    Three Crazy Years!*

Three years I joined this community on April 10th 2014, just about three years ago. I don't recall ever doing a 'forumversary' blog here, and I suspect that the reason why was simple; outside of some form of self-congratulatory pat on the back it seemed rather pointless for me. Basically, I didn't think I had much to say other than, 'I have been here x years'. This year though, I have words. I think that taking stock of where you have been, where your are now, and where you are going helps with perspective. I look back at the last three years with shock at how everything has changed in my life. Recalling what my life looked like in April 2014 and comparing it to April 2017 leads to mindbogglingly insane realizations of how dynamic our world can be. I want to use this blog series as a roadmap of sorts of my history here. Highlight my favorite events and times. I need to say this though. I will obviously mention other users who have impacted my time here, but I will try and stay clear of some highly emotionally charged moments. This time the elephant in the room and I will make peace. Basically, if you are looking for me to talk about forum drama, you will be disappointed. Over the next month I will focus on why I came here, and a few of the most impactful moments of my time among you all. *I am also publishing this a bit early since this week has quite a bit going on. Star Wars Celebration, Easter, Pony Premiers ... lots. April 2014 - A Wild Jeric Appeared This is my original Welcome Post There are some amusing lines in that first post. For one, you can plainly see that I had yet to become the "Prophet of Rarity" as I was called once. My first words on MLPF were a quote from the Princess Bride, and I talked briefly about my current job, family, and hinted at how I became a fan. I smile seeing who welcomed be to this forum. There were Destiny, a former head of Poniverse PR)who can be seen as @zenyatta, and Magos Amphrose currently going by @Bedman. Destiny in particular makes me smile knowing that several months later I would be working with her on staff. Magos though, I recall what I was thinking when I read his post. It confused the living hell out of me. What the hell is a Nyx? I love that comment about my avatar, which is what I am wearing today. There were members on this forum I noticed almost immediately. Some are no longer part of this community, and some are. Anyway, at this point, I was a Twifan. Rarity was waiting in the wings though. The World Cup - The Dawn of Fabulosity So for those that don't know, there used to be a strong vocal minority of Rarity fans on this forum. Forgotten names like @ghostfacekiller39, @Obsidian Sky, @GlowingFlask, @Blobulle @Andaasonsan and more were core people who you could find in the Rarity Fan Club. Others like @Woohoo, @ooBrony, @Sunny Fox, @A.V., and @Radiance64 would also heavily contribute to the fan club as well. It was something I noticed. Back then there was this sense that many disliked the character of Rarity, and that characters most fierce defenders did a hellova lot of in depth analysis on her virtues and flaws. I paid attention. It was impossible not to. Rarity started off being my least favorite of the mane six. I character I dismissed readily. I joined the forum as a fan of Twilight, and was still catching up watching the show, and what started happening was shocking. An early post, just four days after I joined, is found here I often post on social media and forum platforms with casual musings. I find it illuminating to go back and see what my train of thought was, and how it ended. I wonder if I ever did elevate Rarity to Best Pony status? The MLPF World Cup 2014 During this time there was a user created event called the MLPF 2014 World Cup. It basically amounted to a popularity poll with various characters facing off while the fans of the characters posted text and images to root them on and try and get support from other members. I wish I could say I was immune from that sort of thing. I am not. Actually I am being extremely unfair here. The users involved actually put together one hell of a topic This was @Sterling Crimson's brainchild but quite a few contributed. @Batbrony used his word crafting to actually do mock interviews with the characters whole RP'ing as Derpy and Dinky. There were anthems for each character, and flags designed as well. The conclusion was high drama as it turned out Luna fans created a few sock puppet accounts to cheat causing that characters disqualification. Fluttershy faced off against Rarity and eventually it was a Flutters vs. Twilight battle with Twilight taking the prize. Good times. Before the main matches began I made my first post in the RFC as they were asking for people to basically post ponies. There was no going back. Not satisfied with simply posting fabulous pony pics, I created a serious of nonsense short stories that became referred to as the Rarity Bible (and my role name). Celestia tells Rarity she is to face three tests here Rarity and the Epic of the Killer Crabs Here, here, here Rarity vs. Tom here Yeah. Jeric does ridiculous ... kinda bad and overly punny ... but I do it. Seriously though, that was a fun moment for most of the people who participated. Rarity came in third, which was surprising to even her die hard fans. It was during that time that I saw the first hints of this being different than most internet communities. The diversity here was off the charts, it felt a more welcoming than YouTube comments, and when I felt so inclined I could easily switch for choas mode to thoughtful and be taken seriously. I decided during the World Cup that this place may be worth chilling out at. That is a relative term since I tend to make posts in between or concurrently with IRL activities, but this was a time sink I felt was deserving of my spare moments. It wasn't because of what I felt I could contribute that kept me here, it was the interaction with the users and seeing the community at large that made it worthwhile. The crazies, the fierce debaters, the relaxed ones, the passionate types, and the philosophers seemed to congregate together. Don't get me wrong, I know I come across as this unrealistically optimistic goofball, but that is only one part of who I am. I suspected that there was simply more to this community that met the eye. Was there some high drama at this time. Of course! But, the moments of merriment outweighed the more explosive ones by far. I'm not a fan of the concept of a 'Golden Age'. Experiences are relative, yanno? This is more like that moment of discovery. There would be experiences down the road that would lead to immense highs, but this was an era that had its own charm to it. It is easy to lose site of that sometimes. That's it for now, but next up - Waifu Marriages by a real (not really) Minister. Yes, I am dead serious, this was a thing!
  3. Seeing as there is a thread about foods you dislike that everyone else likes - lets make one about drinks. So as the title asks, what drinks do you dislike that everyone else likes? ______________ - Dr. Pepper I don't know how you Americans can like this stuff. Blegh. - Orange Fanta - Sunkist - Flavoured Water really popular in my school and I have no clue why - Aloe Vera also really popular in my school - Pepsi Max - Mountain Dew - White Wine I'll drink red wine anyday but white? NO. And that's it. From what I can think of. You guys?
  4. The game is simple; someone posts a screenshot of a moment from and episode and you have to guess which episode it is from! You can either post a new screenshot or guess the screenshot of somepony's else post. I'll start
  5. Much like video games based on movies, games based on cartoons also have had a stigma for having....not so good games, some of which can be legendarily bad. But much like games based on movies, there are still those cartoon-based games that will break the mold and show us that there can also be good ones too. 10) Tiny Toon Adventures: Montana's Movie Madness(Gameboy) This game really surprised me when I was a kid. Unlike most others, I actually never got a Pokemon game with my Gameboy until much later. While my top games for the system were Donkey Kong and Legend of Zelda A Link's Awakening, but one other game that got as much attention as those was Tiny Toon Adventures: Montana's Movie Madness, a surprisingly challenging platformer with various movie themed levels. I adored it, a lot. Early on, both Capcom and Konami actually had their fair share of strong licensed titles and this was one of them. 9) Goof Troop(SNES) One of Capcom's many Disney games back on the SNES, and it is also the first game designed by Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil franchise and the Father of Survival Horror. Basic premise is that Goofy and Max were trapped on a pirate island and you have to save Pete and PJ. What makes this action-adventure game fun is the co-op mode where one player controls Goofy and Max respectively, and co-op mode can lead to some seriously great times. Playing it alone is a lot of fun too. 8) Sailor Moon: Another Story(SNES) A game that unfortunately is Japan only, Sailor Moon Another Story is a surprisingly good JRPG. Having an original story that takes place between the 3rd and 4th story arcs, the biggest selling point(at least for me) of the game was being able to control the Sailor Senshi as much like the anime, they all have their unique abilities that make them useful depending on the situation. And there's also multiple ending encouraging replayability 7) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time(SNES/Arcade) Another game from Konami's Licensed Catalog, Turtles In Time is one of the very, very few SNES arcade ports that didn't get neutered*coughfinalfightcough*. Despite not being able to play up 4-players in the SNES version, it's was actually able to add a lot to the SNES version like a couple more levels and tons of cutscenes and visuals faithful to the cartoon airing at the time. 6) Mickey Mouse's Magical Quest A Capcom platformer starring the Iconic mouse himself, it kept visuals that was some of the best on the system as well as staying true to Mickey Mouse as well as featuring some very fun and solid platforming 5) Ducktales(NES) I think the best way to describe this game is that it's basically a Megaman game if it was produced by Disney(helped by the fact that Keiji Inafune and most of the staff behind the series worked on it). It boast similar visuals, and a soundtrack and difficulty on par with Megaman. Plus Ducktales was the birth of the legendary pogo bounce. If you can there's a remake on the PCPS360U by Wayforward that's fairly faithful to the original game 4) Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom(PS2/Xbox/Gamecube) Another game that took me by surprise. Battle for Bikini Bottom is a strong platformer in vein of Super Mario Games like SM64 or Sunshine, where you collect golden spatulas in order to unlock more levels and defeat Plankton and his robot army. Has a pretty fun physics engine, tons of references to past episodes(back when the show was still good), and excellent use of the 3 characters Spongebob, Patrick and Sandy. The Spongebob Movie game is also pretty similar and just as good 3) South Park: The Stick of Truth(Xbox360/PS3/PC) What makes South Park The Stick of Truth so memorable to fans is that it is a South Park episode in almost every single way. The humor, the visuals, the voice actors are very true to the series. Tons of fanservice and being an overall fun RPG makes this game a favorite for fans as well as being a solid RPG 2) Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 First off, DAT THEME SONG. That said Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 is both a great love letter to fans and a solid fighter. It marks a high point in the Budokai series by getting rid of some of the fluff the first two games had, having a giant roster, and having tons of content that keeps you going. The movesets are much more manageable to make the game more balanced than the past games(though admittedly it's still unbalanced) and the Dragon Universe lets you play through the main story(as well as some movies) with multiple characters(though it's still a step down from Budokai 1's story mode). It also has a fairly large roster(at the time) featuring characters from every saga, as well as the movies and even a couple from GT and the original Dragonball. Also, again, DAT THEME SONG before I get to no.1, here are some honorable mentions, either because I never got to play them(but other people liked them) or because they just missed the mark: Honorable mentions: The Simpsons Arcade game the Sailor Moon Arcade game X-Men Mutant Apocalypse Dragon Ball Z Legacy of Goku 2 Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers The Spongebob Movie Futurama The Simpsons Game Kim Possible What's the Switch Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law a Megas XLR game that'll never happen a decent Friendship is Magic game that'll never happen 1) The Simpson Hit and Run(PS2/Xbox/Gamecube/PC) When I say this is one of the best Grand Theft Auto games ever...I mean it. While it was a blatant GTA clone(much like how Road Rage=Crazy Taxi, and Skateboarding=Tony Hawk), one thing Hit and Run did what the other two failed to do was copy everything that made the original game good. While obviously the gratuitous violence isn't there, it's still a GTA clone, but a very excellent one. The game has it's own charm and fun that makes it stand out. The gameplay and car controls feel surprisingly great, missions are fun and diverse, exploring Springfield is a blast and the fanservice is glorious. If you love the Simpsons, or just GTA-style games, and haven't tried this game yet, you are doing yourself a huge disservice Also the soundtrack is excellent, which is something I don't say to most licensed game's OST EDIT: I'm pretty sure if I remade this list, Transformers Devastation would be no.1. Sorry, I still can't shut up about that game
  6. Hello! Thanks for clicking on this blog, whether it was accidental or not, and welcome to the first excerpt of Universal Dimensions! Before anything, I would like to say that this is NOT pony fan fiction. Completely original and started from scratch at Google Documents! If you enjoy the first excerpt, and there is even just a few people requesting another excerpt, then I will gladly post another! Please, leave your opinions! This is all from scratch on Google Documents. If there are any grammar mistakes or any odd wording, remember that it is a rough draft. Not publishing format. It is always heavily debated with whether or not magic is bad. And, even though I always come to like it, and that I approve of it, I usually can’t deny its bad causes, which has come in many ways for everything. I believe magic is absolutely necessary for everything; after all, without it, I never would have completed my “big mission.” Magic is everywhere anyway, at least in my universe. It is used by your enemies, by you, and it flows as a powerful energy through everybody and through nature. It is only a natural force of power. Not only is it natural, but it is the basis and core of power for Angel and Daemon powers… Daemon powers, specifically. Daemons use dark spirited magic for the effect of triumph and strength, but Daemon magic is so “loose” and difficult to control that it instead is used as a much more powerful offense: curses. Curses come in all sorts of forms, but the overall definition for it is just Daemon magic enforced as an illness of cruel transition; in other words, dark spirited magic “approved” by Daemons to bring stress inside one, and duress on one. In fact, curses are one of the most dangerous effects of magic. They have different effects, varying through loss of self-control, head traumas, weaknesses, turncoat, and even Daemon transformations. Those who are infected with certain curses that grant strengths usually turn by to Daemon magic instead of “standard” magic. Standard magic is a privilege granted to regular humans, but it was never written as a rule for we people to take advantage of other powers. Standard, or nature magic, is a very strong force, with the powers of ice, fire, weather and plant life, but it just does not have such the abilities as of Daemon and Angel magic. Sure, there are staffs and weapons that consume magic for dozens of different effects, but the very magic comes from inside of you, so only those who are capable of magic, may use magic. Many people are trained by others to use magic. Very few carry it as an innate ability they are born with, people such as me; except I don’t remember ever being young. I don’t even know my precise age, which could possibly be late thirties, maybe even forties. I just always felt like I was there. Not since the transportation, but I can appreciate and like for what this place is, what my world is! Such a place for limitless discoveries and combat, with creatures of all sorts, almost everywhere you go… Such creatures also means such Daemons, and there seems to be more Daemon energy pulsing through life than Angel magic. Magic isn’t even performed by humans very much anymore; we Mages aren’t very easy to come across, and there used to be such a countless army of Mages, from what I know. But that was meant to be before I came here, and I feel like I am the only one of magic abilities. Axial and I, at least, but he is a Daemon anyway. I probably shouldn’t even think about that, him being a Daemon, for even he is attempting to redeem himself and become an Angel again, but, with honesty, he is a long way from such an event, considering his actions and attitude since the first day we met. I still wonder to this present day if it was the best of my destiny to meet Axial. I do respect him, but, hell, he has a nerve for everything; but, like I said, he is a Daemon, but I do not know if that personality is natural for dark spirits. I still remember everything that happened the first day I met him… It was as soon as I stumbled into this universe, after I had successfully finished my “big mission,” which I am not going to mention for a possibly long period of time, where I just found myself rummaged into the dirt ground. My body was aching from the universal warp explosion that sent me here, and even I refused to let myself. I rested there, with my face carelessly buried in the dirt, and just kept debating with myself what to do. It was only a few minutes when I felt some strong kicking against my back and a man’s voice. “Hey, kid, come on. You okay?” I lifted my head up and looked to my left to see a tall, armored man with bloody cloth strapped over his shoulders on each side. His chestplate was engraved with some sort of chain of symbols, leading down in what I supposed would be some sort of message. He wore a mage’s hat, and finally, he had wings. Huge wings, for a magic-enhanced human to have at least. His appearance made me look weak, comparing him to me in my robes, but these were the robes I have begun my life in, and what I shall end it in. Even though he saw I have noticed him, he kept kicking me anyway. “That blast better have been an accident. I don’t want any people screwing around with nature or coming to this place.” He helped me up from the ground, and when I finally stood on my weak, tired, sandaled feet, he studied me back and front. I didn’t move, mostly because I was extremely tired, but because of the glimpse I had of his sword and long assault rifle. After about a few minutes, he finally approached me and asked me, “What’s your name?” I ignored the pain and answered, “Crossten.” He looked at me with a disgusted face. “You are named Crossten? There was only one, noble Crossten, and he isn’t to be named after!” He came closer to me, too close for comfort. “What is your real name?” I don’t understood why I never rebelled against what he said there at that moment. He did seem intimidating, but I knew it myself that I had the strength and stance to “tell him off” about that. But instead I just stood there, with a blank face. He looked at my robes again. “You look like a Crossten fanatic, that’s for sure. Look at your clothing, trying to make a fake hero of yourself.” He felt the blood stains, my blood stains of the robes. My final battle had left many marks of blood and bruises across my body, and even one, long, fatal scar across my right eye, directly from the one sword that I dodged for my life. “Even hurt yourself to get the same look,” the man continued to criticize. Irritance was growing upon me. “I say who I am, and I am Crossten.” He prepared to backhand me, and I easily put my arm up to defend it. Instead, he lowered his arm and sighed. “Come on, obviously you are hurt.” He begun to walk back from where I supposed he came, and he waved at me to follow him. At the time, I didn’t know where the hell I was, but, just considering what previously occurred before the “teleportation blast,” I just figured this was all another universe. So I followed him, despite that our first encounter wasn’t so friendly. I walked about a few yards behind him, and he looked back at me continuously. Somewhere halfway during the walk, he asked me out loud, “What are you?” I could only guess he was asking whether I was an Angel, Daemon, or just a human, so I answered human. He stayed quiet for a minute, and I decided to ask him, “What about you, then?” He stopped walking immediately, and he slowly turned to me with a depressed face. “Uh, Daemon.” He gave me an unintentional cold stare, and I just strangely nodded. In the universe I came from, Daemons are hated as a major enemy; I mean, there isn’t too much to explain why. In reality, they are just Daemons that are hated. So if he is a Daemon, and he is this comfortable around me, then it must be normal for such beings to walk “up here.” I asked him anyway. “What are you doing here, then?” I could hear him grinding his teeth together, and he stopped and turned to me again. He sighed. “Look, I don’t know who you are, but I am just gonna tell you this now, just so you don’t wet yourself about it later. I am a Daemon from, of course, Hell, but, as you should know, we are ‘fallen angels.’ I didn’t like or believe my fate. So I escaped, oddly as it may sound.” He continued walking, and I followed.
  7. I was wondering if anyone else played the amazing game "Osu!" on the computer. If so, what's your favourite beatmaps? How good are ya'? What's the hardest beatmap you can legitimately beat? What's your favourite game type? What's your accuracy? Do you use a mouse or a different device? Any other questions that I can't think to ask right now? Personally, my favourite beatmap (which is also the hardest beatmap I can play without mods) would be this: My accuracy is 86.70% on standard Osu! mode, and 89.(some decimal, I forget)% in Taiko mode. I don't like catch the beat. Taiko > Standard... My best Taiko performance would probably be beating this: I almost full combo'd it.. but no, I had to go and miss 3 on the last section. Probably the most bittersweet victory of gaming history for me. I think I'm pretty good... I mean, for as little I play, I think I'm okay at the game.
  8. With the recent announcement of Wii games being available for purchase at the Wii U eShop at yesterday's Nintendo Direct, fans have been feverishly thinking about what games they'd want to see get another release(and/or your like me wondering why they still can't get GC and N64 games on there, as well as DS games like they announced earlier). And while there's plenty of games on the system that should get another shot, seeing the Metroid Prime Trilogy coming soon made me think that it'd be the perfect opportunity for them to release games that either never got a chance here or are ridiculously expensive to get 10) Xenoblade Chronicles One of the 3 games that was part of Operation Rainfall, a movement meant to convince NoA to localize 3 certain JRPGs, and often considered one of the best RPGs of last gen(or at least best JRPG), Xenoblade Chronicles was only released in North America at Gamestops and is often hard to get without having to pay an organ for it. It'd be understandable if they didn't release it now since the New 3DS port of it is on it's way, but it'd be great to see it appear down the line for those who want to experience it on the console once Xenoblade Chronicles X rolls along 9) Last Story The second game of the Operation Rainfall trilogy and the latest console game created by the father of Final Fantasy Hironobu Sakaguchi. While it's not as ridiculously expensive a few other games on this list(about $30 for a used copy at Gamestop), it's still a relatively hard to find game, but it's a fun one 8) Pandora's Tower The 3rd game of the Operation Rainfall trio, and the least successful of the 3. I never got a chance to play it, and I'm still having trouble finding a copy, so all the more reason to put it here 7) Madworld This game's actually pretty cheap($10 new, $3 used at Gamestop), but good luck finding it. Madworld is a gloriously violent and incredibly fun game by Platinum Studios, but is unfortunately one of the Wii's many overlooked gems. With Nintendo's recent works with Platinum like Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2, seeing this on the eShop is only fitting 6) Captain Rainbow This is where the rereleases can really shine, releasing titles that never left Japan's shores Captain Rainbow has a small cult following on the internet and is one of many Japanese Wii titles that many people want to see. Judging from some of the videos and screenshots I've seen, I have no fucking clue what it's supposed to be about, which is probably what I want to see it more 5) Fatal Frame IV/Fatal Frame 2 Remake For some reason, after Nintendo received the rights to the Fatal Frame franchise, they've been held hostage in Japan. If they want to see if a market exists in the west(it probably does), it would be a good time to give the game a western release in time for Fatal Frame V(which I hope also releases in the US) 4) Disaster Day of Crisis An action-adventure game by Monolith Soft, the creators of Xenoblade, was released in just about everywhere but the US for some unknown reason. I remember being very excited for this game when I first heard about it and saw, so hearing that it wasn't going to be localized in the US was pretty soulcrushing 3) Zack&Wiki's Island Adventure Much like Madworld, it's pretty cheap, but much like that, it's also hard to find 2) Klonoa Klonoa is awesome. This game and this series deserves more love 1) Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn The sequel to the beloved Gamecube title, Path of Radiance. From what I've heard, it's the least successful titles in the series commercially. This along with the demand so high(especially after the surge of popularity the series recently got from Awakening) makes it one of the most difficult to get game in the series and on the system its on. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would prefer to get the game for $10-20 at the eShop as opposed to some of the ridiculous prices I've seen it go for I'm aware that there are tons of games I probably missed that people would undoubtedly like to see(like DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which I've seen go up for $160 for some unholy). If you want, share your opinions on what you'd like to see come back on the eShop
  9. Foods you like that everyone dislikes? Inspired by the thread foods you dislike that everyone likes. - I like horse meat, many seem to dislike that. It's accepted in my country, it's not toxic like in some countries. Although I notice a lot of people dislike it on the internet. - Whale meat, like minke whale, tastes very good but it's not that popular though. - Mushrooms, many dislike mushrooms I love mushrooms. - Merikurat, it's a fish and it doesn't have the looks but tastes awesome. I opened one up and I found a paltus inside it. That's all I can think of at the moment, so how about you? Prepare for Merikurat!
  10. youtubers who post no pony content who have hinted/claimed to be brony in their videos My list is CGP Grey (various easter eggs) and I assume chugga (hes a big mr enter fan)
  11. Is anyone who does not have a skype and is fed up with people that say you can contact me only on Skype?,I'm kinda fed up not everybody has a Skype account and some don't want a Skype account. I do not have a Skype account but when I try too participate in a roleplay or something else some of the times they say you can only contact me on Skype and Skype makes it easier for the roleplay. 12. Well, it's 3:00 here in Germany and I can't fall asleep. Too much pony on my mind. Anyways, I have a question. Are there my creepypastas that kept you all awake at night?
  13. ????????WE MADE IT GUYS, BRONIES HAVE DONE AN OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT???????? THEY NOW MADE IT A SHOW FOR MEN!!!???????????????????????? GIRLS NOW UNDERSTAND OUR POWER
  14. This was another great show that I watched almost late at night. Too bad YTV will never have shows this good anymore...
  15. Alright, fellow Bronies. Lately, I've become a bit of a fan of ambient music-problem is, I don't know much. So, I made this thread so that all of you fellow ambient fans can share some amazing music! Anything that can be considered "ambient" is acceptable. Also, for those of you who are unaware of what ambient music is, Ambient music is a musical genre that focuses largely on the timbrel characteristics of sounds, often organized or performed to evoke an "atmospheric , "visual" or "unobtrusive" quality. I'll start. http://youtu.be/fnoOvzZu460
  16. Okay, for this thread, you need to post games that you thought you wouldn't really like, but ended up actually liking them. Post a list of these games below, and although not required; explanation behind each entry. My list: The Binding of Isaac I don't tend to like top-down action games, so this game didn't really seem that appealing to me. However, my friend recommend that I played it, and I actually found it to be really good. I love how detailed the environment is, and I love how crazy your character looks as you get each new item. The soundtrack is amazing too. The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim I guess this one didn't seem that interesting from what I had saw of it. The combat looked kind of boring to me, and I didn't really see the appeal to it. But when I finally got the chance to actually play it; I was impressed by how detailed and interactive the world was. And the combat was more fun then I had previously thought. Hotline Miami Like with The Binding of Isaac, I was turned away from this game since it was a top-down action game. But, I eventually tried it, and I was pleasantly surprised. The ultra-violent combat was really nice, and I liked how you were just as vulnerable as the enemy, and as such; had to think carefully so you don't die instantly. And like with The Binding of Isaac, the soundtrack is amazing.
  17. A great moment in your video gaming career. Anything from fighting games, to shooters, to glitches and speedruns, what is your most memorable and jaw dropping moment in a video game that made you go "Oh my god what?!"
  18. Just like the title says, soory if it already exists. Right now it feels like nothing bad can happen at all here, and I am bored. Think about what is going on in the house, what is the really worst thing that can happen right now? How would you react to that and what is the best that can happen right now? the probably worst thing possible here is me falling asleep again.... -_- (soory if i placed this a bit wrong and had bad grammar)
  19. Title says it all, what is the worst injury that you have ever received? Mine is 3 years back, i was visiting a friend that i have known for 18 years but only get to see about once a year, we were riding up and down his estate (which is on a hill) on pushbikes and decided to have a race from the top of the hill to the bottom. I get about halfway down the hill and a van starts coming up the hill on the wrong side of the road, so i hop on the pavement and continue, the van mounts the curb and i panic slamming my breaks on, i fly over the vans bonnet and wake up on the pavement, thinking i'm fine i get up and yell abuse at the driver and lift up my left arm, the driver looks shocked and drives off, my friend starts screaming, i look at my arm and see my hand flopped down. I had managed to snap my arm clean in half, bone sticking out, the whole deal, i carry my hand back into the house and we get an ambulance out, the first response guy tells me there's a 70% chance they will have to amputate my arm (something to do with dirt infecting the bone marrow). 3 Years down the line, i have two large scars down my arm and metal plates attached to my bone, it hurts when i move it too much and i cant lift weights or play guitar again, and being in England means that it gets rather cold in winter, which chills the plates in my arm making it rather painful. All in all, worst experience of my life, and the only bike crash i have ever had, strangely enough.
  20. Incoming cheesy brostep. Probably won't finish this, it always happens to me, I make an intro and a drop then *blank*. Would be thrilled to partner up and knock it out if someone was interested. https://soundcloud.com/revandose/love-is-done-wip Apologies, trying to remember how to post direct soundcloud links Edit:: OK, completely clueless as to how to embed the player. I have it done in my old post which is driving me crazy, anyone feel like helping me from myself?
  21. Hi guys, I hope I'm putting this in the right spot. I have been making an abridged series, and I thought you might like to see it or something. The idea behind this series is, I wanted to make something short and simple. There are a lot of high quality pony parodies out there, but I thought to myself, "Maybe people just want a short, quick laugh, and frequent updates". Those other parodies out there are great and all, but I personally find them too long and too long between episodes. I wanted to make something short and simple, and, you wouldn't have to know anything about MLP FIM to understand. I was inspired mostly by the early Yugioh TAS episodes and Code Ment/None Piece. Most of all, I wanted a pony parody series that could be enjoyed by both bronies and haters, or even at least those people who are indifferent to MLP. I'm not sure if I have succeeded in that, but if you know any haters, feel free to try this series on them. I would really like to know what they think. Apart from that UFP is just a short silly thing I made one day, and then decided to continue on with. Even though it's not the most popular series out there, I have a lot of fun making it, and I hope you all have fun watching it too. wacarb (I'M BEING STUPID AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME!)
  22. Yup, I sure did. It was kind of a challenge honestly, what with the wings, the colors, and the cutie mark(which I still think might be a little too big), but I think it turned out pretty well! If you think the coat is too dark, I used the lightest blue I had in my set of 24 colored pencils, so I did what I could! There is a rather noticible darker spot in the middle though, but I tried to color as lightly as I could here. I should also mention I used a guide, but I do tend to practice by drawing random OCs as well. Anyway, hope y'all like it!
  23. Well the concept should be easy to wrap your mind around. All of us have seen pictures of ponies that made is shiver or give us goosebumps or even caused us to shed a tear. You know all of that fun stuff. I just want you to post them and share them with the community. Here are a few of mine that gave me ze feels. Now go nuts, I know you have them, now share them! Don't be greedy!
  24. Sooo, I decided to write a fan fiction as I currently have writers block on my main project(a full length book based on League of Legends that has been stuck at 40ish pages for months) Please excuse poor grammar and spelling, I wrote this on an iPad and what the autocorrect doesn't play havoc with, the general lag from typing ruins. This is my first fan fiction and the first price of writing I have fully completed, it's also the first time I've written in first person(I decided to read the hunger games, it is written in first person and inspired me to do so too) I would like any feedback on this work, if you liked it but can't think of anything to say a brohoof would be nice Here it is:
