They're cute, in the same way some of the Sonic ships are adorable. They just felt wrong sometimes when some of the characters haven't met or talked to each other or they are both from the same sex. I

I think a Twilight x Trixie has a lot of potential in the romance and cuteness department.

No. There's little to no romance in the series. I don't get it. :mustache:

thats why ships survive better in fan made works.

Yeah, that basically sums it up.

 

For me, it's just vapid fun -- nothing to be taken seriously. Some ships are cute and others push the limits of imagination. Did you know that Trixie x Cheerilee was a thing?

 

Personally, I'm finding this ship interesting...

Indeed. My only Yaoi ships in MLP are.

Some of them make sense. Some don't. I have like 21-26 ships,including out of MLP.

 

As you can see,I am a huge shipper.

I know it exists in the animal kingdom, but these are cartoon animals. Like I said, I don't mind shipping.

How have I not replied to this?

 

For me, shipping is all about that character development, potential drama, and the cute factor. Even if the characters have never or rarely ever met, if their is potential for positive character growth from having romantic sparks fly between them than I am all for it. If its just a slash pairing with no depth I am not interested.

 

Take Cheerimac for example. They have been building them up in the background for quite some time and they clearly have chemistry even without the love poison. Perhaps Mac wasnt the best student in school, them working together to learn things he never got to while toiling on a farm is great character development material. Why? Cause he would have to admit that to a mare he likes, or she could find out. He could be embarrased by this and have to open up to her if he wants to get closer. She would have to be tactful and considerate since Big Mac is a smart pony, but he just had to learn different things when his folks passed to keep the farm going. Her helping him would give him something he lost with his childhood, and he accepting her help would allow him to open up and be closer to another pony that isn't family. Boom, character development and potential for continuing stories. Buck Testa Approved.

Shipping is fun! Especially in Twilight sparkle secret shipping folder!

 

But if there's one thing this changeling likes is love, and paring up 2 characters and making love bloom is something that a changeling likes to do ^_^

I am also a fan of of ships involving more than two characters cause drama :wub:

 

For instance I have a hybrid ship of Rarijack and AppleDash with Applejack as the center. The concept is after Granny passes and the Apples are going through grieving the mane six step up to help, but none more than Dashy And Rarity. Somehow before Applejack knows what hit her she has two powerful yet different personalities vying for her affection and Attention. The idea of Rarity and Dash squabbling over Aj is funny as heck to me, and I could see Aj being like

"Relationships can be a hard thing to deal with Big Mac, Take my Waifus...Please!"
