She listened to his ramting a d raving noddimg and 'ohing' in mock attention. Then she heard his question and shrugged completely without an answer. "I don't know....I only just became a Wonderbolt, remember, dumb dumb", she said poking him. "Therefore...I don't know what I'm doing yet".

*He squirmed when she poked him and faked an angry huff.* "Oh, yeah... right... forgot about that." *He said, rubbing the back of his head.* "Whoops, my bad. I tend to forget a lot of things." *He finished with an embarrassed grin on his face, taking a sip of his drink, finishing it off.*

"You forget everything huh....that's just because you're really, really dumb, Blue", she said kissing his cheek. "As soon as I know what I'm doing, I will tell you, okay you nosy fool",. She took his bottle away and tossed it up before frying. "See, cleaning can be fun", she said grinning at how ridiculous that sounded.

"Yes, I believe I am the very essence of stupidity in its purest form!" *He said proudly, then realized what he had said.* "Wait, that's not something to be proud of. And did you just say cleaning can be FUN!?" *He nearly fell over laughing.* "Who are you and what did you do with the Storm Strafe I know?!"

"Moron.....I was kidding.....and hey....frying stuff is fun....and it got rid of the used up bottle....and frying it was fun...so yeah....I guess cleaning can....I can't even say it with a straight face.... I give up", she said hugging him lightly. "Seriously though.....forget I said that crap or I'll kill you painfully, got it"?

*He wiped a tear away from his eye, and hugged her back.* "Oh, I know you don't mean that." *He said with a chuckle.* "But knowing you, I'd probably not want to challenge you on that and leave it at a 'friendly threat'." *He finished, knowing she wouldn't really kill him unless he really pissed her off.*

She slid across the couch and leaned against him,not with mmuch force on him, just enough that he could reel that she was laying in him. She sparked a ball if lightning in her hoof and smiled innocently at him. "If I kill you, I'm gonna do it by forcing this lightning ball down your throat.... and maybe that won't be call that goes down your throat".

"Uhhhhhhhhh..." *He muttered as he went wide eyed, growing a worried expression on his face shocked at what she was doing and had said.* "How about we not do that, and say we did?" *He offered sheepishly, hoping she wasn't really serious.* "What in Sam hell is going on!?" *He screamed internally.*

She nibbled his neck affectionately and started laughing at his stammering. "Relax, relax...I'm just messing with you buddy. But seriously though, you need to relax", she said quietly as her eyes started to close indicating she was half asleep. "...love y..", she mumbled almost silently.

*He let out his breath he was holding in and relaxed.* "Alright, Alright I will." *He said. As he looked at her, he noticed she looked incredibly tired, probably from the flight, and as her eyes were closing, he heard her mumble very little, but picked up most of what she said from her lip movements.* "Did... did she just say..." *He mentally stuttered, then came back to reality. He pulled her down to him in a hug.* "Love you too." *He whispered.*

She heard what he said and took a couple minutes to process it. "..Cool, I'm g...onna go to bed, come when....ever you feel like... it", she said floating up the roof to the second and lying down on her pink canopy bed and going out like a light. She had her wings lying roughly unfurled on the bed.

*He watched her fly upwards and just shook his head with a smile. He got up and went to her bedroom to get some rest. When he entered, he was greeted with the sight of Storm out cold and her wings unfurled over the bed.* "Charming." *He said sarcastically. He went over to the bed and lifted one of her wings, got under it, and let the wing fall back into him, then wrapping his own wing around her. He gave her a light kiss on her cheek before settling in and closing his eyes to sleep.*

Storm was too tired to even toss and turn so she just curled slightly and other than that, she slept nearly perfectly still and she was silent through the night. All in all, a rare night for Storm Strafe. She awoke halfway through the night and looked around realizing in her bed and not in a performance with the Wonderbolt. "Oh, thank Celestia", she said burying her head under her pillow.

*Blue being the semi-light, semi-heavy sleeper he is, was barely just awoken by Storm's sudden movements. His eyes barely fluttered open and looked at her, wondering what she was doing up this late.* "Hmm?" *Was all that he could say, him still tired from waking up.*

(Storm Strafe isn't as untouchable as she acts....she has this problem....a little thing called stage fright....hence her waking up in the middle of the night).

 

Storm realized Blur had woken up and peeked her her head out. "What are y..you doing up", she asked rubbing her eyes, still exhausted. She silently decided to lie awake however as to not have any more Wonderbolt dreams.

*He raised his head slowly, still really tired.* "Well, I could ask you the same question. I woke up cause you were moving. My body is weird sometimes, I can be a heavy sleeper, and a light one." *He said quietly, sounding sleepy. He yawned then continued.* "So why are you up? Anything wrong?" *He whispered.*

"Might as well.....go ahead and make whatever jokes you want once you're awake enough to...I have stage. And before you ask about the band, whenever we play in front of any pony, an actual concert, I surrounded myself in a tornado so I can't are them and they can't see me, and thats why um so glad we practice in Glitch's DJ studio....because nopony can see it since the stores closed during band meet ups....they don't even know, they think the tornado is me being a showboat and that its part of the shoe", she said yawning.

*Blue just responded with a deadpan, not just because he was tired, but because he could relate to that as well. He pulled her close and hugged her.* "I'm not going to make fun of you for having stage fright." *He said with a sleepy slur and a yawn.* "I have stage fright as well, granted I don't ever need to speak in front of others, but anyways, it's a normal phobia for lots of ponies." *He gave her a light squeeze.* "Is this what woke you?"

"If that wasn't the problem, I wouldn't have told you about it. But tte stage fright itself isn't the problem. With the band, I can hide in a tornado.... but I can't do that when I'm with the Wonderbolts ..they are performers.... so I have to be able to he seen....which means seeing every pony watching....and come on....I act all tough and cheap....because I am...but, I can't even perform without freaking out and hiding inside a storm..", she said nuzzling him a bit.

"Oh, right. Sorry, I'm still half asleep." *He yawned and smacked the insides of his mouth to show his sleepiness.* "Hmm, have you discussed this with Spitfire at all? Does she know about your secret stage fright, cause it cause a problem at a show of yours and she probably should know." *He said, nuzzling her a little.*

Shook her head before lying back down on the pillow. "Uh-uh...you're the third pony I've told....the others being Flash and Blaze....I haven't told Spitfire but if I do, maybe she'll drop me from the team...if I'm lucky. I know it seems odd that I dont wanna be a Wonderbolt anymore, but I like my life here...with you and Glitch and Blaze and Echo....if I'm a Wonderbolt, I can't stay here", she said solemnly.

*He felt a twinge of happiness in his chest when she said that he was a reason she didn't want to leave Ponyville, but also a bit of sadness knowing she couldn't be a Wonderbolt.* "Are you sure you don't want to be a Wonderbolt? That's a huge decision." *He whispered.*

"Blue, stop it. Listen. I am lead guitar for a legitimate kickass band.....I got a cute nerd coltfriend..I got some of the best friends a pony could have, and they are all right here....if I go and became a Wonderbolt.... I'll screw the performance, and I'll have to leave everything and everyone I care about behind", she said pointedly. "Seriously Blue, stop making me act all sappy, its pissing me off".

"Alright, alright. That probably was a stupid question to ask." *He said with a yawn.* "Sorry about that. It just feels weird that you're partially staying here for me, never had that sort of thing happen." *He was interrupted by another yawn.* "So you're going to go tell Spitfire you're not interested then?"

She yawned and nodded sleepily. "Yeah, yeah....in the morning". She pointed her hoof up in the air dramatically as making a proclamation. "But now, we sleep", she said lowering her hood and nestling up against him gingerly before falling back to sleep in serene silence.
