  1. I'm creating this topic to post some of my recent landscape photography work. To see more of my work, visit (Site in-dev.) To join a community of brony hikers, visit Everfree Hikers. Over the last few years, I've gone on over a hundred hikes. My highest mileage in a single year was 123 miles (cumulative). My eventual, longterm goal will be to hike from Mexico to Canada via the Pacific Crest Trail. During my many adventures, I got into doing landscape photography. Painted Cove John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, Oregon. Changing Light Sunset on Mount Jefferson from the Pacific Crest Trail, Oregon. Ancient Lakes Sunset on the Ancient Lakes in eastern Washington. For Ponies Around the World (2017 Submission) Crystal Lake in the Mt. Adams Wilderness; will be submitted to EQD's annual PATW event in July. Home for the Night Sunset from Adams Glacier Meadow in the Mount Adams Wilderness, Washington. I'll add more photos to this post as time goes on.
  2. I saw earlier today the "Tanks for the memories" episode, and BOY the liquid pride was real. It has become one of my favourite episodes of the series, and my favourite Rainbow Dash episode overall. It's not one of my favourite ponys, but this episode changes everything I thought about her. You have all my love and appreciation, RD. I know how it feels thinking you'll lose your best friend, and even losing it. The hibernation thing is a beautiful and clever metaphor of death. I like a lot when kids cartoons take these morals and portrait them on an understandable and touching story. Alongside, the real strength of the series is actually this; taking cute characters and then giving us all, kids and adults, a good moral that can be applied in real life. Tanks to the memories and Flutter Brutter are two of my favourites just because that. I surely hope that the incoming season 7 will be at least close to be memorable as these two episodes. 3. Hi everyone! Here's the latest track I've made! As for every of my songs, there's a tiny little story coming with it. Here it is : "Sometimes Twilight Sparkle likes to have a rest enjoying a beautiful landscape from Equestria. But be careful not to overthink Princess!" As this is my first post in Fan Music, just a few words about Mane In Green : I've started making MLP fan music in early november. There are remixes of official songs and instrumental tracks inspired by artworks from the fandom. PS : my favorite color is red, even if I'm green, and I don't like green, but I fully assume this name's choice. :awuh: Voilà! I hope some of you will enjoy, and every feedback is welcome!
  4. Hi everyone! As some of you might know, I love disney movies, and especially beauty and the beast. Therefor, I made a beauty and the beast painting at school, it's from my favorite scene and I'm really proud of it And I also may or may not have made is especially for my friend Dreambiscuit. I know the picture is a bit blurry but I'll take better photo's after the weekend
  5. "Another day, another dungeon!" –Daring Do. I have had a lifetime passion for the outdoors, hiking, and the mountains. That led me to create the "Pony Northwest: Ponies Around the World" video (a.k.a. 'Massive 2-year Pony Hiking Project,' as called by EQD). Later on, I organized the online brony hikers community, Everfree Hikers. Combining my love for My Little Pony and hiking can be tricky (being seemingly unrelated subjects), but I found that bringing and taking photos of the ponies along on my hikes helps to connect them together nicely. Map of all my hikes in my lifetime. 2015: Purple 2014: Green 2013: Gold 2012: Red 2011: Blue Pre-2011: Pink Here are just a couple of the photos I've taken on my hikes and travels. I have hiked in Washington, Oregon, British Columbia, Alberta, California, and, (soon to be this summer), Idaho. I can't wait to get back from college to go hiking! The Painted Hills; John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, Oregon. Dry Creek Road; Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington. Between the summers of 2014 and mid-July of 2015, I created a little video featuring nearly all of the places I've brought the ponies along. This summer I hope to film a timelapse video featuring the ponies in beautiful landscapes for EQD's annual Ponies Around the World event. I love sharing these adventures with people, especially helping others find new and exciting adventures. I love helping by providing recommendations for good hikes–especially those around Mount Adams, the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and the greater Washington state area. 6. Hi! I got some more artwork for you guys! Now this one is a very special one for me, as I'm a fan of sunset and sunrise pictures I tried very hard on getting the sunset to look "just right", because If I could feel inspiration from just staring at it, I'm very sure you all would feel the same as well! If I were you, I would highly recommend listening to this song "Elegy" by Tycho. Every time I listen to this song, I couldn't help but imagine a beautiful sunset over the mountains. It's amazing what music can do to our imagination. Enjoy! Tools used: Adobe Photoshop CC Source Filmmaker Imagination Song! (Elegy - Tycho)
  7. Going on improving my skills. This time artwork, inspired by great game "Knock-knock". UPD: DeviantArt
  8. Here is my second OC drawing of Double star
  9. i tried to experiment with a lot of different things here, mainly more layers to the environment and pretty strong lighting for a landscape. i hope you like it ^^ constructive criticism is always welcome
  10. Just thought this would be an interesting topic/poll, so what type of landscape/ geographical feature speaks to you? And if possible why? Mine would be a mountain, especially one with a lot of greenery (like one might see in forested area). As to why, I guess what "Speaks" to me most is their silent, majestic, enduring, power. They don't "show off" in sense, like the ocean might in a storm or a mighty river. A mountain is simply there and endures in a silence that itself speaks louder than a thunderstorm. Also, they might appeal to me because there is something uniquely "Divine" about them; how many times have Myths (using in academic sense, not saying true or untrue) about a Holy Man of some kind hearing from Heaven on a mountaintop. Got a bit almost poetic or metaphysical there.... So how about everypony else . Sorry I left out lakes, hope I didn't forget something else.
  11. This is the painting I did this evening, and I wanted to share it with you. (I don't know how to resize pictures on here so I'm posting a link) And my question: I've been asked about selling my paintings. Personally, I don't think they're good enough to sell in the first place, and the cost would be incredible just for me to break even, never mind make a small profit. Any thoughts?
  12. I decided to tackle a landscape tonight! Here we have Applejack taking a break beneath an apple tree overlooking some hills and mountains. This piece allowed me to practice some new (to me) drawing techniques and some brushes - smudge and synthetic fan - that I had never used before. This was an absolute blast to draw! I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did while working on it!
  13. Well then, I thought I should share my art with you all. I hope you will like it I will add more drawings in the future. The Grim Reaper with a shopping bag. A tree
