My heart flutters when I see Button's Mother, I can see why she is well liked. However in my opinion, Snowdrop would have to be considered as emotionally stirring.

This voice dub is what gets me emotional all the time. Whether it is the music or the powerful fan voice acting, it hits me everytime. The original writer of this comic is a genius, and the fan dub voicing is amazing.

This also did quell allot of Celestia hate, that's how powerful this ended up being. Plus this is something that makes sense in the aftermath if the Royal Wedding episode. It kinda also shows what helped Twilight get her title as princess, in a fan perspective sense however. I just love this video and rewatch it every so often. This is by far one of Mindless Gonzo's best vids. The funny thing is, I'm not one to cry often but I feel tears of sadness and joy watching this. This goes deep for me. This and Snowdrop are about the only things I've read/seen which literally jerk some tears outta me.

Though I love my little Dashie and think it is a great fan fic, but I can honestly say that it isn't even close to the saddest.

 

Gutterloo, in this Scootaloo is a homeless filly and she

she dies at the end *gasp*

thought not in the nicest of ways, actually a fairly grotesque way to be honest, oh yea, and it also is kinda based off of "The Little Match Girl"

 

Next I would say "A Precious Rainbow", to sum this up Dash basically survives the events that took place in the grim dark fic "Cupcakes" but before she could get saved ended up loosing both of her wings thus losing her ability to fly. throughout the fic it goes through Dashes inner struggle of no longer being able to become what she had dreamed all of her life to become but at the end it actually has a very bittersweet ending.

 

Oh, and the creepy pasta called "The Truth Behind "My Little Pony"" All this one really does is go into 6 sad stories about how each of the mane 6 died and then were reborn as the ponies we know and love!

That is an amazing song! It was actually one of the first fan made pieces I was asked to watch. My kids said ... YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS! When I asked if there was any 'non re-mix' music. Lesson learned ... be snarky and prepared to eat crow.

I've said enough places how much I love Snowdrop so I'll spare the speech, but I adore really emotional stories like Snowdrop.  Being someone who was picked on myself in school, I really can relate to her character, and I think the story is excellently done for an emotional story because it doesn't just toss out a sob story, but it shows us Snowdrop's struggle to overcome that.  Definitely not only my favorite fan work, but the fan work which has made me the most emotional and which has resonated with me the most.
