Not a very good recording, but noteworthy as a Wisconsin metal band. The drummer went on to be the drummer of Fall Out Boy.

Just bought this new single yesterday. Love it. Glad to see this band is getting back to the nu-metal after their odd (though surprisingly good) acoustic album.

Oh boy, do I have a lot to say about them.

 

Everyone is always saying that either Five Serpents Teeth is the primal album to get, or Enter The Grave. Here's what I think - if you want really fast and young thrash (basically typical but at the same time, fresh), get Enter The Grave.

If you prefer a bit of an technical edge to music, more riffed base, try Infected Nations - their second album. Be warned, its a much slower album, and the vocalist constantly hates on this album because he feels he did a bad job on the vocals.

If you prefer songs that have a slightly more refined edge to it - like if songs on Enter The Grave got a bit more worked on and fixed to sound more serious, or if Infected Nations got a de-tuned a bit to sound less negative and more all around, get Five Serpents Teeth.

This is most likely the heaviest track on Heritage. And when I say heavy, I mean by comparison. There are no growls, nor are there any overly heavy riffs. Heritage is still an incredible album, however.

I'm probably one of the few people who believes Disturbed got better after their first album. I love all of their albums but I believe they only got better as the albums came.
