ggg-2 3,544 August 28, 2014 Share August 28, 2014 There are sources that say we hear all possible meanings of "Eeyup" in Pinkie Apple Pie. (though let's face it, these sources like to hyperbolize a lot!) However, later in Somepony to Watch Over Me, we possibly hear at least one more possible meaning of Big Mac's signature phrase, as when Big Mac and Applejack leave to go on their deliveries, he calls back "eeyu-up!" in a way that seems to mean goodbye or see you soon. So have we REALLY heard all possible meanings of "Eeyup"?
Abia 258 August 28, 2014 Share August 28, 2014 "Eeyup" is similar to the word "Smurf"--it doesn't have a specific meaning, and just morphs to fit into whatever context it belongs.
Miles 2,512 August 28, 2014 Share August 28, 2014 Not kidding - it was a thing before MLP. Seriously.I've always said it. Gotta know your cultural backgrounds - it really is a country thing. Eeyup...
Pastel 7,626 August 28, 2014 Share August 28, 2014 It has a lot of meanings, I guess we can't count them. It depends on the context.
SilverStarApple 849 August 30, 2014 Share August 30, 2014 Yes, Eeeyup and Yep in general can have many meanings. Someone, quick, post the Yuuuup guy from storage wars. ...Why do I feel the need to say storage hunters and see what happens?
