Well, me being the gen-3 baby I am, I would love to start out with a Growlithe or Poochyena. Other choices would be..

Pidgey, Nidoran (female), Eevee, Dratini, Mareep, Shuppet, Girafarig, Zigzagoon, Taillow, Seedot, Skitty, Aron, Electrike, Trapinch, Shinx, Finneon, Blitzle, Deerling, Fletchling, Tyrant or Amaura, and Type:Null

As much as I'd like to say Axew, I've got to go with Torchic. And I mean I'd still love Charmander or Growlithe or Bagon, but having a cute little fire chick that turns into the meanest bird around would be awesome
