I like various genres but platformers have always been my favorite. Maybe it's in part because the first games I liked were from that genre, but there's something really fun about them.

I don't mind RPG's...   BUT   I despise games that force me to button mash in any way, shape or form.

RTS and co-operative games are my cup of tea. (RUSE, Starcraft II, RO2:HoS, etc.)   Free-roaming action is also a huge favourite of mine. (Farcry 2, Just Cause 2, etc.)

Because it shows you pokemon is amazing, therefore rpg is the best.

 

No, that's the theme song for the first season of the anime. It has nothing to do with the games (one series doesn't determine which genre is the best either.)

Yeah, but everyone who played the orignal game usualy watched the anime. And you should really tell I was not being serious when I posted the video. Lol.

And the anime is probably what gave Pokemon the reputation of being for "kids-only." Oh, I know you weren't being serious, but I was bored, and felt like making a post. :P

Lol, i am still adjusting to pony life.

And yeah, Platformers are pretty fun. Wouldn't say they were the BEST though.

I'm not, ponies have been in my life since February.

 

I find that there are more Platformers I like than games from other genres. If we were comparing my favorite RPG series (Pokemon) to my favorite Platforming series (i'm not really sure if I have a favorite, actually...), then RPG might be my favorite, but that's not the case here.

A lot, though not all, of newer games that get tagged as RPGs I really consider more action/adventure than anything.

Yeah, But I really enjoy older games alot more than recent games that have been coming out, although games on the xbox arcade are going back to rpg's old roots.
