music Is it weird that I like Game music more then most music genres?

One of the best. I love listening to it while writing my MLP fanfic. It makes things so much more epic.

I listen to music before I write. Or after. Not during.

Anyway, the music you all choose is...good and all.. :maud: ..but I have heard better in the genre. I like listening to music from various interactive story soundtracks. That is why I have over 200 albums. The two below are exceptional soundtracks that I recommend any fan of the genre to listen to regardless if they are knowledgeable of their origins. Other albums I like are from "Bastion", "Child of Light", "Tales of Legendia", "Flower", "Ar Tonelico (1-3): Hymmnos".

Oh it's definitely not weird. I'm a huge fan of instrumental stuff from games like Zelda and Sonic. If there's one thing I adore in a game it's a game with great music. Always makes an epic stage/area/boss feel that much more heroic or epic if the music is good and fits just right.

No I don't think its weird, sometimes other music can get boring. I love the Halo theme songs and show theme songs, and some soundtracks.

Since people are placing links I will link my favorite Halo 2 theme song (Which was triggered on the, 3rd? last level) Anyways here it is, my favorite moment in the game.

I have to admit the first game is amazing and the music is beautiful as I like yhe piano emotion to it and the fact in the game it tells the story behind it also eternal sonata is beautifully done in so many ways even though sometimes itbcan come across as a bit child like at times. The second ive never heard of though. The song doesnt really do anything for me but maybe theres still a few songs there that will.

Final fantasy x has a way of combining music at the battle of the aeons. You see yuna bring each aeon out and then you have to destroy them one after the other to get at yu yevon and the music just sends you there with the emotion and gives you the feeling of sadness as you end your allies lives. The best battle in the game.
