The title track for this amazing album. I would like to point out one very interesting feature of this song too.

Note the similarity between the intro music to that of Pink Floyd's opening track on the album Division Bell, titled "Cluster One". Another note I picked out, though this song references many things, I noticed the floyd references more, partly due to the musical similarity in the beginning. During the song, the line "Careful with that axe Eugene" is used, which is in reference to yet another Floyd song by that title.

After fanboying about Vektor's new release, I moved on and decided to binge watch Gojira music videos (for the first time). Now I got their songs stuck in my head alonside those of Vektor.

Great news! Meshuggah will release their new album this fall! Can't wait for more, because this little teasing here gets me already impatient for a song from the upcoming release.

Favorite Slayer tune right here

I love that song. It's definitely one of my favorites right up there with Ghosts of War and Angel of Death.

As for my contribution to the thread allow me to present some Industrial metal.

Pretty overlooked song by Gojira, gotta be one of if not my favorite song from Terra Incognita.

Another new song by D.A. from their soon to be released The Evil Divide

Liking this one

New Gojira, IMO a huge improvement over Stranded.

That main riff is the highlight of the song IMO.

Until yesterday I never really listened to Buckethead besides this song. I need to listen to more. Final Wars and Lotus Island were amazing.

I've found a new band to check out. I'd never even heard of them before now but good god. It just goes to show that there is always more great metal to find out there.

@@Discordian,
Ah I see you've discovered the amazingness that is Buckethead. ;)

He's one of the most talented guitarists ever imo. He's beyond just playing it, he experiments with the very limits of what the instrument is capable of doing, he can even use all 4 fingers on each hand simultaneously, as well as play one handed. Here's another good one.

And also an example of what I mentioned. He's just nuts.

@@Midnight Scribbler,

I had known about him for years thanks to Guitar Hero 2. Jordan was in that game. But yeah, definitely gonna listen to those you posted later.

He sounds pretty amazing as a musician too and I'm not easily impressed with individual musicians.

Just so you know that video is private so we can't see it.

I did put it to private because I kinda got a lot of dislikes and it frustrates me

Instead, here's the clean version who is not private:

Here's the debut demo from an excellent band that I have just discovered.

I'm sorry to hear that you were receiving a lot of dislikes on that version of the video.
