How do you deal with trolls?

Trolls crave attention since they aren't getting it elsewhere, so just ignore them. They will try to grasp whatever long hanging fruit is near to get you to acknowledge them. Don't give in. Eventually they will break down and leave you alone.

I was the troll king  and just about every site i was on . Got ban A LOT!!! (25 sites i was ban on but i stop as i got older and did not want to be know for that) really just don't talk or deal with them. the more you feed a troll the bigger it gets.  I just did it for the LOLs

I ignore trolls rather than feed them. Normally, I don't even try to reason with or respond to them because it's completely pointless. I just click "ignore" and maybe "report" depending on how severe the trolling is.

Not paying attention to them. But sometimes I've had people trying to be a piece a sh*t with me. And I said "thank you" to them. But it was from the heart. Without hostility whatsoever. And they just felt like a piece of sh*t with themselves. It is like a mirror thing. But I am in my own world most of the time. So, I just don't pay attention to anyone, really. I was blessed with oblivion. Both the elder scrolls game, and the power.

I've learnt not to care about them. Really boils down to whether or not you want to waste your own time arguing with some clown who has nothing better to do.

Ooooh I have an idea. What if you come up with a random word and you just reply with that word to everything they say? How about the word, box? And you just say, ‘box’ to every little thing they say. Eventually they will get so annoyed and frustrated that they will give up and leave. That’s the idea anyway. Dunno if it’ll work since I haven’t tried it myself yet.

It depends on what they're doing and how much of a negative impact they're making.

Most of the time I ignore but if they're bothering someone else with malice then all I gotta do is pop in with my avatar and they'll hyperfocus on "trolling" me. They may think they're catching W's but really what's going on is they're being outplayed!
