How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Hesitantly tried an episode or two of a cartoon with colorful, singing ponies... wound up watching dozens. It was like donut holes except it didn't make me fat.

Twenty-four years old geek who's recently added this show to my list of likable things. I was drawn to the community aspect after watching a documentary and seeing it painted as a very sociable place. Usually fandoms are one of the least tolerable places on the already questionable Internet.

 

I love what's known as flash fiction, which is short fiction in under 1,000 words, but I'm not sure if MLP would be a suitable topic or if it would receive any interest here.
