Based loosely on the inciting events of Five Score Divided By Four. Ever since Discord betrayed Celestia to her death, turning the tide of the onslaught in favor of the spawn of Tartarus, those who remained were constantly in hiding or on the run. If the spawn didn't tear you to bits, you had Discord's bands of loyal raiders to watch out for, and, if you were really unlucky, Discord himself snatching up creatures and sending them to Faust knows where. It's been a year since Canterlot fell, you and a few others have been lucky so far, dodging patrols and the roving herds of spawn while still finding enough food to stay alive. You've lost a few members of your group over time, and found new ones as well. A few have told of certain strongholds, "Bastions of Civilization" they called them, hidden away in the discordant wasteland that was once Equestria. Your group was headed in the vague direction of where one might be when your luck finally ran out. The forest you had been using as cover suddenly blew away like so much dandelion fluff, revealing your position to a nearby herd of spawn. And so you ran, trying with all your strength to outrun the spawn. But inwardly you knew you wouldn't be able to outrun them forever, or even outfly them as some took to the sky in pursuit. You knew that you, and everyone else in your group would soon be overtaken and killed. Until... *Whoosh Something small but heavy flew past your ear, not unlike a brick, then... *Boom A small explosion rocks the ground behind you, and from above a large shape appears, it's a crude vehicle, little more than a large metal box with a pair of wings and large propellers. The back is open with a ramp extending down. A mare stands in the opening with a large rifle, she motions for you to jump onto the ramp, "Get in!" They wait for as many of your group who survived to get on, helping in any who couldn't jump in on their own, and firing back at any of the spawn who got too close. Once they're all in the ramp closes behind them and the vehicle lifts higher into the sky. ----- That's the basic premise there, feel free to ask any questions about the specifics. The ship you get in will take you to the Æther, a cloud city serving as one of these Bastions of Civilization that the other survivors spoke of. All races, including some OC races within reason, are acceptable.

I am wanting to flesh out my oc Winter Mint out more, and what better way than to have a Roleplay! I am looking for a slice of life, possibly a romance RP with someone. The setting is that Winter comes to Canterlot for a Candy Convention.

Update: As of today, November 3'th 2020, this thread is still open for anypony. I'll try to edit in monthly about this, but my memory is bad, so just be assured that unless anything else is written, I'm never gonna bar or abandon this thread. For anypony looking: This thread is never getting closed for new joiners, veteran, regular or fresh faces alike. If you want in, there is room for your OC. There is also room for those wishing to play the cannon characters such as the mane six, the princesses and so forth. Claimed cannons are: Twilight Sparkle. Played by @EQ_Theta. Fluttershy. Played by @EQ_Theta. To gain exclusive control of a canon character, contact me about it, and we'll take it from there. Take notice: This isn't a thread focused around my pony, it's meant as a place where anypony can start off, or join in for some fun. Consider it a newcomers intro cauldron into roleplay, with added spice of whoever else wants to come around. With that being said, on to the writing. Further notice: Even if it seems like everypony here have their own and it's impossible to join anything, don't be discouraged to join. If you want to interact with the current groups going at their random thing, just write yourself in and we'll take it from there. If you want to start your own angle, begin something, and in case you haven't gotten a response in about 24 hours, I will then make an NPC or see if some of my OC's are free and make sure you're not alone. TImelines: In case you prefer an evening setting or want to write with somepony as in *The next day* It is allowed, though not further than a day ahead of everypony else. The timelines can fit easy into each other if it's in a span of 24 hours. Less easy when we talk weeks apart or something like that. The thread link: http://mlpforums.com/topic/110191-casual-stroll/ Hello everypony. Been about 4 days since I've joined the forums now and everything here have been good so far. Except that I can't find a good place to start some role play, as the existing ones seem to be focused on very out there ideas that I, as a new member, can't really just jump into since I haven't even gotten a feel for the roleplaying aspect of my character yet. It made me think though, with all the other new people I've seen join over the last few days, perhaps I'm not the only one who could use a place to quietly ease into this? As such, I present an idear here that I hope that somepony - newcomers or not - would also think could be a good thing to join in on. A simple, no-focused thread going on around/in Ponyville that can let everypony have their say in things. There will be no directions for this, just a begining, and then we'll see where the plot will takes us. If you would like to join this, and/or if you might have an idear added, then go ahead and post it. After a few days I'll see if there's enough here to start something, and then make an open thread in the actual roleplay section if there's enough interest. My character Blitz Boom is living in the Everfree Forest, but she makes trips to Ponyville once in awhile, so any place around the town is basically a good place to start. As for rules, I only have a few. No graphic murder/overly strong violence: A fight or something may be fine enough, and a death can be acceptable if done right, but there's no need to make a casual thread into Friday the 13'th. No rushing/godmodding: No-one finds it fun when somepony just takes off with things without their consent. Give people a bit of time to breathe in between posts, and don't have them be dragged off by force unless it's been cleared with the person here in there OOC section. If you stop in the thread, let us know here, and write your character out in the IC part: I can't imagine anypony else wanting to wait around for someone that just upped and left without a word, so be respectful of others if you leave, okay? I can write you out in a small section if you have trouble doing so yourself, but a self-addressed solution is preferred. That's pretty much it. The rest is covered by the roleplaying rules (such as no explicit things etc) and other than that, I'd like to think I can trust you all to make the right decisions. Alicorns etc. is allowed, and everypony can decide for themselves afterwards if they want to take some of this as canon, but in case of alicorn join ups, consider it non-canon in general. ^^ If there's any questions or anything, feel free to pop it into this thread. I'll be checking with regularity. ((If you need some info on Blitz Boom, there is a link to her bios in my signature))

RP: The Ponyville weather team is a group of pegasi in charge of managing the weather in Ponyville. Led by Rainbow Dash, the team has to manage the complicated demands of the town residents. (Such as that grump that's always complaining about the weather no matter what it is. ;P ) In addition, the nearby Everfree Forest is always brewing up some chaotic weather to throw towards Ponyville. Do you have what it takes to be on the Ponyville weather team? (I will be roleplaying as team captain, Rainbow Dash.)

We all know how Equestria was united. Hearthswarming brings with it a message of unity that the masses adore: The three tribes overcoming their suspicions of one another and defeating the wendigos together. Historians, as they often do, would inform us how much more complicated that fateful night was. Indeed, it was the very thing that helped form the tribes in the first place that made them tricky to unite: Religion. The three tribes held a variety of deities to worship yet, all too often, your tribe determined who you follow. Earth Ponies had near universal praise for the Black Goat: the god of fertility and family. Most had little time for any other gods. Unicorns were more varied with their artisan workforce having more time to devote, but tended to gravitate to Dionysus: The god of feasting and the arts. Pegasi, so eager to bolster their own glory, would have the most even spread of worship across the pantheon. Some even went so far as to worship the nature gods, whom you would know as wendigos. Even the pegasi had their favorites though. Many among them would call upon Shu Da Mel to bring death to their enemies and commemorate their fallen. It would all lead to a trying time reconciling these differences. The leaders historically were much more cynical toward the pantheon and their superstitious subjects, but even they would find themselves bickering over faith on the first Heathswarming. Although, we all know how that day ended. However, a nation does not change overnight, and it would be the proceeding era that would prove most critical for the growing superpower of Equestria: The Cataclysm. The gods are of little help. They have grown complacent with their near-guaranteed supply of followers and are not happy now that the old days, when they had to work hard to impress their mortal followers, seem to be coming back. This is where you come in. Chancellor pudding head has passed to join Shu Da Mel’s great mausoleum. All are invited to attend Shu Da Mel’s celebration to remember all the good she’d done in life and to wish her a peaceful rest. Your actions in the new era will shape the next, and historians may remember you for your critical roll in what is to come and the reconciliation of the inharmonious gods. All of this with the horrors of the wendigo invasion of frost and famine fresh in your mind. Welcome, one and all, to the aftermath of Hearthswarming. Welcome to The New Pantheon! ~***~ Wow, that was exciting, but what's with the 'Voiced' in the title?: This is a Role Play like any other, but instead of acting it out over text, we use a voice chat to portray our story. The RP has a dedicated Discord server where we meet every week for a session. Interesting... but why?: I believe there is a lot that can be lost over text, and voice chat can help convey the more subtle parts of English communication. Beyond that, there is a more important advantage: instant feedback. Let's say you tell a joke in your RP. In the written format, text does a horrendous job of conveying other people's reactions, and there is often a wide delay between when you post and when the other person reads it. Over voice, you hear the reaction and can instantly tell how your joke was received. This can do wonders for a tone, and help people keep their comedic streak if that's the kind of character they want to play. Alright, the fact I'm still reading should tell you that I'm still interested. What do I need in order to play?: All you need is a microphone that we can understand you through, a Discord account, and a character to submit. Create your character (or use one you've already created), describe it (or link to it), and post it here. If it interests me, then I'll DM you a link to the server. Okay, but you said welcome One and all in your description, but I don't have a microphone/my character wasn't accepted. What gives?: That's a pretty strong point, but my welcome was really an in-universe welcome. If you can't get inside the universe, then there's nothing I can do. I'm sorry, you're on your own at that point. Okay, I've gotten into the universe, but I'm confused. You said I was in the underworld, but where's Cerberus? He's in the picture. Did you lie to me? How could you?: That's my fault. That picture was sitting on my computer for a while and I forgot the source. It looked cool, so I used it, but it's not my art (as if I could make something that good). But no, Cerberus isn't around yet. He shows up a while after the story. So, if you really looking forward to Cerberus related adventures, then I'm really sorry. I falsely advertised that. I'd tell you to look for a RP that does have Cerberus, but I don't see any of those around, so your out of luck there. Sorry again. Anyway, that's Pantheon! Make sure your weekend's free, and don't forget to bring your microphones.

"The Town Friendship Forgot" Currently accepting applications. Also accepting all ideas and input. INTRO: Princess Twilight Sparkle has become the ruler of all of Equestria, uniting many and making the kingdom more harmonious. However, there was one town that she never visited. A town that her friendship map never pointed to. A town that was often overlooked because it wasn't on most maps... Welcome to the town of Friendshire! Ponies and creatures from far and wide would often stumble on this town if they didn't feel like they belonged anywhere else. If Ponyville just wasn't right for them, if Yakyakistan was too destructive, if Griffinstone felt too coldhearted... Whatever the reason, if you couldn't find a place you belong and decided to wonder in the great unknown, you just might find Friendshire. It's not a small or poor town, by any means. It's big enough to rival Canterlot, and all the buildings and homes are well taken care of. Plenty of room for all! However, it's up to all the citizens to pitch in and try to make this place worth living in. This town is a last resort for others who need a place to belong. Once upon a time, Friendshire was ruled by two mayors who worked in unison wonderfully. Then, one day, the two mayors stopped getting along. They separated to different ends of the town, and they barely do anything for the town anymore. Hardly anyone sees their faces, and they hardly ever do anything to govern the town. But all hope is not lost! There is a pony with a magical item. This item will eventually help reunite the two mayors and make the town perfect again. However, this magical item will need the assistance of as many creatures as possible. It will lead everyone down a series of different quests, activities, and journeys. Those who wish to do so can help directly, and those who wish to do otherwise can show their support through other means. Either way, this town needs as many occupants as it gets. ...So what do you say? Need a place to belong? It might not be perfect, but there will never be a dull moment in Friendshire. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT THE RP: THIS ROLEPLAY IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED. We are no longer accepting applicants. Thank you for your interest. LINK TO THE RP: Thank you for the memories.

Searching Searching for a RP partner: MLP adventures
posted a topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
It's been some time since I last visited this site, and I am uncertain how to feel about its lack of evident changes. I am no exception, however, so I might as well state my intentions here and hope for the best. I am looking for a literate, 18+ partner who can dedicate themselves to whatever we put to task. I'm talking proper grammar, punctuation, and paragraph spacing. No questions ending without question marks. No missing "a's" in a sentence. And for Faust sake, no "but why tho" type speech. I absolutely abhor this practice, and will turn anyone down who cannot hold themselves to a respectable standard. That being said, if you do meet the requirements described above, I would love to converse with you, perhaps find more like-minded individuals, and discuss the ever-present topic of roleplay. I have some ideas- some are minor, some are major, but at least one of them should catch your interest. From adventures in uncharted land, constantly harassed by Cosmos, to exploring the underwater ruins of Andalusia (you'll get it if you get the reference.) Please, contact me at your leisure, and thank you for your time ~ If you want to contact me on Discord (where I spend 90% of my time) you can find me through Epiphany#6229 Below is a random snippet of roleplay with one of my friends: -
Twilight Sparkle has just been coronated. She has ascended to alicornhood. Flight, magic, fortitude, power, prestige, they are all the fruits of her labor. Labor is something you have though, so what gives? Ah, but she had guidance. Guidance from Princess Celestia herself. That sounds pretty open and shut, right? The requirement for divine intervention explains why there aren't more alicorns flying around. But, what if I told you that there was a mare out there that has the same vision that this Princess Celestia has and that she is willing to give out that same guidance at no cost? Well, this mare does exist, and your character has made their way to a secluded building to meet this mare. Ascension is within your grasp. At least that's what the invitation says as you look it over one more time. RULES! (They can be broken if there is a good reason, but I'll be the one deciding what is and isn't a good reason. Be warned.) - You can have multiple characters, but only one character can be a member of The Order of New Equestria! Chose wisely. - If your character leaves the RP, you can submit another one. - Alicorn OC's can get in so long as they have a good reason. - Canon characters are allowed and welcome if they have a good reason to be here. - The setting is pre-industrial. If I'm doing a good enough job then it should feel that way. In case I'm not, here is a description: Steel is expensive and requires a competent smith. Gunpowder is exotic. Electricity is exclusive to storms (Electric magic is nonexistent). The only 'automation' you're likely to see comes from rare clockwork devices that need to be manually cranked. - No God Modding. This goes without saying but deserves restating. I have final say over the NPC's and the environment. If you want to surprise someone, PM me first and we can discuss whether you succeed in what you want to do. Note: When submitting a character, keep in mind that more information will give me a better idea of your character, but if you want us to learn more about your character as we go along, you can PM me all the details and I can approve you without you having to give away too much about your character to the rest of the RP. Just make sure you are descriptive when the RP starts if you decide to do this. General Guidelines: - Don't be afraid to end your post with investigating. I like telling explorative players what they found. - Don't be alarmed if you see a PM from me, usually, I'm telling you information I don't want the rest of the RP to see until later. - Try to be approachable. Nopony likes a brushoff! - Don't be afraid to do some approaching of your own. Ponies don't always need a reason to find out more about the ponies around them. A lot of times discovery is the reason. - Don't be afraid to be a little grandiose. This premise invites a lot of ambitious ponies. I don't mind working with a subplot here or there so long as it's related to the RP. - Have fun! This is a hobby, not a job. In Character Accepted Characters/(Players): - Starlight Glimmer (ExplosionMare) - Silver Tongue (2: the revenge) (ReverieRiver) - Magnolia (Monotonality) - Fuchsia (abrony-mouse) Aspects: Alright, you've eaten all your greens. Let's talk goodies. This AU is based on Cultist Simulator. Each character will get an affinity to an aspect that gives you access to the magic system. Unlike most magic systems though, you won't have to choose between all the aspects, I will. Upon application I will assign your character an aspect and when it's revealed, it'll be listed below. Cultist Simulator is all about being vague so you'll have to find out what your aspect does as the RP goes on. Hint: Try to save actions with your aspect for the end of the post. The last thing you want is to write a whole speech for your character only for an experiment to fail. Moth: Heart: Starlight Glimmer Grail: Forge: Octavia Lantern: Magnolia Edge: Winter: Knock: Secret Histories: Fuchsia Time Line: Day 1: Evening: Starlight Glimmer arrives via train and is escorted by Octavia (under unseen duress) to a temple upon a hill, along the forest edge. They meet a mare by the name 'Silver Tongue'. Night: A green flash erupts from the temple tower, the doors open, and Silver Tongue is knocked unconscious by a mysterious force. The group of three are harried in by threat from a monster composed entirely of fur, claw, and limb. Magnolia approaches from the forest, narrowly escapes an encounter with the same beast, and enters the temple. The four are greeted by a mare with abnormal horns named Limbo Dreams and a stallion that shares Silver Tongues name and revives the mare. The four are offered to be awakened by Limbo Dreams. Magnolia and Starlight accept. The two are taken by Limbo into a place called the Wood. They journey to the Temple of The Wheel (an odd looking rock). Midnight: The three are hounded by a swarm of moths and forced to enter an opening in the rock. Magnolia manages to find an alternative escape and is separated. Starlight is trapped in a mysterious sky of silence and stillness. Meanwhile the mare by the name Silver Tongue has gone missing and Magnolia must work with the Stallion Silver Tongue to fight to save Limbo and Starlight. At the same time, Octavia, who denied Limbo's offer and fled the temple, is reassured by Fuchsia. Post Midnight: Magnolia risks life and limb to save Limbo from the blue space and drags Starlight along with her to safety. Magnolia, in her frustration with Starlight's rhetoric, makes physical contact. This prompts Silver Tongue to scold Magnolia for tampering with a pony exposed to a place she has no understanding of. When his lecture is rebuffed, he challenges Magnolia to a duel. Silver Tongue wins by ring-out and announces a banquet tomorrow to officially welcome them to TONE. Fuchsia and Octavia are already in their home by the time Silver offers to escort Magnolia and Starlight to their temporary homes. Fuchsia discovers that Octavia's residence is recent and funded by the Glovers. Magnolia and Starlight curl up with insightful books and go to sleep. Fuchsia uses a dream catcher with spectacular results. Then, she notices that the house is unnaturally soundproofed and investigates Octavia as she sleeps through troubles. A horrendous tambourine is playing through a record player.

You're eyes take some time to adjust to the harsh artificial light from overhead. This is not your beautiful house. This is not your beautiful bed. The walls are padded with a single door with a small window. When you try to get up, you realize you are restrained to the bed. A straight jacket is the final peace of the puzzle. Searching Tales of the Renegadeverse [OOC thread]
posted a topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Hey, y'all. So, I'm planning on doing an open, freeform RP set in my original superhero universe (known as the Renegadeverse), and I'm looking for players. So, before I get into the nitty-gritty of the setting itself, let me get into the (relatively few) rules here: RULES OF THE ROLEPLAY, AS RELATED BY RIP-ROARIN' RENEGADE 1. No godmodding - "godmodding", is in short, controlling another person's character. YOU control your own characters, got it? 2. Tonally, this RP is attempting to mimic the comic books of the 1930s-60s; this means no foul language ("minced oaths" such as darn are perfectly fine, however), excessive violence, etc. If you're not sure if your posts are suitable for the roleplay, don't hesitate to ask - we're all here to have fun. 3. PLEASE no OP characters - if you're playing a superhero (which is very likely to be the case), ensure your powers are reasonable but also don't forget to be creative with them. On that note, you don't even have to play a superhero (or even human) if you don't want to. The comics of the Golden and Silver Ages had all sorts of characters ranging from superheroes and secret agents to everyday teenagers and aliens. 4. While this is a freeform RP and I don't expect a certain number of posts every day or something like that, please let people know if you can't post or don't want to RP anymore. No one likes hanging storylines. ------------------ Overall Premise for the Setting Taking heavy inspiration from Alan Moore’s miniseries 1963 as well as his classic 22-issue run on Supreme and Gary Carlson’s Big Bang Comics, the “Renegadeverse” as it is collectively known is a throwback to the Golden and Silver Age of comics in all their fun and oftentimes cheesy (and sometimes cosmic-spanning) glory. Alien invasions from Jupiter, mad scientists, eldritch horrors of the deep, and more - if you can imagine it, it’s here. Although set in the deliberately-nebulous "present day", the United States (the primary setting of the Renegadeverse) in terms of popular culture and fashions is perpetually stuck in the 1950s-early/mid 1960s - in trope terms, this makes the setting a "retro universe" and thankfully averts all the uncomfortable social norms of the decades in question. There are seven major heroes (or antiheroes in two cases): The Infinite (think this setting's Superman), Aquaria the Wrath of Hydra (think Namor mixed with Batman and given a Cthulhu Mythos twist), Ishtar (think Thor as seen in the 1960s, with a dash of Hawkgirl and-at least appearancewise-Wonder Woman), Lettuce the Penguin (think Howard the Duck, albeit with the exact opposite temperament: happy and chill instead of angry and bitter), Eisheth (think Ghost Rider or perhaps Spawn), Infinigirl (think Supergirl, obviously), and Marvelous (think a composite of Shazam and the Flash) The Infinite: Aquaria: Ishtar: Lettuce: Eisheth: Infinigirl: Marvelous: ------------ STARTING LOCATIONS I figure that the RP's characters, whoever they are, will need a place to start; so why not have them start at, or near, the home cities of the major heroes?: Novopolis, Ohio: home to the Infinite, alias Joe Carter (and his daughter Josie, alias Infinigirl). Founded in the early 1900s as a testament to the wonders of modern technology and progressivism, Novopolis has grown to be one of the largest cities in the USA and certainly lives up to its promises as a city of tomorrow. Providence, Rhode Island: in contrast to the almost-utopian retrofuturism of Novopolis, Providence is a grimy and rather dark city that hasn't seemed to left the 1930s. There also a sense of dread that seems to permeate the place, almost as if you're being watched by...things...in the ocean nearby. New York City, New York: The City That Never Sleeps and home to Ishtar, alias Marlene Babylon, who works at the Museum of Natural History. San Francisco: Known amongst the superhero community as the "Weirdness Capital of the World", namely because of its local "primary" hero Lettuce the Penguin, who works at the K-MRX television station as host of a children's television show. Detroit, Michigan: while not Eisheth's proper home base (that would be the village of Hilland Lake), it's in the same general area. Philidelphia, Pennsylvania: while also not Marvelous' proper home base (that would be New Hope), the capital of the United States in the Renegadeverse is part of his general area of patrol. ------------ CHARACTER SHEET NAME: SUPERHERO ALIAS (if your character isn't a superhero, skip this): SUPERPOWERS (if your character isn't a superhero, skip this) SPECIES (if nonhuman)/ETHNICITY (if human): APPEARANCE: COSTUME (if superhero): PERSONALITY: BACKSTORY: OTHER STUFF: -

Snow Star is a traveling musician who travels around Equestria performing his musical talents, only to return to his home each year to spend Hearths Warming alone. He never really had a motivation to move from his home, as he was comfortable, but perhaps, a special pony could convince him to settle down. This is where your character comes into play. Hi everyone, I am going to just put this out here but I am looking for someone to do a fun BNA x MLP crossove to rp with. It can be set in either the BNA universe or in Equestria. It will be anthro, mostly a SoL and Romance type of RP, and I will be using my Red Panda Beastman Ash Furleigh

I have been looking for a good, decent roleplay on these forums. I don't mind if its a group rp or 1x1. Preferably the person would be playing canon characters or OC characters, be capable of describing surroundings and playing NPC characters. This wouldn't be an rp with the average tone of the show and would have fighting and conflict, but no gore or overly descriptive / violent stuff. Furries and human characters are not what I am looking for. I will be playing my character of Cali. I'll be able to deny characters and users if I deem it appropriate, no ill will or malice intended. https://mlpforums.com/roleplay-world/roleplay-characters-sheets/original-characters/cali-r39

Searching My Mute Changeling Needs a Loving Parent (+ some friends)
posted a topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Sal is a different changeling. He was horn in one of the war hives of Chrysalis's. However, because he couldn't speak from birth, he was ousted from the hive and left to fend for himself. He made the long journey to Ponyville, doing whatever it took to survive. Because his heart had changed, he no longer had to feed off love, but he still remained in the non-reformed changeling state. Therefore, he made the trek. There, he stumbled upon Cheerile's school, where he had to sneak and listen from the outside to learn how to read and write. After five days of listening, Sal was able to read and write, but couldn't still couldn't speak. It was hard for him to communicate with ponies, because some were still stuck in the Canterlot Wedding mentality. Sal made his way over to the school supplies shop. The owner was freaked out a bit that a little changeling walked into her store. Sal tried his best to tell his story using improvised sign language he made, but the owner was confused. He then pointed to the little chalkboard he wanted and mewed. The owner handed it to him and he ended up writing "No home. Cannot speak. Need this." It was then that the owner understood that he needed the chalkboard to communicate. Sal ended up getting the chalkboard for free, and to this day, Sal still seeks a loving and caring parent. Sal is a very curious changeling and always wants to know how or why something works the way it does. Sal is incapable of speaking speech, because of a brain condition. All he can do is make noises such as mewing, giggling, whimpering, crying and other sounds. He is generally cheerful and wants ponies to know him. When ponies don't treat him so, he gets extremely upset and withdraws. So for this RP, I'd like to start out with someone finding Sal and taking him in. From there, others could join and they could become his friends, which could turn the RP in a sort of adventure. We will see how it goes. -
This Rp will take place in Canterlot of the EQG universe but includes a lot of elements from both the MHA (My Hero Academy) and RWBY universes. It will take place at the beginning of my character Tyra Rose's backstory. The setting is the Canterlot Hero Academy, where each character will share a dorm with three other characters, attending lectures, practices and of course assignments along with other college type activities. There will be rival/enemy teams and enemies such as Grimm or Shadows, and there will be villains as well. Your character can have a quirk as well as a fighting style/weapon. Please state your interest with a link/description of your OC here. Tagging some people I think might be interested: @Dynamo Pad @Samurai Equine @The Wife of Hawks EDIT: The themes of RWBY, MHA (and possibly Bleach) are going to be very loose

IC thread is over here. Salem University 2.0 (the first MLPF version) can be found here, for reference. Credit to @Canteen_the_unstable for creating the premise and the original iteration of the RP (here, if you're interested). I will be playing using an adapted version of my character Dr. Duality Wave-Particle - specifically, a human version, with augmentations roughly as follows: My secondary character is named Dot Dash (aka Deedah), with bio given below: Introduction: Notes (for reference if you want details about various aspects of the RP's various premises): Extra details: [fair warning, there's too much for me to properly format so it's copy-pasted from various posts in SU 2.0 - if it's in quotes it's from expositional IC posts, otherwise it's explanations from the OOC thread] Main Rules: Be respectful of others and their characters. No one-liners (ideally at least a paragraph per character per post). You must play at least one student character for every teacher character you play, although you can play student characters without playing any teachers. This is so we don't end up with situations where a single student is split between a dozen teachers and classes are basically empty of player characters. All students start at first-year level, regardless of how powerful they are. 4th year students can stay 4th-year and continue their magical studies for as long as they like; graduation from the school isn't mandatory and there are no higher tiers of studenthood. Magic as a whole has very few rules, but all mages have their own ways of doing things. This means that everyone can have their own interpretation and 'vibe' of magic existing side by side with everyone else's, but also that everyone's magic has to have a good power balance with everyone else's too. As such, your character's magic should have fairly well-defined ways that it can and can't behave (i.e., limits and internally self-consistent principles wherever relevant). Magic is not superpowers, although the distinction is often blurry - if in doubt, ask. Example Classes of Magic: Elemental (fire, earth, wind, water, ice, crystal, metal, light, life, etc.) Mystical (enchanters, shamans, witch doctors, potion brewers, talisman crafters, etc.) Other Character Categories: Students (1st years, 2nd years, 3rd years, and 4th years), Teachers (either teaching about specific powers or general principles of magic), Villainous accomplices (see following paragraph), People from the past (see paragraph following following paragraph). There is an overarching storyline to this RP involving a man named Shahal Blackrose and his accomplices, who are devoted to destroying the Seal of the Daemon Realm. Several character positions may be applied for within Shahal's group of accomplices, although they will only be playable later on in the course of the RP. In addition, character fat
