lorddeminos 1 November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 (edited) Quite some time! http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iLmF_2q7KA&feature=player_detailpage I have to say my tastes has evolved quite fast, since the last time I've visited this thread. I like death metal; tech death , melodic death and neoclassical tech(fleshed apocalypse). I can listen to some black metal bands, such as mayhem. I dislike death core as it gets quite repetitive. MVC NVMXD JVRXD 2,406 November 8, 2012 Share November 8, 2012 I dislike death core as it gets quite repetitive.Varies from band. Check out this one band, The Contortionist. Very progressive, and they keep their music interesting. It isn't stereotypical "breakdown, pig squeal" deathcore. I also would recommend Born of Osiris and THE FIRST TWO After the Burial albums. In Dreams was kind of disappointing.
Champion RD92 8,644 November 8, 2012 Share November 8, 2012 So I listened to a little bit more of Dream Theater today. This song is so awesome!!! I'm definitely gonna buy this album soon if the rest of the songs are this good.
Mercury Crescendo 69 November 8, 2012 Share November 8, 2012 If you haven't heard of Between the Buried and Me, you're missing out! You should listen to them this moment. I suggest the album "Colors" and their newest album: "The Parallax: Future Sequence". You can find both of these on youtube. (:
Devious Detonation 442 November 8, 2012 Share November 8, 2012 Hey... It's me again... Excelent. I took sometime to find this. Somehow I enjoy it , and it seems like metal to me. I think there's no problem in putting it here. c:
NeverNeverland 1,939 November 9, 2012 Share November 9, 2012 Sweet record in my opinion. World Circus is one of my favourite debuts, but everything about Think This is just better. Specially this song...
Mercury Crescendo 69 November 9, 2012 Share November 9, 2012 These guys are too good not to share. I accidentally stumbled upon them 6 years ago when searching for the movie "Black Sheep", and instead, I found their famous song Black Sheep. They are probably my favorite power metal band with such melodic lines and chilling, wintry harpsichord that accompanies the guitar through every journey of a song. Please check these guys out! My suggestion is to listen to my favorites: Black Sheep, 8th Commandment, Still Loving You (Scorpions Cover), San Sebastian, and Full Moon. Now, go! Not available in your country." -_- Searched it up on youtube. The keyboard harmonies (that's what its called, correct?) Are probably my favourite of the song. The vocals I'm not MAJORLY big on, but taking into account of its genre, it's good.

Crispy 5,562 November 9, 2012 Author Share November 9, 2012 A good evening to you as well Drunken Master. How'd the MW gig go? I didn't go, actually. Work got in the way. I listened to MW all night, but it just wasn't the same. How's school and such, mah boi? Piece is what all true warriors strive for.

Damn it, I went to the MW concert (only to see Vektor, but that's beside the point), and I was hoping you'd had gone too! But alas, paycheck > music in certain cases... How's school and such, mah boi? Piece is what all true warriors strive for. Decent enough. My classes are going well enough (its STILL hard getting into the habit of studying for long periods of time...), I obtained SOMEWHAT of a social life, and I started purchasing comic books in my spare time, so I'm happy. What about you? --

Get anything worthy of being KVLT?I found one band that's so kvlt. The member was going insane, and before he basically checked into a mental hospital, he recorded a black metal album. Sadly, I have no links. BUT BOY DO I LIKE THIS ONE BAND, AN AUTUMN FOR CRIPPLED CHILDREN.Oh, and you'd like Deathspell Omega. AAFCC here.
~Asuka <3~ 867 November 10, 2012 Share November 10, 2012 The title track is my favorite song on this amazing album. I could never really get into World Circus, but Think This is a new level of awesome.

REALLY good music, but like most black metal I want to strangle the vocalist. STOP SHRIEKING. PLZ. Other than that, pretty good if I do say so myself. The title track is my favorite song on this amazing album. I could never really get into World Circus, but Think This is a new level of awesome. Atta boy. Toxik is pretty sweet for tech thrash. I know you don't like World Circus, but do you mind giving the title track a shot? Don't focus on the quality, focus on the riffs and the solos. It's fantastic. I can see why you liked Think This better (a lot of people do), since they got a vocalist change and another guitarist...ah well. Oh, and I see you added me on last.fm. Don't judge me for my hip-hop ;_; I'm black. I don't judge people who listen to hip-hop. It's rather impressive - like a black man in metal. Here's some more good black metal for you guys, ESPECIALLY NNL. Very thrash influenced. In the first track, I like the riffs and the production, and the vocalist doesn't piss me off... I will look more into them later. Do me a favour and take a look at Aura Noir for me, will ya Djenty boy?
~Asuka <3~ 867 November 10, 2012 Share November 10, 2012 Some more technical thrash metal for all of you. Pretty excellent band if you ask me. I've seen comparisons of these guys to Voivod, which I don't understand at all.
NeverNeverland 1,939 November 10, 2012 Share November 10, 2012 Vektor - Cosmic Cortex Some more technical thrash metal for all of you. Pretty excellent band if you ask me. I've seen comparisons of these guys to Voivod, which I don't understand at all. -Sci-Fi related lyrics -Logo similarities That's the only two reasons. Musically, they're like a bit of every tech thrash band you can come up with. Except they're completely different. Hey, did you know I saw them live last week? Got my ticket signed by the frontman too!
