JH24 376 November 12, 2014 Share November 12, 2014 (edited) Wow, the difficulty in FnaF 2 seems so much higher than in FnaF 1. The later nights seem a nightmare, so intense and so stressful. I don't think I can handle that level of intensity. Two animatronics in each of the vents, two animatronics in front of you, the music box running out. Talk about multitasking! Night 6 seems even harder than 20/20/20/20 mode in the first game. And it seems luck and RNG plays an even bigger role here. One thing I don't like is that it's much more apparent the animatronics "jump" around. They just teleport into your room one after another. In the first game there was at least the illusion they were walking from room to room. Edited November 12, 2014 by JH24

One thing I don't like is that it's much more apparent the animatronics "jump" around. They just teleport into your room one after another. In the first game there was at least the illusion they were walking from room to room. That's just part of the challenge; the place was a lot smaller in the first one, there wasn't as much to watch over. With a lot more space and rooms to keep an eye on its not as easy to give the illusion of them walking room to room. It wouldn't be nearly as challenging if they did. By jumping around faster and having more areas to jump around to it keeps the player on edge more often. Therefore keeping them into wanting to get through it, to want to discover more secrets, to see how fast they can beat it and find better strategies along the way. So speaking of our mystery animatronic that I saw in one video, it appears again in this video. That's appeared in a few other YouTuber play throughs and I still don't know what it is. But why in the form of a mini game that looks like something you'd find on the nes? That's just weird. And if it's all the marionette's doing, then why did golden Freddy appear in one of them? The Puppet's also implied to have disguised itself as Golden Freddy during that time.

The Puppet's also implied to have disguised itself as Golden Freddy during that time. True. But I thought the killer was a human, not a puppet. Then again it could've diguised itself as a human who used the golden Freddy suit rather than just golden Freddy.
Christmasy Britty 2,553 November 12, 2014 Share November 12, 2014 why would they add so many animatronics to the game there are at least nine including balloon boy and balloon boy is biggest troller ever

And there's 10. Not 9. Golden Freddy is part of the lineup now. though it's 11 if you count in the marionette and 12 if that endoskelton thing is counted as well. But like I said I'm not sure if that last one counts. I know the puppet/marionette/mask thing probably does. It's not in the listed lineup but it does show up enough. iow there'd could be 11-12 but you only can chance the AI level on 10. The originals including golden Freddy and the new ones. So it'd be 20-20-20-20-20-20-20-20-20-20.
MLPFanatic34 3,215 November 12, 2014 Share November 12, 2014 Someone on a stream I was in last night posted two pictures of that endoskeleton thing they found. I wonder what that's about also I read about Five Nights 2 being a prequel and the whole theory with the Puppet being the killer or a reincarnation of the killer. It being a prequal was quite the twist actually. Before it was just rumor and thories, but then when someone beat the game and got the check, it's dated to 1987. Also also, there might be yet ANOTHER animatronic: What the hell Mr. Cawthon. Edited November 13, 2014 by Barbaloot

There's a new reason to play. It's funny. I used to hate horror/survival horror and the like games. But this game changed that. Barbaloot 196 November 13, 2014 Share November 13, 2014 (edited) Cool and creepy as that is, can you put those under a spoiler please. We're trying to keep the thread with any pictures or whatever under them so those who haven't played it yet won't see them automatically. Oh right, sorry. I don't remember how to do spoilers, though... [?] Did this work? [/?] Or how about this? Edited November 13, 2014 by Barbaloot
Larkybird~ 734 November 13, 2014 Share November 13, 2014 (edited) Anyone else getting terminator vibes from old Bonnie's appearance? Red eyes, creepy endoskelton face that's not completely torn off but still bare enough to be frightened, metallic, brokenish arm... JH24 376 November 15, 2014 Share November 15, 2014 (edited) The more I'm playing this game the more I begin to like it. It's definitely way more intense than the previous game but that's also something that keeps pulling me back. Love the variety of the animatronics and the tension you feel wondering if you were fast enough putting on the mask when an animatronic enters your office. This is an amazing sequel, I'll be busy for awhile trying to get through the nights. Edited November 15, 2014 by JH24
The Seventh Octave 26 November 19, 2014 Share November 19, 2014 (edited) Spoilers The game actually has quite an interesting story if you pay attention closely enough. Also, despite the fact that many are FAR to quick to say that it is not so, there is absolutely no denying it. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is indeed a prequel and takes place during the murder of the five children and right before the bite of 1987. I will post more latter when i have the time. For I have all of the answers. Edited November 19, 2014 by The Seventh Octave

Larkybird~ 734 November 19, 2014 Share November 19, 2014 People think FNAF is scary lol its not Scariness is subjective. To say it's not is just your opinion. It's not scary to you. To others it is. There are people who are scared of animatronics. There are people who are scared of jump scares. So yeah. It's not scary to YOU. To others it is. yayayayayala 1,666 November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 People think FNAF is scary lol its not Ohai I hate being startled. I'm easily startled when I don't know something's coming, and when I KNOW something's going to startle me (e.g. in a movie) I get this feeling of anticipation that isn't very fun. In other words: Jumpscares are not for me. BUT! There is a side of me that enjoys reading about these things, because I'm kind of fascinated with them. "How can people do/stand these things?" "How do these people come up with these ideas?", etc. There's also a teeny tiny part of my brain that likes zalgo. So I started reading into it because of Equestria Daily XP I saw the SFM video of a ponified "playthrough", with the mane six animatronics. I saw people commenting that 3:50 in the video was the only time they saw Twilight Sparkle and went "Oh crap!" So I went to 3:50, let it play for a few seconds and realized: Ohh crap you have to try not to wake them up! .....That's creepy. Then I saw the comments about "Foxyjack" after the credits. I tried to find "her", and (with the video paused of course) clicked and clicked around the credits to try to find the right time. I finally landed on an extreme closeup of "her" face with just the barest portion of her eyes visible on the sides of the screen. My reaction was "Whoa, that's creepy!" *closes tab* *zalgo-brain clicks on* Ooh, that was interesti I have now read a lot of the wiki for FNAF and FNAF 2, and concur that it's a pretty complicated game - ESPECIALLY 2. Jumpscares/fear factor aside, it seems to be very difficult, and one who is spacey shouldn't play if they expect to live through all the nights I was also pretty wowed at Bonnie and Chica twitching and mumbling, and the Phone Guy thing on Night 4, which speaks to that little zalgo-fascinated bit of my brain. (Actually, I started laughing at that phone guy bit out of incredulity ) So. Reading about it was fine. Seeing some of the pictures/gifs on the wiki was fine. But if I ever was presented with the opportunity to buy it, I'd go spend those 7 dollars on a cute little unicorn plushie or something. XD And if somehow I ever ended up facing the menu screen, I don't think I could bring myself to click whatever button is the Start button. And that's because of my hatred of being startled, the trickiness of how many times you have to check things, and just genuinely not wanting to actually play the game. (And don't even get me started on FNAF 2 - no way am I ever checking vents in my life!) I don't think the game is SCARY necessarily; it would be to me and probably to a lot of other people because of the anticipation, the fear of jumpscares, etc. The main word I'd assign to it is CREEPY. Because that's what it is. And really: Any game where you have to hear deadly animatronics singing and laughing, keep a door open to NOT get killed by a deadly animatronic, avoid being mistaken for an endoskeleton and stuffed into a metal wire-filled suit, listen to a phone guy being killed, and wait for a sign to change from saying "Sorry, out of order" to "IT'S ME", while all the while trying to save battery power which will kill you if it runs out...is nothing short of creepy. XP So...I really only read all of this to satisfy that zalgo part of my brain, knowing now I'll never have to read it again. Also because I know it probably won't get into my dreams, since my dreams are usually unaffected by things that happen in the day. Now, however, it's midnight, and I'm officially up late. So once I post this, I'm going to go to bed, and when I stop getting notifications about this post (if I get any) I'll never think about FNAF again. yayayayayala out! (And for those of you who will play FNAF 2 soon: GOOD AMAZING LUCK, and don't forget the music box!!)
