With all of the junk that some people spout about it (Overwatch players who claim it's a clone. It's nothing even close. It's like calling Call of Duty a Halo clone, pretty much...), I feel like some of you should at least know of it. Put this thread here because I think there should be at least somebody else on this forum that actually plays this game, and maybe it can be discussed here. I play it on steam, and in-game (I WILL change it to something much better and less nooby when I get the crystals... If only I didn't already spend some on the Infiltrator Pip body skin...) I'm xPurplexx. I mainly play Androxus, Grohk, and Makoa, though recently I've been playing some Ruckus, Mal'Damba, and Drogoz (So that way I can cover most possibilities on my team composition). I've also played a good bit of Pip and Kinessa.
I work at a store of eclectic awesomeness, and one day while checking stock and organizing our various camouflage pants, this idea came to me. This is not meant to be serious, and is a bit of a jab at some of the couch warriors who occasionally come in and think they know everything but just make fools of themselves. Woodland: A vintage version of Multicam Tropic. Urban: How Woodland looks to colourblind people. MARPAT: Low-res Woodland CADPAT: Low-res Multicam Tropic MTP: A ripoff of Multicam based on a blurry photo. Atacs AU: A picture of a Multicam Arid cylinder spinning at high speed. Atacs FG: A picture of a vertically banded Multicam Tropic and Arid cylinder spinning at high speed. Digital Urban: Low-res Multicam Black Flecktarn: A military foray into abstact art. The name likely comes from and old Irish insult first used to describe it. Swiss Alpine: Severely bloodstained Woodland. French Lizard: A drunken frenchman trying to paint Woodland withou the right paints. Multicam: Totally the most tactical camo, designed to keep top-tier operators in stealth mode in any environment. Arid and Tropic variants are specialized for virtual invisibility during ops in desert and jungle environments respectively. Multicam Black: The marriage of the most tactical colour and the most tactical camo. Operators Instantly become 15% more tactical when they don this tactically designed pattern. It goes tactically with all tactical gear, rendering it perfect for the tactical environment. TACTICAL!!!
Master Thread here ================== Okay, I'll get right to the point, I need class ideas for the game I'm trying to make, codenamed "Project Equinox". It's a Tactical RPG. If you don't know what that is, youtube search 'tactics ogre' or 'final fantasy tactics'. I need class ideas right now, mkay? I have some, but I need MOAR. Srs, I only have a few Mage Tier classes, and 2 Melee ones. Ima put a crappy MS Paint diagram down below in a minute, showing the skill trees. NOTE: I just have numbers there right now because I don't have enough classes. I just need ideas, mkay? One rule: It has to fit in with the MLP universe. No "Chain Gun Pony" or "Vampire Pony". It's not a gory game. Bout the violence level of Fighting is Magic. ======== Diagram | V List of classes: Mage Tier === Earth Pony: 'Farmer' - They grow plants to attack for them. Nuff said. 'Gypsy' - Not quite sure how this'll work, but they inflict status damage on enemies. Pegasus: 'Nimbus' - The Pegasi's Summoner class. Summons clouds to deal damage/heal/whatever. 'Prism' - Locks abilities and causes status ailments by kicking beams of pure color at enemies. And other weather related classes. (aka Snow/Rain/Hail/etc.) Unicorn: 'Stargazer' - They use their powerful 'Galaxy Cross' ability to summon constellations to battle for them Melee Tier: ============ 'Baker' - Attacks by ASSAULTING ENEMIES WITH CAKE!. No, srs. They chuck baked goods at enemies. 'Thief' - They steal. Hence the name Thief. And that's all I got as far as classes go right now. Please post any class ideas.
Go here for class and ability ideas Some basic info below | | V Classes: Check the thread. Possible special characters: Doctor Whooves, Solrac, Maybe Feld0, Not sure bout others. Basic story outline: An account of Celestia's rise to power, battle with discord, and the circumstances leading up to Luna's banishment to the moon. More in-depth story outline: "Just after Commander Hurricane, Princess Platinum, and Chancellor Puddinghead christened the new land of Equestria, they started work on a capital, high on a mountaintop, to oversee the goings-on of their new land. They ruled for a time as a triumvirate, 50 years in fact, until the first Great Dragon Migration. The Ponies, in colonizing the area, had most of their farms built on the large plain where Ponyville is now located, which is also, unfortunately, right in the Dragons' ancient migratory path. There was no harvest that year. Dragons flew overhead, burning everything in sight, the sky itself seemed to radiate with the heat of Dragon's flame. The winter of that year was both the worst in recorded history, and the beginning of the greatest, most peaceful reign Equestria has ever seen. The triumvirate, having grown lazy and corrupt, began to fall back into their old patterns of blaming and insulting the others. It wasn't long before the Windigoes reappeared, summoned by the ponies' hatred. Without their most loyal advisors, who had each left to make their own paths long before, their hatred consumed them. They were frozen solid. Without proper leadership, the government fell into chaos. All hope seemed lost, until twin sisters, Unicorns with the wings of Pegasi, rose up to defend and rebuild their home. This is their story." Sorry it's not that well written, but I hope it gets the point across.
