Khaoios 1,970 September 1, 2014 Share September 1, 2014 Well, trying to analyze your problem, I would like you to try this: Open up another web browser, but keep the one your having a lag problem opened. Log on to this site and see if it loads faster, than the primary one. If the site from the second web browser loads faster, than it is your primary web browser that has a problem. Jeric 46,834 September 2, 2014 Share September 2, 2014 One other item to mention is that IP Board doesn't handle parallelizable requests very well. For example, most of the profile images that you see have to be stored on the same domain, which does increase lag time. This is why image heavy IP Boards tend to run slower on average than traditional sites. That isn't really a domain or server issue. One thing that may help if isolating it to one particular browser doesn't do the trick ... try and change the theme to the standard IP.Board template. Does that help? Also attached a screenshot of where you can find the theme link at the bottom of the page. Let us know if any of these solutions help. Note to staff: Combining the external .js (javascript) files so you can remove some of the calls in the HTML may yield a (very) slight improvement as well. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
