  1. I am glad that all 7 seasons of My Little Pony are back on Netflix, but… My Little Pony: The Movie has never been on Netflix. I wish it would be on Netflix…
  2. Apparently, FIM is going to be removed from Netflix August 16. I discovered while watching it on Netflix.

FIM to be removed from Netflix August 16

well, guys, guess it's time to see what one it will be: season eight for mlp coming to Netflix, or it being taken down from Netflix like other Discovery Family and Hasbro shows. It's 50/50, like a catch in football (american football), either the receiver catches it, (it staying) or he drops it (it being taken down). So if it does get removed from Netflix, I will have to buy all the seasons on disk, watch it on cable (I don't have it on cable yet), or steam it illegally (not really, I wouldn't go THAT far). So, I hope it stays so then I can watch it easily and without waiting...and waiting...and waiting for it on cable, or have to put in a disk into my Xbox One or PC. Signing off from here. The reason why I use Netflix is because then I can watch what episodes I want easier than it being on disk
  4. [MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD] I don't know how many people remember the old Reboot cartoon where people known as sprites lived in a computer system known as Mainframe, but as far as I'm concerned it was one of the most well written animated shows of all time (and one of the earliest CGI shows). The other day I had this horrible dream that they brought back Reboot as a live action series that was basically a ripoff to Power Rangers and had almost nothing to do with the original series. And the worst part of the dream is that they waited until the finale to bring back the original characters and the fans of the original show were portrayed as basement-dwelling neckbeards. Good thing that was just a dream. Oh wait....

    Movies/TV BoJack Horseman

There wasn't a dedicated thread for this show... Really surprising. I've been watching it since last wednesday or thursday night and I'm already on S3E4. This show is impressive and weird and depressing and clever animal use and furries. Please mark season 3 spoilers in spoiler tags... which I would demonstrate, but I don't know how to use spoiler tags. I've been on this forum for 32 months. Pretty embarrasing. **TOPIC STARTER ATTEMPT** Fav. Episode: Escape from LA Least Fav. Episode: Chicken Fav. Main Character: Princess Carolyn Least Fav. Main Character: Todd (the least amazing, still amazing.) Fav. Supporting Character: Herb Kazazz, Secretariat, Kelsey Jannings (lesbian) Fav. Super-minor-role Character: Wallace Shawn? I like his voice. I need to watch the princess bride tonight Most depressing episode/moment: Escape from L.A. ending, and bojack's mom EDIT: The music in Fish out of Water is amazing.
  10. I have a little theory going on why they have yet to truly announce Season 7 of My Little Pony: They might be moving to Netflix. This would leave Discovery Family without its flagship show. Even more so, this comes hot off of Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree debuting on Netflix first here in America. Before Season 5 of My Little Pony aired, Discovery Family and Hasbro confirmed Season 6 of My Little Pony. But right now, other than some words from the Cast and Crew, there has been no official announcement of Season 7 of My Little Pony, especially from Discovery Family. Do you believe that My Little Pony is moving from Discovery Family to Netflix exclusively, and if so, how would you react?
  11. You know, it's getting more and more apparent to me. I haven't been a regular TV Watcher for a few years now, besides the occasional must watch stuff and it seems like as the years go by, more and more people are doing the same thing, especially the younger generation of us. It makes absolutely no more sense for me, to actually watch TV anymore, considering the Internet is providing me with more entertainment, then i can actually handle. People don't want their programs to be decided anymore. They can do their own program, with streaming services like Netflix and Hulu and if Movie and TV Producers are smart, they should jump ship as soon as possible. There isn't much to get anymore on TV. What is your take on this? Still watching TV? Are you not? Do you care?

    Stranger Things Review: Episode 1

I wasn't planning on making a review for anything ever, but Stranger Things is too good to not talk about. Anyway, as I'm going to be talking about the first episode, there's obviously going to be spoilers. Also, it's been a bit since I watched the first episode, so I'm probably going to forget a few things. Starting off, we watch a man who we assume is some sort of scientist run through a few corridors against flickering lights, obviously frightened by something. Then, as he is attempting to flee via elevator, he is attacked by some creature. They did very well here by not revealing anything about the creature; we don;t know if it's alien, supernatural, man-made, or anything of the sort. Next, we get on with the introduction of the kids, and then the disappearance of Will. They did good here by not revealing anything else about the situation. We assume the creature is the same as in the beginning, but we still don't know anything about it, other than that it is humanoid. Will disappears, presumably taken by the creature. We also get the introduction of the mysterious girl named Eleven, who sneaks into a diner and steals some food. We also learn here that she has some sort of power when she turned off the fan. Then, people show up at the diner pretending to be social services. They kill the diner owner and attempt to take Eleven, but she escapes into the woods. Late at night, when Will's friends are looking for him, they come across Eleven, and the episode ends there. I feel like everything was done excellently, and they introduced a large amount of strange and different elements without feeling rushed or forced or anything. All in all, it was great. I'm going to do episode two in a little bit, and episode three once I finish it (the stupid tornado interrupted it last night).
  13. Wasn't sure if i should put it in the Media section, of if it's good enough for a general discussion, so here it goes. I just recently thought of my childhood and the things that i had back then. Back then, for example, i waited for a whole week, to watch my favorite TV Shows and when it came to Video Games, i just had a limited collection of Video Games at my disposal. These days, when i want to watch a certain programm or movie, i just go on my Netflix Account and pick out of 1000 Shows and movies and i also have over 100 video game titles on Steam at my disposal. While i also have other things to entertainment myself. I look at all that and i ask myself "Boy, that's so much." Sometimes, i just don't know what to do, because i am getting buried by all this stuff. Like, do we really need that much? I kinda feel like Back to the future 2 became real, because these days, i feel like watching 6 channels at the same time, just to keep up with everything. Do you sometimes get overwhelmed by that? Would you like it a bit more simple? (If this is the wrong section, please move it)

Should FIM be moved to Netflix?

Title says it all, really. Since Cable television is dying out, should Friendship is Magic be moved to Netflix, or any other similar sites?
  15. I've been wondering this for a very long time. When it comes to watching My Little Pony, do you fellow Bronies and Pegasisters watch episodes of the cartoon for free over the internet (Youtube, Netflix (not technically free) and other sources) or do you actually buy the episodes in order to watch them (Itunes, Amazon, DVD)? Personally, I'd rather own them so I can watch them on the go but recently my purchases of the show from iTunes became corrupt so i need to repurchase them somewhere else. I'm considering just watching the show over Netflix from now on. So what about you all?
  16. Anyone know when we can be able to watch the friendship games one netflix? feels like it shouldve been out already after its priemere a month ago. Im aware that I can watch it online or purshase it but netflix has eq 1 and 2 so where's 3?

    Season 5 on Netflix!

(This may have already been created, but I couldn't find a topic on it. Shame on me if it was.) So as many know who have Netfix, MLP is on it, and has been on it for a while now. I just noticed browsing the other day that season 5 (or should I say season 5.0) is now available. Anypony notice some changes were made, like the fact that the first episode 2-parter has it's name changed from the "Cutie Map" to the "Cutie Markless". Any thoughts on the changes, or the fact that they uploaded the first half of the season, even though part 2 hasn't aired yet? I'm just glad I can watch officially now, to support the show.
  18. Marvel's Daredevil came out on Netflix on April 10th and I've watched episodes 1-9 out of 13. Anybody else watching? If so what are your thoughts?
  19. Works Cited: Great. Now I have something to worry about. NOW I HAVE SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT! NOW I HAVE.....GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Movies/TV Child friendly Game of Thrones?!

Hey guys you may or may not know that the peps up at netflix somehow got a "good" idea to make a Zelda tv series. I am a huge Zelda fan and would love to see a live action series of the game however we know from past mistakes that live action video game movies/tv shows don't go well (Cough Mario bros cough) So the problem I have is how they are going to make it work, like is it going to be CGI crappy Gorons and Zoras or costumes and makeup? will they make the story line? Will they use a games plot every season? For example Ocarina of time one season and Majora's mask another? What if they make a small mistake? Like a character seems different or they altered their personality? Who will hold back hordes of fanboys/girls going ape shit if they do? How will they make Link's voice sound? Link like chell and gordon freeman is a silent protagonist so how will they approach his voice? Will they give him a voice? Would they make Link a mute or something? I would just imagine what would happen if they fuck it up..... three words " Excuse me princess!" fuck that game to Oblivion....o.o Lastly is the way they described it. Netflix envisions the series as a child friendly Game of Thrones....... Wtf?! With out gore, sex and bad language?! That is what Game of Thrones is about! Look I am hopeful it will come out good. I am just sceptical....really sceptical
  21. I'm a little leery of the report, and I don't want to get my or anyone else's hopes up, but according to this article, Netflix is considering development of a live-action Legend of Zelda series. Thoughts?

Mlp FIM now off of Netflix as of today.

Well it's official. No more MLP FIM on Netflix. It will let me play some of the episodes, but most of them have disc icons indicating that I would need to get the DVD or bluray. Le sigh. I was hoping this wouldn't happen. Update! They just bumped it up to 3/19/15! Looks like they are in the board room negotiating hard! Phew! We have a few more days!
  23. A number of shows related to Cartoon Network and its companion site Adult Swim will be leaving Netflix at the end of this month. Shows include Adventure Time Regular Show Cow and Chicken Dexter's Laboratory Ed Edd N Eddy Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Johnny Bravo Codename: Kids Next Door Samurai Jack Mad Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated Aqua Teen Hunger Force Robot Chicken Metalocalypse Venture Bros Squidbillies Batman: The Brave and the Bold Batman Beyond Justice League Justice League Unlimited Young Justice Ben 10 Generator Rex Surprisingly, some shows like Powerpuff Girls, Total Drama Isle, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Chowder and even The Boondocks will remain on Netflix after March 30th. Note: Still no word if My Little Pony or any other Hasbro franchise will disappear as well next Monday.
  24. You heard me right, folks. On February 2nd, 2015, Netflix will be removing everyone's favorite cartoon ponies from their lineup to make room for new things. In what is sure to disappoint much of our fanbase, they've elected to remove it alongside several other Hasbro animated shows including Transformers and Pound Puppies. How sad does this make you? How will you continue watching ponies? Does this affect you at all? Source:
  25. Just found out that Netflix is dropping MLP. Sad day
