I was just a few days over one year old, sitting on my mom's lap while she cried in front of the TV. I remember her telling that story one day.

My mom had just dropped me off at my grandma’s house because she used to babysit me while my mom went to work.

It was 3 PM here when it happened, and I was sitting in my family's sofa doing nothing. At that time my mom got a call from my late aunt in Germany, saying we should turn on the TV. And the first thing that was on was a broadcast from CNN, on all channels showing the smoking building. Then of course, the second plane came into view a few minutes later, making it an obvious attack.

I have always wondered what the next big negative thing will be to hit us... It seems it is already here, called COVID-19
