  1. Speculation on What Season 9 (The Last Season?) of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic Will Be Like: Speculations based on leaked information! Spoilers ahead. Anyway, those are just my speculations on what could happen/occur come Season 9 (should it be the last season of FIM). But what do you think, do you agree with my speculations? What are yours? Let me and everyone else know. 😊 God Bless and Take Care. Speculation on What Season 9.docx
  2. In other words, could certain questions finally get answed , and certain theroies be put to rest. Well, with any kind of closuer on a franchise, the finale always seems to (at most times) open the doors to allow the writers to get a lot of stuff out of their system for themselves and for at most, the fans. But will the final season of MLP : FIM do that as well? Here I talk about what could be finally addressed, if that is the case. Now one of the first things that they (the writers) could finally address, is the whole Spike x Rarity situation. What I mean is, that if the writers choose to do so (IMO I believe they will), this will finally be addressed, and the outcome will be one that is a positive one, and yet be one that not a lot of the brony/pegasister community will agree on. And what the outcome will be, Spike and Rarity together. You may ask "How?" Well, it's quite simple, if you look at the fact, that they've been teasing this since Eps. 1, and throughout the show's run, they've had several episodes centered around Spike, that have also involved Rarity in some major/minor capacity, and with it being the final season of the show, like I mentioned at the beginning at the start, it opens the door for this to take place. And the reason being is, unless the series finale somehow ties into G5 and G5 becomes a soft Retcon/Reboot of FIM, then (IMO) this Spike x Rarity Deal will finally become a reality. 2. A Sugar Belle and Big Mac wedding will most likely happen. The reason being is the fact that this could be looked at as a 3 chapter deal, with the first happening in S7 , and So it only makes sense to tie this trifecta up with a 3rd and final chapter happening in the final season, which would culminate with a wedding between Sugar and BIg. Heck, for emotional sake, have the spirts of AJ, AppleBloom and Big Mac's parents appear to show their love and support, and thus have the kids and Sugar Belle seem as well. 3. Finally Addressing Celestria and Luna's orgins. Yes, before the show comes to a close, this has to be addressed, especially after giving them some moments to shine, first in the Premiere of S6 and most recently, not once but twice in S7, and This is something that finally needs to be addressed and I believe (IMO) that the writing staff of FIM will finally do so in the final season. Espiecally with the fact, that if you go back to the S6 Premiere, they both said, "That the birth of an Alicorn, is something Equestria has never seen", and that it was "Even beyond their understanding." Yeah, when they both said those things, that was enough of red flag, and more of a legit reasoning to wanna know about their orgins. 4. Starlight Glimmer becoming an Alicorn? Yes, indeed, this is most likely the direction they are heading, and if S9 is it for the show, definitely expect the writing staff to go this route. And, why?, you may ask. Because it seems that's what they building towards with her. (at least in my IMO), and would make sense that they writing staff make this a reality. 5. Sunset Shimmer Returns! , and the recent "Mirror Magic" EQG special, she has never returned to Equestria on the "Friendship is Magic" side of things. So with the final season, I truly believe and hope, (like many do) that this will be the season that it finally happens. And all honesty, I feel the writing staff knows that as well and will make it happen. 6. I believe that a G1 character has to be brought in, with a G4/FIM update, and that character should Majesty. And if you want a reason why, well if you watch MLP-Silver Quill's and ILOVEKPALOT's Video they did on Villains in MLP, than you pretty much get your answer there, as to why she should be brought in. Basically make her a character, that believes she's doing the right thing, but in fact is not. Or as Silver Quill put it, make her a rogue element that believes that all villainy, even those that have been redeemed, should be disposed of. Than the writers can build towards something between her and Twilight, and at same time, they could acknowledge a history between Celestria, Luna and Majesty as well, and that could really build the tension between her and Twilight. But that's what I (IMO) feel the writers will/would do in the final season, should it be more freelanced. What are your thoughts? God Bless!
  3. Okay, so I wanted to learn more about Celestia, Luna, and the history, so I started looking stuff up online. Still never found a whole lot, other than the Journal Of The Two Sisters official book (totally gonna get that). Plz reply with any theories or details you have... I need to know
  4. So, does anyone have any interesting theories relating specifically to the Mane Six they're dying to share? Just general thoughts, across the seasons and generations alike. I figure Twi, Rarity and Rainbow are all children of minor noble houses, myself. They and the rest of the girls shot up through the ranks, though, due to their service to the crown. Now, they all technically hold large swaths of previously-unclaimed land Celestia had taken from noble houses that proved too incompetent to keep it. I might write a story on this idea later... Got a lot more to work through first, though. Anyways, how do you think their backgrounds play out? Everyone likes to explore Applejack's history (myself included) but we tend to neglect the other five as a fandom, from what I've seen. It'll be interesting to see what people have come up with.
  5. So I finished the Inheritance Cycle (the Eragon series) the other day and my favorite character is Angela the Herbalist, who I'm absoutely certain is a Timelady (like from Doctor Who). I didn't suspect anything until I read to the part that it last says. All of the evidence is shown here (for some reason with a black background): There is also significant evidence to suggest that Angela is meant as an homage to the long-running science fiction series Doctor Who. After Brisingr, Christopher Paolini admits to including at least one Doctor Who reference in-story (specifically, the line about the 'Lonely God adrift upon the Sea of Time') and several more appear in connection to Angela. The main character of Doctor Who is the Doctor, a man whose real name is unknown and who belongs to a quasi-immortal race known as the Time Lords. Solembum mentions to Eragon that he has seen many strange things with Angela, including rooms that are "bigger on the inside" than the outside would suggest, a quality ascribed verbatim to the Doctor's TARDIS or space-time ship. Angela is also shown to have control over at least her own passage through time, a technique she uses against soldiers in Dras-Leona. Like the Doctor, she is exceedingly eccentric and effervescent and often makes seemingly random statements in a completely matter-of-fact way. She also has a youthful appearance despite an age on par with or exceeding that of the average elf, a quality shared with the Time Lords. She speaks nearly every language in Alagaesia, the Doctor himself being able to speak almost every language in the universe, is another quality they both share. In the battle to escape the priests of Helgrind, she says to the chief priest that he wouldn't have dared face her if he had known who she was. She leans in and whispers something (presumably her real name) in his ear. He is horrified. In Doctor Who, the fact that the Doctor's name is a secret is a recurring theme and it's implied that his name reveals him to be someone horrible. Finally, at the end of Inheritence, Angela is knitting a hat with the beginnings of a word on it, the letters "Raxacori". Raxacoricofallapatorius is the name of a planet in Doctor Who.
  6. According to the show's canon, the human and equestrian world are bridged only by a secret mirror that seldom opens. And as we all know, the way people talk constantly evolves based on their surroundings, their neccesities, and how far apart they are. Do you think there is a logical reason why ponies would speak English instead of their own language?
  7. I have come to ask a few questions about the film, and would like to hear your opinions. 1. First off, the My Little Pony Movie has been continuously been advertised as "feature-length". But what does this mean? The Equestria Girls had similar advertising, but they're all only 70 mins. So what will this mean for the film? My best guess is it probably won't be 70 mins. But the actual running time itself. Will it be under the "1hr 30min" mark? Or could it possibly go past 100 mins? 2. Second, I was wondering if the film could possibly get a 3D release. It's an odd question, seeing as the show and most likely the movie are 2D Flash animation, though you never know. 3. Next, what rating do you think it'll have? It probably will have a G Rating, though you never know if it ever wants to take a drastic tone from the series and be darker, it could always get a PG. It is possible. 4. And finally, I want to know your opinion on the reception of the film. Will it be a Box Office Success? Will the Critics like it? What Tomatometer score will it have? What about the Brony Community? That's all my questions. Please respond and give me your opinions!
  8. So, I couldn't find a topic like this, so I made it. I put the spoiler prefix on it because of possible theories with Flurry Heart. Or something. What do you hope season 6 will be like? Do you have any theories? Any ideas for the finale?
  9. After seeing how everypony had an alternate human form, I started thinking about why we haven't seen Sunset's alternate human. After all, she was a pony too, so shouldn't her alternate exist? If alternate Sunset does exist, could she make an appearance in Equestria Girls 4? Please leave your thoughts on this down below. I'd love to hear your theories and suggestions!
  10. Alright, so this is my first major post. I don't think this has been brought up as a topic before (I searched for it and found no results), so I figured this was as good as any a reason to create my first forum discussion. Plus, it's pretty long, so I thought it probably deserved it's own topic (as opposed to a wall-of-text reply). ________________________________________________________________ A while back, one of my brony friends and I came up with this theory (which I realized later some other people had thought of as well). We were contemplating Celestia's backstory, trying to figure out if the writers had snuck anything into the show relating to her, or coming up with our own ideas about where she came from. After we started discussing Hearth's Warming Eve (the only episode that seems to provide real backstory on the founding of Equestria), we started questioning why Celestia wasn't even mentioned in the episode. You'd think that an episode about the founding of Equestria would have a reference to Celestia, since she is the ruler of the land? Not only that, but we know she's been alive for hundreds if not thousands of years, so shouldn't she have been alive even in those times? Then my friend came up with a theory. What if Celestia is, in fact, Clover the Clever? Now, before you dismiss the idea, think of the awesome mythological similarities this would have, more specifically related to the legends of Camelot. We already know that there are some similarities between MLP and the Arthurian legends, specifically the inclusion of the city of Canterlot (a pun off of "Camelot"), and that Star Swirl the Bearded is in fact Equestria's Merlin (confirmed at the writers panel). Now, I am by no means an expert in the stories of King Arthur and Merlin, but what little I do know is that Merlin was King Arthur's personal advisor and mentor. And since the Canterlot Castle is ruled by Celestia, and also since we already know she's presumably a thousand years old, it seems very possible that Clover the Clever is in fact Celestia before her ascension to Alicornhood. On top of that, there seems to be a certain significance to having Twilight play Clover in the story. I, like i'm sure many others have, once watched the Disney interpretation of King Arthur, called The Sword in the Stone. In this movie, Arthur is portrayed as a servant (similar to how Clover is portrayed to the ruler of the time, Princess Platinum), and Merlin as his mentor. Merlin trains and teaches him for a while before he proves himself by removing the legendary Excalibur from the stone, and is crowned king. How is this similar to Clover the Clever? Well, Clover was a servant to the Princess before Equestria's founding. When she, along with the three other members of the pony races met up with eachother, she was successful in banishing the Windigoes using the magic of friendship. Not only that, but she also displayed a powerful ability in magic, very similar to Twilight's. The significance of having Twilight play Clover's part, is because we know that Twilight ascended to become an Alicorn. We also know that Clover was a very powerful wielder of magic, similar to Twilight, and that she was monumental to the founding of Equestria. Who would be better to be crowned the ruler of the new-found Equestria, than Clover the Clever? And if for some strange reason Clover the Clever was not in fact Celestia, then how come this is the first we've ever heard of her, and she's never mentioned in the show again? One last thing to note, based on the way Celestia and Luna have spoken about Star Swirl, it almost seems like they knew him personally. But we know that he was in fact mentioned in Hearth's Warming Eve and they weren't. So the question is this, is there some giant lapse of continuity, or is it in fact true that Clover the Clever is actually Celestia? (and one more quick thing, it is worth noting that the sun and moon are specifically mentioned to be controlled by a group of unicorns, and NOT Celestia and Luna in this time. So that would mean that they hadn't always controlled the rotation of the sun and moon) What are your thoughts? Does it seem likely they would go this far in the mythology of the show? Will Season 4 delve into this at all? Are my friend and I simply conspiracy nuts? Please, discuss.
  11. this thread is for people to post what they hope will happen and what they think will happen in season 6. my hopes: mane six face biggest threat yet. we see star swirl the bearded twilight becomes even more powerful starlight doesn't steal twilights thunder tree of disharmony!!! theories: I think starswirl is holding back some great evil from breaking into equestria. and next season it will break through. please post all thoughts!
  12. Disclaimer 1: I did not come up with the idea that MLP is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth nor that it is in fact in the same Universe as Adventure Time, howver, this is merely my thoughts on how the timeline would fit. Disclaimer 2: I have only watched 13 episodes of Adventure Time Disclaimer 3: I may ramble at times, but I try to keep everything linked together. 2016-3000s: Humanity continues with it's advancement in technology and the number of scientists and inventors grows more frequent. This leads to Space and even portal travel and contact with extraterrestrial races. Relationships between humans and extraterrestrials is surprisingly good as extraterrestrials agree to help humans with their development of technology and healthcare in exchange for a raid of Earth's natural resources. 5000: The adventures of Captain Picard and his Star Trek crew takes place. The crew end up coming into contact with an omnipotent being known as Q who instantly takes a fascination with Captain Picard and Humans. 10000-50000: Advancement in science and technology leads to huge advancement in animal breeding, giving some animals basic human intelligence. This would normally be for human service with humans taking particular interest in equines. Rare horses, usually owned by royalty, would be bred to survive a few thousand years. Humans also discover how to merge previously unrelated animals through breeding (e.g. lions and eagles). Lizards would often be breeded into dragons for military purposes. Domesticated animals would occasionally be subject to this breeding but were normally left alone, and smaller mammals, fish and amphibians were completely ignored. As breeding became more advanced, equines in particular would be bred to contain large amounts of energy, which would often manifest itself as magic of varying quantity. This energy would also produce symbols on the rear of equines which would make it easier for humans to understand what the equine should be trained to do. These symbols would later be dubbed cutie marks by ponies who evolved into the ponies we see on MLP. 50000: The peace between humans and extraterrestrials breaks which leads to the mushroom war. Desperate to find a means of defence scientists end up planting the tree of harmony which bears the elements of harmony. These elements would have the ability to do powerful things to whatever is seen as a threat by the bearer, however, the elements will only respond to humans who possess the virtues of honesty, kindness, laughter, generousity, loyalty and gracious power to prevent them being stolen and used by enemies. The elements failed to respond to humans however, as no human truly possessed such virtues. The majority of humans and larger equines die during battle in the mushroom war and Earth is left behind with what is portrayed in Adventure Time. The various strange creatures in this series are orphaned extraterrestrial races. Finn is one of the last surviving humans and whilst dogs were not known to possess such levels of magic, Jake proves a prodigy with the ability. 60000: Humans have now been long since extinct and all extraterrestrial races see no need to disrupt Earth anymore and have long returned to their own worlds. Ponies have now taken over as Earth's dominant species. 85000: Disaster strikes as the Earth ceases to spin, which leads to evaporation of nearly all weather and seasons (with isolated exceptions such as the Everfree Forest). By this time some ponies have evolved into unicorns whilst pegasi were bred by humans. Out of desperation the unicorns resort to continuing the Earth's rotation with their magic, this proves extremely difficult however and requires groups of unicorns. Pegasi respond by founding Cloudsdale and producing their own weather. 97000: Meanwhile, Q is banished from his homeworld for causing disruption amongst his own kind. Fondly remembering his time playing with Captain Picard, he comes across the idea of visiting Earth and seeing what humans are up to. Upon arriving on Earth however, he finds that it is not what he originally had in mind. He proceeds to spend a few hundred years exploring the planet relatively unseen. As no Earth species can comprehend his true form, he takes the form of various creatures that he had discovered. When he finally comes into contact with ponies they give him the name Discord due to his appearence and his overly playful antics. He eventually becomes settled enough to take over. 98000-99000: The historical events shown on the show play out around this time, starting with the founding of Equestria and ending with Luna's banishment. Ponies are so concerned with valuing friendship because their ancestors witnessed the mushroom war and and the fall of humanity due to a lack of friendship within humans. The energy containted within ponies lives on for awile as Whindigo's which suffer distress when conflict is present. As ponies do not have hands however history is poorly recorded and ponies have overtime taken for granted that they raise the sun and moon and control weather. 100000: Present day MLP I understand this timeline will have a number of problems and plot holes but it was mainly written for fun. Please leave suggestions on how you would improve the timeline. If you want to criticize please at least keep mind I've put alot of time and effort into writing this post.
  13. More or less a rant that's been kicking at the back of my head, but one I feel I must vent for fear of my head otherwise exploding. I have to ask though . . . WHO IS this guy?! No not some kind of secret identity stuff, I know his name was Taiyang Xiao Long, he's a teacher at Signal, was a member of team STRQ all that jazz. What I mean, that's not one but two amazonian supermodels that have fallen for the guy! And both were his teammates! It just seems so perplexing that such a complicated love life would get NO detail as to how any of them actually worked it out or what they both saw in him that made him so irresistible, given that both Ruby and Yang appear pretty well adjusted and loving of their parents. The only exception being Yang feeling some sense of abandonment by her birth mother but clearly not resenting her adoptive one either. Thoughts? I really just wanted to get that off my chest.
  14. So I made this video about if and when Spike will become an adult. It's also my first video with an OC! I'd really love some feedback!
  15. Lately I have been wondering about the idea of an MLP Multiverse and what other potential alternate universes there are in MLP. I actually have a list of alternate universes I thought of and even gave some of them nicknames but I don't have nicknames for all of them. So could you help me by giving me you input on these alternate universe ideas and some potential nicknames for the unfinished universes? I would really appreciate it. Also just like how Marvel and DC call their multiple universes 'Earth Something' I will be calling these alternate universes 'Equestria Something' Universes we know of: Equestria Prime - The primary universe that the MLP: FiM show and comics take place in. Equestria Zero - The alternate human universe that Equestria Girls takes place in. Equestria Negative - The alternate evil universe in which the MLP: FiM Comics 'Reflections' arc takes place in Equestria Kaos - The alternate universe where Discord resides in 'Make new friends but keep Discord'. Alternate Universes I thought of and have nicknames for: Equestria 63 - Alternate universe in which every character is gender swapped. Equestria Witchcraft - Alternate universe in which 'Friendships is Witchcraft' takes place in. Equestria Takeover - Alternate universe where the Evil Mane 6 have overthrown Celestia, Luna, & Cadence and have given absolute power to Twilight. Equestria Moonlight - Alternate universe where Twilight Sparkle became the student of Princess Luna instead of Celestia. Equestira Darkness - Alternate universe where Alicorn Twilight Sparkle allows dark magic to corrupt her and she becomes Sombra's Queen. Equestria Undead - Alternate universe where all the ponies are flesh eating zombies. (Inspired by Marvel Zombies) Equestria Drake - Alternate universe where the Mane 6 are dragons. Equestria Talon - Alternate universe where the Mane 6 are griffons. Alternate Universes I thought of but don't have nicknames for: All of them are Equestria (insert nickname here) Alternate universe in where the Mane 6 have their species swapped (U-P) (P-E) (E-U) Alternate universe where the Mane 6 have known each other their whole lives rather than meeting as adults. Alternate universe where Celestia became Nightmare Sun instead of Luna becoming Nightmare Moon. Alternate universe where all of the Mane 6 are Alicorn Princesses. Alternate universe where the Mane 6 are Vampire Bat Ponies. Alternate universe where Twilight Sparkle is Princess Luna's daughter, and inherits the Nightmare gene to become Nightmare Moon instead of Luna and Sunset Shimmer became the leader of the Mane 6. Alternate universe where all the ponies are cybernetic androids. So if you have any other ideas for alternate universes in MLP and or have nickname ideas for the list above feel free to respond. Like I said before I would suggestions for nicknames for my unlabeled alternate universe ideas. Just post with the description. Also I would appreciate it if you would give me feedback about the alternate universes I listed. Thank you.
  16. WELCOME TO CELESTIA'S SCHOOL OF MAGIC! this is where you can post theories, debate headcanons, discuss science and magic in the mlp universe, inquire on the origins of equestria, argue the divine nature of alicorns, predict the future, seek the knowledge of the universe ect ect ect. if you don't know the difference then let me explain, theories are ideas though not proven have a basis in the show and a possibility of becoming canon, headcanons are ideas that though they have a basis in the show they have a low chance of becoming canon and have very little to no evidence supporting them. ill start this thread off with some of my own theories and headcanons which you are welcome to debate if you wish. THEORIES 1. the alternate timelines in cutie remark are now alternate universes thanks to starlight and twilight messing with the time stream. the tree of harmony and the map are connected to each of the created universes. when you go back in time to fix some thing and succeed then there never would have been anything to fix in the first place, the multiverse then creates a alternate universe where you did not succeed in your quest. 2. twilight has unlimited magical potential evidenced by her cutie mark being the very symbol of magic displayed upon the element of magic, she will eventually be the most powerful pony in equestria. 3. changelings are a dark offshoot of the alicorn race. there deformity probably came from turning to dark magic and symbiosis is how they keep there immortality. 4. unicorns use math in magic spells, as evidenced by all the different equations twilight is constantly drawing on her chalk board. magic is inextricably entwined with telekinesis and quantum physics, except for emotional magic. 5. starlights cutie mark is nullification magic, as evidenced by her ability to steal cutie marks and dampen twilights magical ability to put them on even ground in the cutie remark HEADCANONS 1. the tree of harmony is a mystic lock keeping some ancient evil from invading the world. the only way the lock will open is if the balance of harmony is shifted and there is more evil than good, because the tree of harmony is now connected to more evil universes than good as of the cutie remark. the tree will open soon and whatever is lurking beneath will burst out. 2. tartarus was created by the consciousness of the great evil that is locked up by the tree of harmony. I hope to see the finest minds in equestria enter CELESTIA'S SCHOOL OF MAGIC. I hope we can work together to make great breakthroughs in all things mlp. debates are encouraged.
  17. If EQG hasn't already made it obvious with their world building(however small it may be) it's that a spin-off is at least in the works and with how well EQG is being received by fans and newcomers alike it seems like now more than ever that we could have EQG as more than just a movie spin off but a complete TV show spin off cause think of it this way. When MLP FiM goes on Hiatus you want more MLP content right? And yes I know the natural argument: "EQG sucks cause humans aren't ponies blah blah blah rada rada" But if you watch EQG...You'll see its literally just like the pony world just with humans instead of pony's which isn't a bad thing and gives us something new to experience. That being said how would an EQG spin off series work? Well it'd work the same way MLP does A slice of life/action & Adventure story about 7 high school girls who have to deal with magic running a muck in their world as well as just the everyday life they lead as teenagers with magic being a side conflict but a big one though because as stated by Fluttershy in Friendship Games and I quote "Not everything has to be magical to be important" As seen in all 3 movies, situations started out as normal high school events that slowly got crossed with a magical element Fall formal (Stop Sunset Shimmer and get back Twilight's crown) Rainbow Rocks (Stop the Dazzlings and free the school) Friendship Games (Defeat Crystal Prep and Midnight Sparkle) Now that being said the best way for a spin off to truly work is find a way to make magic a threat the girls can and will face whenever it shows up and thats where I think Twilight's pendant comes in as well as the countless other magic situations that have happened over the course of the 3 movies and here is what I mean Twilight's pendant can detect, track and pull in magical energy right? What if there is a lot more magical energy in the world than we think? Cause remember in the first EQG when they made Sunset taste the rainbow and the magic of friendship? Remember when happened right after they blasted her? a massive beam of energy shot into the sky and the same is true in Rainbow Rocks when they beat the Sirens. Point I am making here is...Where did all that energy/magic go? Did it just vanish? I don't think so because they'd acknowledged that some of her crowns magic stayed behind and remember when Midnight Sparkle was blasting holes in dimensions? Whose to say that didn't have any lasting effects even if Sunset patched them up. However thats just my personal head-canon for how the movies could use scenes from its past to set things up but lets take a different apporch to this. The human world is a "direct mirror" of Equestria right? And Starswirl the breaded has already banished one group of villains there, whose to say he didn't do it to others? Hell whose to say Celestia and Luna didn't do this? So they could have possibly sent many villains there for the humans the deal with. Another thing could be that old villains from the series could go to the human world in an attempt to rule it seeing as how they'd think there are no elements of harmony there to stop them. Though my best theory on this would be that in the 4th movie something happens that releases a BUNCH of rouge magic into the human world probably at the fault of Human world Sunset Shimmer whom after helping defeat the threat of the movie dedicates herself to redeeming her mistake and joins the human 6 as a replacement for Sunset Shimmer who goes back to the pony world. Really due to the lack of info its hard to craft theories on this but I tried. what do you all think? Is a spin off show possible? How do you think it could work? Are there any villains you'd like to see come to the human world or what new villains would you maybe like to see? Post your comments below and as always TASTE THE RAINBOW!
  18. Hey all again here is this weeks question, it has been show on a few occasions on the show that Earth ponies posses some kind of magic. Otherwise what did Tarek steal? So what magic do they posses (if any) and what form is it used for and what form does it take shape? 19. A trailer for the Season 5 finale was released a few days ago, and I have quite a few things to say about it. This video contains my thoughts and speculation regarding what might transpire in the upcoming episode. Please let me know your thoughts, and whether you agree or disagree with any of the points suggested. ~ Judgement Day
  20. As we all know, Twilight Sparkle becoming a princess in the Season 3 finale was a huge game-changer. I love the idea of Twilight solving Starswirl's spell and saving her friends in order to become a princess, but if this is the reason that she became a princess, I feel that Twilight should've went a step further in her discovery. She "solved" the spell by pairing up her friends with their corresponding elements of harmony, but to me, a solution like that to a spell like this is not satisfying enough. The use of the elements of harmony in the finale left me with some fairly legitimate questions. "What would happen if somepony that wasn't in the Mane 6 got their cutie mark switched like in this episode? How would they regain their memories and change their cutie mark back if they did not have a corresponding element of harmony?" These are some thoughts that I've had for a while now, and although this is a bit late for discussion, I'd still really love to hear everypony's thoughts on this topic. Please let me know any and all of your theories and/or solutions that will justify Twilight earning her royal position. Your participation in this discussion is greatly appreciated.
  21. After watching Friendship Games I felt pretty satisfied with the conclusion of Sunset Shimmers character arc. But now were getting a fourth movie in production and it made me wonder who the main focus will be now. Do you think Sunset will still be the main character and continue developing her? Or will they start a new character arc for human Twilght? Or maybe both? Any speculation is welcome.
  22. I had some theories of my own but never shared them this is a topic where can show your theories and comment on others maybe even help them find evidence one theirs or explain your problem with theirs it just some simple fun
  23. WHATS UP FANS?! ARE YOU ALL READY FOR WEIRDMAGEDDON? IM KINDA NOT. Ive been sort of crying to myself these past couple of days wondering if my baby cornchip has the slightest chance of being okay - that and the human characters i actually like will be safe from his reign of terror. Dont get me wrong, I'm aware that Bill's supposed to be the bad guy, but I'm a sucker for villains regardless. MY THEORY - Bill and Dipper/Ford and Bill's relationship reminds me of Batman/Bruce Wayne and The Joker's relationship throughout like, almost the entire series of Gravity Falls. They just love to mess with each other. Bill loves pissing people off, so does The Joker, and he loves getting under his enemies skin. He'll do anything to make a person's skin crawl, he'll do anything to make them crack - like, henceforth THE JOKER & BATMAN. But of course, Bruce/Batman is a big meathead adult and he never cracks. But finally, in this trailer seemingly is pushed over the edge and tries to PUNCH A DREAM DEMON IN THE FACE. (What the actuall hell, Dip-Dop? What makes you think that's a good idea?!) But in all honesty, lets trackback - Bill is responsible for invading not only Dippers mind, but both of his great-uncles, pretty much tearing his family apart, runing McGuket's life, (did I mention he possesed Dipper himself. Oh yeah. Bipper. Been there, done that.) and now, he's poessing his sister - MABEL. In the trailer we can clearly see that Bill is going to use Mabel for SOMETHING sinster and Dipper is going to be super pissed and do everything he can to stop Bill from acheving his ulitmate goal - because of - Mabel. Their bond is stronger than anything, it cant break not even when the world is ending. That's what I think Ford and Stan have to realize, possibly a fight breaks out between those two (i swear if it doesnt then these two will never have made up at this point. Seriously the last time they actually had a conversation that lasted more than five seconds with each other was during a Tale of Two Stans, and that's sad. They NEED TO HUG IT OUT)(before one of them dies) and then they realize they're being childish and they need to help the actual children in dange. Or SOMETHING. ANOTHER THEORY - Aside from everything I just said, not that I dont think it's going to happen, I think that Bill possibly has an elder sibling, twin, or some sort of family issues going on right now - as he said in Sock Opera to Mable "who go all out of their way just for a dumb sibling?" or something similar. Instating that, maybe he had trust issues with a sibling - not just turning him into the way he was (quite possibly he's always been an insane dream demon that he and his sibling where causing chaos for trillions of years that has never changed) but making him even more resentful than he was from day one. He possibly wants all this to come into place so he can call out his sibling and fight him tot he finish? (Sauske VS Itachi, much?) Maybe his sibling is sort of netural. Or maybe, his sibling acts like a total jerk like how Freiza's brother Cooler does (not that they're not both jerks already, but they dont really get along as my knowledge lead me to believe while watching the movies. They were both powerful, but they kinda hated each other. Cooler thought his brother was spoiled, and rightfully so. But they're both kind of spoiled.) So maybe that's it. I'm not saying that's what Alex is going to do, heck, if any sort of larger-power figure is introduced that Bill is actually intimidated by, it could end up in a double-crossing sistuation. Bill could side with/trick (or try to) the new guy, the new guy then double crosses Bill and maybe - almost - or actually kills him. Wether or not he's his sibling or family, we could just refer to the 'big bad new guy' or girl. Who knows. Lets not sterotype villianous roles here, people. It could even work out to be a triple-cross. Bill tricks the pines/main cast, convinces the new guy he's smart (cause that's how powerful he is) eventually the new guy lets Bill help him, and then its like, the new guy back-stabbs (if not literally) Bill or something. At the very end Bill comes back showing he's not afraid anymore or just at all, and helps the Pines Family defeat the bad guy... But... what about Bill now? Would he be good, bad, neuteral? Who knows. My head hurts now XD
