story was good, and I loved Jade Singer, but the art was pretty terrible. 8. Applejack. The art was good here, but the story was boring. Like the show staff, they wasted an opportunity to give Applejack something to make her interesting. 9. Fluttershy. I liked the story concept, but the execution was poor. I also don't like how the rest of the mane six suddenly showed up at the end despite the fact that pretty much none of them would be interested in going to an art exhibit except Twilight. 10. Rainbow Dash. Sadly, this one was just flat out terrible with no redeeming qualities. The dialogue was painfully forced, the references tried to hard, and Rainbow's characterization was too much like MMDW. There was no point that I actually cared about the plot.
  19. With IDW already having done a whole story focusing on a background pony, namely Big Mac, do you have any hopes that they might do something similar for another background character? If so, which would be your three favorite picks? I include my own: Zecora: She really deserves to step out of her plot device status and have a real conflict of her own for the story to focus on. Derpy Hooves: The comics have shown that they embrace fan headcanons moreso than the series itself ever could, so it'd be interesting to see what sort of story they might do with her. Doctor Stable: I've already mentioned at every opportunity that I feel he's the best background pony in the show, being smarmy and cynical while being kind as well, and he has so many cool side characters to work with, like Nursery Rhyme and Screw Loose.
  20. Now that the micro series is over, I'd really like to make a thread ranking them, with a poll for the favorites and least favorites of the members. But since I wasn't sure whether I could make that an individual thread, I posted in the stickied one, but since then I've seen a couple of different comic threads that are active and the mods seem fine with them. So I have a couple of questions: 1. What kind of discussion can have its own thread outside of the sticky? 2. Could I make the thread I wanted to? Thanks.
  21. Author's Note: This is in response to IDW Comics confirming to have the Twilicorn, starting with the pirate comic arc. ——— Conceptually, I was fine with Twilight being an alicorn if given more than enough time for her to develop into one. However, her becoming an alicorn in season three was and will always be a factually bad idea for the reasons I outlined a while back here. In order for the Twilicorn to genuinely work, Magical Mystery Cure had to be written very well enough at the least and fantastically at its best: While it "made sense" from Hasbro's perspective, it didn't make sense from a timing perspective. And what did Magical Mystery Cure do? While I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, it doesn't change how it's a bad episode, although nowhere close to being the worst that season. (Just for Sidekicks, Spike at Your Service, and Games Ponies Play are all easily worse.) Still, with the other bad episodes, since they were self-contained, you can always skip them over. The Twilicorn is the exception, because whatever happened in that episode will follow over to season four, meaning Magical Mystery Cure had to be written RIGHT. It wasn't. MMC was rushed and sloppy; the Twilicorn appeared tacked on. From an objective quality perspective, Twilight's transformation wasn't handled well; five minutes is MORE than enough time to deliver a solid first impression to your audience. If MMC and the Twilicorn's first impression were genuinely handled as well as it should've, then we wouldn't still discuss and debate over the Twilicorn long after its airing. With the Twilicorn following into the comics, despite my vocal criticisms (especially in the Twilicorn section in the MLP Forums, where I debated there quite a bit for a three- to four-month stretch), I'm still as indifferent about her being an alicorn now as I was back then. If she's written well, I'll support it. If it's not, I won't. It doesn't matter if the medium is in the show (where the writers have much more restrictions than the fans themselves, not just because they're working under a first party's demands, but also due to content guidelines in Canada, U.S., and throughout the West) or the IDW comics. If they show me that the writers can write the Twilicorn well, follow through, and actually develop her to the point where her being an alicorn princess is worth it, I welcome it with open arms. That said, Twilicorn can't be the mere "adorkable Twilight" we're normally accustomed to. In FIM, an alicorn princess means more than just a title. It indicates a sense of responsibilities and management in not just what they say, but do, too. Cadance, Celestia, and Luna are all heralded in current Equestrian society, and Twilight will be, too. Her being the same character "with merely wings" devolves her character and all her growth from the pilot to MMC, and I hope the comics, like the show, don't toss that aside. I'm also glad the comic writers and season four are there to hopefully experiment it. MMC gave the Twilicorn a horrendous first impression. If the series was over after MMC, then Twilight's reputation is soiled. IDW and season four give the Twilicorn a chance to work, and I hope their efforts pays off. P.S.: Despite being a vocal critic, I DON'T want her reverted back to a unicorn. It's a big mea culpa and tells me as a brony that the team doesn't wish to make it work, and that's insulting to the entire franchise.
  22. So here are some sketches I do when I'm in class, wow...kinda lame I guess? I try though Now, if you haven't read the comics you might not get pinkie and flutters picture. Basically in issue 3, pinkie makes a costume of herself and rainbow so she can tell who is who from the changelings, so i gave one to flutters as wel. Hope y'all like!
