I don't know what the hell this "loliporn" thing is, but if it gets you banned then I don't want to know...

Well it's sorta like this anime thing, ehhh... don't worry about it ;)

Great song BTW

Wow, I didn't think you'd like Jesu. You don't seem like the kind of guy who would taking a liking towards electronic music. (No offense.)

And I'm listening to this ATM.

Sorry, I just had to post that. happy.png

I like electronic music. I usually listen to it whenever I need a break from rock/metal. I do hate how it gets a bad rap, especially when people say...

L3KTR0N1C MUZIK IZ NAHT REEL MUZIK! or... L3KTR0N1C MUZIK IZ SU EZ. ALL U D0 IZ PUSH BUT0NS!

Back to the topic of metal.

This band has my attention when it comes to the anti-oil industry/military industrial theme. They sport a heavy sound, for a heavy topic, and tear holes in the illusory fabric of big box market.

So there's these guys.

Some death for the fans of Suffocation and Nile.

On another kick for these guys.

They can make some of the most aggressive, PO'd music out there.

Here's some totally gnarly death metal, this band's vocalist is the same guy from At the Gates.

What is there for me even say about this?

I know one thing, though... I really need to learn those dance moves. Those are some sweet moves.

I've listened to them before, Metal mixed with J-Pop is quite the interesting combination

Japan, I...

There are two bands that come to mind when Japan is mentioned. First is Gargoyle which I discovered recently.

While the vocals aren't the most compatible thing on the song, the music itself is great; especially the solo. The other is Fastkill.

Brutal thrash in the vein of Demolition Hammer. So much so that the middle riff is taken from Aborticide by DH. Still a good band.

I'm not sure how to feel about them. They sound awesome, but they're completely manufactured.

Argh.

I'm not really into Thrash Metal, unfortunately. But there's a few other Japanese Metal bands I like.

I also like Moi Dix Mois (Who have a vague Death Rock quality to them, which I kinda dig) and Chthonic

So I recently strung up my guitar and my bass with some sweet steel strings, and I have some ideas for a solo project in the works. I'll keep you all updated as more information comes through the pipe.

On a more relevant note, I haven't listened to this band in quite a while.

This is the only Corrupted release I've heard, and it's pretty good. Not anything special, but I hear their other stuff is something else.

Japanese metal? Asia's good for one thing in metal, and that is fucking A-class grindcore.

While not really metal, I saw Dance Gavin Dance last Monday over in Huntington NYC.

They sound almost straight off the record, and their dual vocalists don't falter one bit live. Hell, their new guy even sings their old stuff almost perfectly.

I envy you so much, you had the chance to see Dance Gavin Dance, I know they're an awesome band live, I wouldn't miss them for the world if they came by my area.

Benefits of living near NYC. Almost every band/tour ever goes there. It's kind of an important locale, ya dig.

Eastern US 1, Canada 0.

This band is quickly rising up the charts as best personal new-find in a while
