I can give you one worst character, imo. 

 

Sarah Palmer.    I cannot stand her "cockiness" and her "rudeness".  

 

Ex: She calls Scientists "Eggheads" (yet I'm but not sure if its commonly used IRL), thinking she's more superior than them. 

 

Yeah, she may be a girl (which is fine by me), but the character's personality, truly sucks.  Hate to say this, but I hope she's killed off, b/c a lot of Halo fans dislike her.

I think you've made a mistake: this is the "worst" VG character thread.  Not the most disturbingly-awesome, fairyfolk-fanboy characters thread lol.

 

Does "generic guy in a helmet (or what have you) from a FPS" count? xD  If not, I'll say...  Most of the cast of Assassin's Creed III. xD The sequence with Paul Revere...  I wanted to assassinate HIM.  And I cared so very little about most anyone else.

No one likes the S-IVs anyway. They aren't even as badass as the ODST's. It is like the writer for characters no longer has any military experience, and just writes every character like they are some damn college frat boy. Get the military advisors back so the military people stop acting like they are frat boys at a keggar.

 

 

And I nominate every escort quest NPC ever. Because none of them are coded well, and escort quests are worse than ebola.

I think Spirou is the worst. I mean, he is so dumb, it's incredible...

 

First, he decides to chase a bad guy. But there is a small car blocking the sidewalk. He has the choice between two options.

 

a) Go around the car

 Option b ) climb onto the roof of the nearby building and jump from roof to roof.

 

And he goes for option b.

 

Next, he wants to take the subway. What does he do ?

 

a) Buy a ticket and enter the train

 Option b ) Climb on the roof of the train and avoid all incoming obstacles while train is on route.

 

Of course, option b is the most logical and this is the one he goes for.....

Lydia, from Skyrim. All she does is get in the way and annoy you! She's supposed to be your assistant throughout the whole game.... well if that's the case, why the hell did she die BEFORE we reached High Hrothgar?! The second time I played the whole game, she was constantly blocking my path and annoying me, so I killed her! Next time I play the whole game, I'm gonna keep her waiting in Dragonsreach until she decides "Fuck this!"

It would be fine in a children's cartoon, but this is a combat environment, were people can die. Writing every single spartan 4 so immature is just fucking annoying.

So true.   With Armor, I gotta agree, with their "anorexic" appearance, it does make them like Power Ranger, XD.    However, their are 3 armor sets that look fine with the slim appearance, which is the Recon (i adore this armor set), and Scout.  The rest, look ugly with the slim appearances.

Okay, so I haven't had the lovely time to stand up and play this game, but holy crap, Fi is already annoying. Even more so than the hated Navi- her hints were useful because I was newbtastic when I played OoT. But Fi is just like...

I calculate a 100% probability that you're annoying.

I might be a little quick to judge since I've barely started the game and I lost my Wii Motion thing (technically it was my brothers but they blame me) but I don't like her. So she's one of my least favourites. (I possibly dislike Tingle more because he's freaking creepy but that was already said.)

Ripto in "Enter the Dragonfly" - He went from a maniacal threat to a bumbling idiot. At least he was somewhat redeemed in the GBA games...

What is worst mean? Like the characters I don't like? If so then I might add Jason (main character) from Far Cry 3. I don't like him one bit...if I may quote Sweets. He abandoned his friends and acts like an arrogant rage fueled monster that thinks his tattoos and weapons makes him into a legit island native and the people he meets along the way don't help by fueling his delusion. He is an example of a corrupt character consumed by war and the drugs he's constantly putting into his veins. He is totally contemptible and I killed him with explosives after he finally abandoned his friends because I don't like him so much. I haven't finished his story yet but I hope he finishes his vengeful quest and then dies doing so. A man such as he has nothing to live for.

Anyway, I'd say Shadow the Hedgehog, but I feel he's more of a "ruined" character than a straight up bad one(imo, he should have stayed dead after SA2), though I could also say 80% of Sonic characters suck, like Big or Silver

Most "help/tutorial" characters like Omchao and Fi suck too

Jasper Batt Jr from No More Heroes 2 sucks huge balls. No I don't care if he was to meant to tell the message that revenge isn't worth it, he still sucks

I don't want to hurt the feelings of any of his fans (which I'm always surprised that he even has), but this is the character I really wanted to mention in my first post:

I genuinely think he has one of the worst, most repugnant character designs in the history of gaming lol.  I saw on Wiki that he got a redesign at some point...  Don't especially care for that, either.
