Out of my interest in hip hop, I'm thinking about starting a hip hop group. Instead of today's hip hop and trap music, let's go old school. We could call ourselves Tha Bronies.

And our lyrical themes could relate to pretty much everything about Pinkie Pie and MLP:FiM in general.

Sounds beast.

I laughed though at you singling out Pinkie Pie...

But I guess she is canonically a rapper, so I can't disagree with you there!

I know there are already Brony rappers out there, but I'm not a fan of their work. No offense to them. I'd be interested to see where this goes if you're serious.

I do love me some old school hip hop. I'd be keen to make beats if you're interested.  :muffins:

Hey, I'm curious about your beats. Mind if you can link some on here?

Not bad for 15 minutes, but it doesn't scream old school. Here is a little inspiration:

I am aware that this is a newer song, but true 90s rap was mostly horrid.

yeah it was my first go at hiphop so i thought i would try something simple :) as for that vid, the beat is dope but everything else doesnt speak to me.

I think i like the styles of Nunjabes, Nate Dogg, Kid Loco ect more

I could make beats so count me in. I can also freestyle and write lyrics.

I just think that the group name is cheesy.

Might be a little cheesy i think :P but if you can freestyle, you you be keen on a Collab maybe?  :squee:

The beat sounds like early Hip Hop. Like 80's stuff or something. At least to me, 90's Hip Hop is shit like Nas or something, but whatever. I don't pay much attention towards that era.
