It's kind of funny because bat ponies are meant to be, you know "scary," yet in reality they're almost more adorable than a normal pony is. I quite love the creatures!

I forgot that Batponies were kannon, Unless the one time we've seen them in the show were temporary, enchantments by Princess Luna.

 

Eh, I still believe that the Batponies are Princess Luna's personal and Elite Guard.
