Trinket gathered the instruments they had found and placed them gently inside a toolbox near the cottage she was building. "That was easier than I thought! Thanks a bunch for your help, guys." She smiled softly and sat down on her haunches, staring at the half-built home in front of her for a few seconds. Perhaps she should get back to work as soon as possible. There was much still left to do in the town, and she didn't want to waste much time on a single task.

"So you build stuff, huh Trinket? That's cool. What kind of things? Houses? No wait, the tools doesn't seem right... Sculptures perhaps?"

"Oh. Uh... Well..." She became reluctant to answer for a bit, not sure why. "Toys, actually." She answered. "I run a toy store in Baltimare with my family, so I spend most of my time creating playthings 'for colts and fillies of all ages and sizes'... Heh, that's our motto."

"I'm a cat. I eat mice, birds and things like that, not what looks like floppy bread sticks. Besides, higher brain functionality wasn't something I got until later in my previous life, and no matter how intelligent us cats tend to be, there is a limit to how much processing power a normal one tends to have. Hence, there is a good chunk of years where this might have been mentioned, but I didn't find it important enough to even focus on. You'd be surprised how often that happens when you're a tiny creature with a limited memory."
Cresent shrugged it was obvious he still wasn't use to cats in terms of what they would know.

"still a shame not even in dream world no pasta came up, then again I'm glad I probably would have woken up eating the armchair I was on or something" he smiled turning the pasta more in the water.

"seriously if there's one thing I got to teach you cat or other wise pasta works for every animal" he said sniffing the steam then looking for some spice to add to the water and some meat from the fridge, he then paused hearing the youngster's question.

"E-Excuse me? But uhm... What happened if you pull that lever you mentioned?"
The bat pony smiled realizing multiple thing with having his feline friend and the youngster around the same kitchen. How would this colt act seeing meat eating? repulsing? horror? shock?...maybe eating meat in front of the youngster first day was a bad idea for now. Ease him into the surroundings would be beast for food...his belly still longed for meat tho. This was going to be tricky.

"I have the sofa that turns into a fun bouncy trampoline, helps when I'm board just to jump when my wings are tired" he said

"try it might get ya to smile more" the bat finished cheerfully, he decided to let zin know about ponys and meat thing when he would get the chance.

"Bully doesn't even begin to describe him; he was a monster. It's a lot more complicated than just finding my predecessor." Ghilan looked at Omen and felt reassured despite how difficult the situation is at the moment. "I appreciate the offer but how would you track him? There's got to be a method to this and even if we find him, his agents, his supporters, will know about it. Sooner or later-"

Lin raised her voice and interjected, caring not for what ifs and respect. The image she had of Ghilan when they first met started to crumble into a complacent whiner whose attitude would've been enough for anyone to reconsider their vote almost immediately.

"Sooner or later, he will strike and you will regret this inaction simply because you couldn't decide! The villagers who support you now look up to you to guide them. You mustn't let them down now or all of this would be for nothing."

The elder looked back to the village with the square in sight. The very same one he stood in the night Sen was exiled. He could see his father running from the back of the crowd, pushing his way to the front and yelling from the top of his lungs to reconsider under threat of a beatdown. He never got the chance, though. He was whisked away by the hunters while Sen's mother wept. There were others who jeered at Sen, taunting him about how he could not survive more than a month away from home. Then more followed, the same story all over again and the more it happened, the more fearful the critics became. The elder shuddered the thought of that happening once again.

"It's not going to be of much help right now but if you want some answers, try the archives in the communal huts. There are several memory flowers there that have the recorded voices of my predecessor and his accomplices on them. It should give you something to work with. I'll be at my hut if you wish to see me."

@@Blitz Boom, Astral gasped lightly hearing that answer. "Few centuries?" She looked at Scarcity surprised her tone showed this as well. "I'd love to hear how you even heard or found it!" She said rather loudly, surely drawing attention to herself. Attention that might have followed them as they walked to Scarcity's office. Astral looked at the truffle. "Chocolate Truffles?" She put a hoof on the desk, leaning in to look at them, not to closely, thinking that would look weird. "Chocolate, Truffles." She hadn't heard of truffles, but she had heard of chocolate, she lifted one up, nibbling it a bit, then taking a huge bite out of it. "Tastes great! Who made these?" She said falling back onto her seat with a whisk of air out, ruffling up her mane a bit.

Misty looked at Scarcity, Astral told her not to take food from strangers- although she did eat that one fruit from Chow... And Astral wasn't poisoned from it, or they'd see it, of course that alone would be bad. "What do they taste like?" Misty asked looking up at Astral, who was currently eating the last of hers.

"They taste..." Astral tried to think of another word to define the flavor other than good, or great. "Like chocolate, but slightly better."

"Chocolate?" She stood up grabbing a chocolate truffle from the bowl, taking a bite. "Hm." . "It is good."

Astral looked at Scarcity. "You fine if I take more than one?"  She asked leaning to the bowl, ready to grab another one.

Vivid's message would carry through Charlie much like she had hoped, though, to Queen Allure it would sound like a voice on the telephone instead of sounding as if they were in the same room. "Well, I guess I'm off to find the doctor then. Bye!" Charlie was excited, likely not seeing the full depth of the situation. To Charlie, this would just be another adventure, with another new place to explore, even if it wasn't real. Soon though, Charlie would walk among the living and be able to explore the beauties of the waking world like one never could in that long life spent as a tree. "I've got to go find Doctor Xeno. Do you two want to come with me?" Even with this current form, Charlie's eyes were very expressive, practically begging for a "yes" from both of them.

"And what do you see of his impact on that future?" the Traveler asked, pointing his hoof toward a bearded pony looking around. When Briar and the doctor arrived, they would see Doctor Xeno unconscious with his horn imbedded in the tree, and Seamore holding a saw above the changeling's horn. At least, the doctor would see it, but Briar most likely be able to feel the changes in the wind. To them it might seem like Seamore, oblivious to their presence, was about to try cutting off Doctor Xeno's horn. What they wouldn't see from that angle, however, would be a notch in the other side of the tree, cut to control the direction the tree would fall. The notch was higher up than where Miles had his horn, but this was so Seamore could cut well above him, therefore lessening the risk that the weight might shift and cause more damage.

Trinket tilted her head slightly. "Familiar?..." She asked, digging deep inside her memory to try and find anything resembling that pony in front of her. Something about her did seem off, but nothing else really struck her as familiar. At least not immediately. "Do you happen to know about the store? Yeah, it's... well... it's sorta popular, I guess." (before entering the house)

"Well, nopony ever believes me when I say the wood puppies don't wanna play with me anymore, so I stopped telling it and just let it happen. I wish the wood puppies would play a little though. Been months since they started to run away, and i only tossed a few bombs at them."

She were about to say more, and then ask about the huge hammer and the shiny metal armor the mare wore, but the two of them had already gone in towards the house, so it slipped from her mind as she jumped inside after them. It'd come back anyway. Potentially.

(after the entered the house)

Blitz scratched her head and pondered for a bit, then shook her head before letting out a sneeze of her ownn from the whirling dust..

"I don't think you did. You kept calling yourself weird things and not wanting to say, so I sorta just thought of you as Grumpy and Scaredy-cat."

Nerzhei shook her head a little, wanting to say in a few ways how this was so very wrong, but knowing that she only had herself to blame. She hadn't been specific enough in her request, so of course her strange guest would not do it in the exact way she had hoped.

"No, not like that. You need to hold it in your hoof, and then focus on it as much as you can while there is physical contact. If there is anything magical about your illness, it will follow the focus and leave at least a slight trace, which will be seen by the gem changing colors. If it doesn't, it is purely biological, and we can take it from there then."

She took one of the other gems that were on the table and showed what she meant, by putting it in her hand before she started pretending to concentrate on it a lot. Pretend only though, as otherwise she could end up accidentally doing something... Bad with this gem, as the one in question were already filled with energy.

It would have been easier to explain these sort of things if Blood had been the sort of creature that had hands, but she had dealt with Breezies before, as well as having read up on pony physiology a few times, so she knew that Equine hooves were usable as hands too, to a certain extend. Exactly how had taken her a bit of time to figure out, but it had been an interesting learning experience.

Void cheered up a little and even let out a small laugh as she heard the story from Grey. Not so much so that she lost the nervous aspect of herself, but she looked to be more akin to the just slight nervousness when they found her, rather than what she had ended up as, and the depressed part had diminished greatly. All in all, a good job by Grey, considering what he had to work with here.

"T-Thank you Grey. Sometimes, it t helps to hear things like this, but I think your dad's right. We should uhm... Get to work, yes..."

She paused at the end, and looked between Grey and Storm, seeing the connection between father and son and thinking back a little on a time where she had a tinge of that in her own life. A time long gone, but it was a nice memory in a sea of horrid ones, even if it wasn't as obvious as with these two.

Storm and Grey were openly close, and you could see they loved to hang out with eachother, whilst herself and her dad... It had been complicated, but she knew he had done everything he could within the limits he had to work with, all the way towards the end. It was a time she missed for mostly that reason alone, but not one she thought of that many times, unless she gazed upon what seemed like a kind, loving family. Though, this family were incomplete. There was a father, there were his son, but one thing were missing in that equation. It might be a bad time to ask about this when Grey could hear it though, in case it was a touchy subject, but... Well, she could always try and speak with Storm a little on his own perhaps?

Usually she didn't react much on her curiosity, but most ponies in this town had been nice so far, so the worst that could happen here were hopefully that he didn't want to tell, and they'd just move past it. Other places she sometimes had to deal with aggressive ones, ranging from a sneer and all the way to... No, she didn't want to think on that. Not when the mood were okay around her.

Wandering closer to the two, she cleared her throat slightly and took a deep breath, before looking at Grey.

"There's a pony helping with the cooking that uhm... I think it was Granny Smith she called herself, and she were preparing some apples for pies. Perhaps you could help her with that Grey, whilst Storm, you could help me get the last tables that needs to be set up? I-If that's not an issue of course."

There was a slight smirk on her face when she looked at Storm, and imagined him bouncing around like in Grey's story, but she couldn't help it. it was a funny visual.

Long Stare blushed as she walked forward a little and took the ring from Draco's hoof.

"T-Thank you."

The ring were not of much monetary value, as the obsidian diamond that were placed in it wasn't of a particularly popular kind, so the price were low, but it were a piece that she had been looking for some times over the years for sentimental value. That being, the ring her grandfather had once given to her grandmother, that had been stolen ten years before this.

Her parents had long since given up on trying to find it again, but she had wanted this relic of their family back, and her sister... Well, Scarcity and her didn't talk much, but they did write a lot of letters and were on good terms with eachother, and the mare had had feelers out for this particular piece for a long time, waiting for something to bite. Which finally had happened, a month ago, when she had spotted it at a trip to a pawn shop in Manehatten. Stare had no idea if her sister ever found out how it had gotten there in the first place, but it was one of those things she didn't ask either. Her sister had some uhm... She was a great problem solver, let it be kept at that.

"You want me w-with you? I uhm... O-Okay."

Usually she didn't want to leave her home that much, but when it was Draco that asked... He were always so nice to her. The least she could do were to try and be a little bit more social with him, right?

Thinking on that a bit more she went inside her house for a little to place the ring somewhere safe, before after about a minute, returning outside, locking her door and wandering over to Draco.

"Let's uhm... Get going then."

"Do I look fine, pony?"

Pyhrus hadn't opened his eyes when he said this, but he could hear it in the voice. Ponies had a particular tinge in their voice when they spoke that other races didn't, though he wasn't going to discuss analytical behavior with one of them. Especially not when he felt like his shoulder had been inches away from just ripping itself off and asking him to bite it.

He'd open his eyes after that and look around, getting a first impression of the room. There seemed to be the pony that had talked with him nearby, with another pony standing in the corner and looking at him. The room itself seemed to be some sort of hospital room for all he could tell, but he still heard and felt the chains rattling around his limbs, so frankly, he wasn't totally convinced this were really that just yet.

His mind began to go clear about what this place where when his eyes fell on another being in the room, and got a quick look of surprise and horror before his red eyes seemed to flare with hatred.

"You dare to bring up her, you accursed little object? You think this will help you break me?"

Florence looked baffled and horrified, as a hatred the like of which she had never seen with him before, roared in her uncle's eyes. It especially didn't help that she didn't have any idea what he were going on about. Who did he talk to? And what object? Questions she hadn't any idea how to answer, but made sense to at least one other in this room, who then raised her voice some.

"Yo, Professor Numbskull. this isn't one of the whip's attempt to get to you. I already removed it from you. This is reality."

"This is nothing of the sort."

"And why can't you believe that? Isn't the pain indicator enough?"

"The pain can be faked. She can't. Not when I know she's dead."

He strained against the telekinetic power holding him in place whilst he got flipped up on the beds again where he had been before, which should be felt by Zen whilst it went on, and might refrain him from letting go of the griffon afterwards, just in case he'd lash out against him. He wouldn't though, but who were to say Zen would take the chance?

"Wait, you make toys? And Serenade knows you? Awesome!"

Ziggy's eyes got filled with wonder. The odds of this meeting happening were pretty low all things considered, but then it came forth that this pony also made toys? She loved toys! Especially the kind that had a lot of movement to them. Those had always been a big hit back at the hospital, and when she tried to cheer up foals these days, they still did well in helping her entertain them. It wasn't always needed, like when she had played with the Cake Twins, but she'd rather have the tools for fun and not need them, than needing the tools for fun and not having them.

Back to the current situation though, and beyond the fact that there was a toymaker within reach of her, Serenade had gotten a bit stern in it with the two of them. Or well, not really stern, but more controlling in things, though the things she said made a lot of sense. She really should take a nap, even if she still had some energy to go around, after this night, and she would lie if she said she wasn't hungry after this long night, so...

"Okay mom. Want me to do my homework too?"

Ziggy giggled whilst she bounced slightly over to Serenade and nuzzled the hidden siren's head with her own. This was gonna be fun. And relaxing, if you counted the nap. Or well, depended on if she'd be gnawed on in her sleep. Fah'lina might not want her asleep right now, but they'd see. Poor little thing could likely use some sleep herself.

Zinthar kept quiet when the colt was in the room, not wanting to let loose his tongue about his captivity in the dreamworld around others if it could be helped, minus Crescent who already knew. After all, he had been a great part of the reason why he had finally managed to get out of that cage.

He didn't have to wait long, as Cover-up just nodded a little and said he'd try the trampoline then, before wandering off towards the lever once more. The colt would drop the quill on his side first, obviously, or it'd end up a right mess, but it likely wouldn't be long before the noise of something bouncing would reach them.

"Remember Crescent, I was never in any dreams before you came around. I was trapped in that Purgatory where the only influence of dreams were the pathetic, mindless aberrations that wandered the nearly endless tunnels, like the dragon you saw. If I had seen dreams, I would have known more than I do now about this world, and perhaps have a grasp of how time had passed instead of having it hit me like a wall."

Wandering a little closer, Zinthar rose on his limber body towards the dish as it currently were, and sniffed the things little. It were... Different than he had thought. less like soggy bread as he had expected, and more rich and aromatic, if you combined things brought forth thus far. It also helped that the meat had been added, that were for sure, though... He would say it missed a little something.

"Interesting, but I think it needs more spice. Garlic perhaps? Starswirl tended to like to add that to food. He said it brought a lot of good out in the dishes."

It wasn't meant to sound somewhat sinister like that, but it were the fact of the matter. Omen's kind were great for delivering messages because they could track the energy efficiently like that, and couldn't get rid of the *smell* from their targets again. Only if something in their life energy changed, like it had with Lin, but the odds of that happening were small.

She wished to say something about what Lin had as well, and follow up on the conclusion she had made that inaction would be bad, but really... She couldn't think of anything to add to it. it sounded like it covered things well, yes? So if she said something more, it'd just be the same, and it would be pointless. It b´was better they spent that time on other things really, like her quickly explaining about her tracking to Ghilan. It might not make much sense now, but it was the best she really could say about it, as the only one she knew off that truly had any idea how their tracking worked, were Mother.

"If their voices is somewhere, perhaps it haves some of his energy there? Or something else perhaps. Either way, sounds like a place. But where is that place? Do you know, Lin?"

Omen turned to Lin as she poke, and looked at her sister curiously and expectantly. Whatever would happen now, she'd guess that either her, or Sen, would take the reigns of it soon. Especially when it came to finding things in this place, as she would likely just walk past it for days without having any clue it were what she looked for.

@@Lloyd,

Scarcity let out a low, pearly laughter at seeing the youngsters enjoy their little treat.

"Why of course, take as many as you wish. I am not much for them personally, and just keep them as treats for my guests. I would want them to feel comfortable after all, and especially when they are friends with my dearest Double Chow.

As for your previous question, the ways I acquire my antiques vary. Some are simply from families who are down on their luck and wishes to sell some of their valuables to somepony who will give them a fair price, others through auctions, some through simply paying the right price at the right time,a nd so forth. It is really a boring thing to discuss, but let it be known that I know how to keep track of something that could be a good investment. Like say, a certain shop that were formerly owned by a griffin-raised pony."

It seemed Scarcity moved away from the question without really answering much before directing it at Chow, but he wasn't surprised. Frankly, he were amazed it went this far before she brought this up.

"Mind me asking why? I thought I made it clear that I'd never return to this town when I left."

"And yet, here you are. Not for the reasons I expected, but still, it panned out that my predictions were right in the end."

"I don't follow."

"You want to move back to your home Chow. You always made that painfully clear, and for that you need good profit. In Canterlot you could have that, but left because the town wasn't for you, so instead you placed yourself in the little town of Ponyville, and tried to make due there. Something I hear have been... Strenuous at times, yes?"

"Okay, hold on, how in the sky did you know I was in Ponyville?"

"I have a relative that lives there that mentioned seeing you, so I got my information. And it quickly got clear that with the process you made, it would take upwards of ten years before you would be able to return. That is, if the villagers hadn't run you out before, as it sounds like a certain Fluttershy wasn't all too thrilled about you being in town, and with her being a local heroine and all... Hmhmhm, let's just say that I had several scenarios in mind quickly that all resulted in you one day returning here, and as such, I made a minor investment and bought the store. It was barely a drop in the ocean for me, and neither have it been to keep it clean in preparations for when you'd return."

So she had known this whole time, and prepared for him... Son of a haystack, how many steppes ahead where she even at this point? Had she planned out how long he would be in town? And what about the store? Why where she so certain that he wanted it back?

"...What have you done, Scarcity?"

The mare let out a pearly laughter and pulled a set of papers out from under her desk before placing them down so she were sure he could see it, and gave him a slightly triumphant look.

"Simply protected my investment. With so many frowning on animal slaughter, the places where you can legally have one of these places without it attracting ire have been reduced. Why, I believe there is only one place beyond that store of mine that can be used that is still for sale, and I believe my courier have already made sure to sent my bid on that property to it's current owner. I could always use a warehouse after all."

"You created a monopoly, by making sure there were only one place it could be located that wasn't in use?"

"In essence, yes. I could tell you the whole tale, but that would hardly be of any value, now would it? What is of value though, is that I currently have the deed to the only place you can legally set up shop in Canterlot again, which I have thus far refused to have run by a griffin or something else that could do your former job somewhat well, as I expected you to come back, and wanted to give you a fair chance. A chance that does come under certain... Terms though."

The look on her face really told how much she enjoyed sitting with so many of the cards on her hoof, though thus far she had still kept nice, even when holding a stranglehold on what Chow could do, now that he were back in town. Made you wonder what those terms would end up being, eh?

(How can ponies pick stuff up in there hooves?)

Blood Drops blinked confused still holding the gem in her mouth, she placed it on the floor, it was sticky with her saliva. She looked at her hooves and then at the gem, she needed two hooves to pick it up, and at least three to stand up. She frowned, she was a hoof short. It would be easier if she was a Unicorn, but she wasn't. She put one hoof on it and tried to lift it with just the one hoof, she managed to kick it several hoof steps forward. She then tried again resulting in it being kicked across the cave, she snorted angrily. This would take awhile.

Blood wedged the gem against the cave and began lifting it, she then pressed her body against the gem wedging it. Then she blinked, she had it but not in her hoof. She let it fall to the floor and tried again, with another approach. She used two hooves to pick it up and fell over onto her side, though she had it in her hoof still. She blinked up at the dragon. "I got it" she grinned. She then concentrated on it, waiting to see if it changed color or not.

It didn't seem to do anything so she licked it again, she liked to lick things. "Is it working she asked?" she had got bored of concentrating on the gem, it was rather dull.

"Okay, seriously? Who the hay was that? And did he just hang up on me? He just hung up on me. Not cool! Ugh. Might as well go back myself. Do what I can to tend to my ailing son." Allure inner monologued before taking flight.

"The assistance of field medics would be greatly appreciated, along with what muscle you might have to spare. We have several collapsed buildings in town and not enough able-bodied ponies left to search them for injured, and if we do find any, the hospital isn't likely to be able to accommodate everypony. We can set up a minor field hospital to accommodate both you and those we might find if it is. I am certain that the further assistance to the citizens will carry weight to the princesses, along with any words I bring them."

@@Blitz Boom, Astral smiled, and gladly grabbed another, and a few more after that. Misty, only grabbed one more. Astral liked the flavor, but it quickly became old for her, but, she still ate them. She wanted to add something, but seemed that Scarcity and Chow had things to work out... and once they had; "Wait, you discussing a new place? For him?" She asked pointing to Chow. "For a shop?" She took another truffle casually eating it, before continuing. "We still need a home, or we just traveled this whole way, for nothing." She looked at Chow. "It'd be like a vacation, but we just brought all our stuff with us and put Chow through the work of carrying it."

Misty looked to Scarcity. "Astral..." She looked back to said pony. "They were just talking business, you gotta be patient." Astral looked to Misty, a 16 year old teenager, to 8 year old filly, and the filly was the one giving advice. An event that could draw confusion out of Scarcity, or not, who knew.

"What are these, 'terms'?" she asked, a curious expression across her face. It may or may not have been obvious to Scarcity or Chow that this was a clever ruse to change the subject.

"I guess that may be an ominous warning to me." Ghilan half-jokingly said before bidding his farewell, hoping neither Sen nor Lin would stop him halfway through his step to call him out on a bad attempt at a pun. He left for parts unknown for the meantime but he left the siblings and Omen his hut's location should they need to reach him.

"The communal hut isn't too far away," Sen replied despite Omen's question being directed at Lin. "I was just at the archives and I spotted the flowers elder mentioned. A bright blue glow in a dark and musty room isn't difficult to miss."

Travelling to the archives didn't take too long, though it was helped by everyone in the village moving out of their way and keeping to themselves. No one asked even the smallest question about the odd strangers suddenly walking about. The elder seemed to be comfortable with them, why should they behave differently? But it was anyone's guess what the villagers really thought about them. Sen looked around the dark room upon reaching the archives and quickly located the flowers. Seeing them in the dark was one thing, but getting those to work their magic...

"So... any idea how this works?" Lin asked while fiddling with the air around the flower, as if expecting some kind of finger-waving trick to suddenly work. That was her idea until she decided to just touch the petals and out came bursting a light show, a barrage of blue light with each speck finding its place in the open air. It resembled the night sky with the stars shining their lights, followed by a deep and raspy voice speaking in contemplation.

When an animal is backed into a corner, it would be obvious to say only one or two things would happen: either it surrenders to its fate or it fights even harder, disregarding the fact that it has nothing left to lose. Plan accordingly and one could already set the outcome long before the situation comes into play. But what is the price of this? Losing freedom to ensure utopia? And then someone comes to challenge that idea. One small act can spiral to a much bigger one and something must be done about it. Oh Sen, I hope you're listening to this right now; it won't matter whether you choose to continue searching for your sister or remain silent on the matter. The fact is, you're setting yourself up to be an example of who these villagers shouldn't aspire to be. I hope you think hard about what you're getting yourself into...

The prattling ends there, but Sen remained silent. He clenched the flower hard, ready to tear it piece by piece, all that anger building up inside him ready to be unleashed. Meditations helped him calm down most of the time; this was one of those exceptions. But he would withhold himself from that luxury until he hears what the other recorded voice have to offer. And there was one more flower to listen to.

It's true that she was feeling somewhat hungry considering she had been working non-stop since morning, but she also didn't want to leave any task undone. Zhu examined the pony for a while, looking at several possibilities, both important or not, before he started to speak again.

"His importance is mixed. In most of his futures, his actions means little, and only the improbable ones include having a lasting impact, such as the one with the Forgotten One. And yet, as unlikely as it seems here, that is the path that were taken, more or less. Though I do see some trouble finding him soon that likely drove him away for a spell. In time though, he will return, though the tower seem to matter more in our timeline than anything else he have done.

There is an... Abnormality of sorts though. Along the line he threads, it seems as if something fogs the picture for about three hours or his life. Things go an as can be expected after that, but it makes me wonder if something important did happen there, or if being plunged into the past like this is merely making time itself show me some minor resistance."

He also wished to ask why it were that they even focused on this pony to begin with, as he seemed very unimportant to the grand picture, beyond having built this tower that featured a small bit in the battle of Ponyville, but likely there were a lesson to be made here that would be cleared up soon. Who knew? Might also be he had missed something that seemed unimportant, but would prove to be essential. He were not flawless after all. Nopony were.

There'll be enough residual magic to wreck havoc before you're even halfway, and that is if you c an even make a cut through it. They tend to be quite a bit more sturdy than you might think."

Briar might not have noticed anything, busy with Brittle as he were, but the somewhat elderly doctor sure had, and what she saw were not the most promising thing she had seen in a while. Frankly, it looked rather unprofessional and rushed, even if his horn were stuck in a tree.

"I'm Doctor Stitch , and I was told that a changeling here needed some help. Which will be easier done if we get him out of the tree rather than cut into him, so redirect your saw a little there young man before you end up hurting my patient."

Not everypony likes this sort of thing I'd imagine, especially not when they're off the clock, but since you offered... Hold on, just gonna go grab a pen."

Sea Breeze wouldn't be gone fr more than a few minutes before he'd return with a pen and a few slabs of paper he'd scrounged up from some rubble. He hadn't thought it something to touch when he passed it before, but considering the circumstances, he had a usage for it now.

"Her name's Rock Roller, just for the record."

"Empty promises."

"Then I'll make you a real one. If you don't start to use your brain and take in what goes on around you, I'm going to whip somepony in this room until you do."

The griffon followed her with narrowed eyes as she unwrapped the whip and gave it a few trying, back and forth motions before rising it and turning towards Zen, though she didn't stay there as she instead went for one that she knew he'd care about: His niece, who suddenly looked horrified in several ways as the whip started to swing towards her and-

"No!"

Pyhrus struggled to move, but still couldn't under the telekinesis. Not much anyway, but the point were proven by Null regardless, and the whip hit empty air.

"I wasn't actually going to hit her, but think on this: If you so believed she wasn't real, then what do you care that I might give her a whipping? Admit it, you're not sure if this is real or not, so you ain't willing to take the chance."

The large griffon gave her a stare that mostly signaled a want for the pony to be torn to shreds, but he didn't get the chance to say anything before Florence went over and put her talon on his chest, which seemed so much smaller when compared to the size of her uncle.

"P-Please Uncle. I'm not... How could you even think I was dead?"

His mind seemed to race after that, thinking on things, which seemed like a good time for Null to go closer to him, which would fizzle out the telekinesis around him in case Zen hadn't let go yet, at which point he'd put his talon to Florence's head and feel her feathers under his grip before she started to cry and buried her face in his chest again, whilst his own talon went to his face. A minor sign of him having to think, along with the now closed eyes and silent demeanor.

"That should do the trick. Come on Zen, let's give the two of them some privacy, alright? Something tells me that whatever's going on here, they'll need a bit of time to get through it without us snooping around."

                       ==================================================================================

@BloodDrops

She almost felt like writing it down that this pony seemingly had little control over her grip strength, but filed it for later. It were potentially a side effect of this illness that plagued her, and would have to go along with the studies and observations she made as time went by, which were things best kept to herself for the time being.

"No, it's not. Which is something you should be grateful about. Means that whatever have afflicted you aren't magic in nature. Just put the gem on the ground when you're done treating it like an icicle pop."

When the pony had done so eventually, Nerzhei would point her index finger towards the ground where the gem were, and as a green glow went over her hand, rock would rise from the ground and grow around it, encasing the gem in a protective layer that she'd pick up and place back on the table.

"I will have it boiled and burned later, to make sure no contagion remains, but for now, i think it's time to work on something that might help you. And considering the evidence presented thus far..."

She trailed off and went to her box, removing a few layers of gems that were each in an individual container. They seemed to be all around the same size and shape, though you could see it were not a professional as such that had cut them, in that they weren't all similar enough. And as for the colors of them... Well, those varied widely, though it seemed that all in the top layers were of a single color like pure blue, white, green, etc. whilst the bottom layer had several colors in one.

She nitpicked some gems of the single color ones - that being black, white, pale, red, green, blue and gray - then pausing before also taking forth a larger, clear one, along with a small, peculiar one that seemed to be a glassy pink.

"These should work, though... I think I'm going to need metal. I don't think anything wooden will be strong enough to hold this when it's done. I believe I heard of somepony living in the forest that might have a forge too... Yes, I think we should make our way there. I can explain what I'm going to do as we get along. Sounds okay with you?"

                                 ======================================================================

"I-It's not because of you. Everypony in this town seem so nice, but... M-My sister and I, we have been many places where most haven't been, and it... It's better to be safe."

She averted her eyes from him after saying this, and wandered towards the nearby house that had the last of the tables in the basement, whilst thinking over what she could say right now to things. What would Storm not think already, considering the answer she had given? That she were a troublemaker? It wouldn't make too much sense to her, but not many things that had happened to neither her nor her sister had made a lick of sense to her in a long, long time.

"Can I ask, is it just you and Grey here or.... I-I mean, you look close, and I don't want to impose, but I just wonder if he only haves you, or if perhaps his mother is around here too? I-It's okay if you don't want to answer."

he got a slightly lower tone near the end before turning around to open the door to the basement and grab a hold in one of the last four of the fold out tables that needed to be brought up. They had some weight to them, but it shouldn't be too bad to carry one for Storm Shine, him being a pegasi and all that. They weren't exactly known for their great, physical strength in her experience, unless they had reason to train it that were, but it was hard to tell if Storm were one of those types.

She could barely get the last word out as Draco placed his wing on her and she felt like her entire head went red like a tomato. Being this close to anypony were a rarity beyond even hearing her speak, and especially when it didn't make her freak out or at least wander away fast. Though she almost felt like freaking out would have been better considering the curious look the two of them got from Clayton, that had managed to pull himself together a title again after the entrance of Draco before.

He didn't say anything though, or got too close, as it had started to seem like a very... Ah, *personal* moment going on, that he should not interfere in, but he might have gotten too close to stop himself from interrupting something regardless at this point, though he hoped he hadn't. It seemed a shame for that to, based on what he saw right now.

""I will get the word spread immediately, and work on getting the word to Princess Celestia. It might be a while, but there is plenty to help with currently as well, so hopefully, you will not be kept idly waiting around. Until next we meet commander."

With that, he took flight and headed back towards Ponyville, where he'd get the word spread that these were friendlies, not foes, and prepare for any altercation that might occur. As for the word toward Celestia... He would not have any luck this day, but as he had sdaid, there had been plenty to do on this day, and as such, tomorrow, after the meeting would take place, it were possible that he could take hold in either her, or Luna, and then see if he could push along that they'd recognize the immense help Subterenea had been in the fight, and as well as in the aftermath.

Seemed like he had a long day ahead of him.

Blitz bounced a little in place before going through the motions and reciting the promise, like Pinkie had taught her.

"Cross my heart, hope to fly, put a cupcake in my eye."

Pinkie Promises were sacred, and even trying to tell would be very bad, though not something they'd have to worry about she'd do. Pinkie Pie was her idol, and had been since the day the filly first saw her, and as far as she were concerned, making a promise that Pinkie had created, were as sacred as any oath you might make to your family, or to the princesses. Likely even more.

"So, are you gonna hide here for a while, Proud? Because I think your brother's sorta right. Dusty dust everywhere here, and that's gonna tickle your nose a lot. Want me to help? "Oh, Chow knows well what my terms are. It is an investment of another sort that I am highly interested in. More so than a dingy little shop, or even, shall we say-"

Scarcity dragged one of the papers a little away from the others, once more making sure that Chow saw it, but also the others.

"- a deed to a particular house, with low surveillance, and a hidden basement, as were mentioned earlier. Quite effective for ones who mingle with zebra magic, and whatever other things I managed to glance at the cart before. Not everything seemed to be something that you would consider related to zebra magic, but I have no need to stick my nose into that, now do I? Not when it comes to friends of a close friend like you."

"Alright alright, you made your point."

"I do so love to hear that. But tell me then my dear, what will your answer be?"

Chow sat silently and pondered for a bit. He knew well what it would mean to bind himself like this to a promise, but at the same time...

"It's both of the deeds?"

"Most certainly. As I said, I value a good investment. Property is a location business most of all, and not one that costs me all that much. Especially not compared to what I can gain in return from this. Now that price, is of much more value to me than a couple of houses."

"...This is going to end biting me in the flank... Yes."

"What was that dear? I didn't quite hear you."

"I said yes, on the condition that it counts from tomorrow on my end. Gives me time to set up things and help the kids get moved in properly."

"Ahahaha, excellent! We are in agreement then."

The look Scarcity sent Chow were oddly joyful in the moment. Not smug, but more like she had just gained something she had aimed to get for some time now, and were pretty happy about the gain. But the look toned down some as she rummaged around in a drawer and pulled out two sets of keys, both in a ring, and containing a set of two, identical keys. A primary and a spare, for good measures. She also pulled forth an envelope that seemed to just contain a piece of paper, but it were closed, so it were hard to say if there were more really as she handed this, along with one of the pieces of papers on the table and a set of keys, to Astral and Misty.

"Congratulations my dear. You're home owners now. The envelope contains the information about how you open up the hidden room, as well as the address stamped on the back. It should be easy to find."

The piece of paper on the table, were now easy to see in it's entirety, and should be easy to recognize as a deed. A interesting turn of events, certainly.

The look in her eyes could be seen as somewhat hungry... If you were blind. The gaze that went over her, along with the slight drooling before she got her mouth water under control again, showed that if she were a dog, she'd be wagging her tail right about now in excitement. Perhaps a bit of an overreaction to the prospect of fresh muffins for some, but come on: Fresh, warm muffins? Who could not like the idea of that?

"And don't worry Trinket. Like Serenade said, I'll cover for you. I'll just say you got uhm... Something hitting you in the head, and you needed to get checked and have a break. That sounds about right."

The darkness of this place didn't really bother Omen when it were. Though she couldn't see in the dark, she had grown up in a place of dark shades and could well see the small nuances there was to that, leaving her mostly able to see things, even without the glowing flower. It did help of curse, though she didn't think much on that, as much as she did about what kind of thing this were. Like, how did a flower, record sound?

It was something that she wouldn't have thought twice about when Master Discord were in control, but this wasn't his kingdom, and unless they had these things for a very, very long time, it wasn't his handiwork either. But why would nature make things like this? Or had they themselves?

The message it contained gave her more questions to add to the pile, though one pressed itself to the front over the rest, as it seemed the most illogical of it all.

"Why would he record this message? Isn't this something that can be used against him? Proof, yes?"

She went closer to Sen and sniffed the flower, trying too gauge if there were any residual energy from the elder left on this at all (your decision) but also just wanting to examine it a little closer before Sen potentially destroyed it. She wasn't the only one, as when she were close enough, the little drake in her mane popped it's head out and sniffed towards the plant too, before snapping out against it. It couldn't reach currently, but if it got just a bit closer, who knew?

"What is this thing? Chaos? Seems strange a flower can have sound."
