Moog the Kvlt 1,455 Share November 7, 2013 Because you seem to keep on crossing that line that shouldn't be crossed, then continued going for miles. If you think that's crossing the line that shouldn't be crossed then you should see some of his older posts, dude was aggressive as fuck back in the day. NBBMN day 6 saw me give another listen to a newer album: Sannhet's Known Flood. Mostly instrumental, and wholly atmospheric. Pretty quick listen too. Give it a go. Nah, I think I'll pass, but maybe once I've listened to some other stuff I'll go back to that one.
NeverNeverland 1,939 Share November 7, 2013 REALM. Didn't listen much to Endless War. Not as technical as Suiciety, but a great release. If you think that's crossing the line that shouldn't be crossed then you should see some of his older posts, dude was aggressive as fuck back in the day. Would you believe me if I said I know what you mean? Because I saw some of those posts before I left last year.
Champion RD92 8,625 Share November 7, 2013 I was playing the game Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX and I found a pretty good Deftones song on the soundtrack. Also, this song randomly just really grew on me recently.

I can believe you, I'm not really surprised that you saw some of that stuff in the first place I was playing the game Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX and I found a pretty good Deftones song on the soundtrack. That was actually the first Deftones song I heard, actually that was pretty much the first Metal song I got into

Yeah, let's all remember back to the days when Dawn was a complete dick and we all hated him with the power of a thousand suns. But he's cool now, and that's all that matter ^o^

Midnight Scribbler 1,702 Share November 8, 2013 This one starts out mellow, and it is sort of an interlude piece, but it's pretty awesome. I enjoyed this album a lot, and it's great to work to.

Woohoo 23,747 Share November 8, 2013 This video. Oh hell yes. I can't even begin to express how much I love Tool. I can say that I am impressed with not only the complexity of the lyrics and the music, but also the level of absolute talent each of the members displays on more than one front. They're all very interesting people, music aside. A metal music video that uses Claymation? That's a rarity Another thrash band I've decided to check out. Long songs, but some of the tracks are just so good. Also, Gene Hoglan. That's enough of a selling point. Gene Hoglan is one of my favorite metal drummers. I also like his work in Death. lomk 20,630 Share November 8, 2013 This is a song my football team used to listen to back when I played in high school. I never knew the name of the song. After three years of searching, I've finally found it. I hope my neighbors don't mind me blasting this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GweHZ--Io2Y
Midnight Scribbler 1,702 Share November 8, 2013 A metal music video that uses Claymation? That's a rarity Actually Tool uses it quite a bit. Actually most of their videos include it somewhere, all done by the guitarist I believe (Though i could be mistaken, it might have been another member). He also did prosthetic work for the Jurassic Park movie among other things. Maynard, the singer, actually has his own Vineyard too. Very interesting group of people.
Lunapalooza 9 Share November 8, 2013 I've been listening to this pretty underground metal band called "Raped By Pigs"; they're good if you're into really hardcore metal. Obviously not SOAD good or anything, but they deserve at least some recognition.
Ty5142 262 Share November 8, 2013 Went into super fanboy mode when Battlefield 4 came out and found this really good metal remix of all the battlefield game themes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oHmFeIubD0&list=PL342512EA3A535806&index=
NeverNeverland 1,939 Share November 9, 2013 So apparently, Dawn got banned. I shouldn't feel surprised but I still am. Huh. Seregon, anyone? Gene Hoglan is one of my favorite metal drummers. I also like his work in Death. His stuff in the Strapping Young Lad albums are great as well.
Midnight Scribbler 1,702 Share November 9, 2013 ARKONA Russian pagan metal, the best I've seen live. The lead singer actually plays a hide drum and wears a real wolf pelt on stage. Pretty fucking metal.
Twiliscael 3,942 Share November 9, 2013 We must vex the new guys in the dark arts. So apparently, Dawn got banned. I shouldn't feel surprised but I still am. Huh. Him and Moog decided to commit forum suicide and get themselves banned. They both made threads and posted all this loli-porn and boom, gone. Admittedly, the fact Moog named his "I AM THE ANTICHRIST" was pretty entertaining.
Flutter3825 9 Share November 9, 2013 A metal music video that uses Claymation? That's a rarity I know Serj Tankian has this weird claymation thing for one of his song "left of center" I love his songs... but man some of his videos are trippy...

Midnight Scribbler 1,702 Share November 10, 2013 Stumbling about on youtube playlists brought me to this fine piece of music. Thought I'd share. I just started rocking the hell out when it hit the first heavy part.

I think it's pretty awesome.
Treeboy 417 Share November 10, 2013 Listened to a demo today from one of my favorite bands right now, Deafheaven. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiPO0x2yw-k It's their most overtly black metal release, and has plenty of folk elements too. At this stage in their career, they hadn't done too much in the post-rock department.
