Long story short, asshole former friend who listened to SOAD not only made fun of me for listening to metal by calling me an emo/a wrist slitter, but has spread every secret I ever held dear to me in middle school. I hated him. Along with that, a song called Lonely Day was something I used to listen to, but then he kept on implying the emo thing so I can't listen to them without having worrysome/depressing thoughts. Its too grouped; you should try to shuffle up some of the songs, so that when a person goes to listen they get to hear more diversity among artists and gives people a chance to explore different types of metal. Note: everything explained above does not apply to concept albums, as they are intended to be heard from beginning to end. And now I feel like an elitist... fuck. Avenged Sevenfold is about the limit of some people. Speaking of, here's one of my favorite songs from my favorite album of A7X: This album has the best guitar of all of their stuff. Though I haven't heard anything newer than City of Evil. Yes, but much better than Justin Bieber, she has no talent! or Rebecca Black. Oh come now, that's uncalled for. Then let me recap. Their self titled was a bit mainstream-ish/hard rock-ish, while Nightmare was a combo between their self-titled and City of Evil. I personally don't care for either, but Nightmare had Mike Portnoy on it so... I'm a bit biased.
